We study mixed boundary value problems for an elliptic operator on a manifold with boundary , i.e., in on , where is subdivided into subsets with an interface and boundary conditions on that are Shapiro–Lopatinskij elliptic up to from the respective sides. We assume that is a manifold with conical singularity . As an example we consider the Zaremba problem, where is the Laplacian and Dirichlet, Neumann conditions. The problem is treated as a corner boundary value problem near which is the new point and the main difficulty in this paper. Outside the problem belongs to the edge calculus as is shown in Bull. Sci. Math. (to appear).With a mixed problem we associate Fredholm operators in weighted corner Sobolev spaces with double weights, under suitable edge conditions along of trace and potential type. We construct parametrices within the calculus and establish the regularity of solutions.  相似文献

Mixed elliptic boundary value problems are characterised by conditions which have a jump along an interface of codimension 1 on the boundary. We study such problems in weighted edge spaces and show the Fredholm property and the existence of parametrices under additional conditions of trace and potential type on the interface. We develop a new method for computing the interface conditions in terms of the index of boundary value problems in weighted spaces on infinite cones, combined with structures from the calculus of boundary value problems on a manifold with edges. This will be illustrated by the Zaremba problem and other mixed problems for the Laplace operator. The approach itself is completely general.  相似文献

This paper is devoted to some of the properties of uniformly elliptic differential operators with bounded coefficients on manifolds of bounded geometry in L pspaces. We prove the coincidence of minimal and maximal extensions of an operator of a considered type with a positive principal symbol, the existence of holomorphic semigroup, generated by it, and the estimates of L p-norms of the operators of this semigroup. Some spectral properties of such operators in L pspaces are also studied.  相似文献

We study the semiclassical measure for the solution of the high-frequency Helmholtz equation in Rn with non-constant absorption index and a source term concentrated on a bounded submanifold of Rn. The potential is not assumed to be non-trapping, but trapped trajectories have to go through the region where the absorption index is positive. In that case, the solution is microlocally written around any point away from the source as a sum (finite or infinite) of lagrangian distributions.  相似文献

The Penrose transform is used to construct a complex starting with the Dirac operator in two Clifford variables. The corresponding relative BGG complex and its direct image is computed for cohomology with values in line bundles induced by representations in singular infinitesimal character. The limit of the induced spectral sequence is computed in cases connected with the Dirac operator in two Clifford variables. We prove the existence of solutions for a nonlocal equation arising from the mathematical modeling of MicroElectroMechanicalSystems (MEMS). The existence result, obtained within a suitable Implicit Function Theorem framework, is established under rather general boundary conditions and for bounded domains whose diameter is fairly small.  相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to use the geometrical theory of nonlinear partial differential equations and the theory of singularities of maps in order to obtain the general scheme for constructing shock waves from multivalued solutions, given by smooth integral manifolds. We prove the global-in-time Strichartz estimates for wave equations on the nontrapping asymptotically conic manifolds. We obtain estimates for the full set of wave admissible indices, including the endpoint. The key points are the properties of the microlocalized spectral measure of Laplacian on this setting showed in [18] and a Littlewood–Paley squarefunction estimate. As applications, we prove the global existence and scattering for a family of nonlinear wave equations on this setting.  相似文献

We obtain critical point variants of the compression fixed point theorem in cones of Krasnoselskii. Critical points are localized in a set defined by means of two norms. In applications to semilinear elliptic boundary value problems this makes possible the use of local Moser-Harnack inequalities for the estimations from below. We show that the only locally integrable stationary solutions to the integrated Kuramoto-Sivashinsky equation in R and R2 are the trivial constant solutions. We extend our technique and prove similar results to other nonlinear elliptic problems in RN.  相似文献
