在考虑介质色散的基础上,研究了介质层厚度对光子晶体带隙结构的影响.利用传输矩阵法,计算了以LiF和Si两种材料组成的一维光子晶体带隙结构.结果表明,介质层厚度的增加会引起禁带的红移,厚度减小会引起蓝移.分析了含空气缺陷层、金属缺陷层的光子晶体结构,发现空气缺陷层对带隙结构的高反射区域变化不大,而在低反射区域,反射系数为零的波带之间出现了两边反射系数增加,中间反射系数减小的情况.在金属缺陷层的带隙结构中,金属对整个波长范围光的吸收作用不同,金属对低反射区1.6 μm、1.85 μm处透射率较大的透射光吸收作用明显,而在1.28~1.38 μm处透射率波长区间,几乎无吸收.  相似文献

利用传输矩阵方法,研究了镜像对称缓变准周期结构一维光子晶体的缺陷模。结果表明,当镜像对称缓变准周期结构一维光子晶体的周期数增加时,禁带宽度逐渐展宽;引入缺陷后,出现缺陷模,缺陷模的波长随缺陷层厚度增加和缺陷层介质折射率的增大而向长波方向移动。  相似文献

利用紧束缚方法分析了双局域态光子晶体产生双缺陷模的机理, 采用传输矩阵法研究了一维光子晶体的光学传输特性, 并得到了透射谱与晶体结构参数的关系, 在此基础上讨论了光子晶体在受到单轴应力时所表现出的介观压光效应, 据此设计了一种结构简单的应力调制的近红外波段的多通道滤波结构.通过数值模拟可以看出, 随着各介质层折射率或厚度的增加, 缺陷模发生红移.当对多系双局域态光子晶体施加单轴拉伸应力时, 各缺陷峰都向长波长移动, 且缺陷峰峰值基本不变.经过数值拟合, 缺陷峰中心波长与对光子晶体施加单轴拉伸应力所产生的应变呈线性关系.该滤波器结构简单、可调谐性好, 在一系列精巧的光子晶体激光器、波分复用器或者其他精密仪器的制造中有一定的应用价值.  相似文献

利用传输矩阵法研究了对称结构和非对称结构一维光子晶体微谐振腔的调谐特性和品质因子.研究发现:当缺陷层光学厚度增加时,缺陷模中心波长也会随着增加即向长波方向移动,微谐振腔的调谐特性与缺陷层两边介质的折射率有关;相比于对称结构,非对称结构能在较小的缺陷层光学厚度变化范围内实现较大波长范围的线性调谐;品质因子随缺陷层厚度的增加先增大后减小,在缺陷模中心波长为λ0时可达最大值;高低折射率介质层的排布对微谐振腔品质因子有影响.  相似文献

可见光波段SiO2/CdSe一维光子晶体及缺陷模的研究究   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
采用SiO2/CdSe构建了可见光波段一维光子晶体结构,并在其中引入LiTaO3缺陷层。利用传输矩阵法,分析了电磁波在无缺陷与含LiTaO3缺陷层两种光子晶体中的带隙结构,系统地研究了缺陷层参数对光子晶体可见光波段带隙结构的影响规律。计算结果表明:LiTaO3的引入,有利于带隙宽度的增加,调整缺陷层结构参数,缺陷模的位置可在不同颜色区域出现,如红光、黄光等缺陷模。该结构有望用于制作可见光波段的滤波器。  相似文献

对含有非线性材料的一维光子晶体带隙结构进行了数值计算.在外部入射光强调制下,非线性缺陷层折射率的改变会引起禁带内缺陷模的移动,而光子晶体禁带位置与宽度基本保持不变;若基本周期层取非线性材料,随入射光强的改变,禁带内部缺陷模发生相同的移动,同时,禁带位置和禁带宽度也会发生移动.利用这一性质可以对光子晶体进行动态外部调制,在此基础上对非线性一维光子晶体动态滤波选频进行了实验设计.  相似文献

用转移矩阵方法研究了由单负材料组成的含有缺陷层的一维光子晶体的透射特性.研究结果表明:当缺陷层存在时,会在原有光子晶体的禁带中出现缺陷模.缺陷模的位置随杂质层磁导率μ的增加从禁带的高频端向低频端移动;但随杂质层介电常数ε的增加却从禁带的低频端向高频端移动.利用该特性可以实现对光传播的动态调控. 关键词: 单负材料 光子晶体 缺陷模  相似文献

对一维掺杂光子晶体嵌入负介电常数材料和负磁导率材料中缺陷模的透射性质进行了研究.利用转移矩阵方法,分别计算了负介电常数材料和负磁导率材料的反射相位谱和一维掺杂光子晶体的透射相位谱.研究发现,在特定条件下,负介电常数材料和负磁导率材料的反射相位以及一维掺杂光子晶体的往返透射相位之和是0或者2π的整数倍.这样的研究结果表明,在满足一定的条件下,一维掺杂的光子晶体嵌入负介电常数材料和负磁导率材料中后,无论杂质的厚度多大,在光子带隙中仅出现一个缺陷模.而且,由于负介电常数材料和负磁导率材料性质的限制,单个缺陷模的品质因子会大大提高.  相似文献

One-dimensional photonic crystals (1DPCs) composed of dispersive materials (including negative refractive index materials, negative μ materials, and negative ? materials) are proposed. The dependence of the band gaps on the angle of incidence and thickness scale are investigated by using the transfer matrix method. Simulation results show that the band gaps of these dispersive material 1DPC are insensitive to the thickness scale. The defect modes of these doped 1DPCs behave specially when the thickness of the defect layer, the angle of incidence and the thickness scale of PC change.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate the electromagnetic surface waves localized at the interface of the homogeneous dielectric medium and a semi-infinite one-dimensional photonic crystal (1D PC), theoretically. The semi-infinite 1D PC is made of alternative layers of left-handed (LH) and right-handed (RH) materials in the presence of a thin nonlinear cap layer. We consider magnetic permeability and electric permittivity of LH layers being dispersive and non-dispersive. We used an analytical direct matching procedure within the Kronig-Penny model to analyze the dispersion behavior of surface waves with controllable localization. It is shown that the thin nonlinear cap layer acts as a tool to change the backward surface waves to forward ones and vice versa and it plays an important role on the localization of them. Also we show that when the LH layers are chosen dispersive, negative dispersion of surface waves are obtained in a wide range of radiation angle and frequency, and we propose an approach to calculate the applied electric field intensity that leads to switching of surface waves from backward to forward and creating a surface mode with maximum localization.  相似文献

It is found that when a light beam is incident on a one-dimensional photonic crystal (1DPC) containing a defect layer, the lateral shifts of both the reflected and the transmitted beams are greatly enhanced near the defect mode of the 1DPC, whose location depends on the angles at a fixed frequency. The effect was studied by use of a Gaussian beam. The giant lateral displacement is due to the localization of the electromagnetic wave.  相似文献

The existence and stability of defect solitons supported by parity-time (PT) symmetric defects in superlattices are investigated. In the semi-infinite gap, in-phase solitons are found to exist stably for positive defects, zero defects, and negative defects. In the first gap, out-of-phase solitons are stable for positive defects or zero defects, whereas in-phase solitons are stable for negative defects. For both the in-phase and out-of-phase solitons with the positive defect and in-phase solitons with negative defect in the first gap, there exists a cutoff point of the propagation constant below which the defect solitons vanish. The value of the cutoff point depends on the depth of defect and the imaginary parts of the PT symmetric defect potentials. The influence of the imaginary part of the PT symmetric defect potentials on soliton stability is revealed.  相似文献

We demonstrate a photonic band gap (PBG) from a layered periodic structure containing anisotropic nonmagnetic right-handed and left-handed metamaterials whose permittivity elements are partially negative. A set of criteria imposed on materials and structures to realize a PBG is derived, and the transmission spectra are also discussed. When a defect layer is introduced, some unusual properties are found in contrast to that of a defect mode in ordinary PBG structures.  相似文献

Based on the matrix method, a theory of propagation of TE- and TH-polarized Bessel light beams (BLBs) in a one-dimensional photonic crystal (1DPC) is developed. The transmission through a 1DPC (with and without a defect impurity) of a quasi-circularly-polarized incident Bessel beam generated by an axicon from a circularly-polarized Gaussian beam has been calculated and analyzed. Also a solution of the problem on the transmission of BLBs through crystalline plate (layer of a uniaxial crystal with the orientation of the optical axis orthogonally to its interfaces) and reflection from it has been presented.Based on this, a new method of formation of TE- and TH-polarized Bessel light beams has been proposed. It has been shown that it is possible to control this process by changing the cone angle of an incident Bessel light beam. The effect of generation of a coherent superposition of two Bessel beams with different cone angles in the case of a high birefringence of defect layer has been predicted theoretically.  相似文献

We propose a one-dimensional photonic crystal (1DPC) with multilayered periodic structures containing dispersive anisotropic single-negative (ASNG) (permittivity- or permeability-negative) metamaterials. The influences of the ratio of dA/dB and their scale on ASNG gaps are discussed. Moreover, the effect of a nonlinear defect layer introduced into the proposed structure is also analyzed, and the results show that the defect mode has two peaks of electrical fields in the defect layer and its bistability property is also different from a defect mode in PCs with isotropic SNG gaps.  相似文献

We study tunneling modes in a one-dimensional photonic crystal (1DPC) with multilayered periodic structures containing dispersive anisotropic single-negative (ASNG; permittivity- or permeability-negative) metamaterials.
