Let fodd(z):= ∑ k=1ζ(2k + 1)z2k be the power series with the values of the Riemann ζ function at odd integers as coefficients. This function can be analytically continued to a meromorphic function over C. We prove that 1 and the values of fodd at rational points with relatively prime denominators are linearly independent over ―Q. Some arithmetical properties of the sequence {ζ(2k+1)} k=1 are deduced. We consider a fully nonlinear partial differential equation associated to the intermediate \(L^p\) Christoffel–Minkowski problem in the case \(1<p<k+1\). We establish the existence of convex body with prescribed k-th even p-area measure on \(\mathbb S^n\), under an appropriate assumption on the prescribed function. We construct examples to indicate certain geometric condition on the prescribed function is needed for the existence of smooth strictly convex body. We also obtain \(C^{1,1}\) regularity estimates for admissible solutions of the equation when \( p\ge \frac{k+1}{2}\).  相似文献

The notion of the factor-web [`(W)] \bar{W} (ρ, r, r) (1 ≤ ρ < r) is defined for the three-web W(r, r, r) formed on a 2r-dimensional differentiable manifold by three r-dimensional smooth foliations. Using infinite time Turing machines we define two successive extensions of Kleene’s O{\mathcal{O}} and characterize both their height and their complexity. Specifically, we first prove that the one extension—which we will call O+{\mathcal{O}^{+}}—has height equal to the supremum of the writable ordinals, and that the other extension—which we will call O++{\mathcal{O}}^{++}—has height equal to the supremum of the eventually writable ordinals. Next we prove that O+{\mathcal{O}^+} is Turing computably isomorphic to the halting problem of infinite time Turing computability, and that O++{\mathcal{O}^{++}} is Turing computably isomorphic to the halting problem of eventual computability.  相似文献

We prove an asymptotic version of a conjecture by Varagnolo and Vasserot on an equivalence between the category \({\mathcal {O}}\) for a cyclotomic rational Cherednik algebra and a suitable truncation of an affine parabolic category \({\mathcal {O}}\) that, in particular, implies Rouquier’s conjecture on the decomposition numbers in the former. Our proof uses two ingredients: an extension of Rouquier’s deformation approach as well as categorical actions on highest weight categories and related combinatorics.  相似文献

We find for g ≤ 5 a stratification of depth g − 2 of the moduli space of curves with the property that its strata are affine and the classes of their closures provide a -basis for the Chow ring of . The first property confirms a conjecture of one of us. The main aim of this article is to study the hypercomplex π-operator over \mathbbCn+1{\mathbb{C}^{n+1}} via real, compact, n + 1-dimensional manifolds called domain manifolds. Let n be a nonzero integer. A set of m distinct positive integers is called a D(n)-m-tuple if the product of any two of them increased by n is a perfect square. Let k be a positive integer.
