The nickel coordination chemistry of a series of polytopic diazine (N-N) based ligands has been examined. Self-assembly reactions lead to examples of dinuclear, trinuclear, tetranuclear, pentanuclear, and octanuclear complexes, all of which exhibit magnetic exchange coupling, with antiferromagnetic and ferromagnetic examples. Structural details are presented for [(L1)(2)Ni(2)(H(2)O)(2)](NO(3))(4).3H(2)O (1), [(L2)(2)Ni(3)(H(2)O)(2)](NO(3))(6).8H(2)O (2), [(L3)(4)Ni(4)(H(2)O)(8)] (NO(3))(4).8H(2)O (3), [(L4)(2)Ni(5)(H(2)O)(10)(NO(3))](NO(3))(7).8H(2)O (4), and [(L5)(4)Ni(8)(H(2)O)(8)](BF(4))(8).16H(2)O (5). Compound 1 crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group P2(1)/c, with a = 14.937(1) A, b = 18.612(2) A, c = 20.583(2) A, beta = 108.862(2) degrees, Z = 4. Compound 2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic system, space group P2(1)2(1)2, with a = 21.771(4) A, b = 13.700(2) A, c = 20.017(3) A, Z = 4. Compound 3 crystallizes in the tetragonal system, space group P4(3), with a = 12.9483(7) A, c = 33.416(3) A, Z = 4. Compound 4 crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group P(-)1, with a = 12.6677(8) A, b = 18.110(1) A, c = 19.998(1) A, alpha = 100.395(1) degrees, beta = 109.514(1) degrees, gamma = 109.686(1) degrees, Z = 2. Compound 5 crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group P2(1)/n, with a = 21.153(5) A, b = 35.778(9) A, c = 21.823(5) A, beta = 97.757(6) degrees, Z = 4. The linear trinuclear Ni(II) complex (2) has a cis-N-N single bond bridge, and a water bridge linking the central Ni(II) to each external Ni(II) center in each of two similar trinuclear subunits, and exhibits intramolecular ferromagnetic exchange (J = 5.0 cm(-1)). A novel octanuclear metallacyclic ring structure exists in 5, with trans-N-N single bond bridges linking adjacent Ni(II) centers, leading to quite strong intramolecular antiferromagnetic exchange (J = -30.4 cm(-1)).  相似文献

The structures and magnetic properties of self-assembled copper(II) clusters and grids with the "tritopic" ligands 2poap (a), Cl2poap (b), m2poap (c), Cl2pomp (d), and 2pomp (e) are described [ligands derived by reaction of 4-R-2,6-pyridinedicarboxylic hydrazide (R = H, Cl, MeO) with 2-pyridinemethylimidate (a-c, respectively) or 2-acetylpyridine (d, R = Cl; e, R = H)]. Cl2poap and Cl2pomp self-assemble with Cu(NO(3))(2) to form octanuclear "pinwheel" cluster complexes [Cu(8)(Cl2poap-2H)(4)(NO(3))(8)].20H(2)O (1) and [Cu(8)(Cl2pomp-2H)(4)(NO(3))(8)].15H(2)O (2), built on a square [2 x 2] grid with four pendant copper arms, using "mild" reaction conditions. Similar reactions of Cl2pomp and 2pomp with Cu(ClO(4))(2) produce pinwheel clusters [Cu(8)(Cl2pomp-2H)(4)(H(2)O)(8)](ClO(4))(8).7H(2)O (3) and [Cu(8)(2pomp-2H)(4)(H(2)O)(8)](ClO(4))(8) (4), respectively. Heating a solution of 1 in MeOH/H(2)O produces a [3 x 3] nonanuclear square grid complex, [Cu(9)(Cl2poap-H)(3)(Cl2poap-2H)(3)](NO(3))(9).18H(2)O (5), which is also produced by direct reaction of the ligand and metal salt under similar conditions. Reaction of m2poap with Cu(NO(3))(2) produces only the [3 x 3] grid [Cu(9)(m2poap-H)(2)(m2poap-2H)(4)](NO(3))(8).17H(2)O (6) under similar conditions. Mixing the tritopic ligand 2poap with pyridine-2,6-dicarboxylic acid (picd) in the presence of Cu(NO(3))(2) produces a remarkable mixed ligand, nonanuclear grid complex [Cu(9)(2poap-H)(4)(picd-H)(3)(picd-2H)](NO(3))(9).9H(2)O (7), in which aromatic pi-stacking interactions are important in stabilizing the structure. Complexes 1-3 and 5-7 involve single oxygen atom (alkoxide) bridging connections between adjacent copper centers, while complex 4 has an unprecedented mixed micro-(N-N) and micro-O metal ion connectivity. Compound 1 (C(76)H(92)N(44)Cu(8)O(50)Cl(4)) crystallizes in the tetragonal system, space group I, with a = 21.645(1) A, c = 12.950(1) A, and Z = 2. Compound 2 (C(84)H(88)N(36)O(44)Cl(4)Cu(8)) crystallizes in the tetragonal system, space group I, with a = 21.2562(8) A, c = 12.7583(9) A, and Z = 2. Compound 4 (C(84)H(120)N(28)O(66)Cl(8)Cu(8)) crystallizes in the tetragonal system, space group I4(1)/a, with a = 20.7790(4) A, c = 32.561(1) A, and Z = 4. Compound 7(C(104)H(104)N(46)O(56)Cu(9)) crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group P, with a = 15.473(1) A, b = 19.869(2) A, c = 23.083(2) A, alpha = 88.890(2) degrees, beta = 81.511(2) degrees, gamma = 68.607(1) degrees, and Z = 2. All complexes exhibit dominant intramolecular ferromagnetic exchange coupling, resulting from an orthogonal bridging arrangement within each polynuclear structure.  相似文献

Three new supramolecular entities of Cu(II) were synthesized and characterized: [(Cu(H(2)O)(tmen))(2)(mu-Cu(H(2)O)(opba))](2)[(ClO(4))(2)](2).2H(2)O (1), [(Cu(H(2)O)(tmen))(2) (mu-Cu(H(2)O) (Me(2)pba))](2)[(ClO(4))(2)](2) (2), and [(Cu(H(2)O)(tmen))(Cu(tmen))(mu-Cu(OHpba))](n)() ((ClO(4))(2))(n)().nH(2)O (3), where opba = o-phenylenbis(oxamato), Me(2)pba = 2,2-dimethyl-1,3-propylenbis(oxamato), OHpba = 2-hydroxy-1,3-propylenbis(oxamato), and tmen = N,N,N'N'-tetramethylethylenediamine. The crystal structures of 1, 2, and 3 were solved. Complex 1 crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group C2/c with a = 20.572(4) A, b = 17.279(6) A, c = 22.023(19) A, beta = 103.13(4) degrees, and Z = 8. Complex 2 crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group P2(1)/c, with a = 16.7555(7) A, b = 13.5173(5) A, c = 17.1240(7) A, beta = 104.9840(10) degrees, and Z = 4. Complex 3 crystallizes in the orthorhombic system, space group Pca2(1) with a = 21.2859(4) A, b = 12.8286(10) A, c = 12.6456(2) A, and Z = 4. The three complexes are very similar in structure: a trinuclear Cu(II) complex with the two terminal Cu(II) ions blocked by N,N,N',N'-tetramethylethylenediamine, but with a different environment in the Cu(II) central ion. In the case of complex 1, two of these trinuclear entities are packed with a short distance between the central Cu(II) ions of two separate entities forming a hexanuclear-type compound. In the case of 2, two of these trinuclear entities are linked by a hydrogen bond between a water molecule of one terminal Cu(II) and one oxygen atom of the oxamato ligand of the neighboring entity, also forming a hexanuclear complex. In the case of complex 3, the intermolecular linkages give a one-dimensional system where the OH groups of the OHpba entities are linked to the terminal Cu(II) of the neighboring entities. The magnetic properties of the three complexes were studied by susceptibility measurements vs temperature. For complex 1, an intramolecular J value of -312.1 cm(-)(1) and a contact dipolar interaction of -0.44K were found. For complex 2 and 3 the fit was made by the irreducible tensor operator formalism (ITO). The values obtained were as follows: J(1) = -333.9 cm(-)(1) and J(2) = 0.67 cm(-)(1) for 2 and J(1) = -335.9 cm(-)(1) and J(2) = 3.5 cm(-)(1) for 3.  相似文献

Six new actinide metal thiophosphates have been synthesized by the reactive flux method and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction: Cs(8)U(5)(P(3)S(10))(2)(PS(4))(6) (I), K(10)Th(3)(P(2)S(7))(4)(PS(4))(2) (II), K(5)U(PS(4))(3) (III), K(5)Th(PS(4))(3) (IV), Rb(5)Th(PS(4))(3) (V), and Cs(5)Th(PS(4))(3) (VI). Compound II crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2/c with a = 32.8085(6) A, b = 9.0482(2) A, c = 27.2972(3) A, beta = 125.720(1) degrees, Z = 8. Compound III crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c with a = 14.6132(1) A, b = 17.0884(2) A, c = 9.7082(2) A, beta = 108.63(1) degrees, Z = 4. Compound IV crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/n with a = 9.7436(1) A, b = 11.3894(2) A, c = 20.0163(3) A, beta = 90.041(1) degrees, Z = 4, as a pseudo-merohedrally twinned cell. Compound V crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c with a = 13.197(4) A, b = 9.997(4) A, c = 18.189(7) A, beta = 100.77(1) degrees, Z = 4. Compound VI crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c with a = 13.5624(1) A, b = 10.3007(1) A, c = 18.6738(1) A, beta = 100.670(1) degrees, Z = 4. Optical band-gap measurements by diffuse reflectance show that compounds I and III contain tetravalent uranium as part of an extended electronic system. Thorium-containing compounds are large-gap materials. Raman spectroscopy on single crystals displays the vibrational characteristics expected for [PS(4)](3)(-), [P(2)S(7)](4-), and the new [P(3)S(10)](5)(-) building blocks. This new thiophosphate building block has not been observed except in the structure of the uranium-containing compound Cs(8)U(5)(P(3)S(10))(2)(PS(4))(6).  相似文献

The magnetic behavior of the three complexes has been checked showing strong antiferromagnetic coupling in all the cases.  相似文献

The dinucleating macrocyclic ligands (L(2;2))(2-) and (L(2;3))(2-), comprised of two 2-[(N-methylamino)methyl]-6-(iminomethyl)-4-bromophenolate entities combined by the -(CH(2))(2)- chain between the two aminic nitrogen atoms and by the -(CH(2))(2)- or -(CH(2))(3)- chain between the two iminic nitrogen atoms, have afforded the following M(II)Cu(II) complexes: [CoCu(L(2;2))](ClO(4))(2).MeCN (1A), [NiCu(L(2;2))](ClO(4))(2) (2A), [ZnCu(L(2;2))](ClO(4))(2).0.5MeCN.EtOH (3A), [CoCu(L(2;3))(MeCN)(2-PrOH)](ClO(4))(2) (4A), [NiCu(L(2;3))](ClO(4))(2) (5A), and [ZnCu(L(2;3))](ClO(4))(2).1.5DMF (6A). [CoCu(L(2;2))(MeCN)(3)](ClO(4))(2) (1A') crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/n, a = 11.691(2) A, b = 18.572(3) A, c = 17.058(3) A, beta= 91.18(2) degrees, V = 3703(1) A(3), and Z = 4. [NiCu(L(2;2))(DMF)(2)](ClO(4))(2) (2A') crystallizes in the triclinic space group P(-)1, a = 11.260(2) A, b = 16.359(6) A, c = 10.853(4) A, alpha= 96.98(3) degrees, beta= 91.18(2) degrees, gamma= 75.20(2) degrees, V = 1917(1) A(3), and Z = 2. 4A crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c, a = 15.064(8) A, b = 11.434(5) A, c = 21.352(5) A, beta= 95.83(2)degrees, V = 3659(2) A(3), and Z = 4. The X-ray crystallographic results demonstrate the M(II) to reside in the N(amine)(2)O(2) site and the Cu(II) in the N(imine)(2)O(2) site. The complexes 1-6 are regarded to be isomeric with [CuCo(L(2;2)))](ClO(4))(2).DMF (1B), [CuNi(L(2;2)))](ClO(4))(2).DMF.MeOH (2B), [CuZn(L(2;2)))](ClO(4))(2).H(2)O (3B)), [CuCo(L(2;3)))](ClO(4))(2).2H(2)O (4B), [CuNi(L(2;3)))](ClO(4))(2) (5B), and [CuZn(L(2;3)))](ClO(4))(2).H(2)O (6B) reported previously, when we ignore exogenous donating and solvating molecules. The isomeric M(II)Cu(II) and Cu(II)M(II) complexes are differentiated by X-ray structural, magnetic, visible spectroscopic, and electrochemical studies. The two isomeric forms are significantly stabilized by the "macrocyclic effect" of the ligands, but 1A is converted into 1B on an electrode, and 2A is converted into 2B at elevated temperature.  相似文献

A homologous series of dinuclear compounds with the bridging ligand 2-(2-pyridyl)-1,8-naphthyridine (pynp) has been prepared and characterized by X-ray crystallographic and spectroscopic methods. [Mo(2)(O(2)CCH(3))(2)(pynp)(2)][BF(4)](2) x 3CH(3)CN (1) crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c with a = 15.134(5) A, b = 14.301(6) A, c = 19.990(6) A, beta = 108.06(2) degrees, V = 4113(3) A(3), and Z = 4. [Ru(2)(O(2)CCH(3))(2)(pynp)(2)][PF(6)](2) x 2CH(3)OH (2) crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2/c with a = 14.2228(7) A, b = 20.3204(9) A, c = 14.1022(7) A, beta = 95.144(1) degrees, V = 4059.3(3) A(3), and Z = 4. [Rh(2)(O(2)CCH(3))(2)(pynp)(2)][BF(4)](2) x C(7)H(8) (3) crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2/c with a = 13.409(2) A, b = 21.670(3) A, c = 13.726(2) A, beta = 94.865(2) degrees, V = 3973.9(8) A(3), and Z = 4. A minor product, [Rh(2)(O(2)CCH(3))(2)(pynp)(2)(CH(3)CN)(2)][BF(4)][PF(6)] x 2CH(3)CN (4), was isolated from the mother liquor after crystals of 3 had been harvested; this compound crystallizes in the triclinic space group, P1 with a = 12.535(3) A, b = 13.116(3) A, c = 13.785(3) A, alpha = 82.52(3) degrees, beta = 77.70(3) degrees, gamma = 85.76(3) degrees, V = 2193.0(8) A(3), and Z = 2. Compounds 1-3 constitute a convenient series for probing the influence of the electronic configuration on the extent of mixing of the M-M orbitals with the pi system of the pynp ligand. Single point energy calculations performed on 1-3 at the B3LYP level of theory lend insight into the bonding in these compounds and allow for correlations to be made with electronic spectral data. Although purely qualitative in nature, the values for normalized change in orbital energies (NCOE) of the frontier orbitals before and after reduction are in agreement with the observed differences in reduction potentials as determined by cyclic voltammetry.  相似文献

Two new vanadoselenites, [SeV(3)O(11)](3)(-) and [Se(2)V(2)O(10)](2)(-), were synthesized by reacting SeO(2) with VO(3)(-). Single-crystal X-ray structural analyses of [(n-C(4)H(9))(4)N](3)[SeV(3)O(11)].0.5H(2)O [orthorhombic, space group P2(1)2(1)2, a = 22.328(5) A, b = 44.099(9) A, c = 12.287(3) A, Z = 8] and [[(C(6)H(5))(3)P](2)N](2)[Se(2)V(2)O(10)] [monoclinic, space group P2(1)/n, a = 12.2931(3) A, b = 13.5101(3) A, c = 20.9793(5) A, beta = 106.307(1) degrees, Z = 2] revealed that both anions are composed of Se(x)()V(4)(-)(x)()O(4) rings. The (51)V, (77)Se, and (17)O NMR spectra established that both [SeV(3)O(11)](3)(-) and [Se(2)V(2)O(10)](2)(-) anions maintain this ring structure in solution.  相似文献

Photolysis of a series of octahedral monoazido complexes of the type [LM(III)(didentate ligand)(N(3))](n)(+)X(n) of vanadium(III), chromium(III), and manganese(III) in the solid state or in solution yields quantitatively the corresponding six-coordinate nitrido complexes [LM(V)(didentate ligand)(N)](n)(+)X(n) and 1 equiv of dinitrogen. L represents the macrocycle 1,4,7-triazacyclononane or its N-methylated derivative (L'), the didentate ligands are pentane-2,4-dionate (acac), 2,2,6,6-tetramethylheptane-3,5-dionate (tacac), picolinate (pic), phenanthroline (phen), and oxalate (ox), and X(-) represents perchlorate or hexafluorophosphate. The following nitrido complexes were prepared: [LV(V)(N)(acac)](ClO(4)) (6), [LCr(V)(N)(acac)](ClO(4)) (13), [LCr(V)(N)(tacac)](ClO(4)) (14), [LCr(V)(N)(pic)](ClO(4)) (15), [LCr(V)(N)(phen)](ClO(4))(2) (16), [LCr(V)(N)(ox)] (19), [L'Mn(V)(N)(acac)]PF(6) (21). Photolysis of [LCr(III)(N(3))(ox)] (17) in the solid state produces the &mgr;-nitrido-bridged mixed-valent species [L(2)Cr(2)(ox)(2)(&mgr;-N)](N(3)) (18). The structures of the precursor complex [L'Mn(acac)(N(3))]BPh(4) (20), of 13, and of [L'Mn(V)(N)(acac)]BPh(4) (21) have been determined by X-ray crystallography. Complex 13 crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pnma, with cell constants a = 27.187(5) ?, b = 9.228(2) ?, c = 7.070(1) ?, V = 1773.7(6) ?(3), and Z = 4; complex 20 crystallizes in the triclinic space group P&onemacr; with a = 14.769(5) ?, b = 16.83(1) ?, c = 16.96(1) ?, alpha = 108.19(5) degrees, beta = 105.06(4) degrees, gamma = 99.78(4) degrees, V = 3719(2) ?(3), and Z = 4; and complex 21 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/n with a = 10.443(3) ?, b = 16.035(4) ?, c = 21.463(5) ?, beta = 95.76(1) degrees, V = 3575.9(14) ?(3), and Z = 4. The Cr(V)&tbd1;N and Mn(V)&tbd1;N distances are short at 1.575(9) and 1.518(4) ?, respectively, and indicate a metal-to-nitrogen triple bond.  相似文献

A series of [3 x 3] Mn(II)(9), antiferromagnetically coupled, alkoxide-bridged, square grid complexes, derived from a group of "tritopic" dihydrazide ligands, is described. The outer ring of eight Mn(II) centers in the grids is isolated magnetically from the central Mn(II) ion, leading to an S = 0 ground state for the ring, and an S = 5/2 ground state overall in each case. Exchange in the Mn(II)(8) ring can be represented by a 1D chain exchange model. Rich electrochemistry displayed by these systems has led to the production of Mn(II)/Mn(III) mixed-oxidation-state grids by both electrochemical and chemical means. Structures are reported for [Mn(9)(2poap)(6)](C(2)N(3))(6).10H(2)O (1), [Mn(9)(2poap)(6)](2)[Mn(NCS)(4)(H(2)O)](2)(NCS)(8).10H(2)O (2), [Mn(9)(2poapz)(6)](NO(3))(6).14.5H(2)O (3), [Mn(9)(2popp)(6)](NO(3))(6).12H(2)O (4), [Mn(9)(2pomp)(6)](MnCl(4))(2)Cl(2).2CH(3)OH.7H(2)O (5), and [Mn(9)(Cl2poap)(6)](ClO(4))(9).7H(2)O (6). Compound 1 crystallized in the tetragonal system, space group P4(2)/n, with a = 21.568(1) A, c = 16.275(1) A, and Z = 2. Compound 2 crystallized in the triclinic system, space group P, with a = 25.043(1) A, b = 27.413(1) A, c = 27.538(2) A, alpha = 91.586(2) degrees, beta = 113.9200(9) degrees, gamma = 111.9470(8) degrees, and Z = 2. Compound 4 crystallized in the tetragonal system, space group P4(1)2(1)2, with a = 20.279(1) A, c = 54.873(6) A, and Z = 4. Compound 5 crystallized in the tetragonal system, space group I, with a = 18.2700(2) A, c = 26.753(2) A, and Z = 2. Compound 6 crystallized in the triclinic system, space group P, with a = 19.044(2) A, b = 19.457(2) A, c = 23.978(3) A, alpha = 84.518(3) degrees, beta = 81.227(3) degrees, gamma = 60.954(2) degrees, and Z = 2. The syntheses, structural characterization, and magnetic behavior of five new 2D manganese(II) complexes with empirical formulas [Mn(N(3))(2)(2,6-DiMepyz)(H(2)O)](n)() (1), [Mn(N(3))(2)(Etpyz)(H(2)O)](n)() (2), [Mn(N(3))(2)(H(2)O)(2)](n)()(2,3-DiMepyz)(n)() (3), [Mn(N(3))(2)(Clpyz)(2)](n)() (4), and [Mn(N(3))(2)(Ipyz)(2)](n)() (5) (pyz = pyrazine (1,4-diazine)) are reported. 1 crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group P2(1)/c, with unit cell parameters a = 7.513(4) A, b = 17.438(7) A, c = 8.404(4) A, beta = 94.53(4) degrees , and Z = 4. 2 crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group P, with unit cell parameters a = 7.386(2) A, b = 8.434(2) A, c = 9.442(3) A, alpha = 71.82(2) degrees , beta = 72.08(2) degrees , gamma = 88.54(2) degrees , and Z = 2. 3 crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group C2/c, with unit cell parameters a = 20.438(7) A, b = 7.711(2) A, c = 7.457(2) A, beta = 93.76(3) degrees , and Z = 4. 4 crystallizes in the orthorhombic system, space group Pbca, with unit cell parameters a = 8.600(2) A, b = 13.440(4) A, c = 24.083(7) A, and Z = 8. 5 crystallizes in the orthorhombic system, space group Pbca, with unit cell parameters a = 8.521(2) A, b = 13.787(3) A, c = 26.237(5) A, and Z = 8. The compounds 1-5 have only azido bridging ligands. In 1-3 each manganese atom is linked to the four nearest neighbors by only end-to-end azido bridges, forming square layers. 4 and 5 show alternating end-to-end and end-on azido bridges between manganese atoms. The magnetic properties of 1-5 are reported. At high temperatures the plots of chi(M) or chi(M)T vs T for the 1-3 compounds can be fitted as homogeneous 2D systems with J = -4.9, -4.4, and -3.9 cm(-)(1) for 1-3, respectively. For 1, 3, and 5 magnetic ordering and spontaneous magnetizations is achieved below T(c) = 35, 29, and 22 K, respectively, whereas 2 and 4 do not show spontaneous magnetization up to 2 K.  相似文献

The Schiff base ligands 1,4-bis(4-pyridyl)-2,3-diaza-1,3-butadiene (L1, monoclinic, P2(1)/c, a = 3.856(1) A, b = 11.032(2) A, c = 12.738(3) A, beta = 92.21(3) degrees, Z = 2) and 2,5-bis(4-pyridyl)-3,4-diaza-2,4-hexadiene (L2, monoclinic, P2(1)/c, a = 10.885(2) A, b = 4.613(1) A, c = 14.978(3) A, beta = 92.827(4) degrees, Z = 2) were used in the synthesis of four new organic-inorganic coordination polymers, each of them adopting a different structural motif. Synthesis, X-ray structural determinations, and spectroscopic and thermogravimetric analyses are presented. The reaction between Co(NO(3))(2).6H(2)O and L1 afforded a two-dimensional noninterpenetrating brick-wall structure, [Co(C(12)N(4)H(10))(1.5)(NO(3))(2)(H(2)O)(CH(2)Cl(2))(2)](n)() (1, triclinic, P1; a = 10.242(7) A, b = 10.802(7) A, c = 15.100(1) A, alpha = 70.031(1), beta = 75.168(11), gamma = 76.155(11), Z = 2), while Ni(NO(3))(2).6H(2)O combined with L1 yielded an interpenetrating three-dimensional rhombus-grid polymer, [Ni(C(12)N(4)H(10))(2)(NO(3))(2)(OC(4)H(8))(1.66)(H(2)O)(0.33)](n) (2, monoclinic, C2/c; a = 20.815(8) A, b = 23.427(8) A, c = 17.291(6) A, beta = 116.148(6), Z = 8). The reaction of Co(NO(3))(2).6H(2)O and L2 was found to be solvent-sensitive and resulted in the formation of two different noninterpenetrating compounds: [Co(C(14)N(4)H(14))(2)(NO(3))(2)(C(6)H(6))(1.5)](n)() (3, monoclinic, C2/c; a = 22.760(2) A, b = 21.010(3) A, c = 25.521(2) A, beta = 97.151(2), Z = 8), which adopts a two-dimensional square-grid motif formed by propeller-type modules, and [Co(C(14)N(4)H(14))(1.5)(NO(3))(2)(CH(2)Cl(2))(2)](n)() (4, monoclinic, P2(1)/n; a = 14.432(2) A, b = 14.543(8) A, c = 15.448(4) A, beta = 96.968(0), Z = 4), consisting of T-shaped building blocks assembled into a one-dimensional ladder-type structure. These four coordination polymers all exhibit impressive thermal stability. Thermogravimetric studies showed that after complete removal of the solvents, the frameworks are stable to temperatures between 234 degrees C and 260 degrees C.  相似文献

A series of trigonal bipyramidal pentanuclear complexes involving the alkoxo-diazine ligands poap and p3oap, containing the M(5)[mu-O](6) core is described, which form by a strict self-assembly process. [Co(5)(poap-H)(6)](ClO(4))(4).3H(2)O (1), [Mn(5)(poap-H)(6)](ClO(4))(4).3.5CH(3)OH.H(2)O (2), [Mn(5)(p3oap-H)(6)](ClO(4))(4).CH(3)CH(2)OH.3H(2)O (3), and [Zn(5)(poap-H)(6)](ClO(4))(4).2.5H(2)O (4) are homoleptic pentanuclear complexes, where there is an exact match between the coordination requirements of the five metal ions in the cluster, and the available coordination pockets in the polytopic ligand. [Zn(4)(poap)(poap-H)(3)(H(2)O)(4)] (NO(3))(5).1.5H(2)O (5) is a square [2 x 2] grid with a Zn(4)[mu-O](4) core, and appears to result from the presence of NO(3), which is thought to be a competing ligand in the self-assembly. X-ray structures are reported for 1, 4, and 5. 1 crystallized in the monoclinic system, space group P2(1)/n with a = 13.385(1) A, b = 25.797(2) A, c = 28.513(3) A, beta = 98.704(2) degrees, and Z = 4. 4 crystallized in the triclinic system, space group P1 with a = 13.0897(9) A, b = 18.889(1) A, c = 20.506(2) A, alpha = 87.116(1) degrees, beta = 74.280(2) degrees, gamma = 75.809(2) degrees, and Z = 2. 5 crystallized in the monoclinic system, space group P2(1)/n with a = 14.8222(7) A, b = 21.408(1) A, c = 21.6197(9) A, beta = 90.698(1) degrees, and Z = 4. cis-[Ru(NO)Cl(pyca)(2)] (pyca = 2-pyridinecarboxylato), in which the two pyridyl nitrogen atoms of the two pyca ligands coordinate at the trans position to each other and the two carboxylic oxygen atoms at the trans position to the nitrosyl ligand and the chloro ligand, respectively (type I shown as in Chart 1), reacted with NaOCH(3) to generate cis-[Ru(NO)(OCH(3))(pyca)(2)] (type I). The geometry of this complex was confirmed to be the same as the starting complex by X-ray crystallography: C(13.5)H(13)N(3)O(6.5)Ru; monoclinic, P2(1)/n; a = 8.120(1), b = 16.650(1), c = 11.510(1) A; beta = 99.07(1) degrees; V = 1536.7(2) A(3); Z = 4. The cis-trans geometrical change reaction occurred in the reactions of cis-[Ru(NO)(OCH(3))(pyca)(2)] (type I) in water and alcohol (ROH, R = CH(3), C(2)H(5)) to form [[trans-Ru(NO)(pyca)(2)](2)(H(3)O(2))](+) (type V) and trans-[Ru(NO)(OR)(pyca)(2)] (type V). The reactions of the trans-form complexes, trans-[Ru(NO)(H(2)O)(pyca)(2)](+) (type V) and trans-[Ru(NO)(OCH(3))(pyca)(2)] (type V), with Cl(-) in hydrochloric acid solution afforded the cis-form complex, cis-[Ru(NO)Cl(pyca)(2)] (type I). The favorable geometry of [Ru(NO)X(pyca)(2)](n)(+) depended on the nature of the coexisting ligand X. This conclusion was confirmed by theoretical, synthetic, and structural studies. The mono-pyca-containing nitrosylruthenium complex (C(2)H(5))(4)N[Ru(NO)Cl(3)(pyca)] was synthesized by the reaction of [Ru(NO)Cl(5)](2)(-) with Hpyca and characterized by X-ray structural analysis: C(14)H(24)N(3)O(3)Cl(3)Ru; triclinic, Ponemacr;, a = 7.631(1), b = 9.669(1), c = 13.627(1) A; alpha = 83.05(2), beta = 82.23(1), gamma = 81.94(1) degrees; V = 981.1(1) A(3); Z = 2. The type II complex of cis-[Ru(NO)Cl(pyca)(2)] was synthesized by the reaction of [Ru(NO)Cl(3)(pyca)](-) or [Ru(NO)Cl(5)](2)(-) with Hpyca and isolated by column chromatography. The structure was determined by X-ray structural analysis: C(12)H(8)N(3)O(5)ClRu; monoclinic, P2(1)/n; a = 10.010(1), b = 13.280(1), c = 11.335(1) A; beta = 113.45(1) degrees; V = 1382.4(2) A(3); Z = 4.  相似文献

A series of novel organically templated metal sulfates, [C(5)H(14)N(2)][M(II)(H(2)O)(6)](SO(4))(2) with (M(II) = Mn (1), Fe (2), Co (3) and Ni (4)), have been successfully synthesized by slow evaporation and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction as well as with infrared spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis and magnetic measurements. All compounds were prepared using a racemic source of the 2-methylpiperazine and they crystallized in the monoclinic systems, P2(1)/n for (1, 3) and P2(1)/c for (2,4). Crystal data are as follows: [C(5)H(14)N(2)][Mn(H(2)O)(6)](SO(4))(2), a = 6.6385(10) ?, b = 11.0448(2) ?, c = 12.6418(2) ?, β = 101.903(10)°, V = 906.98(3) ?(3), Z = 2; [C(5)H(14)N(2)][Fe(H(2)O)(6)](SO(4))(2), a = 10.9273(2) ?, b = 7.8620(10) ?, c = 11.7845(3) ?, β = 116.733(10)°, V = 904.20(3) ?(3), Z = 2; [C(5)H(14)N(2)][Co(H(2)O)(6)](SO(4))(2), a = 6.5710(2) ?, b = 10.9078(3) ?, c = 12.5518(3) ?, β = 101.547(2)°, V = 881.44(4) ?(3), Z = 2; [C(5)H(14)N(2)][Ni(H(2)O)(6)](SO(4))(2), a = 10.8328(2) ?, b = 7.8443(10) ?, c = 11.6790(2) ?, β = 116.826(10)°, V = 885.63(2) ?(3), Z = 2. The three-dimensional structure networks for these compounds consist of isolated [M(II)(H(2)O)(6)](2+) and [C(5)H(14)N(2)](2+) cations and (SO(4))(2-) anions linked by hydrogen-bonds only. The use of racemic 2-methylpiperazine results in crystallographic disorder of the amines and creation of inversion centers. The magnetic measurements indicate that the Mn complex (1) is paramagnetic, while compounds 2, 3 and 4, (M(II) = Fe, Co, Ni respectively) exhibit single ion anisotropy.  相似文献

The one-electron oxidized linear pentanuclear nickel complexes [Ni(5)(tpda)(4)(H(2)O)(BF(4))](BF(4))(2) (1) and [Ni(5)(tpda)(4)(SO(3)CF(3))(2)](SO(3)CF(3)) (2) have been synthesized by reacting the neutral compound [Ni(5)(tpda)(4)Cl(2)] with the corresponding silver salts. These compounds have been characterized by various spectroscopic techniques. Compound 1 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/n with a = 15.3022(1) A, b = 31.0705(3) A, c = 15.8109(2) A, beta = 92.2425(4) degrees, V = 7511.49(13) A(3), Z = 4, and compound 2 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2/c with a = 42.1894(7) A, b = 17.0770(3) A, c = 21.2117(4) A, beta = 102.5688(8) degrees, V = 14916.1(5) A(3), Z = 8. X-ray structural studies reveal an unsymmetrical Ni(5) unit for both compounds 1 and 2. Compounds 1 and 2 show stronger Ni-Ni interactions as compared to those of the neutral compounds.  相似文献

Hexarhenium(III) complexes with terminal isothiocyanate ligands, [(n-C(4)H(9))(4)N](4)[Re(6)(mu(3)-S)(8)(NCS)(6)] (1) and (L)(4)[Re(6)(mu(3)-Se)(8)(NCS)(6)] (L(+) = PPN(+) (2a), (n-C(4)H(9))(4)N(+) (2b)), have been prepared by three different methods. Complex 1 was prepared by the reaction of [(n-C(4)H(9))(4)N](4)[Re(6)(mu(3)-S)(8)Cl(6)] with molten KSCN at 200 degrees C, while 2b was obtained by refluxing the chlorobenzene-DMF (2:1 v/v) solution of [Re(6)(mu(3)-Se)(8)(CH(3)CN)(6)](SbF(6))(2) and [(n-C(4)H(9))(4)N]SCN. The [Re(6)(mu(3)-Se)(8)(NCS)(6)](4)(-) anion was also obtained from a mixture of Cs(2)[Re(6)(mu(3)-Se)(8)Br(4)] and KSCN in C(2)H(5)OH by a mechanochemical activation at room temperature for 20 h and isolated as 2a. The X-ray structures of 1 and 2a.4DMF have been determined (1, C(70)H(144)N(10)S(14)Re(6), monoclinic, space group P2(1)/n (No. 14), a = 14.464(7) A, b = 22.059(6) A, c = 16.642(8) A, beta = 113.62(3) degrees, V = 4864(3) A(3), Z = 2; 2a.4DMF, C(162)H(144)N(14)O(4)P(8)S(6)Se(8)Re(6), triclinic, space group P1 (No. 2), a = 15.263(2) A, b = 16.429(2) A, c = 17.111(3) A, alpha = 84.07(1) degrees, beta = 84.95(1) degrees, gamma = 74.21(1) degrees, V = 4098.3(8) A(3), Z = 1). All the NCS(-) ligands in both complexes are coordinated to the metal center via nitrogen site with the Re-N distances in the range of 2.07-2.13 A. The redox potentials of the reversible Re(III)(6)/Re(III)(5)Re(IV) process in acetonitrile are +0.84 and +0.70 V vs. Ag/AgCl for [Re(6)(mu(3)-S)(8)(NCS)(6)](4)(-) and [Re(6)(mu(3)-Se)(8)(NCS)(6)](4)(-), respectively, which are the most positive among the known hexarhenium complexes with six terminal anionic ligands. The complexes show strong red luminescence with the emission maxima (lambda(max)/nm), lifetimes (tau(em)/micros), and quantum yields (phi(em)) being 745 and 715, 10.4 and 11.8, and 0.091 and 0.15 for 1 and 2b, respectively, in acetonitrile. The data reasonably well fit in the energy-gap plots of other hexarhenium(III) complexes. The temperature dependence of the emission spectra and tau(em) of 1 and [(n-C(4)H(9))(4)N](4)[Re(6)(mu(3)-S)(8)Cl(6)] are also reported.  相似文献
