Using 383 x 10(6) BBover pairs from the BABAR data sample, we report results for branching fractions of six charged B-meson decay modes, where a charged kaon recoils against a charmless resonance decaying to KKover* or etapipi final states with mass in the range (1.2-1.8) GeV/c2. We observe a significant enhancement at the low KKover* invariant mass which is interpreted as B+-->eta(1475)K+, find evidence for the decay B+-->eta(1295)K+, and place upper limits on the decays B+-->eta(1405)K+, B+-->f1(1285)K+, B+-->f1(1420)K+, and B+-->phi(1680)K+.  相似文献

We study a vector-dominance model which predicts quite a large number of currently interesting decay amplitudes of the types S-->gammagamma, V-->Sgamma, and S-->Vgamma, where S and V denote scalar and vector mesons, in terms of three parameters. As an application, the model makes it easy to study in detail a recent proposal to boost the ratio Gamma(phi-->f(0)gamma)/Gamma(phi-->a(0)(0)gamma) by including the isospin violating a(0)(0)-f(0) mixing. However, we find that this effect is actually small in our model.  相似文献

The Michel parameters of the leptonic decays are measured using the OPAL detector at LEP. The parameters , , (with ) and are extracted from the energy spectra of the charged decay leptons and from their energy–energy correlations. A new method involving a global likelihood fit of Monte Carlo generated events with complete detector simulation and background treatment has been applied to the data recorded at center-of-mass energies close to corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 155 pb. If e- universality is assumed and inferring the polarization from neutral current data, the measured Michel parameters are: where the value of has been constrained using the published OPAL measurements of the leptonic branching ratios and the lifetime. Limits on non-standard coupling constants and on the masses of new gauge bosons are obtained. The results are in agreement with the V–A prediction of the Standard Model. The new data on the electromagnetic decays of “light” mesons are analyzed. Special attention is paid to rare electromagnetic leptonic decays of the type ABl+l? and to ways of using these processes for extracting information on the transition form factors of neutral mesons. Data on electromagnetic lepton processes of higher order, such as Pl+l? and P′ → Pl+l?, are also analyzed and we discuss present prospects for such investigations.  相似文献

The differential cross section for eta photoproductions has been measured for incident photon energies of 4 and 8 GeV and momentum tranfers −t = 0.3 to 0.8 (GeV/c)2.  相似文献

Eta photo- and electroproduction off the nucleon is investigated in an effective lagrangian approach that contains Born terms and both vector meson and nucleon resonance contributions. In particular, we review and develop the formalism for coincidence experiments with polarization degrees of freedom. The different response functions appearing in single and double polarization experiments have been studied. We will present calculations for structure functions and kinematical conditions that are most sensitive to details of the lagrangian, in particular with regard to contributions of nucleon resonances beyond the dominantS 11(1535) resonance. This work has been supported by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (SFB 201)  相似文献

We search for pair production of doubly charged Higgs particles (H+/- +/-) followed by decays into electron-tau (etau) and muon-tau (mutau) pairs using data (350 pb(-1) collected from [over]pp collisions at sqrt[s]=1.96 TeV by the CDF II experiment. We search separately for cases where three or four final-state leptons are detected, and combine results for exclusive decays to left-handed etau (mutau) pairs. We set an H+/- +/- lower mass limit of 114(112) GeV/c(2) at the 95% confidence level.  相似文献

The amplitudes for two-body Cabibbo allowed nonleptonic decays ofD mesons are evaluated within the factorization approximation from the effective Hamiltonian including short distance QCD corrections to next-to-leading order. Annihilation andW-exchange contributions as well as final state interaction effects have been included and are in fact crucial to obtain agreement with the experimental data.  相似文献
