Lines are induced on the surface of a photosensitive (FOTURAN) glass by focused femtosecond laser transverse writing with scanning velocity in a wide range of 40- 1800μm/s. The formed lines are analyzed using scanning electron microscope (SEM) and optical microscope (OM). It is observed that three distinct morphologies of lines are produced depending on the scanning velocity. Lines written in low velocity level (40 - 100 μm/s) and high velocity level (1000 - 1800 μm/s) are uniform and regular, while those written in moderate velocity level (150 - 600 μm/s) are rough. The influence of scanning velocity is explained based on different pulses overlapping or cumulative dose of laser exposure in irradiated area. Fabrication of shallow groove on the surface is also demonstrated.  相似文献

Parallel optical coherence tomography is demonstrated using a 12-bit scientific-grade charge-coupled device array.A superluminescent diode in combination with a free-space Michelson interferometer was employed to achieve 10-μm axial resolution and 1.1-μm transverse resolution on a 902×575 μm2 field of view.We imaged a test mirror and bovine retinal tissue using a four-step phase shift method.  相似文献

In this paper the J/ψ→μ+μ- reconstruction performance in the CMS experiment at the LHC is studied in detail by using B5→ J/ψψ →μμКК events. The reconstruction efficiencies of J/ψ mesons and their decay muons are obtained as a function of the transverse momentum PT and the pseudo-rapidity η. We also study the muon trigger efficiency for this channel with the planned Level-1 trigger and High Level Trigger selection criteria. It was observed that the muon reconstruction efficiency decreases when the two decay muons have a small or large 3D angular separation, which further affects the overall J/ψ reconstruction efficiency.  相似文献

Surface acoustic wave (SAW) waveguide resonator is formed by a ring-shaped strip of copper 10 μm wide and ∼130 μm in diameter embedded into a 0.8 μm thick layer of silica on a silicon wafer. SAWs are excited at one side of the copper ring by a short laser pulse focused into a spatially periodic pattern and detected via diffraction of the probe laser beam overlapped with the excitation spot. SAW wavepackets with central frequency 460 MHz travel around the ring and are detected each time they make a full circle and pass trough the probe spot. Potential applications of ring resonators for SAWs are discussed.  相似文献

This paper presents a set of formulae for estimating the light spot position projected on a quadrant detector (QD). A novel method of annular segmentation calculus (ASC) is designed to analyze the detecting light spot of QD. The influences of the spot movement mode, spot energy distribution, and dead area to the dynamic range and the detection sensitivity are analyzed. It is shown in simulations that our new formulae have achieved a much better results to increase measurement accuracy. It is also shown that on the condition of the same spot size, the detection sensitivity of Gaussian distribution is prior to uniform distribution. The detection sensitivity of diagonal mode is better than cross mode. The detection sensitivity increases with increase in the size ratio of dead area to spot. The simulating and experimental results show that the measuring range of QD is 400 μm, and the resolution is 50 μm. The study presented here will be beneficial in developing the nanomechanical displacement detection techniques.  相似文献

We report on selective polarization mode excitation in InGaAs/GaAs rolled-up microtubes. The microtubes are fabricated by selectively releasing a coherently strained InGaAs/GaAs quantum dot layer from its host GaAs substrate. An optical fiber abrupt taper is used to pick up the microtube, while an adiabatically tapered optical fiber is used to couple light into the resonant optical modes of the microtube. By varying the polarization of the light in the adiabatically tapered fiber both transverse electric and transverse magnetic modes are observed in the microtube. We also show that the microtube can be used as a red (0.6?μm) to infrared light (1.5?μm) optical-optical modulator taking advantage of the thermal-optical effect.  相似文献

The transverse dynamics of a 28.5-GeV electron beam propagating in a 1.4 m long, (0-2)x10(14) cm(-3) plasma are studied experimentally in the underdense or blowout regime. The transverse component of the wake field excited by the short electron bunch focuses the bunch, which experiences multiple betatron oscillations as the plasma density is increased. The spot-size variations are observed using optical transition radiation and Cherenkov radiation. In this regime, the behavior of the spot size as a function of the plasma density is well described by a simple beam-envelope model. Dynamic changes of the beam envelope are observed by time resolving the Cherenkov light.  相似文献

基于对恒星星表V/50的统计,在确保一定捕获概率的前提下,确定了星敏感器光学系统的视场角和所能探测的极限星等,在此基础上,结合所选用的STAR-250CMOS探测器的性能,在保证一定信噪比的前提下,确定了光学系统的通光孔径、焦距、工作光谱范围和中心波长、弥散元大小等主要参数。以改进双高斯型结构为初始结构,在ZE-MAX平台上实现了具有良好像质的大孔径(F/1.198)、大视场(22.6°)、宽光谱范围(0.5μm~0.8μm)的光学系统的设计,满足了对弥散斑、能量集中度等的特殊要求。  相似文献

 基于一维应力松弛模型和粘弹性本构关系,对1.06μm连续激光照射下K9玻璃板中的温升和应力作了计算,结果表明,由于应力松弛效应,激光停照后的冷却过程中产生的残余拉伸应力可达到玻璃的拉伸断裂强度阈值,而激光加热期间的最大压缩应力却小于压缩断裂强度要求。对3mm厚的K9玻璃板,由应力松弛引起破坏所要求的激光参数为946kWm-2作用0.2s,因而应力松弛可能为1.06 μm连续激光大光斑照射下K9玻璃窗口损伤的主要模式。  相似文献

Angular distributions of electrons intersecting 40- and 120-μm aluminum foils and a 60-μm copper foil have been measured. Electrons have been injected from a microtron with a particle energy of 7.4 MeV. The effect of the material and thickness of a foil, as well as of the direction of injection, on the spatial distribution of passed particles has been analyzed. The measurements have shown that the intersection of the foil at small angles to its surface not only increases the transverse dimensions of the beam but also changes the direction of its motion.  相似文献

利用0.5 mm间隙微通道板成像器观测了微弧放电的斑点级联效应.实验发现,微弧阴极斑点的运动轨迹呈多类型的折线轨迹,斑点间隙在200—300 μm,首发射阴极斑点的放电强度比次级斑点高一个量级以上,而且次级斑点之间的放电强度相对稳定,次级斑点在放电阴极表面无融蚀现象.实验表明,次级斑点产生机制与首发射存在较强的依赖关系. 关键词: 阴极斑点 微弧级联 微通道板成像器  相似文献

In this paper, a new current expression based on both the direct currect(DC) characteristics of the AlGaN/GaN high election mobility transistor(HEMT) and the hyperbolic tangent function tanh is proposed, by which we can describe the kink effect of the AlGaN/GaN HEMT well. Then, an improved EEHEMT model including the proposed current expression is presented. The simulated and measured results of I–V, S-parameter, and radio frequency(RF) large-signal characteristics are compared for a self-developed on-wafer AlGaN/GaN HEMT with ten gate fingers each being 0.4-μm long and 125-μm wide(Such an AlGaN/GaN HEMT is denoted as AlGaN/GaN HEMT(10 × 125 μm)). The improved large signal model simulates the I–V characteristic much more accurately than the original one, and its transconductance and RF characteristics are also in excellent agreement with the measured data.  相似文献

Polysilicon films deposited by low-pressure chemical vapor deposition(LPCVD)exhibit large residual stress and stress gradient,depending on the deposition condition.An in situ growth method based on multilayer concept is presented to control the property for as-deposited polysilicon.A 3-μm thick polysilicon film with nine layers structure is demonstrated under the detailed analysis of multi-layer theory and material characteristic of polysilicon.The results show that a 3-μm-thick polysilicon film with 8-MPa overall residual tensile stress and 2.125-MPa/μm stress gradient through the film thickness is fabricated successfully.  相似文献

分析了连续激光辐照ZnSe/MgF2/K9滤光片引起透射特性的变化。在室温条件下,用波长0.632 8μm激光作为探测光束,测量了1.06μm连续激光辐照ZnSe/MgF2/K9滤光片温升引起薄膜折射率的改变,导致探测光束通过干涉滤光片后透过率的热致非线性变化。在光斑直径0.75mm条件下,测量了不同功率激光辐照ZnSe/MgF2/K9滤光片引起温升随时间的变化。在激光功率30W,辐照时间2.52s条件下,实验观测到ZnSe/MgF2/K9滤光片薄膜破坏温度约为90℃,辐照时间10s时干涉滤光片形成的薄膜龟裂形貌。  相似文献

The dispersion relations of parallel propagating modes(Langmuir mode, right and left handed circular polarized waves) in the weak magnetic field limit |ω-k·v| ? are considered for ultra-relativistic arbitrary degenerate electron plasma. The results are presented in terms of moments of Fermi-Dirac distribution. The increase in the electron equilibrium number density from negative large(weakly degenerate) to positive large(highly degenerate) values of μ/T_e is observed(where μ is the electron chemical potential and T_e is the electron thermal energy). As a result, shifting of the cutoff points in all the real dispersion branches towards the higher values and increasing in the band gap between unmagnetized longitudinal and transverse modes in k-space are examined. Also, the suppression of the weak magnetic field effects in weakly magnetized right handed and left handed circular polarized waves and a decrease in the longitudinal and transverse screening effects are observed in the graphical patterns due to an increase in the equilibrium number density.  相似文献

For the first time, to the best of authors’ knowledge, a no-moving-parts axial scanning confocal microscope (ASCM) system is designed and demonstrated using a combination of a large diameter liquid crystal (LC) lens and a classical microscope objective lens. By electrically controlling the 5 mm diameter LC lens, the 633 nm wavelength focal spot is moved continuously over a 48 μm range with a measured 3-dB axial resolution of 3.1 μm using a 0.65 numerical aperture (NA) micro-objective lens. The ASCM is successfully used to image an Indium Phosphide (InP) twin square optical waveguide sample with a 10.2 μm waveguide pitch and 2.3 μm height and width. Using fine analog electrical control of the LC lens, a super-fine sub-wavelength axial resolution of 270 nm is demonstrated. The proposed ASCM can be useful in various precision three-dimensional (3D) imaging and profiling applications.  相似文献

Square microcavity laser with an output waveguide is proposed and analyzed by the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) technique. For a square resonator with refractive index of 3.2, side length of 4 μm, and output waveguide of 0.4-μm width, we have got the quality factors (Q factors) of 6.7 × 102 and 7.3 × 103 for the fundamental and first-order transverse magnetic (TM) mode near the wavelength of 1.5 μm, respectively. The simulated intensity distribution for the first-order TM mode shows that the coupling efficiency in the waveguide reaches 53%. The numerical simulation shows that the first-order transverse modes have fairly high Q factor and high coupling efficiency to the output waveguide. Therefore the square resonator with an output waveguide is a promising candidate to realize single-mode directional emission microcavity lasers.  相似文献
