 根据拍摄1.06 μm长脉冲钕玻璃激光与LY12铝靶耦合产生蒸汽羽的干涉分幅照片,测出在t<50 μs空气冲击波速度约为473 m/s而蒸汽羽阵面扩散速度约为162 m/s。运用蒸汽羽等离子体的有关热力学特性方程组,得到蒸汽羽等离子体的电子密度、电子温度、电离度和吸收系数的最大值分别为Ne≈3.1×1017 cm-1,T≈6 096 K,η≈0.014,α(1.06μm)≈0.03 cm-1的结果。  相似文献

应用高速纹影系统记录激光束辐照在Ly12铝靶时所产生的汽化羽扩张、空气爆炸波、熔融物质喷溅以及穿靶等现象.并由扫描摄影记录的轨迹图测出汽化羽的扩张速度为150~190m/s,空气冲击波速度为450~500m/s,靶表面高压蒸汽速度为5~7.8km/s。  相似文献

For the commercial application of pulsed power, material processing with intense pulsed particle beams is a very interesting subject. Recently, high-voltage (1-70 kV), low-pressure (1-100 Pa) transient hollow-cathode discharges turned out to be sources for pulsed intense electron beam generation suitable for this application. The remarkable parameters of these electron beams-beam currents of 50-1000 A (10-30% of the maximum discharge current) with a high energy component (mean energy of about 0.25-0.75 of maximum applied voltage) of 20-70% of the maximum beam current, power density up to 10 W/cm2, beam diameters of 0.1-3 mm, beam charge efficiency of 3-5%-captured the attention not only of the scientific community in the last decade. The electron beam is emitted during the early phases of the discharge, and only weak dependence of the high energetic peak of the beam current was found on the external capacity, which determine the development of the later high-current phases. However, the beam parameters depend on the breakdown voltage, gas pressure, and discharge geometry (including self-capacity). In this paper, the characteristics of the pulsed intense electron beams generated in two configurations-multigap pseudosparks and preionization-controlled open-ended hollow-cathode transient discharges (PCOHC)-are described. Such electron beams already were used successfully in a variety of pulsed power applications in material processing, deposition of superconducting (YBaCuO) and diamond-like thin films, microlithography, electron sources for accelerators, and intense point-like X-ray sources, and some preliminary experiments revealed new potential applications such as pumping of short-wavelength laser active media. A positron pulsing system for an intense positron beam generated by an electron linac is reported. The pulsing system generates an intense pulsed positron beam of variable energy and variable pulse period. The pulsed positron beam is used as a non-destructive probe for various material research. In this paper, we also discuss applications of the pulsed positron beam: positron lifetime spectroscopy, age-momentum correlation spectroscopy, positronium time-of-flight measurement, and positron annihilation-induced Auger electron spectroscopy with a time-of-flight technique.  相似文献

Approximate analytic expressions for calculating the electron density in both steady and unsteady plasmas produced by pulsed electron beams are derived and proved to agree well with numerical calculations. It is shown that the algorithm for calculating the parameters of a nonequilibrium plasma in the channel of an MHD plasma generator depends on the type of generator. The effect of the magnetic field strength on the electron density and electric conductivity of the air plasma produced by an electron beam in the channel of a Faraday MHD generator is investigated. The influence of the parameters of the flow and ionizer on the efficiency of an MHD generator with a nonequilibrium conductivity is analyzed.  相似文献

Experiments on the plasma-assisted decomposition of dilute concentrations of methylene chloride in atmospheric-pressure N2 and dry air streams by electron beam and pulsed corona processing are presented. This paper presents the first experimental evidence showing that the decomposition of methylene chloride in a non-thermal plasma at ambient gas temperature proceeds via reaction with nitrogen atoms. The decompositions is more efficient with energy deposition in electron beam generated plasmas because of the higher rate for electron-impact dissociation of N2. In dry air mixture, the decomposition of methylene chloride is degraded substantially because the nitrogen atoms are consumed in the production of nitrogen oxides. At higher gas temperatures (300°C), the decomposition of methylene chloride in dry air is shown to proceed via reaction with oxygen atoms. The main products of methylene chloride decomposition in dry air mixtures are CO, CO2, HCl, and probably Cl2.  相似文献

Scattering of the incident electron beam in the variable pressure scanning electron microscope (VPSEM) affects the ability to perform quantitative chemical measurements. However, the manner in which the sum of the elastic and inelastic scattering cross sections varies as a function of gas type and accelerating voltage in the VPSEM is not well understood. A dual Faraday cup was constructed to measure the scattered fraction of the primary beam as a function of gas pressure, working distance, and accelerating voltage in air, water vapor, and argon environments. Experimentally measured values of the scattering cross section agree with previous experimental work, and agree within a factor of two with those values calculated carefully from theory.  相似文献

The removal of nitrogen oxides from gas mixtures under the action of an ionizing microsecond pulsed electron beam is studied experimentally. Experiments were carried out with gas mixtures simulating flue gases of thermal power plants. The current density and pulse duration of the electron beam, as well as the concentrations of oxygen and the impurity to be removed, are shown to affect the cleaning characteristics. It is found that the nitrogen oxide conversion initiated by a pulsed electron beam cannot be described by models developed for steady-state electron beams.  相似文献

Gasdynamic parameters of a molecular beam formed by passing a pulsed beam of a neutral gasthrough a Knudsen cell filled with a fullerene vapor are studied experimentally. It is shown that this method canbe used to advantage in generating supersonic molecular beams of virtually any substances, which is of specialimportance for depositing epitaxial films and films of low-volatility materials.  相似文献

The remaining challenges, confronting high-power microwave (HPM) sources and pulsed power generators, stimulate the developments of robust relativistic electron beam sources. This paper presents a carbon fibre cathode which is tested in a single pulsed power generator. The distribution and the development of cathode plasma are observed by time-and-space resolved diagnostics, and the uniformity of electron beam density is checked by taking x-ray images. A quasistationary behaviour of cathode plasma expansion is observed. It is found that the uniformity of the extracted electron beam is satisfactory in spite of individual plasma jets on the cathode surface. These results show that carbon fibre cathodes can provide a positive prospect for developing a high-quality electron beam.  相似文献

High-voltage hollow-cathode glow discharges are used more and more to generate intense, pulsed electron beams. Such intense electron beams can be produced with high efficiency in preionization-controlled open-ended hollow-cathode transient discharges (PCOHC). This novel discharge is initiated by a low-current dc preionization discharge. The beam parameters are similar to those of the electron beam generated in pseudospark discharges. In this work, we present some measurements of the parameters for the electron beam generated by using a multielectrode (multigap) system instead of the single-gap device in this PCOHC configuration. This kind of multielectrode device was already used in pseudosparks to improve the intensity and collimation of the extracted beam. By using the multigap instead of the single gap, the total beam current (100-120 A) and the energetic part of the beam current (peak current 60-90 A and electron energies higher than approximately 3 keV) were substantially increased. However, the energy spectrum of the fast component has a large fraction of electrons at lower energies (4-10 keV for 26 kV breakdown voltage) when a multigap device is used instead of the single-gap configuration. A comparison between the single-gap and multigap PCOHC-produced pulsed intense electron beam is made too. The differences between the high-power pulsed electron beams produced in single-gap and multigap PCOHC configurations seem to be due to different developments of beam generation phases  相似文献

The influence of water vapor content in high vacuum chamber during the coating process on physical properties of HfO2 films was investigated. Coatings were deposited on BK7 substrates by electron beam evaporation and photoelectric maximum control method. An in situ residual gas analyzer (RGA) was used to monitor the residual gas composition in the vacuum chamber. The optical properties, microstructure,absorption and laser-induced damage threshold (LIDT) of the samples were characterized by Lambda 900 spectrophotometer, X-ray diffraction (XRD), surface thermal lensing (STL) technique and 1064-nm Qswitched pulsed laser at a pulse duration of 12 ns respectively. It was found that a cold trap is an effective equipment to suppress water vapor in the vacuum chamber during the pumping process, and the coatings deposited in the vacuum atmosphere with relatively low water vapor composition show higher refractive index and smaller grain size. Meanwhile, the higher LIDT value is corresponding to lower absorbance.  相似文献

 介绍了为抑制“神龙一号”加速器束流束心螺旋运动而开展的强流电子束束心轨迹的调谐技术研究和实验结果。通过束质心轨迹校正调谐,使“神龙一号”输出束流脉冲50 ns平顶部分螺旋模的振幅由大于4 mm减小到小于1 mm。同时介绍了调谐原理和方法,相关的数值模拟结果与实验结果的比较以及正在进行中的计算机智能调谐研究。  相似文献

 强流脉冲电子束在材料中的能量沉积剖面、能量沉积系数和束流传输系数受其入射角的影响很大,理论计算了0.5~2.0MeV的电子束以不同的入射角在Al材料中的能量沉积剖面和能量沉积系数,并且还计算了0.4~1.4MeV电子束以不同入射角穿透不同厚度C靶的束流传输系数。计算结果表明,随着入射角的增大,靶材表面层单位质量中沉积的能量增大,电子在靶材料中穿透深度减小,能量沉积系数减小,相应的束流传输系数也减小;能量为0.5~2.0MeV的电子束当入射角在60°~70°时在材料表面层单位质量中沉积的能量较大。  相似文献

EPOS, the acronym of ELBE Positron Source, describes a running project to build an intense pulsed beam of mono-energetic positrons (0.2-40 keV) for materials research. Positrons will be created via pair production at a tungsten target using the pulsed 40 MeV electron beam of the superconducting linac electron linac with high brilliance and low emittance (ELBE) at Forschungszentrum Rossendorf (near Dresden, Germany). The chosen design of the system under construction is described and results of calculations simulating the interaction of the electron beam with the target are presented, and positron beam formation and transportation is also discussed.  相似文献

 在电子束泵浦气体激光实验中,大面积均匀电子束是获得高效能激光输出的必要条件。介绍了利用SPG-200脉冲功率源产生大面积均匀电子束的实验。SPG-200是基于SOS的全固态重复频率脉冲功率源,其开路电压大于350 kV。用于产生电子束的真空二极管阴极长294 mm,宽24 mm,两端均为半径为12 mm的半圆,栅网平面为阳极面,两者之间的距离在0~49 mm可调,阴极发射的电子束通过用于隔离激光气室和二极管真空室的压力膜及其支撑栅网引出。分别以石墨和天鹅绒为阴极材料,获得了大面积电子束输出,给出了二极管参数的测量结果,并对电子束发射均匀性进行了诊断。实验结果表明:在阴极材料为石墨、阴阳极间隙为5~9 mm时,二极管电压为240~280 kV,二极管电流为0.7~1.8 kA,输出的电子束很不均匀;在阴极材料为天鹅绒、阴阳极间隙为31~46 mm时,二极管电压为200~250 kV,二极管电流为1.5~1.7 kA,输出的电子束均匀性较好。  相似文献

Pulsed cathodoluminescence (PCL) of CeF3 crystals was studied using a KLAVI-type setup. PCL was excited by bombarding samples in air at room temperature using a 2-ns pulsed electron beam at an electron energy of 170 keV, current density of 160 A/cm2, and repetition rate of 2.5 Hz. Luminescence and phosphorescence were observed in the UV and visible spectral regions. The phosphorescence is tentatively associated with the Ce2+ ion formation.  相似文献

We propose a direct electron acceleration scheme that uses a two-color pulsed radially polarized laser beam. The two-color scheme achieves electron acceleration exceeding 90% of the theoretical energy gain limit, over twice of what is possible with a one-color pulsed beam of equal total energy and pulse duration. The scheme succeeds by exploiting the Gouy phase shift to cause an acceleration-favoring interference of fields only as the electron enters its effectively final accelerating cycle. Optimization conditions and power scaling characteristics are discussed.  相似文献
