We consider the Cauchy problem for the defocusing nonlinear Schrödinger (NLS) equation for finite density type initial data. Using the \({\overline{\partial}}\) generalization of the nonlinear steepest descent method of Deift and Zhou, we derive the leading order approximation to the solution of NLS for large times in the solitonic region of space–time, \({|x| < 2 t}\), and we provide bounds for the error which decay as \({ t \rightarrow \infty}\) for a general class of initial data whose difference from the non vanishing background possesses a fixed number of finite moments and derivatives. Using properties of the scattering map of NLS we derive, as a corollary, an asymptotic stability result for initial data that are sufficiently close to the N-dark soliton solutions of NLS.  相似文献

We prove new and explicit formulas for the wave operators of Schrödinger operators in \({\mathbb{R}^3}\). These formulas put into light the very special role played by the generator of dilations and validate the topological approach of Levinson’s theorem introduced in a previous publication. Our results hold for general (not spherically symmetric) potentials decaying fast enough at infinity, without any assumption on the absence of eigenvalue or resonance at 0-energy.  相似文献

We prove an Amitsur–Levitzki type theorem for the Lie superalgebras $\mathfrak{o}\mathfrak{s}\mathfrak{p}\left( {1,2n} \right)$ ) inspired by Kostant's cohomological interpretation of the classical theorem. We show that the Lie superalgebras $\mathfrak{g}\mathfrak{l}\left( {p,q} \right)$ cannot satisfy an Amitsur–Levitzki type super identity if pq≠0 and conjecture that neither can any other classical simple Lie superalgebra with the exception of $\mathfrak{o}\mathfrak{s}\mathfrak{p}\left( {1,2n} \right)$ .  相似文献

The solutions of the Schrdinger equation with quantum mechanical gravitational potential plus harmonic oscillator potential have been presented using the parametric Nikiforov–Uvarov method. The bound state energy eigen values and the corresponding un-normalized eigen functions are obtained in terms of Laguerre polynomials. Also a special case of the potential has been considered and its energy eigen values are obtained.  相似文献

An algorithm is proposed for studying the symmetry properties of equations used in theoretical and mathematical physics. The application of this algorithm to the free Schrödinger equation permits one to establish that, in addition to the known Galilei symmetry, the free Schrödinger equation possesses also relativistic symmetry in some generalized sense. This property of the free Schrödinger equation provides an extension of the equation into the relativistic domain of the free particle motion under study.  相似文献

In the first example containing a long ranged potential, the long range part of the solution is obtained by an iterative Born-series type method. The convergence is illustrated for a case with the long range part of the potential given by C 6/r 6. Accuracies of 1 : 108 are achieved after 8 iterations. The second example iteratively calculates the solution of a non-linear Gross–Pitaevskii equation for condensed Bose atoms contained in a trap at low temperature.  相似文献

We investigate the quasi-exact solutions of an analogous Schrödinger wave equation for two-dimensional non-Hermitian complex Hamiltonian systems within the framework of an extended complex phase space characterized by x = x 1 + ip 3, y = x 2 + ip 4, p x = p 1 + ix 3, p y = p 2 + ix 4. Explicit expressions for the energy eigenvalues and eigenfunctions for ground and first excited states of a two-dimensional $ \mathcal{P}\mathcal{T} $ -symmetric sextic potential and some of its variants are obtained. The eigenvalue spectra are found to be real within some parametric domains.  相似文献

Generalising the linearisation procedure used by Dirac and later by Lévy-Leblond, we derive the first-order non-relativistic wave equations for particles of spin 1 and spin 3/2 starting from the Schrödinger equation. By the introduction in the momentum of a correction linear in coordinates, we establish the wave equation of the radial harmonic oscillator with spin-orbit coupling.  相似文献

Vibrational spectrum of the ordered Pt(111)–( ?3 ×?3 ) \left( {\sqrt {3} \times \sqrt {3} } \right) R30°–K surface superstructure formed on the platinum surface with adsorption of 1/3 ML potassium is calculated with the use of the interatomic interaction potentials obtained in the strong bond approximation. Relaxation of the surface, dispersion of the surface phonons, local density of vibrational states, and polarization of phonon modes of adatoms and atoms of the substrate are discussed in the work. The theoretical results obtained agree well with the available experimental data.  相似文献

Few have done more than Martin Gutzwiller to clarify the connection between classical time-dependent motion and the time-independent states of quantum systems. Hence it seems appropriate to include the following discussion of the origins of the time-dependent Schrödinger equation in this volume dedicated to him.  相似文献

We set upsu q (2)-invariant Schrödinger equations within the usual framework of quantum mechanics. We show that the stationary equations reduce to radial ordinary differential equations by using the q-Spherical Harmonics. We apply these results to deformations of the free particle and of the hydrogen atom, for which we explicitly solve the equations and compare the deformed and undeformed theories.Presented at the 4th Colloquium Quantum Groups and Integrable Systems, Prague, 22–24 June 1995.  相似文献

We study the question of magnetic confinement of quantum particles on the unit disk \({\mathbb {D}}\) in \({\mathbb {R}^2}\) , i.e. we wish to achieve confinement solely by means of the growth of the magnetic field \({B(\vec x)}\) near the boundary of the disk. In the spinless case, we show that \({B(\vec x)\ge \frac{\sqrt 3}{2}\cdot\frac{1}{(1-r)^2}-\frac{1}{\sqrt 3}\frac{1}{(1-r)^2\ln \frac{1}{1-r}}}\) , for \({|\vec x|}\) close to 1, insures the confinement provided we assume that the non-radially symmetric part of the magnetic field is not very singular near the boundary. Both constants \({\frac{\sqrt 3}{2}}\) and \({-\frac{1}{\sqrt 3}}\) are optimal. This answers, in this context, an open question from Colin de Verdière and Truc (Ann Inst Fourier 2011, Preprint, arXiv:0903.0803v3). We also derive growth conditions for radially symmetric magnetic fields which lead to confinement of spin 1/2 particles.  相似文献

Abstract

The solution of the three-dimensional free Schrödinger equation due to W.M. Shtelen based on the invariance of this equation under the Lorentz Lie algebra so(1,3) of nonlocal transformations is considered. Various properties of this solution are examined, including its extension to n ≥ 3 spatial dimensions and its time decay; which is shown to be slower than that of the usual solution of this equation. These new solutions are then used to define certain mappings, F n, on L 2(?n) and a number of their properties are studied; in particular, their global smoothing properties are considered. The differences between the behavior of F n and that of analogous mappings constructed from usual solutions of the free Schrödinger equation are discussed.  相似文献

The paper is devoted to the calculation of two-loop (α s 2) MSSM corrections to the relation between the pole mass of the t quark and its running mass in the scheme. Firstly, the value of the second-order contribution from large-mass expansion in mt/M SUSY is studied. Contrary to our expectations, this contribution turned out to be negligible. As a by-product of this calculation, the two-loop anomalous dimension of the running quark mass is obtained in the supersymmetric QCD. Secondly, the influence of the two-loop corrections to the t-quark mass on the predicted superpartner masses is investigated. The text was submitted by the authors in English.  相似文献

With the help of the Zakharov–Manakov $\overline \partial $ -dressing method, the scheme of obtaining exact rational solutions to the well-known two-dimensional Veselov–Novikov integrable nonlinear equation and exact rational potentials for the two-dimensional Schrödinger stationary equation corresponding to wave functions with multiple poles is developed. As an example, new exact rational nonsingular and singular solutions to the Veselov–Novikov equation and the corresponding exact rational potentials for the two-dimensional Schrödinger stationary equation with multiple second-order poles are obtained.  相似文献
