In this work, the effect of spin-quadrupole forces on the 0+ sates in 158Gd has been investigated. For this purpose, the model Hamiltonian including monopole pairing, quadrupole-quadrupole and spin-quadrupole forces has been diagonalized in one phonon basis. In conclusion, for the distribution of energies of the states and their collective properties, fairly good results have been obtained.  相似文献

The contribution of -hyperons to neutrino scattering rates is calculated in the random phase approximation in a model where the interaction is described by a Skyrme potential. Finite temperature and neutrino trapping are taken into account in view of applications to the deleptonization stage of protoneutron star cooling. The hyperons can remove the problem of ferromagnetic instability common to (nearly) all Skyrme parametrizations of the nucleon-nucleon interaction. As a consequence, there is not any longer a pole at the transition in the neutrino-baryon cross-section. However there still remains an enhancement in this region. In the absence of ferromagnetism the mean free path in np matter is reduced compared to its value in np matter as a consequence of the presence of this additional degree of freedom. At high density the results are very sensitive to the choice of the - interaction.  相似文献

The Boltzmann-Nordheim-Vlasov (BNV) equation has been solved by using a microscopic momentum-dependent (MD) nuclear mean field. This potential has been calculated in the framework of the self-consistent Brueckner theory up to the second order in the G-matrix. Comparison with the so-called soft and stiff Equation of State (EOS) is presented, using the Skyrme force. Calculations have been performed for the 93Nb + 93Nb reaction at Elab = 100, 250, 400A MeV. Our results show that the subthreshold π0 production cross-section is very sensitive to the momentum-dependent mean field, resulting, at the lowest energy, in a total cross-section a factor of 7 larger than that obtained with a local potential. The effect decreases as the bombarding energy increases.  相似文献

Charge-changing transitions are considered in an extended Lipkin-Meshkov-Glick (LMG) model taking into account explicitly the proton and neutron degrees of freedom. The proton and neutron Hamiltonians are taken to be of the LMG form and, in addition, a residual proton-neutron interaction is included. Model charge-changing operators and their action on eigenfunctions of the model Hamiltonian are defined. Transition amplitudes of these operators are calculated using exact eigenfunctions and then the RPA approximation. The best agreement between the two kinds of calculation is obtained when the correlated RPA ground state, instead of the uncorrelated HF ground state, is employed and when the proton-neutron residual interaction, besides the proton-proton and neutron-neutron residual interactions, is taken into account in the model Hamiltonian. An analogy is presented between periodic persistent currents in mesoscopic rings and staggerings of gamma energy transitions from some nuclear high-spin states. Various sources of damping of the expected periodic structures in both physical systems are compared. This discussion provides, in the nuclear case, a tentative explanation of the scarcity of such staggerings, their appearance near 150Gd and the existence of a spin-window for their observation. Theoretical results for giant resonances in the three doubly magic exotic nuclei 78Ni, 100Sn and 132Sn are obtained from Hartree-Fock (HF) plus Random Phase Approximation (RPA) calculations using the D1S parameterization of the Gogny two-body effective interaction. Special attention is paid to full consistency between the HF field and the RPA particle-hole residual interaction. The results for the exotic nuclei, on average, appear similar to those of stable ones, especially for quadrupole and octupole states. More exotic systems have to be studied in order to confirm such a trend. The low energy of the monopole resonance in 78Ni suggests that the compression modulus in this neutron-rich nucleus is lower than the one of stable ones.  相似文献

We search for nonlinear effects in nuclear giant resonances (GRs), in particular the isovector dipole and the isoscalar quadrupole modes. To that end, we employ a spectral analysis of time-dependent Hartree-Fock (TDHF) dynamics using Skyrme forces. Based on TDHF calculations over a wide range of excitation amplitudes, we explore the collectivity and degree of harmonic motion in these modes. Both GR modes turn out to be highly harmonic in heavy nuclei from A = 100 on. There is no trace of a transition to irregular motion and multiple resonances are predicted. Slight anharmonicities are seen for light nuclei, particularly for 16O. These are mainly caused by the spin-orbit splitting.  相似文献

The renormalized random phase approximation for hot finite Fermi systems is evaluated with the use of the thermo field dynamics formalism. This approximation treats vibrations of a hot finite Fermi system as harmonic ones but takes into account the Pauli principle in a more proper way than the usual thermal RPA, thus incorporating a new type of correlations in a thermal ground state. To demonstrate advantages of the approximation and to analyze a range of its validity, it is applied to the exactly solvable Lipkin model. A comparison is made with the exact grand canonical ensemble calculations, results of the thermal Hartree – Fock approximation and the thermal random phase approximation. The intrinsic energy of the system, the heat capacity, the average value of the quasispin operator z-projection and the particle number variance are calculated as functions of temperature. On the whole, the thermal renormalized RPA appears to be a better approximation than the other two. Its advantage is especially evident in the vicinity of the phase transition point. It is found that within TRRPA the phase transition occurs at lower temperature than in THFA and TRPA. Received: 4 January 1999 / Revised version: 10 March 1999  相似文献

Coherent states are used as trial states to determine, variationally, the structure of the eigenvectors belonging to a schematic Hamiltonian consisting of single-particle, pairing and residual proton-neutron interaction terms. It is shown that the standard proton-neutron quasiparticle random-phase approximation (pn-QRPA) is recovered, as a variational theory, by replacing quasiparticle pair creation and annihilation operators by bosons. It is also shown that an exact, algebra preserving, mapping of the Hamiltonian is needed to describe the spectrum beyond the QRPA phase transition. The role of the spurious components of the trial wave functions is discussed. Received: 19 February 2002 / Accepted: 3 May 2002  相似文献

Deformed configuration mixing shell model based on Hartree-Fock states with extension to include isospin projection (DSMT) for two- and four-particle configurations (generated by particle-hole excitations) is applied to study the structure of the low-lying T = 0, 1 and 2 bands (or levels) in the even-even N = Z nuclei 52Fe and 72Kr. The pf-shell KB3 interaction for 52Fe and a modified Kuos interaction for 72Kr are employed in the calculations. In this first application of DSMT with four-particle T projection, low-spin (J 10) members of the T = 0, 1 and 2 bands in 52Fe are compared with experiment including the known E2 transition strengths. The agreement between DSMT and experiment is reasonably good. Similarly, the low-spin members of the observed (prolate) yrast band in 72Kr are also well described by DSMT.  相似文献

The treatment of the separable pairing interaction in the context of the BRST formalism and in the Dyson boson expansion method is discussed. The approach is based on the use of the vacuum expectation value of the boson number operator to define a suitable mean field. Received: 10 April 2000 / Accepted: 6 July 2001  相似文献

Large-scale axial mean-field calculations from proton to neutron drip lines have been performed within the Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov method based on the D1S Gogny force. Nearly 7000 nuclides have been studied under the axial symmetric hypothesis and various properties are displayed on an Internet web site for every individual nucleus. Some global properties are presented such as the positions of the drip lines, the nuclide ground-state deformations and binding energies as well as regions where possible super- or hyper-deformation might be encountered.  相似文献

We report on Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov (HFB) calculations of the ground-state rotational band of the heavy nucleus 254No recently observed experimentally. The calculated quadrupole deformation is consistent with the experimental value of β = 0.27 and is almost constant over the whole band. We also reproduce fairly well the excitation spectra and moments of inertia of this isotope up to the maximal experimentally observed state of spin 20. The rather high stability of this nucleus against fission is illustrated by the deformation energy curve providing very high fission barriers at zero spin within the HFB and HFB plus Lipkin-Nogami formalisms. The variation of these barriers with increased angular velocities is also studied. Received: 23 November 2000 / Accepted: 24 October 2001  相似文献

The structure properties of the even-even nuclei 226, 228, 230, 232, 234Th, 230, 232, 234, 236, 238, 240U, 240, 242, 244, 246Pu, and 242, 244, 246, 248Cm have been investigated at normal and superdeformed shapes in microscopic mean-field calculations based on Gogny force. Collective levels are predicted from constrained Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov and configuration mixing calculations. Two quasiparticle states are also predicted from blocking calculations for neutron and proton configurations. Predictions are shown and compared with experimental data at superdeformed shapes. We discuss the implications of using an intrinsic Hamiltonian in theories without particle-number conservation, e.g., the Hartree–Fock–Bogoliubov approximation, where the Hamiltonian's particle-number dependence leads to discrepancies if one naively replaces the particle-number operator by its expectation value. We develop a systematic expansion that fixes this problem and leads to an a posteriori justification of the widely-used one- plus two-body form of the intrinsic kinetic energy in nuclear self-consistent field methods. The expansion's convergence properties as well as its practical applications are discussed for several sample nuclei.  相似文献

We present an analysis of two-proton shell gaps in Sn isotopes. As theoretical tool we use self-consistent mean-field models, namely the relativistic mean-field model and the Skyrme-Hartree-Fock approach, both with two different pairing forces, a delta interaction (DI) model and a density-dependent delta interaction (DDDI). We investigate the influence of nuclear deformation as well as collective correlations and find that both effects contribute significantly. Moreover, we find a further significant dependence on the pairing force used. The inclusion of deformation plus correlation effects and the use of DDDI pairing provides agreement with the data.  相似文献

The evolution of shape from the spherical to the axially deformed shapes in the Sm isotopes is investigated microscopically in relativistic mean-field theory. The microscopic and self-consistent quadrupole deformation constrained relativistic mean-field calculations show a clear shape change for the even-even Sm isotopes with N = 82-96. The potential surfaces for 148Sm, 150Sm and 152Sm are found to be relatively flat, which may be the possible critical-point nuclei. By examining the single-particle spectra and nearest-neighbor spacing distribution of the single-particle levels, one finds that the single-particle levels in 148Sm , 150Sm, and 152Sm distribute more uniformly.  相似文献
