介绍了一种波形可调的高电压快前沿脉冲源。该脉冲源由Marx发生器、脉冲成型组件、主开关、匹配负载、分流电阻、串联电感等部件构成。各部件自成一体,呈模块化分布。以Marx发生器作为初级储能,通过调节发生器输出端分流电阻、串联电感及脉冲成型组件等模块,可以输出包括双指数波和方波在内的5种脉冲波形。输出脉冲幅值在200~600 kV范围内可调,最小脉冲前沿可达2 ns。  相似文献

By using a pump recycling configuration, we presented a high efficient diode-pumped Tm:YLF laser with a volume Bragg grating. When the incident pump power was 33.1 W, a maximum output power of 11.1 W at 1907.8 nm with full width at half maximum of 0.6 nm was obtained. The slope efficiency with respect to the incident pump power was 44.8%, and the optical-to-optical efficiency was 33.5%. In addition, the VBG-based Tm:YLF laser was employed as a pumping source of Ho:YAG laser, the maximum output power of 4.7 W with a slope efficiency of 67.0% was obtained, corresponding to Tm-to-Ho conversion efficiency of 51.6%.  相似文献

An efficient and narrow linewidth Cr:ZnSe laser pumped by Tm,Ho:GdVO4 laser with a volume Bragg grating (VBG) is reported. The Cr:ZnSe laser operated at 2580 nm with emitting linewidth (FWHM) about 0.8 nm. Using the volume Bragg grating, 3.57 W of output was achieved under total incident pump power of 13.1 W, corresponding to optical-to-optical conversion efficiency of 27.3%. By use of conventional mirror, 4.11 W of output was achieved the same incident pump power and the optical-to-optical conversion efficiency is 31.4%.  相似文献

A 2W cw laser diode (LD) with an external cavity produced by a reflecting volume Bragg grating (VBG) demonstrated a spectral width of 7GHz (full width at half-maximum) at 780nm. The device output power exceeded 90% of the output power of the free-running LD. The emission wavelength was tuned over a 300pm range by thermal control of the VBG. Rb vapor was shown to absorb more than 95% of the laser radiation.  相似文献

采用步进电机控制光栅角度,对200 m和600 m圆柱透镜准直的体布拉格光栅(VBG)外腔单管C封装半导体激光器进行了系统研究。实验结果表明:激光二极管(LD)驱动电流越大,准直效果越好,VBG的角度调整容差越小;快轴方向的准直效果越好,慢轴方向的光栅调节角度容差越大;对于衍射效率28%、厚1.4 mm的光栅,LD快轴发散角为7.3 mrad时,快轴方向的角度容差不大于3.2 mrad,慢轴方向的角度容差较快轴大约一个数量级。  相似文献

 建立了分别用一个和两个反射式体布拉格光栅实现两路和三路光束合成的物理模型,模型中考虑了体布拉格光栅的吸收,并假设入射光束的光谱具有高斯线型。通过对两路和三路光谱合成的数值分析可知:当光谱宽度为0.1 nm时,两路和三路光谱合成的效率分别为98.76%和97.69%;当光谱宽度为0.3 nm的时候,对应的效率分别为97.34%和95.78%。随着光谱宽度的增加,合成的效率明显降低。当光谱宽度较窄时,实现多路光束较高的合成效率是可行的,这为高能激光的获得提供了一种确实可行的方法。  相似文献

We present the diode pumping of a Nd:ASL (Sr1-xLax-yNdyMgxAl12-xO19) crystal for second harmonic generation at 453 nm. We have developed a high-brightness pump source based on a tapered amplifier in an extended cavity with a volume Bragg grating for wavelength stabilization. A pump brightness of 110 MW cm-2 sr-1 is obtained with a linewidth lower than 80 pm at 798 nm. This laser source is used to pump a Nd:ASL crystal to obtain 300 mW at 906 nm and 53 mW at 453 nm by intracavity doubling with a LBO crystal. PACS  42.55.Xi; 42.55.Px; 42.65.Ky  相似文献

Blue light with an average power of as much as 7.5 mW in picosecond pulses has been generated at 486, 488, and 491 nm from a frequency-doubled, nonresonant injection seeded, gain-switched InGaAs/GaAs diode laser by use of a periodically poled KTP waveguide crystal that incorporates a Bragg grating section.  相似文献

This study presents an external cavity diode laser (ECDL) system, utilizing a volume holographic grating (VHG) and a microfabricated silicon flexure as the VHG holder. The laser design is aimed for easy assembly, controllability, and better stability of the laser cavity. The laser frequency was stabilized to a D2 transition of rubidium at 780.247 nm, with a mode-hop-free tuning range of 16 GHz and 9.6 GHz with and without feed-forward on the diode injection current. The measured linewidth was 850 kHz in 500 s, qualified for laser cooling experiments.  相似文献

Theoretical and experimental results are used to demonstrate that an increase in the pump current leads to an increase in the range of continuous variation in the radiation wavelength and power of a laser diode with a fiber Bragg grating with a decrease in the fiber length. An expression for the gain that depends on the carrier density in the laser active area is derived. The watt-ampere and spectral characteristics that are calculated in the two cases are in reasonable agreement.  相似文献

Two separate laser diodes emitting near 980 nm were coupled by a thick volume Bragg grating recorded in a photothermorefractive glass. The coupled diodes emitted at the same wavelength with a spectral width narrowed to below the resolution of the spectrum analyzer (<30 pm). Coherent emission at a pumping level greater than five times above the threshold was observed for several months with near-unity visibility of the interference pattern.  相似文献

Broad area semiconductor laser (BAL) has poor lateral beam quality due to lateral mode competition, which limits its application as a high-power optical source. In this work, the distributed Bragg reflector laser diode with tapered grating (TDBR-LD) is studied. By changing the lateral width, the tapered grating increases the loss of high-order lateral modes, thus improving the lateral characteristics of the laser diode. The measuring results show that the TDBR-LD can achieve a single-lobe output under 0.9 A. In contrast to the straight distributed Bragg reflector laser diode (SDBR-LD), the lateral far field divergence of TDBR-LD is measured to be 5.23° at 1 A, representing a 17% decline. The linewidth of TDBR-LD is 0.4 nm at 0.2 A, which is reduced by nearly 43% in comparison with that of SDBR-LD. Meanwhile, both of the devices have a maximum output power value of approximate 470 mW.  相似文献

We demonstrate a high-efficiency near-degenerate periodically poled MgO:LiNbO(3) (PPMgLN) optical parametric oscillator (OPO) using a volume Bragg grating (VBG) output coupler (OC) pumped by a multilongitudinal Q-switched Nd:YVO(4) laser at 20 kHz repetition rate. A total parametric power of 4.3 W with a conversion efficiency of 60% is achieved in a double-pass pump configuration. The output power improvement over the case of a single-pass pump is nearly 60%. Both the signal and the idler bandwidths are less than 40 GHz and are confined within 170 GHz bandwidth at 2128.8 nm. Such efficiency is, to our knowledge, the highest ever achieved from a degenerate OPO using a VBG OC.  相似文献

We report the observation of hybrid optoelectronic bistability in a fiber Bragg grating (FBG) by use of an electro-optically tuned cw fiber laser in which another wavelength-matched FBG is employed to constitute a tunable resonant cavity. We demonstrate a tunable nanosecond optical parametric oscillator with a narrowed signal spectrum. This was done by use of a volume Bragg grating based retroreflector, which makes the tuning simple and yields a compact design. Using periodically poled KTiOPO4 as the nonlinear medium, we generated 0.42 mJ of signal energy at 760 nm with a tuning range of 5 nm(2.6 THz) and a bandwidth of 0.25 nm(130 GHz) when the oscillator was pumped at 532 nm with 1.3 mJ of energy.  相似文献

The self-image phenomenon by a volume grating is proposed and theoretically analyzed. A theoretical model based on a path integral formulation to describe wave propagation through the grating inhomogeneous medium is applied. A modified version of the scalar diffraction theory Fresnel propagator is obtained which allows calculating the diffracted field amplitude by the grating. The proposed model is applied to amplitude and/or phase volume gratings. Remarkable features appear, in particular at the fractional Talbot distance 0.125zT. In this case, if an in-phase real and imaginary grating modulation is considered a self-image intensity profile is observed for determined values of the absorptive and refractive parameters. On the other hand, a spatial comb intensity profile for a near half period shift between the real and imaginary grating modulations is found.  相似文献

We report on a widely tunable, narrow linewidth operation of a Tm:YAG ceramic laser. A volume Bragg grating is used in the cavity as a folding mirror for wavelength selection. The wavelength is tuned from 1956.2 to1995 nm, leading to a total tuning range of 38.7 nm. The linewidth is around 0.1 nm over the whole tuning range. A maximum output power of 1.51 W at 1990.5 nm is achieved at 37.8 W absorbed pump power.Different saturation behaviors are observed in the laser performances at different wavelengths.  相似文献

<正>Diffraction efficiency of volume Bragg grating,whose period is in the same order as the incident wavelength, is related to the polarization direction of the incident linear polarized beam.When two linearly polarized recording beams with the same polarization direction are used for recording volume Bragg gratings in a photopolymer with diffusion amplification,the azimuth of polarization of the reconstruction beam influences the diffraction efficiency of the grating.When the probe beam is linearly polarized and oriented orthogonally to the grating vectors,the±1-order diffraction beams are also linearly polarized with polarization direction parallel to that of the probe beam.According to the results,a two-dimensional nonspatial optical filter consisting of the volume Bragg gratings would achieve significantly higher efficiency.  相似文献

Based on the principle of spectral beam combining using a transmitting volume Bragg grating, a simple experimental setup was designed, in which an approach to control the incidence angles of beams using a focusing lens is presented. The experimental results for the spectral beam combining of two fiber lasers are reported. The gain media used in this experiment were large-mode area Er3+/Yb3+ co-doped double-clad fibers, pumped by semiconductor lasers. The output powers of the two fiber lasers were 0.39 and 0.53 W, respectively. With a grating diffraction efficiency of about 60%, a maximum combined power of 0.64 W with an absolute combining efficiency of about 69.6% was achieved.  相似文献

Efficient high-power operation of double-clad Er,Yb-doped fiber lasers with fixed-wavelength and wavelength-tunable resonator configurations using volume Bragg gratings for wavelength selection are reported. The fixed-wavelength laser yielded a maximum output power of 103 W at 1552.6 nm with a linewidth of ~0.4 nm (FWHM) for a launched pump power of 290 W at 976 nm. The wavelength-tunable laser could be tuned from 1528 to 1550 nm with a linewidth of 0.2 nm (FWHM) and with output power in the range 30-38 W for a launched pump power of 120 W.
