We consider a p-adic solid-on-solid (SOS) model with a nearest-neighbor coupling, m+1 spins, and a coupling constant J ∈ Q p on a Cayley tree. We find conditions under which a phase transition does not occur in the model. We show that if p | m + 1 for some J, then a phase transition occurs. Moreover, we formulate a criterion for the boundedness of p-adic Gibbs measures for the (m+1)-state SOS model.  相似文献

We consider a nonlinear evolution equation for complex-valued functions of a real positive time variable and a p-adic spatial variable. This equation is a non-Archimedean counterpart of the fractional porous medium equation. Developing, as a tool, an \(L^1\)-theory of Vladimirov’s p-adic fractional differentiation operator, we prove m-accretivity of the appropriate nonlinear operator, thus obtaining the existence and uniqueness of a mild solution. We give also an example of an explicit solution of the p-adic porous medium equation.  相似文献

Let IK be an algebraically closed field of characteristic 0 complete for an ultrametric absolute value. Following results obtained in complex analysis, here we examine problems of uniqueness for meromorphic functions having finitely many poles, sharing points or a pair of sets (C.M. or I.M.) defined either in the whole field IK or in an open disk, or in the complement of an open disk. Following previous works in C, we consider functions fn(x)fm(ax + b), gn(x)gm(ax + b) with |a| = 1 and nm, sharing a rational function and we show that f/g is a n + m-th root of 1 whenever n + m ≥ 5. Next, given a small function w, if n, m ∈ IN are such that |n ? m| ≥ 5, then fn(x)fm(ax + b) ? w has infinitely many zeros. Finally, we examine branched values for meromorphic functions fn(x)fm(ax + b).  相似文献

p-Adic mathematical physics is a branch of modern mathematical physics based on the application of p-adic mathematical methods in modeling physical and related phenomena. It emerged in 1987 as a result of efforts to find a non-Archimedean approach to the spacetime and string dynamics at the Planck scale, but then was extended to many other areas including biology. This paper contains a brief review of main achievements in some selected topics of p-adic mathematical physics and its applications, especially in the last decade. Attention is mainly paid to developments with promising future prospects.  相似文献

We consider the p-adic random walk model in a potential which can be viewed as a generalization of p-adic random walk models used for describing protein conformational dynamics. This model is based on the Kolmogorov-Feller equations for the distribution function defined on the field of p-adic numbers in which the transition rate depends on ultrametric distance between the transition points as well as on function of potential violating the spatial homogeneity of a random process. This equation which will be called the equation of p-adic random walk in a potential, is equivalent to the equation of p-adic random walk with modified measure and reaction source. With a special choice of a power-law potential the last equation is shown to have an exact analytic solution. We find the analytic solution of the Cauchy problem for such equation with an initial condition, whose support lies in the ring of integer p-adic numbers.We also examine the asymptotic behaviour of the distribution function for large times. It is shown that in the limit t→∞ the distribution function tends to the equilibrium solution according to the law, which is bounded from above and below by power laws with the same exponent. Our principal conclusion is that the introduction of a potential in the model of p-adic random walk conserves the power-law behaviour of relaxation curves for large times.  相似文献

For any prime number p let Ωp be the p-adic counterpart of the complex numbers C. In this paper we investigate the class of p-adic UHF Banach algebras. A p-adic UHF Banach algebra is any unital p-adic Banach algebra A of the form \(A = \overline {U{M_n}} \), where (Mn) is an increasing sequence of p-adic Banach subalgebras of M such that each Mn is generated over Ωp by an algebraic system of matrix units {e ij ( n) | 1 ≤ i, jpn }. The main result is that the supernatural number associated to a p-adic TUHF Banach algebra is an invariant of the algebra.  相似文献

In this note, we find a monomial basis of the cyclotomic Hecke algebra \({\mathcal{H}_{r,p,n}}\) of G(r,p,n) and show that the Ariki-Koike algebra \({\mathcal{H}_{r,n}}\) is a free module over \({\mathcal{H}_{r,p,n}}\), using the Gröbner-Shirshov basis theory. For each irreducible representation of \({\mathcal{H}_{r,p,n}}\), we give a polynomial basis consisting of linear combinations of the monomials corresponding to cozy tableaux of a given shape.  相似文献

For a fixed p \memb [1, \infty], we construct Schwartz-class functions which are L r -cyclic for r > p and not L r - cyclic for r \le p. We consider the procedure for analytic continuation of the replica matrix. We formulate a particular form of this procedure in which the analytic continuation is defined by a sequence of maps. We consider the questions of lower semicontinuity and relaxation for the integral functionals satisfying the p(x)- and p(x, u)-growth conditions. Presently these functionals are actively studied in the theory of elliptic and parabolic problems and in the framework of the calculus of variations. The theory we present rests on the following results: the remarkable result of Kristensen on the characterization of homogeneous p-gradient Young measures by their summability; the earlier result of Zhang on approximating gradient Young measures with compact support; the result of Zhikov on the density in energy of regular functions for integrands with p(x)-growth; on the author’s approach to Young measures as measurable functions with values in a metric space whose metric has integral representation.  相似文献

The rank of a q-ary code C is the dimension of the subspace spanned by C. The kernel of a q-ary code C of length n can be defined as the set of all translations leaving C invariant. Some relations between the rank and the dimension of the kernel of q-ary 1-perfect codes, over as well as over the prime field , are established. Q-ary 1-perfect codes of length n=(qm − 1)/(q − 1) with different kernel dimensions using switching constructions are constructed and some upper and lower bounds for the dimension of the kernel, once the rank is given, are established.Communicated by: I.F. We study the low-temperature properties of the p-spin spin glass model in the spin-one (three-state) case for large values of p. We show that the one-step replica symmetry-breaking phase is unstable at a very low temperature, and we calculate the explicit boundary of the stability interval, the Gardner temperature, analytically for large values of p. This temperature for the spin-one model has the same form of dependence on p as in the case of Ising spins (two states). In the one-step replica symmetrybreaking state, a quadrupolar orientational glass coexists with the spin glass and also with a regular quadrupole ordering.  相似文献
