Four-mode coherent-entangled state and its application

A new kind of four-mode continuous variable coherent-entangled state is proposed in the Fock space by using the technique of integration within an ordered product,which exhibits both the properties of a coherent state and an entangled state,and spans a complete and orthonormal representation.The conjugate state of the four-mode continuous variable coherent-entangled state is derived by using the Fourier transformation.Moreover,a simple experimental protocol of generating a four-mode continuous variable coherent-entangled state is proposed by using beam splitters.As applications of this four-mode continuous variable coherent-entangled state,a four-mode entangled state and a four-mode squeezing-Fresnel operator are constructed.     

Some applications of a new coherent-entangled state in two-mode Fock space

Using the technique of integration within an ordered product of operators,we find a new kind of coherent-entangled state(CES),which exhibits both coherent and entangled state properties.The set of CESs makes up a complete and partly nonorthogonal representation.Using a beam splitter,we propose a simple experimental scheme to produce the CES.Finally,we present some applications of CESs in quantum optics.     

New bipartite coherent-entangled state in two-mode Fock space and its applications

A new bipartite coherent-entangled state (CES) is found which exhibits both coherent state and entangled state properties. The set of CESs constitute a complete and partly nonorthogonal representation. Using an asymmetric beamsplitter a experimental scheme to produce the CES is proposed. Applications of CESs in quantum optics are also presented.     

基于双模相干-纠缠态表象的算符恒等式构造法

Representation of the coherent state for a beam splitter operator and its applications

A beam splitter operator is a very important linear device in the field of quantum optics and quantum information. It can not only be used to prepare complete representations of quantum mechanics, entangled state representation, but it can also be used to simulate the dissipative environment of quantum systems. In this paper, by combining the transform relation of the beam splitter operator and the technique of integration within the product of the operator, we present the coherent state representation of the operator and the corresponding normal ordering form. Based on this, we consider the applications of the coherent state representation of the beam splitter operator, such as deriving some operator identities and entangled state representation preparation with continuous-discrete variables. Furthermore, we extend our investigation to two single and two-mode cascaded beam splitter operators, giving the corresponding coherent state representation and its normal ordering form. In addition, the application of a beam splitter to prepare entangled states in quantum teleportation is further investigated, and the fidelity is discussed. The above results provide good theoretical value in the fields of quantum optics and quantum information.     

A new finite-dimensional pair coherent state studied by virtue of the entangled state representation and its statistical behavior

In this paper we construct a new type of finite-dimensional pair coherent states |ξ, q〉 as realizations of SU(2) Lie algebra. Using the technique of integration within an ordered product of operator, the nonorthogonality and completeness properties of the state |ξ, q〉 are investigated. Based on the Wigner operator in the entangled state |τ〉 representation, the Wigner function of |ξ, q〉 is obtained. The properties of |ξ, q〉 are discussed in terms of the negativity of its Wigner function. The tomogram of |ξ, q〉 is calculated with the aid of the Radon transform between the Wigner operator and the projection operator of the entangled state |η, κ₁, κ₂〉. In addition, using the entangled state |τ〉 representation of |ξ, q〉 to show that the states |ξ, q〉 are just a set of energy eigenstates of time-independent two coupled oscillators.

Squeezing entangled state of two particles with unequal masses

For two unequal-mass particles, we construct the entangled state representation and then derive the corresponding squeezing operator. This squeezing operator has a natural realization in the entangled state representation, which exhibits the intrinsic relation between squeezing and quantum entanglement. This squeezing operator involves both two-mode squeezing and the direct product of two single-mode squeezings. The maximum squeezing occurs when the two particles possess equal mass. When two particles' mass difference becomes large, the component of the two single-mode squeezings becomes dominant.

Four-mode continuous-variables entangled state: generation from beam splitter, a parametric down-conversion and a polarizer

We introduce a new kind of four-mode continuous variable entangled state in Fock space. The completeness relation and the partly nonorthonormal property of such a state are proven. The scheme to generate this state is presented by combining a symmetrical beamsplitter, a parametric down-conversion and a polarizer. After making a single-mode quadrature amplitude measurement, the remaining three modes are kept in entanglement. And its applications are also discussed.

The N-mode squeezed state with enhanced squeezing

It is known that exp [iλ (Q1P1i/2)] is a unitary single-mode squeezing operator,where Q1,P1 are the coordinate and momentum operators,respectively.In this paper we employ Dirac’s coordinate representation to prove that the exponential operator S n ≡ exp [iλ sum((QiPi+1+Qi+1Pi))) from i=1 to n ],(Qn+1=Q1,Pn+1=P1),is an n-mode squeezing operator which enhances the standard squeezing.By virtue of the technique of integration within an ordered product of operators we derive S n ’s normally ordered expansion and obtain new n-mode squeezed vacuum states,its Wigner function is calculated by using the Weyl ordering invariance under similar transformations.

New decomposition of the Fresnel operator corresponding to the optical transformation in AB CD-systems

By virtue of the coherent state representation of the newly introduced Fresnel operator and its group product property we obtain new decomposition of the Fresnel operator as the product of the quadratic phase operator, the squeezing operator, and the fractional Fourier transformation operator, which in turn sheds light on the matrix optics design of ABCD-systems The new decomposition for the two-mode Fresnel operator is also obtained by the use of entangled state representation.     

A generalized Hadamard transformation from new entangled state

A new entangled state | eta ;theta rangle is proposed by the technique of integral within an ordered product. A generalized Hadamard transformation is derived by virtue of | eta ;theta rangle , which plays a role of Hadamard transformation for (hat a_1 sin theta - hat a_2 cos theta ) and (hat a_1 cos theta + hat a_2 sin theta ).     

级联光束分离器的纠缠特性及其应用

光束分离器是一个具有广泛应用的线性光学器件,它在非经典量子态特别是纠缠态的制备中具有重要作用.基于单个光束分离器的表象表示,本文进一步考察多个级联光束分离器的纠缠特性,特别是结合有序算符内的积分技术推导了级联光束分离器的正规乘积、紧指数表示及级联算符的表象表示.作为应用,本文利用两个级联光束分离器获得了量子力学表象及其Schmidt分解,并结合量子条件测量制备了qubit态的叠加态.本文的研究方法已被直接推广至多个光束分离器级联情况,相关研究内容为多模纠缠态、多模qubit态的制备提供了一种有效的途径,且为由光束分离器组成的线性器件系统总作用的算符正规乘积及其紧指数表示提供了一般方法.
