The theory of bifurcations for dynamical system is employed to construct new exact solutions of the generalized nonlinear Schrödinger equation. Firstly, the generalized nonlinear Schrödinger equation was converted into ordinary differential equation system by using traveling wave transform. Then, the system's Hamiltonian, orbits phases diagrams are found. Finally, six families of solutions are constructed by integrating along difference orbits, which consist of Jacobi elliptic function solutions, hyperbolic function solutions, trigonometric function solutions, solitary wave solutions, breaking wave solutions, and kink wave solutions.  相似文献

We construct Darboux transformations for a generalized Schrödinger equation by means of the intertwining operator method. We establish a relation between first-order Darboux transformations, supersymmetry, and factorization of the Hamiltonians that are associated with our generalized Schrödinger equation. Furthermore, our methods allow for the generation of isospectral potentials, where one of the potentials has additional or less bound states than its partner. In the particular case of a conventional Schrödinger equation our generalized Darboux transformations reduce correctly to the well-known expressions.  相似文献

The intertwining operator technique is applied to the Schrödinger equation with an additional functional dependence h(r) on the right-hand side of the equation. The suggested generalized transformations turn into the Darboux transformations for both fixed and variable values of energy and angular momentum. A relation between the Darboux transformation and supersymmetry is considered.  相似文献

We study Schrödinger operators of the form on d , whereA 2 is a strictly positive symmetricd×d matrix andV(x) is a continuous real function which is the Fourier transform of a bounded measure. If n are the eigenvalues ofH we show that the theta function is explicitly expressible in terms of infinite dimensional oscillatory integrals (Feynman path integrals) over the Hilbert space of closed trajectories. We use these explicit expressions to give the asymptotic behaviour of (t) for smallh in terms of classical periodic orbits, thus obtaining a trace formula for the Schrödinger operators. This then yields an asymptotic expansion of the spectrum ofH in terms of the periodic orbits of the corresponding classical mechanical system. These results extend to the physical case the recent work on Poisson and trace formulae for compact manifolds.Partially supported by the USP-Mathematisierung, University of Bielefeld (Forschungsprojekt Unendlich dimensionale Analysis)  相似文献

In this paper, we present an adaptive approach to design the artificial boundary conditions for the two-level Schrödinger equation with conical crossings on the unbounded domain. We use the windowed Fourier transform to obtain the local wave number information in the vicinity of artificial boundaries, and adopt the operator splitting method to obtain an adaptive local artificial boundary condition. Then reduce the original problem into an initial boundary value problem on the bounded computational domain, which can be solved by the finite difference method. By this numerical method, we observe the surface hopping phenomena of the two-level Schrödinger equation with conical crossings. Several numerical examples are provided to show the accuracy and convergence of the proposed method.  相似文献

LetS ?=??Δ+V, withV smooth. If 0<E 2V(x), the spectrum ofS ? nearE 2 consists (for ? small) of finitely-many eigenvalues,λ j (?). We study the asymptotic distribution of these eigenvalues aboutE 2 as ?→0; we obtain semi-classical asymptotics for $$\sum\limits_j {f\left( {\frac{{\sqrt {\lambda _j (\hbar )} - E}}{\hbar }} \right)} $$ with \(\hat f \in C_0^\infty \) , in terms of the periodic classical trajectories on the energy surface \(B_E = \left\{ {\left| \xi \right|^2 + V(x) = E^2 } \right\}\) . This in turn gives Weyl-type estimates for the counting function \(\# \left\{ {j;\left| {\sqrt {\lambda _j (\hbar )} - E} \right| \leqq c\hbar } \right\}\) . We make a detailed analysis of the case when the flow onB E is periodic.  相似文献

The relation between the density matrix obeying the von Neumann equation and the wave function obeying the Schrödinger equation is discussed in connection with the superposition principle of quantum states. The definition of the ray-addition law is given, and its relation to the addition law of vectors in the Hilbert space of states and the role of a constant phase factor of the wave function is elucidated. The superposition law of density matrices, Wigner functions, and tomographic probabilities describing quantum states in the probability representation of quantum mechanics is studied. Examples of spin-1/2 and Schrödinger-cat states of the harmonic oscillator are discussed. The connection of the addition law with the entanglement problem is considered.  相似文献

The integrated density of states of the periodic plus random one-dimensional Schrödinger operator ;f0,q i ()0, has Lifschitz singularities at the edges of the gaps inSp(H ). We use Dirichlet-Neumann bracketing based on a specifically one-dimensional construction of bracketing operators without eigenvalues in a given gap of the periodic ones.  相似文献

We consider the initial boundary value (IBV) problem for the focusing nonlinear Schrödinger equation in the quarter plane x>0, t >0 in the case of periodic initial data, u(x,0) = α exp(?2iβx) (or asymptotically periodic, u(x, 0) =α exp(?2iβx)→0 as x→∞), and a Robin boundary condition at x = 0: ux(0, t)+qu(0, t) = 0, q ≠ 0. Our approach is based on the unified transform (the Fokas method) combined with symmetry considerations for the corresponding Riemann-Hilbert (RH) problems. We present the representation of the solution of the IBV problem in terms of the solution of an associated RH problem. This representation also allows us to determine an initial value (IV) problem, of a shock type, a solution of which being restricted to the half-line x > 0 is the solution of the original IBV problem. In the case β < 0, the large-time asymptotics of the solution of the IBV problem is presented in the “rarefaction” sector, demonstrating, in particular, an oscillatory behavior of the boundary values in the case q > 0, contrary to the decay to 0 in the case q < 0.  相似文献

It is shown how to construct infinitely many conserved quantities for the classical non-linear Schrödinger equation associated with an arbitrary Hermitian symmetric spaceG/K. These quantities are non-local in general, but include a series of local quantities as a special case. Their Poisson bracket algebra is studied, and is found to be a realization of the half Kac-Moody algebrak R [], consisting of polynomials in positive powers of a complex parameter which have coefficients in the compact real form ofk (the Lie algebra ofK).  相似文献

We consider the discrete spectrum of the selfadjoint Schrödinger operatorA h =–h 2 +V defined inL 2(m) with potentialV which steadies at infinity, i.e.V(x)=g+|x| f(1+o(1)) as |x| for>0 and some homogeneous functionsg andf of order zero. Let h (),0, be the total multiplicity of the eigenvalues ofA h smaller thanM–, M being the minimum value ofg over the unit sphereS m–1 (hence,M coincides with the lower bound of the essential spectrum ofA h ). We study the asymptotic behaviour of 1() as0, or of h () ash0, the number0 being fixed. We find that these asymptotics depend essentially on the structure of the submanifold ofS m–1, where the functiong takes the valueM, and generically are nonclassical, i.e. even as a first approximation (2) m h () differs from the volume of the set {(x, )2m:h 2||2+V(x)<M–}.Partially supported by Contract No. 52 with the Ministry of Culture, Science and Education  相似文献

A Feynman formula for heat-type equations with respect to functions defined on the product of a real line and the space ℚp n is obtained. By a Feynman formula we mean a representation of a solution of the Cauchy problem for the differential evolution equation as a limit of integrals over Cartesian powers of some space. The result thus obtained sharpens results of the paper [1]. The role of the Laplace operator is played here by the Vladimirov operator. Equations of this type turned out to be useful when describing the dynamics of proteins.  相似文献

The Darboux transformation operator technique is applied to the generalized Schrödinger equation with a position-dependent effective mass and with linearly energy-dependent potentials. Intertwining operators are obtained in an explicit form and used for constructing generalized Darboux transformations. An interrelation is established between the differential and integral transformation operators. It is shown how to construct the quantum well potentials in nanoelectronic with a given spectrum.  相似文献

A broad class of exact self-similar solutions to the nonlinear Schr?dinger equation (NLSE) with distributed dispersion, nonlinearity, and gain or loss has been found. Appropriate solitary wave solutions applying to propagation in optical fibers and optical fiber amplifiers with these distributed parameters have also been studied. These solutions exist for physically realistic dispersion and nonlinearity profiles in a fiber with anomalous group velocity dispersion. They correspond either to compressing or spreading solitary pulses which maintain a linear chirp or to chirped oscillatory solutions. The stability of these solutions has been confirmed by numerical simulations of the NLSE.  相似文献

Abstract

We show that the free Schrödinger equation admits Lorentz space-time transformations when corresponding transformations of the ψ-function are nonlocal. Some consequences of this symmetry are discussed.

We prove a smoothing property for one dimensional time dependent Schr?dinger equations with potentials which satisfy at infinity, k≥ 2. As an application, we show that the initial value problem for certain nonlinear Schr?dinger equations with such potentials is L 2 well-posed. We also prove a sharp asymptotic estimate of the L p -norm of the normalized eigenfunctions of H=−Δ+V for large energy.
