We study the leptonic CP violation effects in leptoquark models. We show that in general the leptoquark contribution to the longitudinal muon polarization effect inη→μ + μ ? decay is very small and in a model which has no couplings induced by the leptoquark between different generations, both the electric dipole moment of electron or muon and longitudinal polarization of electron in π0,η→e + e ? decays can be large. 相似文献

CP-violation in the Standard Model (SM) is described by a single parameter and the pattern of possible CP-violating phenomena is thus extremely constrained. The Belle experiment at the KEK laboratory in Tsukuba (Japan) is testing if this pattern actually occurs by analyzing a sample of about 770 million B-meson decays. CP-violation observed at Belle is consistent with the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa (CKM) mechanism, the theory of CP-violation within the SM. We briefly describe how the unitarity triangle allows to probe the CKM theory and review recent measurements of its angles and sides, namely determinations of the CKM angles ? 1 and ? 3, and the CKM magnitudes |V cb | and |V ub |. 相似文献

By using the generalized Yang-Mills model, CP violation behavior at finite temperature is investigated, and it is shown that dynamical CP violation of the generalized Yang-Mills model at zero temperature can be restored at finite temperature. 相似文献

We study the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon, a μ , and lepton flavor violating decay μ→eγ in TeV scale B?L extension of the Standard Model (SM) with inverse seesaw mechanism. We show that the B?L contributions to a μ are severely constrained; therefore, the SM contribution remains intact. We also emphasize that the current experimental limit of BR(μ→eγ) can be satisfied for a wide range of parameter space and it can be within the reach of MEG experiment. 相似文献

It is shown that in a large class of supersymmetric SUc(3) X SUL(2) X U(1) models there is no spontaneous CP violation. 相似文献

The non-conservation of CP symmetry in the decay of neutralK mesons was discovered almost three decades ago. The origin of this unique phenomenon is still not well understood. There have been attempts to link it with energy splitting of theK and
in the earth's gravitational field. In this essay we examine these attempts critically. A more natural way in which a gravitational field can couple asymmetrically to the
system is through torsion, which coupling to isospin can, in addition to parity violation, also give rise to a C violation. The magnitude of this effect is estimated in the vicinity of a kaon and found to give a CP-violating parameter of the right value. Moreover, it is predicted that the CP violating parameter for the new system
is much smaller 10–6. Implications for baryogenesis in the early universe is also studied. In this paper we work not with the Newtonian gravitational constantG but with a torsion coupling constant, which is energy-dependent and can be related to the Fermi weak interaction constant. 相似文献
