In this paper,a class of discrete time non-autonomous competing system with feedback controls is considered. With the help of differential equations with piecewise constant arguments,we first propose a discrete model of a continuous non-autonomous competing system with feedback controls. Then,using the coincidence degree and the related continuation theorem as well as some priori estimations,a suficient condition for the existence of positive solutions to difference equations is obtained.  相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to reconsider the utility representation problem of preferences. Several representation theorems are obtained on general choice spaces. Preferences having continuous utility functions are characterized by their continuities and countable satiation. It is showed that on a pairwise separable choice space,the sufficient and necessary condition for a preference to be represented by a continuous utility function is that the preference is continuous and countably satiable. For monotone preferences,we obtain that any space has continuous utility representations.  相似文献

This paper addresses the construction of wavelet frame from a frame multiresolution analysis (FMRA) associated with a dilation matrix of determinant ±2. The dilation matrices of determinant ±2 can be classified as six classes according to integral similarity. In this paper, for four classes of them, the construction of wavelet frame from an FMRA is obtained, and, as examples, Shannon type wavelet frames are constructed, which have an independent value for their optimality in some sense.  相似文献

A 3-dimensional type-K competitive Lotka-Volterra system is considered in this paper. Two discretization schemes are applied to the system with an positive interior fixed point, and two corresponding discrete systems are obtained. By analyzing the local dynamics of the corresponding discrete system near the interior fixed point, it is showed that this system is not dynamically consistent with the continuous counterpart system.  相似文献

We consider an adaptive finite element method (AFEM) for obstacle problems associated with linear second order elliptic boundary value problems and prove a reduction in the energy norm of the discretization error which leads to R-linear convergence. This result is shown to hold up to a consistency error due to the extension of the discrete multipliers (point functionals) to H^-1 and a possible mismatch between the continuous and discrete coincidence and noncoincidence sets. The AFEM is based on a residual-type error estimator consisting of element and edge residuals. The a posteriori error analysis reveals that the significant difference to the unconstrained case lies in the fact that these residuals only have to be taken into account within the discrete noncoincidence set. The proof of the error reduction property uses the reliability and the discrete local efficiency of the estimator as well as a perturbed Galerkin orthogonality. Numerical results are given illustrating the performance of the AFEM.  相似文献

The periodic multiresolution analysis (PMRA) and the periodic frame multiresolution analysis (PFMRA) provide a general recipe for the construction of periodic wavelets and periodic wavelet frames, respectively. This paper addresses PFMRAs by the introduction of the notion of spectrum sequence. In terms of spectrum sequences, the scaling function sequences generating a normalized PFMRA are characterized; a characterization of the spectrum sequences of PFMRAs is obtained, which provides a method to construct PFMRAs since its proof is constructive; a necessary and sufficient condition for a PFMRA to admit a single wavelet frame sequence is obtained; a necessary and sufficient condition for a PFMRA to be contained in a given PMRA is also obtained. What is more, it is proved that an arbitrary PFMRA must be contained in some PMRA. In the meanwhile, some examples are provided to illustrate the general theory.  相似文献

Following the framework of the finite element methods based on Riesz-representingoperators developed by Duan Huoyuan in 1997,through discrete Rieszonsome virtual(non-) conforming finite-dimensional subspaces,a stabilization formulation is presented for the Stokes problem by employing nonconforming elements. This formulation is uni-tormly coercive and not subject to the Babus Ka-Brezzi condition,and the resulted linearalgebraic system is positive definite with the spectral condition number O(h^-2).Quasi-optimal error bounds are obtained,which is consistent with the interpolation properties of the finite elements used.  相似文献

By using the critical point theory, some sufficient conditions for the existence of the solutions to the boundary value problems of a discrete generalized Emden-Fowler equation are obtained. In a special case, a sharp condition is obtained for the existence of the boundary value problems of the above equation. For a linear case, by the discrete variational theory, a necessary and sufficient condition for the existence, uniqueness and multiplicity of the solutions is also established.  相似文献

This paper concerns the construction and regularity of a transition (probability) function of a non-homogeneous continuous-time Markov process with given transition rates and a general state space. Motivating from a lot of restriction in applications of a transition function with continuous (in t≥0) and conservative transition rates q(t, x, Λ), we consider the case that q(t,x,Λ) are only required to satisfy a mild measurability (in t≥0) condition, which is a generalization of the continuity condition. Under the measurability condition we construct a transition function with the given transition rates, provide a necessary and sufficient condition for it to be regular, and further obtain some interesting additional results.  相似文献

Assume that(X,d,μ) is a space of homogeneous type in the sense of Coifman and Weiss(1971,1977). In this article, motivated by the breakthrough work of Auscher and Hyt(o|¨)nen(2013) on orthonormal bases of regular wavelets on spaces of homogeneous type, we introduce a new kind of approximations of the identity with exponential decay(for short, exp-ATI). Via such an exp-ATI, motivated by another creative idea of Han et al.(2018) to merge the aforementioned orthonormal bases of regular wavelets into the frame of the existed distributional theory on spaces of homogeneous type, we establish the homogeneous continuous/discrete Calderón reproducing formulae on(X, d,μ), as well as their inhomogeneous counterparts. The novelty of this article exists in that d is only assumed to be a quasi-metric and the underlying measure μ a doubling measure,not necessary to satisfy the reverse doubling condition. It is well known that Calderón reproducing formulae are the cornerstone to develop analysis and, especially, harmonic analysis on spaces of homogeneous type.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the optimal error estimates and energy conservation properties of the alternating direction implicit finite-difference time-domain(ADI-FDTD) method which is a popular scheme for solving the 3D Maxwell’s equations.Precisely,for the case with a perfectly electric conducting(PEC) boundary condition we establish the optimal second-order error estimates in both space and time in the discrete H 1-norm for the ADI-FDTD scheme,and prove the approximate divergence preserving property that if the divergence of the initial electric and magnetic fields are zero,then the discrete L 2-norm of the discrete divergence of the ADI-FDTD solution is approximately zero with the second-order accuracy in both space and time.The key ingredient is two new discrete modified energy norms which are second-order in time perturbations of two new energy conservation laws for the Maxwell’s equations introduced in this paper.Furthermore,we prove that,in addition to two known discrete modified energy identities which are second-order in time perturbations of two known energy conservation laws,the ADI-FDTD scheme also satisfies two new discrete modified energy identities which are second-order in time perturbations of the two new energy conservation laws.This means that the ADI-FDTD scheme is unconditionally stable under the four discrete modified energy norms.Experimental results which confirm the theoretical results are presented.  相似文献

In this paper, finite volume method on unstructured meshes is studied for a parabolic convection-diffusion problem on an open bounded set of R^d (d = 2 or 3) with Robin boundary condition. Upwinding approximations are adapted to treat both the convection term and Robin boundary condition. By directly getting start from the formulation of the finite volume scheme, numerical analysis is done. By using several discrete functional analysis techniques such as summation by parts, discrete norm inequality, et al, the stability and error estimates on the approximate solution are established, existence and uniqueness of the approximate solution and the 1st order temporal norm and L^2 and H^1 spacial norm convergence properties are obtained.  相似文献

A numerical scheme for the Reissner-Mindlin plate model is proposed.The method is based on a discrete Helmholtz decomposition and can be viewed as a generalization of the nonconforming finite element scheme of Arnold and Falk[SIAM J.Numer.Anal.,26(6):1276-1290,1989].The two unknowns in the discrete formulation are the in-plane rotations and the gradient of the vertical displacement.The decomposition of the discrete shear variable leads to equivalence with the usual Stokes system with penalty term plus two Poisson equations and the proposed method is equivalent to a stabilized discretization of the Stokes system that generalizes the Mini element.The method is proved to satisfy a best-approximation result which is robust with respect to the thickness parameter t.  相似文献

Grochenig and Balan, Casazza, Heil, and Landau introduced the concepts of localization. The concepts were used to Gabor frames, wavelet frames and sampling theorem in recent years. Here they are applied to the frame of exponential windows with the conclusion that the frame of exponential windows is a Banach frame for a kind of Banach spaces, and the conclusion is also obtained about the relationship between frame bounds, frame density, measure and density of indexing set.  相似文献

In this paper we are concerned with the pricing of lookback options with American type constrains. Based on the differential linear complementary formula associated with the pricing problem, an implicit difference scheme is constructed and analyzed. We show that there exists a unique difference solution which is unconditionally stable. Using the notion of viscosity solutions, we also prove that the finite difference solution converges uniformly to the viscosity solution of the continuous problem. Furthermore, by means of the variational inequality analysis method, the O(△t + △x^2)-order error estimate is derived in the discrete L2-norm provided that the continuous problem is sufficiently regular. In addition, a numerical example is provided to illustrate the theoretical results.  相似文献

Abstract. This paper is concerned with the decentralized stabilization of continuous and discretelinear interconnected systems with the structural constraints about the interconnection matri-ces. For the continuous case,the main improvement in the paper as compared with the corre-sponding results in the literature is to extend the considered class of systems from S to S“ (bothwill be defined in the paper) without resulting in high decentralized gain and difficult numericalcomputation. This paper discusses convergence and complexity of arbitrary,but fixed,order adaptive mixed element methods for the Poisson equation in two and three dimensions.The two main ingredients in the analysis,namely the quasi-orthogonality and the discrete reliability,are achieved by use of a discrete Helmholtz decomposition and a discrete inf-sup condition.The adaptive algorithms are shown to be contractive for the sum of the error of flux in L2-norm and the scaled error estimator after each step of mesh refinement and to be quasi-optimal with respect to the number of elements of underlying partitions.The methods do not require a separate treatment for the data oscillation.  相似文献

In this paper some new parallel difference schemes with interface extrapolation terms for a quasi-linear parabolic system of equations are constructed. Two types of time extrapolations are proposed to give the interface values on the interface of sub-domains or the values adjacent to the interface points, so that the unconditional stable parallel schemes with the second accuracy are formed. Without assuming heuristically that the original boundary value problem has the unique smooth vector solution, the existence and uniqueness of the discrete vector solutions of the parallel difference schemes constructed are proved. Moreover the unconditional stability of the parallel difference schemes is justified in the sense of the continuous dependence of the discrete vector solution of the schemes on the discrete known data of the original problems in the discrete W2(2,1) (Q△) norms. Finally the convergence of the discrete vector solutions of the parallel difference schemes with interface extrapolation terms to the unique generalized solution of the original quasi-linear parabolic problem is proved. Numerical results are presented to show the good performance of the parallel schemes, including the unconditional stability, the second accuracy and the high parallelism.  相似文献

This work is concerned with the continuous dependence on initial values of solutions of stochastic functional differential equations(SFDEs) with state-dependent regime-switching. Due to the state-dependence, this problem is very different to the corresponding problem for SFDEs without switching or SFDEs with Markovian switching. We provide a method to overcome the intensive interaction between the continuous component and the discrete component based on a subtle application of Skorokhod's representation for jumping processes. Furthermore, we establish the strong convergence of Euler–Maruyama's approximations, and estimate the order of error. The continuous dependence on initial values of Euler–Maruyama's approximations is also investigated in the end.  相似文献

An effective continuous algorithm is proposed to find approximate solutions of NP-hardmax-cut problems.The algorithm relaxes the max-cut problem into a continuous nonlinearprogramming problem by replacing n discrete constraints in the original problem with onesingle continuous constraint.A feasible direction method is designed to solve the resultingnonlinear programming problem.The method employs only the gradient evaluations ofthe objective function,and no any matrix calculations and no line searches are required.This greatly reduces the calculation cost of the method,and is suitable for the solutionof large size max-cut problems.The convergence properties of the proposed method toKKT points of the nonlinear programming are analyzed.If the solution obtained by theproposed method is a global solution of the nonlinear programming problem,the solutionwill provide an upper bound on the max-cut value.Then an approximate solution to themax-cut problem is generated from the solution of the nonlinear programming and providesa lower bound on the max-cut value.Numerical experiments and comparisons on somemax-cut test problems(small and large size)show that the proposed algorithm is efficientto get the exact solutions for all small test problems and well satisfied solutions for mostof the large size test problems with less calculation costs.  相似文献
