Complete Convergence and Complete Moment Convergence for Maximal Weighted Sums of Extended Negatively Dependent Random Variables

In this paper,the complete convergence and complete moment convergence for maximal weighted sums of extended negatively dependent random variables are investigated.Some sufficient conditions for the convergence are provided.In addition,the Marcinkiewicz–Zygmund type strong law of large numbers for weighted sums of extended negatively dependent random variables is obtained.The results obtained in the article extend the corresponding ones for independent random variables and some dependent random variables.     

Complete Convergence for Weighted Sums of WOD Random Variables

In this article, we study the complete convergence for weighted sums of widely orthant dependent random variables. By using the exponential probability inequality, we establish a complete convergence result for weighted sums of widely orthant dependent ran-dom variables under mild conditions of weights and moments. The result obtained in the paper generalizes the corresponding ones for independent random variables and negatively dependent random variables.     

Complete Convergence for Weighted Sums of Negatively Sup eradditive Dep endent Random Variables

In the paper, the complete convergence for the maximum of weighted sums of negatively superadditive dependent(NSD, in short) random variables is investigated by using the Rosenthal type inequality. Some su?cient conditions are presented to prove the complete convergence. The result obtained in the paper generalizes some corresponding ones for independent random variables and negatively associated random variables.     

Complete Convergence of Weighted Sums for Arrays of Rowwise m-negatively Asso ciated Random Variables

In this paper, we discuss the complete convergence of weighted sums for arrays of rowwise m-negatively associated random variables. By applying moment inequality and truncation methods, the sufficient conditions of complete convergence of weighted sums for arrays of rowwise m-negatively associated random variables are established. These results generalize and complement some known conclusions.     

Complete moment convergence for ND random variables under the sub-linear expectations

In this article, we establish a general result on complete moment convergence for arrays of rowwise negatively dependent(ND) random variables under the sub-linear expectations. As applications, we can obtain a series of results on complete moment convergence for ND random variables under the sub-linear expectations.     

On the Strong Rates of Convergence for Arrays of Rowwise Extended Negatively Dependent Random Variables

A general result on the strong convergence rate and complete convergence for arrays of rowwise extended negatively dependent random variables is established. As applications, some well-known results on negatively dependent random variables can be easily extended to the case of arrays of rowwise extended negatively dependent random variables.     

Complete and complete moment convergence for weighted sums of widely orthant dependent random variables

In this paper, we establish a complete convergence result and a complete moment convergence result for weighted sums of widely orthant dependent random variables under mild conditions. As corollaries, the corresponding results for weighted sums of extended negatively orthant dependent random variables are also obtained, which generalize and improve the related known works in the literature.     

Convergence rates for probabilities of moderate deviations for moving average processes

The present paper first shows that, without any dependent structure assumptions for a sequence of random variables, the refined results of the complete convergence for the sequence is equivalent to the corresponding complete moment convergence of the sequence. Then this paper investigates the convergence rates and refined convergence rates （or complete moment convergence） for probabilities of moderate deviations of moving average processes. The results in this paper extend and generalize some well-known results.     

Probability Inequalities for Extended Negatively Dep endent Random Variables and Their Applications

Some probability inequalities are established for extended negatively dependent （END） random variables. The inequalities extend some corresponding ones for negatively associated random variables and negatively orthant dependent random variables. By using these probability inequalities, we further study the complete convergence for END random variables. We also obtain the convergence rate O（n-1/2 ln1/2 n） for the strong law of large numbers, which generalizes and improves the corresponding ones for some known results.     

Inequalities of Maximum of Partial Sums and Convergence Rates in the Strong Laws for ρ~-mixing Random Variables

In this paper,we establish a Rosenthal-type inequality of partial sums for ρ~mixing random variables.As its applications,we get the complete convergence rates in the strong laws for ρ~-mixing random variables.The result obtained extends the corresponding result.     

Equivalent Conditions of Complete Convergence for Weighted Sums of Sequences of Extended Negatively Dep endent Random Variables

By using Rosenthal type moment inequality for extended negatively dependent random variables, we establish the equivalent conditions of complete convergence for weighted sums of sequences of extended negatively dependent random variables under more general conditions. These results complement and improve the corresponding results obtained by Li et al.(Li D L, RAO M B, Jiang T F, Wang X C. Complete convergence and almost sure convergence of weighted sums of random variables. J. Theoret. Probab., 1995, 8: 49–76) and Liang(Liang H Y. Complete convergence for weighted sums of negatively associated random variables. Statist.Probab. Lett., 2000, 48: 317–325).

In this paper,we establish a Rosenthal-type inequality of partial sums for ρ~mixing random variables.As its applications,we get the complete convergence rates in the strong laws for ρ~-mixing random variables.The result obtained extends the corresponding result.     

A General Law of Precise Asymptotics for the Complete Moment Convergence

The authors achieve a general law of precise asymptotics for a new kind of complete moment convergence of i.i.d, random variables, which includes complete convergence as a special case. It can describe the relations among the boundary function, weighted function, convergence rate and limit value in studies of complete convergence. This extends and generalizes the corresponding results of Liu and Lin in 2006.

In this paper, the complete convergence of weighted sums for ρ*-mixing sequence of random variables is investigated. By applying moment inequality and truncation methods, the equivalent conditions of complete convergence of weighted sums for ρ*-mixing sequence of random variables are established. We not only promote and improve the results of Li et al. (J. Theoret. Probab., 1995, 8(1): 49-76) from i.i.d. to ρ*-mixing setting but also obtain their necessities and relax their conditions.     

Some Limit Theorems for Sequences of Pairwise NQD Random Variables

In this article, the authors study some limit properties for sequences of pairwise NQD random variables, which are not necessarily identically distributed. They obtain Baum and Katz complete convergence and the strong stability of Jamison＇s weighted sums for pairwise NQD random variables, which may have different distributions. Some wellknown results are improved and extended.

A maximal inequality for the partial sum of NA sequence is constructed.By using this inequality the complete convergence rates in the strong laws for a class of dependent random variables for weighted sums are discussed.The results obtained extend the results of Liang(1999, 2000).
