Conclusions 1. The chemical composition of mixtures of resin acids isolated from the balsams of native conifer species, Scotch, Crimean, and Siberian pines andP. hamota andP. pityusa, Norway spruce, and Siberian larch, has been studied by the GLC method.2. The following resin acids are present in the balsams: pimaric, sandaracopimaric, levopimaric, palustric, isopimaric, abietic, dehydro- and dihydroabietic, neoabietic, four acids of undetermined chemical structure, and fatty acids. The compositions of the lipids and fatty acids of the seeds ofCynoglossum officinale, familyBoraginaceae have been established. The bulk of the lipids consisted of netural compounds (95.2%), while the amounts of glycolipids and phospholipids were 3.1 and 1.7%, respectively. Among the fatty acids, in addition to the usual components, acids characteristic for theBoraginaceae family have been found: 18:3 (6, 9, 12), 18:3 (9, 12, 15), 18:4 (6, 9, 12, 15), 20:1 (11), 22:1 (13), and 24:1 (15). The Central Asian sea buckthorn growing in the province of Kansu in China (Hippophaë rhamnoides L.,subsp. turkestanica Rousi) [1] has been studied for the presence of biochemical substances: amino acids, microelements, proteins, carbohydrates, lipids, free fatty acids, vitamins A and C, and flavonoids. Summary The phospholipid complexes of the seeds ofErysimum diffusum andE. sylvestris have been investigated. It has been found that the amount of phospholipids in the seeds ofE. diffusum is lower than in those ofE. sylvestris, but their qualitative compositions are similar. The fatty-acid compositions of the triglycerides and of the total phospholipids of the two plants investigated have been studied. It has been established that the total phospholipids of the species ofErysimum under consideration and individual fractions of them differ by the degree of saturation and the qualitative and quantitative composition of the acids that they contain and, consequently, the phospholipids present in greatest amount differ in their molecular compositions.Institute of the Chemistry of Plant Substances, Academy of Sciences of the Uzbek SSR, Tashkent. The compositions of the neutral diterpenoids of the oleoresins of five species of conifers growing in the Transcarpathia have been studied. It has been found that the oleoresins ofAbies alba M.,Larix decidua M., andPicea excelsa L. contain more than 50% of neutral diterpenoids. The group and qualitative compositions of the oxygen-containing diterpenoids have been determined. In the oleoresins ofAbies alba,Picea excelsa, andPicea abies tertiary alcohols — cis-abienol and isocembrol — predominate, while inLarix decidua the main component is the hydroxy ester larixyl acetate. Primary alcohols related to the resin acids have been found in all the oleoresins investigated. Features of the distribution of diterpenoids according to the species of conifers have been revealed. The composition of the unsaturated and oxidized fatty acids and steroids of the lipids of the seeds ofPaliurus spina-christi has been determined. Among the unsaturated acids the 20:1 (11) was detected, while the 18:1 and 18:2 acids predominate. The oxidized acids are represented by the sum of the 9,10(12,13)-epoxy-12(9)-18:1, the 9,10-epoxy-18:0, the oxo-18:1, the oxo-18:2, the 12-hydroxy-9-18:1, and the 9-hydroxy-10,11-18:2 acids. The main component of the sterols is -sitosterol. It has been found that the composition of the acylglycerols of the lipids of the seeds ofP. spina-christi gathered in different years is variable.I. Abstract

Recently we have reported the application of N-diisobutylaluminoimines, generated in situ from nitriles and diisobutylaluminium hydride (Dibal-H), for the synthesis of 1-aminoalkanephosphonic acids [l]. In this paper we would like to present our results on the synthesis of 1-aminoalkanediphosphonic acids. Thus, starting from halogenonit-riles 1 (X = F, C1, Br), and following the procedure presented schematically by eqns. 1 and 2, 1?amino-halogenoalkanephosphonic acids 3A and 1-aminoalkanediphosphonic acids 4A have been obtained in moderate to good yields.  相似文献

Bile acid ester are useful intermediates in reaction schemes yielding bile alcohols2–5 and other acid derivatives. Reported methods for the preparation of bi le acid methyl or ethyl esters consist of dissolving the bile acid in a large excess of absolute alcohol (ei ther methanol or ethanol) containing a catalytic amount of concentrated mineral acid (either hydrochloric or sul furic). Alternately bile acid methyl esters have been prepared using diazomethane thus avoid the use of strong mineral acids. This very simple methods, presented howe ver several drawbacks. In the former method, the use of strong mineral acids, expecially hydrochloric acid, on polyhydroxy steroids, such as bile acids, can often cau se the formation of undesirable side products.  相似文献

Summary Acid hydrolysis (0.25M H2SO4) coupled with enzyme catalysis (pectolyase and β-D-glucuronidase) were employed to extract galacturonic and glucuronic acids from microbial polysaccharides, plant residues, animal wastes, sewage sludge and soil. The glycuronic acids were separated by high-performance anion chromatography (HPAC) on a strong anion-exchange column using 0.1M sodium hydroxide with 0.25M sodium acetate as the mobile phase and determined by pulsed amperometric detection (PAD). HPAC-PAD was found to be superior to high-performance liquid chromatography with ultra-violet (UV) detection in terms of resolution and sensitivity of glycuronic acids. HPAC-PAD was not subject to interferences present with low UV detection (210 nm) and was highly selective for glycuronic acids. Enzymatic hydrolysis after treatment with mild acid (0.25M H2SO4) released galacturonic acids from orange peel and pectin, while glucuronic acid was released from Acacia powder. Large amounts of glycuronic acids were also extracted from plant materials. Low levels of uronic acids were detected in poultry manure, sewage sludge and organic-amended soils.  相似文献

Abstract

The reaction of anthracene, 9-phenylanthracene and some 9-alkylanthracenes with dioxan-SO3 has been studied. Anthracene yields the 1-, 2- and 9-sulfonic acid in a ratio of 24 : 6 : 70. 9-Phenyl- and 9-neopentyl-anthracene both yield a mixture of the 4- and 10-sulfonic acids in a ratio of 33 : 67 and 15 : 85 respectively. Unexpectedly, 9-methylanthracene yields, in a more rapid reaction, exclusively 9-anthrylmethanesulfonic acid (1, R[dbnd]H) 9-Alkylanthracenes of which the alkyl group contains at least one α-H yield as main product (s) the α-sulfonic acids 1 and/or (depending on the further structure of the alkyl group) the sulfonic acids 24.  相似文献

Reaction of sodium 2-formylbenzenesulphonate (1) with thionyl chloride or phosphorous pentachloride gives a mixture of pseudo (2) and normal (3) sulphonyl chlorides. Whereas ammonium 2-carboxybenzenesulphonate (6) gives only the normal sulphonyl chloride (7) on reaction with thionyl chloride, a mixture of normal (7) and pseudo (8) isomers are formed on reaction with phosphorous pentachloride. Sodium 2-benzoylbenzenesulphonate (15), on the other hand, gives the corresponding normal sulphonyl chloride (16) on reaction with both of the reagents mentioned above. Based on these observations it is concluded that γ-keto sulphonic acids are amenable to the influence of γ-carbonyl group as in the case of γ-keto carboxylic acids but to a lesser extent.  相似文献

Conclusions A sulfated peptidoglycuronoglycan, pelvecyan, has been isolated from the brown algaP. wrightii. Its carbohydrate moiety contains D-galactose, D-mannose, D-xylose, L-fucose, and hexuronic acid residues. The lipopolysaccharides (LPSs) have been isolated from two blue-green algae,Oscillatoria hilderbrandtii andNostoc sp. by the method of phenol-water extraction. The LPSs contain polysaccharide and lipid components. The polysaccharide fraction fromO. hildebrandtii consists predominantly of 1,3-bound rhamnose residues with a substituent in the second position. The rhamnose residues in the polysaccharide fraction ofNostoc are connected by 1,3- and 1,2-glycosidic bonds. Abstract

In studies of the reverse phase, HPLC analysis of amino acids employing precolumn derivatization with o-phthalaldehyde and ethanethiol, it was shown that α-amino-n-butyric acid, β-amino-isobutyric acid and taurine coeluted in the acetonitrile/aqueous phosphate solvent system. By using a ternary solvent system of acetonitrile/tetrahydrofuran/aqueous phosphate buffer and efficient 5- and 10-μm octadecylsilane packings, the co-elution problem has been resolved. This modified chromatographic system is now being used to quantitatively determine taurine and other closely eluting amino acids in a variety of physiological fluids in order to clarify the role of taurine in human development.  相似文献
