Bifurcation of limit cycles to a perturbed integrable non-Hamiltonian system is investigated using both qualitative analysis and numerical exploration.The investigation is based on detection functions which are particularly effective for the perturbed integrable non-Hamiltonian system.The study reveals that the system has 3 limit cycles.By the method of numerical simulation,the distributed orderliness of the 3 limitcycles is observed,and their nicety places are determined.The study also indicates that each ...     

FIVE LIMIT CYCLES TO A CLASS OF SYSTEMS IN R~3

In this paper, a bridge between near-homogeneous and homogeneous vector fields in R 3 is found. By the relationship between homogeneous vector fields and the induced tangent vector fields of two-dimensional manifold S 2 , we prove the existence of at least 5 isolated closed orbits for a class of n + 1 (n ≥ 2) systems in R 3 , which are located on the five invariant closed cones of the system.

LIMIT CYCLES NEAR A DOUBLE HOMOCLINIC LOOP

In this article,we study the expansion of the first order Melnikov function in a near-Hamiltonian system on the plane near a double homoclinic loop.We obtain an explicit formula to compute the first four coeffcients,and then identify the method of finding at least 7 limit cycles near the double homoclinic loop using these coefficients.Finally,we present some interesting applications.

In this paper, a class of simplified Type-IV predator-prey system with linear state feedback is investigated. We prove the boundedness of the positive solutions to this system, and analyze the quality of the equilibria and the existence of limit cycles of the system surrounding the positive equilibra. By Hopf bifurcation theory, the result of having two limit cycles to the system is obtained.

SAME DISTRIBUTION OF LIMIT CYCLES TO PERTURBED CUBIC HAMILTONIAN SYSTEMS WITH DIFFERENT PERTURBATIONS

Using qualitative analysis, we study perturbed Hamiltonian systems with different n-th order polynomial as perturbation terms. By numerical simulation, we show that these perturbed systems have the same distribution of limit cycles. Our results imply that these perturbed systems are equivalent in the sense of distribution of limit cycles. This is useful for studying limit cycles of perturbed systems.     

LIMIT CYCLES BIFURCATION FOR A CLASS OF DEGENERATE SINGULARITY

In this paper, bifurcation of limit cycles for the degenerate equilibrium to a three- dimensional system is investigated. Firstly, we use formal series to calculate the focal values at the high-order critical point on center manifold. Then an example is studied, and the existence of 3 limit cycles on the center manifold is proved. In terms of high- order singularities in high-dimensional systems, our results are new.

极限环的表达式和计算

本文提出一种解析法和数值法相结合的方法，用来计算多项式微分系统的极限环，极限环表示为x=∑k≥0(ak cos kφ bk sin kφ),y=∑k≥0(ck cos kφ dk sin kφ)，先用解析法求出小参数时极限环的初始表达式，然后用增量法和迭代法求出任意参数时极限环满足给定精度的表达式，半稳定极限环和分叉值也可以计算。

We study the limit cycles of wide classes of perturbed Li′enard equations, which can be seen as a particular perturbation of the harmonic oscillator, using the averaging theory. We illustrate this study with many applications.
