We perform a study of the final-state interactions of the K + and the d systems in the reactions ppdK + and ppdπ+η. Since the two-meson system couples strongly to the a 0(980) resonance, these reactions are expected to be an additional source of information about the controversial scalar sector. We also show that these reactions present peculiar features which can shed additional light on the much debated meson-baryon scalar sector with strangeness -1. We deduce the general structure of the amplitudes close to the dK + threshold, allowing for primary K + as well as π+η production with the two mesons in relative S- or P-wave. The interactions of the mesons are accounted for by using chiral unitary techniques, which generate dynamically the a 0(980) resonance, and the d interaction is also taken into account. General formulae are derived that allow to incorporate the final-state interactions in these systems for any model of the production mechanism. We illustrate this approach by considering two specific production mechanisms based on three flavor meson-baryon chiral perturbation theory. It is demonstrated that in this scenario the d interactions are very important and can change the cross-section by as much as one order of magnitude. The amount of π+ηversus K + production is shown to depend critically on the primary mixture of the two mechanisms, with large interference effects due to final-state interactions. These effects are also shown to occur in the event distributions of invariant masses which are drastically modified by the final-state interactions of the two-meson or the d system. We investigate the reactions πNa 0 N and ppda 0 + near threshold and at medium energies. An effective Lagragian approach and the Regge pole model are applied to analyze different contributions to the cross-section of the reaction πNa 0 N. These results are used to calculate the differential and total cross-sections of the reaction ppda 0 + within the framework of the two-step model in which two nucleons produce an a0-meson via π-meson exchange and fuse to a deuteron. The necessity of new measurements on a0 production and branching fractions (of its decay to the K and πη channels) is emphasized for clarifying the a0 structure. Detailed predictions for the reaction ppda 0 + are presented for the energy regime of the proton synchrotron COSY-Jülich. Received: 4 August 2000 / Accepted: 17 September 2000  相似文献

The cross-sections for the reactions of the strange production p + p ↦ p + Λ + K+ and p + p ↦ p + Σ0 + K+ near thresholds of the final states pΛK+ and pΣ0K+ are calculated in the effective Lagrangian approach. Our approach is based on the dominant contribution of the one-pion exchange and strong interaction of the colliding protons in the initial state. The theoretical values of the cross-sections agree reasonably well with the experimental data. The polarization properties of the Λ- and Σ0-hyperons are discussed.  相似文献

The reaction γd↦π+nn is calculated up to order χ5/2 in chiral perturbation theory, where χ denotes the ratio of the pion to the nucleon mass. Special emphasis is put on the role of nucleon recoil corrections that are the source of contributions with fractional power in χ. Using the known near-threshold production amplitude for γp↦π+n as the only input, the total cross-section for γd↦π+nn is described very well. A conservative estimate suggests that the theoretical uncertainty for the transition operator amounts to 3% for the computed amplitude near threshold.  相似文献

We investigate the reaction ppda 0 + at COSY and SIS energies together with accompanying background reactions and inclusive particle yields. The a 0 + is considered as a usual u quark model state with two decay channels a 0 +K + and a 0 +↦π+η. Calculated cross-sections for a 0 + production as well as for the corresponding non-resonant channels ppdK + and ppdπ+η are compared. Especially, in case of the final channel dπ+η, high statistics measurements are necessary to extract the a 0 + signal from the high non-resonant background. Polarization properties of strange baryons produced in pp reactions, p + p↦p + Λ0 + K+ and p + p↦p + Σ0 + K+, near thresholds of the final states pΛ0K+ and pΣ0K+ are analysed relative to polarizations of colliding protons. The cross-sections for pp reactions are calculated within the effective Lagrangian approach accounting for strong pp rescattering in the initial state of colliding protons with a dominant contribution of the one-pion exchange and strong final-state interaction of daughter hadrons (Eur. BES II data for J/Ψ↦K *(890)Kπ reveal a strong κ peak in the Kπ S-wave near threshold. Both magnitude and phase are determined in slices of Kπ mass by interferences with strong K 0(1430), K 1(1270) and K 1(1400) signals. The phase variation with mass agrees within errors with LASS data for Kπ elastic scattering. A combined fit is presented to both BES and LASS data. The fit uses a Breit-Wigner amplitude with an s-dependent width containing an Adler zero. The κ pole is at (760±20(stat)±40(syst)) - i(420±45(stat)±60(syst)) MeV. The S-wave I = 0 scattering length a 0 = 0.23±0.04 m π -1 is close to the prediction 0.19±0.02 m π -1 of Chiral Perturbation Theory at O(p 4). An erratum to this article can be found at .  相似文献

为探索原子核中的集体运动,一项在意大利Legnaro实验室XTU串列加速器上开展的在束${\rm{\gamma }}$谱学实验研究大幅拓展了130Ba的能级结构。实验以能量为65 MeV的13C束流轰击120Sn薄靶,布居130Ba的激发态。从激发态退激的${\rm{\gamma }}$射线由GALILEO阵列探测,而与之关联的蒸发粒子由带电粒子阵列EUCLIDES和中子墙NWALL探测。分析符合数据鉴别了一系列新的转动带,其中一部分布居9.4 ms同核异能态。结合已知的电四极矩和磁矩信息,提取了该同核异能态的g因子。分析多条转动带,发现130Ba可能处于长椭形变,也可能处于扁椭形变,而其集体转动方向可能沿主轴,也可能沿主轴以外的倾斜方向。这是首次在130核区发现沿倾斜方向的集体转动。理论分析建议将部分新发现的结构解释为基于二准粒子组态的摇摆运动,这是实验上在偶偶核中观测到的首例基于两准粒子组态的摇摆带结构。  相似文献

The isoscalar-isovector (ρ-ω) interferences in the exclusive reactions π- pne + e - and π+ npe + e - near the ω threshold leads to a distinct difference of the dielectron invariant-mass distributions depending on beam energy. The strength of this effect is determined by the coupling of resonances to the nucleon vector-meson channels and other resonance properties. Experimental limits on half-lives of the (0ν + 2ν)ββ decay of 130Te to excited states of 130Xe are obtained using low-background HPGe detectors. At the 90% CL, these limits are equal to 1.6 . 1021 y, 2.7 . 1021 y and 2.3 . 1021 y for transitions to the 2+ 1, 2+ 2 and 0+ 1 levels, respectively. In a combined analysis of the experimental data on the coupled processes ππ↦ππ, KˉK in the channel with I G J PC = 0+0+ +, the various scenarios of these reactions (with different numbers of resonances) are considered. In a model-independent approach, based only on analyticity and unitarity, a resonance is represented by a pole cluster (poles on the Riemann surface) of the definite type that is defined by the state nature. The best scenario contains the resonances f 0(665) (with properties of the σ-meson), f 0(980) (with a dominant sˉs component), f 0(1500) (with a dominant flavour-singlet, e.g., glueball component) and the f 0(1710) (with a considerable sˉs component). If the f 0(1370) exists, it has a dominant sˉs component. The coupling constants of the observed states with the considered channels and the ππ and KˉK scattering lengths are obtained. The conclusion on the linear realization of chiral symmetry is drawn. 评述了A~130过渡区I、Xe、Cs和Ba核的高自旋核结构研究.在这些核中观测到的极为丰富的核结构现象,如质子中子转排竞争、形状共存、带终结、带交叉延迟、Signature反转和八极关联等与这些核的价质子、价中子都位于h11/2支壳及这些核易产生γ形变有关. The studies of high spins states of A ~130 transitional I,Xe,Cs and Ba nuclei are reviewed. The Chiral doublets for nuclei in A≈100 and 130 regions have been studied with the particle-rotor model. The experimental spectra of chiral partner bands for four N=75 isotones in A≈region have been well reproduced by the calculation with the configuration πh_(11/2)νh~(-1)_(11/2). The possible chiral doublets in A≈100 region have been predicted by the particle-rotor model (PRM) with the configuration πg_(9/2) νg~(-1)_(9/2) based on the analysis of the B(M1) and B(E2) transition probabilities.  相似文献

130Pm and 128Pr were produced by irradiation of 96Ru with 36Ar, and studied using a He-jet recoil tape transport system. Based on X-% and %-% coincidence measurements, the (EC+ # +) decay scheme of 130Pm was proposed for the first time and the (EC+ # +) decay scheme of 128Pr was revised.  相似文献

通过重离子核反应与在束γ谱的实验技术, 对A=130缺中子核区的134Ce,136La与122Cs核的高自旋态进行了研究, 实验结果扩展了134Ce,136La与122Cs的能级纲图. 由于在此区内质子与中子的形状驱动效应, 在这3个核中各自形成了具有显著特点的集体转动带: 134Ce$核的高自旋态结构中呈现出具有不同γ形变的形状共存特性;在136La中,扩展了πh11/2⊙νh11/2带, 对其特性进行了讨论, 并发现了两个γ≈-60°的扁椭形变带; 在122Cs$中发现可能是属于手征二重带的结构. 而对于在最近国外报道的134Ce$核中的磁转动带没有被我们的实验所证实.  相似文献

通过束流能量为73MeV的116Sn(16O,2n)130Ce重离子反应,利用多普勒展宽峰的形状分析方法,测量了轻稀土核130Ce激发态的寿命.通过这些测量提取约化跃迁几率B(E2).实验结果表明,在本工作中没有观察到过去报道的B(E2)异常高的值;转晕带的跃迁四极矩随自旋而变化,呈现γ≈7°的三轴形变.  相似文献
