We report a blue laser at 452 nm generation by intracavity frequency doubling of a continuous wave (cw) laser operation of a 904 nm Nd:LGS laser under 808 nm diode pumping. A LiB3O5 (LBO) crystal, cut for critical type I phase matching at room temperature is used for second harmonic generation (SHG) of the laser. At an incident pump power of 17.8 W, as high as 1.14 W of cw output power at 452 nm is achieved. The optical-to-optical conversion efficiency is up to 6.4%, and the fluctuation of the blue output power was better than 4.1% in the given 30 min.  相似文献

We report a green laser at 541.5 nm generation by intracavity frequency doubling of a continuous wave (cw) laser operation of a 1083 nm Nd:GdVO4 laser under 880 nm diode pumping into the emitting level 4 F 3/2. A LiB3O5 (LBO) crystal, cut for critical type I phase matching at room temperature is used for second harmonic generation of the laser. At an incident pump power of 17.8 W, as high as 2.52 W of cw output power at 541.5 nm is achieved. We report a green laser at 532 nm generation by intracavity frequency doubling of a continuous wave (cw) laser operation of a 1064 nm Nd:Y0.5Gd0.5VO4 laser under diode pumping into the emitting level 4 F 3/2. A KTiOPO4 (KTP) crystal, cut for critical type-II phase matching at room temperature is used for second harmonic generation (SHG) of the laser. At an incident pump power of 17.8 W, as high as 4.21 W of cw output power at 532 nm is achieved. The optical-to-optical conversion efficiency is up to 23.6%, and the fluctuation of the green output power was better than 2.8% in the given 30 min.  相似文献

An GdCa4O(BO3)3 (GdCOB) crystal, cut for critical type I phase matching at room temperature is used for second harmonic generation of the laser. At an incident pump power of 17.8 W, as high as 1.12 W of cw output power at 671 nm is achieved. We report an efficient intracavity second-harmonic generation (SHG) at 1359 nm in a non-linear optical crystal, LiB3O5 (LBO), performed with a diode end pumped continuous-wave (cw) Nd:Lu2O3 laser. In the case of a laser with a Nd:Lu2O3 crystal frequency-doubled with a LBO crystal cut for type I frequency doubling. A cw SHG output power of 462 mW has been obtained using a 10 mm long LBO crystal. The red power stability was 3.4% in 4 h.  相似文献

We report efficient laser emission on the 914 nm 4 F 3/2 to 4 I 9/2 transition in Nd:YVO4 under the pump with diode lasers at 888 nm for the first time. Continuous wave 6.57 W output power at 914 nm is obtained from a V-type resonator under 18.3 W of absorbed pump power; the slope efficiency with respect to the absorbed pump power was 60.6%. Moreover, intracavity frequency doubling with BiB3O6 (BiBO) nonlinear crystal yielded 1.77 W of deep-blue light at 457 nm with beam quality characterized by an M2 factor of 1.25.  相似文献

Efficient cw intracavity frequency doubling of a diode-end-pumped Nd:YAG laser operating on 4 F 3/24 I 9/2 transitions at 946 nm has been demonstrated. A symmetrical cavity with two composite laser rods was designed, which divides the pump power between the two composite laser rods, allowing for greater power scalability. A 30-mm-long LiB3O5 (LBO) crystal, cut for critical type I phase matching at 57 °C, was used for the intracavity frequency doubling of the laser. A maximum output power of 3.8 W in the blue spectral range at 473 nm has been achieved at 39 W of pump power. The beam quality M2 value is 2.3 in both horizontal and vertical dimensions. We report the efficient compacted deep-blue laser at 456 nm generation by intra-cavity frequency doubling of a continuous-wave (cw) laser operation of a diode-pumped Nd:GdVO4 laser on the 4 F 3/24 I 9/2 transition at 912 nm. The different long LiB3O5 (LBO) crystals, cut for critical type I phase matching at room temperature, are used for second harmonic generation (shg) of the laser. At an incident pump power of 30 W, up to 5.3 W of cw output power at 456 nm is achieved with 15-mm-long LBO (3.8 W with 10 mm-long LBO). We report a laser architecture to obtain continuous-wave (cw) blue radiation at 462 nm. A 808 nm diode-pumped the Nd:YVO4 crystal emitting at 914 nm. A part of the pump power was then absorbed by the Nd:YVO4 crystal. The remaining was used to pump the Nd:CNGG crystal emitting at 935 nm. Intracavity sum-frequency mixing at 914 and 935 nm was then realized in a LiB3O5 (LBO) crystal to reach the blue radiation. We obtained a continuous-wave output power of 892 mW at 462 nm with a pump laser diode emitting 18.4 W at 808 nm.  相似文献

We report a high-power continuous-wave(cw) diode-pumped efficient 1.34 μm Nd:YVO4 laser. The laser properties of a low Nd3+-doped concentration of the Nd:YVO4 crystal operating at 1.34 μm formed with a simple plane-concave cavity have been demonstrated. With the incident pump power of 22 W, an output power of 8.24 W was obtained, giving an optical conversion efficiency of 37.5% and slope efficiency of 40%. The thermal effects of cw end-pumped solid-state lasers were studied.  相似文献

In this paper, we report the polarization absorption spectra from 400 to 850 nm, polarization emission spectra from 1050 to 1100 nm and laser properties of an Nd:GdVO4 crystal. An output power of up to 5.29 W at 1.06 μm has been achieved with a 3×3×3 mm Nd:GdVO4 crystal sample when it is pumped by a cw laser diode.  相似文献

We investigate the output performance of the 1.06 μm 4F3/24I11/2 transition in Nd:GdVO4 and Nd:YVO4 thin-disk lasers under multi-pass pumping with diode lasers at 0.81 μm and at 0.88 μm, which corresponds to direct in-band pumping of the 4F3/2 emitting level. The use of a pump module with 24 passes through the crystal allowed the realization of an in-band pumped Nd:GdVO4 thin-disk laser with 14.9 W of continuous wave (cw) output power at 1.06 μm; the overall optical-to-optical efficiency was 0.50 and the slope efficiency with respect to the incident pump power was 0.52. Intracavity frequency-doubling of the Nd:GdVO4 thin-disk laser with a LiB3O5 (LBO) nonlinear crystal yielded 9.1 W of cw output power in the green at 0.53 μm with an overall optical-to-optical efficiency of 0.31.  相似文献

We report efficient, diode-pumped, self-frequency doubling (SFD) in the newly developed laser crystal Nd3+:Na3La9O3(BO3)8 (Nd:NLBO). More than 730?mW of fundamental output power at 1072?nm was achieved with a slope efficiency of 16.2%. With incident pump power of 8?W, 29?mW of green cw laser emission at 536?nm was observed with proper phase matching. This initial performance and the good optical properties of the crystalline host are encouraging for the development of a high power diode-pumped SFD visible light laser source.  相似文献

We describe the output performances of the 1073 nm 4 F 3/24 I 11/2 transition (generally used for a 1064 nm transition) in Nd3+:YAlO3 (Nd:YAP) under in-band pumping with diode laser at the 803 nm wavelength. An end-pumped Nd:YAP crystal yielded 390 mW of continuous-wave (CW) output power for 17.8 W of incident pump power. Moreover, intracavity second-harmonic generation has also been achieved with a power of 38 mW at 536 nm by using a LiB3O5 (LBO) nonlinear crystal. It is reported that efficient continuous-wave (CW) green laser generation at 532 nm in a KTP crystal at type-II phase matching direction performed with a diode-pumped Nd:LGS laser. With incident pump power of 18.2 W, output power of 2.68 W at 532 nm has been obtained using a 5 mm-long KTP crystal. The optical conversion efficiency was up to 14.7%. At the output power level of 2.68 W, the output stability is better than 3.5%. The beam quality M 2 values were equal to 1.33 and 1.19 in X and Y directions, respectively.  相似文献

An end-pumped Nd:YAG crystal yielded 680 mW of continuous-wave (CW) output power for 18.2 W of incident pump power. Moreover, intracavity second-harmonic generation (SHG) has also been achieved with a power of 97 mW at 558 nm by using a LiB3O5 (LBO) nonlinear crystal.
