[Ru(IV)(2,6-Cl2tpp)Cl2], prepared in 90 % yield from the reaction of [Ru(VI)(2,6-Cl2tpp)O2] with Me3SiCl and structurally characterized by X-ray crystallography, is markedly superior to [Ru(IV)(tmp)Cl2], [Ru(IV)(ttp)Cl2], and [Ru(II)(por)(CO)] (por=2,6-Cl2tpp, F20-tpp, F28-tpp) as a catalyst for alkene epoxidation with 2,6-Cl2pyNO (2,6-Cl2tpp=meso-tetrakis(2,6-dichlorophenyl)porphyrinato dianion; tmp=meso-tetramesitylporphyrinato dianion; ttp=meso-tetrakis(p-tolyl)porphyrinato dianion; F20-tpp=meso-tetrakis(pentafluorophenyl)porphyrinato dianion; F28-tpp=2,3,7,8,12,13,17,18-octafluoro-5,10,15,20-tetrakis(pentafluorophenyl)porphyrinato dianion). The "[Ru(IV)(2,6-Cl2tpp)Cl2]+2,6-Cl2pyNO" protocol oxidized, under acid-free conditions, a wide variety of hydrocarbons including 1) cycloalkenes, conjugated enynes, electron-deficient alkenes (to afford epoxides), 2) arenes (to afford quinones), and 3) Delta5-unsaturated steroids, Delta4-3-ketosteroids, and estratetraene derivatives (to afford epoxide/ketone derivatives of steroids) in up to 99 % product yield within several hours with up to 100 % substrate conversion and excellent regio- or diastereoselectivity. Catalyst [Ru(IV)(2,6-Cl2tpp)Cl2] is remarkably active and robust toward the above oxidation reactions, and turnover numbers of up to 6.4x10(3), 2.0x10(4), and 1.6x10(4) were obtained for the oxidation of alpha,beta-unsaturated ketones, arenes, and Delta5-unsaturated steroids, respectively.  相似文献

[Ru(II)(F(20)-tpp)(CO)] (1, F(20)-tpp=meso-tetrakis(pentafluorophenyl)porphyrinato dianion) was covalently attached to poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) through the reaction of 1 with PEG and sodium hydride in DMF. The water-soluble PEG-supported ruthenium porphyrin (PEG-1) is an efficient catalyst for 2,6-Cl(2)pyNO oxidation and PhI==NTs aziridination/amidation of hydrocarbons, and intramolecular amidation of sulfamate esters with PhI(OAc)(2). Oxidation of PEG-1 by m-CPBA in CH(2)Cl(2), dioxane, or water afforded a water-soluble PEG-supported dioxoruthenium(VI) porphyrin (PEG-2), which could react with hydrocarbons to give oxidation products in up to 80 % yield. The behavior of the two PEG-supported ruthenium porphyrin complexes in water was probed by NMR spectroscopy and dynamic light-scattering measurements. PEG-2 is remarkably stable to water. The second-order rate constants (k(2)) for the oxidation of styrene and ethylbenzene by PEG-2 in dioxane-water increase with water content, and the k(2) values at a water content of 70 % or 80 % are up to 188 times that obtained in ClCH(2)CH(2)Cl.  相似文献

[reaction: see text] A ruthenium porphyrin-catalyzed stereoselective intramolecular carbenoid C[bond]H insertion is described. Using [Ru(II)(TTP)(CO)] as catalyst, aryl tosylhydrazones are converted to 2,3-dihydrobenzofurans, 2,3-dihydroindoles, and beta-lactams in good yields and remarkable cis selectivity (up to 99%). Enantioselective synthesis of 2,3-dihydrobenzofurans is also achieved with [Ru(II)(D(4)-Por*)(CO)] as catalyst, and up to 96% ee is attained.  相似文献

Extensive investigations of asymmetric intermolecular cyclopropanation of terminal alkenes with diazoacetates catalyzed by ruthenium porphyrin [Ru(P*)(CO)(EtOH)] (1, H2P = 5,10,15,20-tetrakis[(1S,4R,5R,8S)-1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8-octahydro-1,4:5,8-dimethanoanthracene-9-yl]porphyrin) and the application of catalyst 1 to asymmetric intramolecular cyclopropanation of allylic or homoallylic diazoacetates are described. The intermolecular cyclopropanation of styrene and its derivatives with ethyl diazoacetate afforded the corresponding cyclopropyl esters in up to 98% ee with high trans/cis ratios of up to 36 and extremely high catalyst turnovers of up to 1.1 x 10(4). Examination of the effects of temperature, diazoacetate, solvent, and substituent in the intermolecular cyclopropanation reveals that (i) both enantioselectivity and trans selectivity increase with decreasing temperature, (ii) sterically encumbered diazoacetates N2CHCO2R, such as R = Bu(t), and donor solvents, such as diethyl ether and tetrahydrofuran, are beneficial to the trans selectivity, and (iii) electron-donating para substituents on styrene accelerate the cyclopropanations, with the log(k(X)/k(H)) vs sigma(+) plot for para-substituted styrenes p-X-C6H4CH=CH2 (X = MeO, Me, Cl, CF3) exhibiting good linearity with a small negative rho(+) value of -0.44 +/- 0.09. In the case of intramolecular cyclopropanation, complex 1 promoted the decomposition of a series of allylic diazoacetates to form the cyclopropyl lactones in up to 85% ee, contributing the first efficient metalloporphyrin catalyst for an asymmetric intramolecular cyclopropanation. Both the inter- and intramolecular cyclopropanations were proposed to proceed via a reactive chiral ruthenium carbene intermediate. The enantioselectivities in these processes were rationalized on the basis of the X-ray crystal structures of closely related stable chiral carbene complexes [Ru(P*)(CPh2)] (2) and [Ru(P*)(C(Ph)CO2CH2CH=CH2)] (3) obtained from reactions of complex 1 with N2CPh2 and N2C(Ph)CO2CH2CH=CH2, respectively.  相似文献

Attachment of Fréchet-type poly(benzyl ether) dendrons [G-n] to carbonylruthenium(II) meso-tetraphenylporphyrin (5) using covalent etheric bonds forms a series of dendritic ruthenium(II) porphyrins 5-[G-n](m) (m=4, n=1, 2; m=8, n=0-2). The attachment was realized by treating the carbonylruthenium(II) complex of 5,10,15,20- tetrakis(4'-hydroxyphenyl)porphyrin or 5,10,15,20-tetrakis(3',5'-dihydroxyphenyl)porphyrin with [G-n]OSO(2)Me in refluxing dry acetone in the presence of potassium carbonate and [18]crown-6. Complexes 5-[G-n](m) were characterized by UV/Vis, IR, and NMR spectroscopy and mass spectrometry. All of the dendritic ruthenium porphyrins are highly selective catalysts for epoxidation of alkenes with 2,6-dichloropyridine N-oxide (Cl(2)pyNO). The chemo- or diastereoselectivity increases with the generation number of the dendron and the number of dendrons attached to 5, and complex 5-[G-2](8) exhibits remarkable selectivity or turnover number in catalyzing the Cl(2)pyNO epoxidation of a variety of alkene substrates including styrene, trans-/cis-stilbene, 2,2-dimethylchromene, cyclooctene, and unsaturated steroids such as cholesteryl esters and estratetraene derivative. The cyclopropanation of styrene and its para-substituted derivatives with ethyl diazoacetate catalyzed by 5-[G-2](8) is highly trans selective.  相似文献

Fast catalytic hydroxylation of hydrocarbons with ruthenium porphyrins   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
Ruthenium porphyrin complexes such as carbonylruthenium(II) tetrakispentafluorophenylporphyrin [Ru(II)(TPFPP)(CO)] were found to be efficient catalysts for the hydroxylation of alkanes in the presence of 2,6-dichloropyridine N-oxide as the oxidant under mild, nonacidic conditions. Up to 14 800 turnovers (TO) and rates of 800 TO/min were obtained for the hydroxylation of adamantane. The hydroxylation of cis-decalin afforded cis-9-decalol and cis-decalin-9,10-diol, exclusively, thus, excluding a long-lived radicals mechanism. The kinetics of product evolution in a typical catalytic oxygenation showed an initial induction period followed by a fast, apparently zero-order phase with maximum rates and high efficiencies. Deuterium isotope effects (kH/kD) in the range of 4.2-6.4 were found for the hydroxylation of alkanes. A Hammett treatment of the data for the oxidation of para-substituted toluene derivatives showed a linear correlation with a highly negative rho+ value of -2.0. On the basis of kinetic and spectroscopic evidence, Ru(VI)(TPFPP)(O)2, Ru(II)(TPFPP)(CO), and Ru(IV)(TPFPP)Cl2 observed during catalysis were ruled out as candidates for the active catalyst responsible for the high efficiencies and turnover rates in the oxidation reactions. The fastest rates of adamantane hydroxylation with 2,6-dichloropyridine N-oxide were achieved by the reductive activation of Ru(IV)(TPFPP)Cl2 with a zinc amalgam. This redox activation is consistent with the formation of an active Ru(III) intermediate in situ by a one-electron reduction of the Ru(IV) porphyrin. EPR spectra characteristic of Ru(III) have been observed upon the reduction of Ru(IV)(TPFPP)Cl2 with a zinc amalgam. In the adamantane oxidation mediated with Ru(III)(TPFPP)(OEt), it was found that, during this process, the Ru(III) porphyrin was gradually converted to a dioxoRu(VI) porphyrin. Concomitant with this conversion, the reaction rates decreased. Catalyst activation was also stimulated by autoxidation of the solvent CH2Cl2. On the basis of these data, a mechanism is proposed that incorporates a "fast" cycle involving metastable Ru(III) and oxoRu(V) intermediates and a "slow" oxidation cycle, mediated by oxoRu(IV) and trans-dioxoRu(VI) porphyrin complexes.  相似文献

Epoxidation of olefin by [Ru(TMP)(CO)(O)](-) (TMP = tetramesitylporphine), which is a key step of the photocatalyzed epoxidation of olefin by [Ru(TMP)(CO)], is studied mainly with the density functional theory (DFT) method, where [Ru(Por)(CO)] is employed as a model complex (Por = unsubstituted porphyrin). The CASSCF method was also used to investigate the electronic structure of important species in the catalytic cycle. In all of the ruthenium porphyrin species involved in the catalytic cycle, the weight of the main configuration of the CASSCF wave function is larger than 85%, suggesting that the static correlation is not very large. Also, unrestricted-DFT-calculated natural orbitals are essentially the same as CASSCF-calculated ones, here. On the basis of these results, we employed the DFT method in this work. Present computational results show characteristic features of this reaction, as follows: (i) The epoxidation reaction occurs via carboradical-type transition state. Neither carbocation-type nor concerted oxene-insertion-type character is observed in the transition state. (ii) Electron and spin populations transfer from the olefin moiety to the porphyrin ring in the step of the C-O bond formation. (iii) Electron and spin populations of the olefin and porphyrin moieties considerably change around the transition state. (iv) The atomic and spin populations of Ru change little in the reaction, indicating that the Ru center keeps the +II oxidation state in the whole catalytic cycle. (v) The stability of the olefin adduct [Ru(Por)(CO)(O)(olefin)](-) considerably depends on the kind of olefin, such as ethylene, n-hexene, and styrene. In particular, styrene forms a stable olefin adduct. And, (vi) interestingly, the difference in the activation barrier among these olefins is small in the quantitative level (within 5 kcal/mol), indicating that this catalyst can be applied to various substrates. This is because the stabilities and electronic structures of both the olefin adduct and the transition state are similarly influenced by the substituent of olefin.  相似文献

Reactions of dioxoruthenium(VI) porphyrins, [Ru(VI)O2(Por)], with p-chloroaniline, trimethylamine, tert-butylamine, p-nitroaniline, and diphenylamine afforded bis(amine)ruthenium(II) porphyrins, [Ru(II)(Por)(L)2] (L-p-ClC6H4NH2, Me3N, Por=TTP, 4-Cl-TPP; L=tBuNH2, Por = TPP, 3,4,5-MeO-TPP, TTP, 4-Cl-TPP, 3,5-Cl-TPP) and bis(amido)ruthenium(IV) porphyrins, [Ru(IV)(Por)(X)2] (X=p-NO2C6H4NH, Por=TTP, 4-Cl-TPP; X = Ph2N, Por = 3,4,5-MeO-TPP, 3,5-Cl-TPP), respectively. Oxidative deprotonation of [Ru(II)(Por)(NH2-p-C6H4Cl)2] in chloroform by air generated bis(arylamido)ruthenium(IV) porphyrins, [RuIV(Por)(NH-p-C6H4Cl)2] (Por=TTP. 4-Cl-TPP). Oxidation of [RuII(Por)-(NH2tBu)2] by bromine in dichloromethane in the presence of tert-butylamine and traces of water produced oxo(imido)ruthenium(VI) porphyrins, [RuVI-O(Por)(NtBu)] (Por=TPP, 3,4,5-MeO-TPP, TTP, 4-Cl-TPP, 3,5-Cl-TPP). These new classes of ruthenium complexes were characterized by 1H NMR, IR, and UV/visible spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, and elemental analysis. The structure of [Ru(IV)(TTP)(NH-p-C6H4Cl)2 . CH2Cl2 was determined by X-ray crystallography. The Ru-N bond length and the Ru-N-C angle of the Ru-NHAr moiety are 1.956(7) A and 135.8(6) degrees, respectively.  相似文献

Ruthenium porphyrins [Ru(F(20)-TPP)(CO)] (F(20)-TPP = 5,10,15,20-tetrakis(pentafluorophenyl)porphyrinato dianion) and [Ru(Por*)(CO)] (Por = 5,10,15,20-tetrakis[(1S,4R,5R,8S)-1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8-octahydro-1,4:5,8-dimethanoanthracen-9-yl]porphyrinato dianion) catalyzed intramolecular amidation of sulfamate esters p-X-C(6)H(4)(CH(2))(2)OSO(2)NH(2) (X = Cl, Me, MeO), XC(6)H(4)(CH(2))(3)OSO(2)NH(2) (X = p-F, p-MeO, m-MeO), and Ar(CH(2))(2)OSO(2)NH(2) (Ar = naphthalen-1-yl, naphthalen-2-yl) with PhI(OAc)(2) to afford the corresponding cyclic sulfamidates in up to 89% yield with up to 100% substrate conversion; up to 88% ee was attained in the asymmetric intramolecular amidation catalyzed by [Ru(Por)(CO)]. Reaction of [Ru(F(20)-TPP)(CO)] with PhI[double bond]NSO(2)OCH(2)CCl(3) (prepared by treating the sulfamate ester Cl(3)CCH(2)OSO(2)NH(2) with PhI(OAc)(2)) afforded a bis(imido)ruthenium(VI) porphyrin, [Ru(VI)(F(20)-TPP)(NSO(2)OCH(2)CCl(3))(2)], in 60% yield. A mechanism involving reactive imido ruthenium porphyrin intermediate was proposed for the ruthenium porphyrin-catalyzed intramolecular amidation of sulfamate esters. Complex [Ru(F(20)-TPP)(CO)] is an active catalyst for intramolecular aziridination of unsaturated sulfonamides with PhI(OAc)(2), producing corresponding bicyclic aziridines in up to 87% yield with up to 100% substrate conversion and high turnover (up to 2014).  相似文献

The phosphonated ruthenium complex, [Ru(tpy-PO(3)H(2))(OH(2))(3)](2+) (1) (tpy-PO(3)H(2) = 4'-phosphonato-2,2':6',2' '-terpyridine), was synthesized and attached to glass|ITO or glass|ITO|TiO(2) electrodes. After attachment to the metal oxide surface through the phosphonate linkage, 1 can be oxidized (either chemically or electrochemically) to the reactive Ru(VI)-dioxo complex, glass|ITO|[((HO)(2)OP)tpy)RuVI(O)(2)(OH(2))](2+), which remains attached to the surface. The attached Ru(VI) complex reacts with benzyl alcohol through mechanisms similar to those proposed for the solution analog. More specifically, Ru(VI) is reduced in a stepwise fashion to Ru(IV) and then finally to Ru(II). The reduction of Ru(VI) is accompanied by a rate-limiting insertion to the C-H bond of benzyl alcohol, followed by solvolysis of the aldehyde hydrate. In addition, the surface-bound Ru(VI) acts as an electrooxidation catalyst which carries out approximately 130 (2e(-)) turnovers before deactivation.  相似文献

The mechanism of stoichiometric enantioselective alkene epoxidations by the D4- and D2-symmetric homochiral trans-dioxoruthenium(VI) porphyrins, [RuVI(D4-Por*)O2] (1) and [RuVI(D2-Por*)O2] (2a), in the presence of pyrazole (Hpz) was studied by UV/Vis spectrophotometry and analysis of the organic products. The enantioselectivity of styrene oxidations is more susceptible to steric effects than to substituent electronic effects. Up to 72% ee was achieved for epoxidation of 3-substituted and cis-disubstituted styrenes by employing 1 as the oxidant, whereas entantioselectivities of only 20-40% were obtained in the reactions with 2-substituted and trans-disubstituted styrenes. Complex 2a oxidized 2-substituted styrenes to their epoxides in up to 88% ee. Its reactions with trans-alkenes are more enantioselective (67% ee) than with the cis-alkenes (40% ee). Based on a two-dimensional NOESY NMR study, 2a was found to adopt a more open conformation in benzene than in dichloromethane, which explains the observed solvent-dependent enantioselectivity of its reactions with alkenes. The oxidation of aromatic alkenes by the chiral dioxoruthenium(VI) porphyrins proceeds through the rate-limiting formation of a benzylic radical intermediate; the observed enantioselectivity (eeobs) depends on both the facial selectivity of the first C-O bond formation step and the diastereoselectivity of the subsequent epoxide ring closure. To account for the observed facial selection, "side-on" and "top-on" approach transition state models are examined (see: B. D. Brandes, E. N. Jacobsen, Tetrahedron Lett. 1995, 36, 5123).  相似文献

A methodology is reported for the regioselective nitration of the phenyl groups of Halterman porphyrin, using NaNO2. These nitro-porphyrins can be reduced to aminoporphyrins and then N-dimethylated to give new optically active porphyrins. Applications to the asymmetric epoxidation of styrene derivatives by H2O2 to give optically active epoxides (ee up to 60%) and hydroxylation of alkanes to give optically active secondary alcohols (ee up to 69%) were carried out in organic solvents (dichloromethane/methanol) using chiral iron and manganese porphyrins as catalysts.  相似文献

Synthesis and application of alpha,beta-unsaturated N-acylpyrroles as highly reactive, monodentate ester surrogates in the catalytic asymmetric epoxidation and Michael reactions are described. alpha,beta-Unsaturated N-acylpyrroles with various functional groups were synthesized by the Wittig reaction using ylide 2. A Sm(O-i-Pr)(3)/H(8)-BINOL complex was the most effective catalyst for the epoxidation to afford pyrrolyl epoxides in up to 100% yield and >99% ee. Catalyst loading was successfully reduced to as little as 0.02 mol % (substrate/catalyst = 5000). The high turnover frequency and high volumetric productivity of the present reaction are also noteworthy. In addition, a sequential Wittig olefination-catalytic asymmetric epoxidation reaction was developed, providing efficient one-pot access to optically active epoxides from various aldehydes in high yield and ee (96-->99%). In a direct catalytic asymmetric Michael reaction of hydroxyketone promoted by the Et(2)Zn/linked-BINOL complex, Michael adducts were obtained in good yield (74-97%), dr (69/31-95/5), and ee (73-95%). This represents the first direct catalytic asymmetric Michael reaction of unmodified ketone to an alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylic acid derivative. The properties of alpha,beta-unsaturated N-acylpyrrole are also discussed. Finally, the utility of the N-acylpyrrole unit for further transformations is demonstrated.  相似文献

Bis(1,1-diphenylhydrazido(1-))ruthenium(IV) porphyrins, [Ru(IV)(Por)(NHNPh2)2] (Por = TPP, TTP, 4-Cl-TPP, 4-MeO-TPP), were prepared in approximately 60% yields through the reaction of dioxoruthenium(VI) porphyrins, [Ru(VI)(Por)O2], with 1,1-diphenylhydrazine in ethanol. This new type of ruthenium complex has been characterized by 1H NMR, IR, UV-vis, and FABMS with elemental analysis. The crystal structure of [Ru(IV)(TTP)(NHNPh2)2], which reveals an eta1-coordination mode for both hydrazido axial ligands, has been determined. The average Ru-NHNPh2 distance and Ru-N-N angle were found to be 1.911(3) A and 141.1(3) degrees, respectively. The porphyrin ring exhibits a ruffling distortion that is unprecedentedly large for ruthenium complexes with simple porphyrinato ligands (such as TTP). This is probably due to the steric effect of the axial hydrazido(1-) ligands.  相似文献

Chiral metalloporphyrin (Fe, Ru) complexes, functionalized with four vinyl groups, have been polymerized with styrene and divinylbenzene (or ethylene glycol) to obtain supported iron and ruthenium complexes. The heterogeneous asymmetric oxidation of sulfides and styrene derivatives was carried out by using these polymers as catalysts. The reaction proceeded under mild conditions and gave sulfoxides and epoxides with good enantiomeric excesses (up to 75–76%). The catalysts keep constant ee values for the recycle tests of up to six times for asymmetric oxidation of styrene derivatives and of up to 14 times for asymmetric oxidation of sulfides with only traces of sulfones.  相似文献

In this work, we investigated the UV-vis spectra of the [Ru(bipy)(2)(MPyTPP)Cl](+) (MPyTPP = 5-pyridyl-15,20,25-triphenylporphyrin) complex and its related species [Ru(bipy)(2)(py)Cl](+) and MPyTPP, by using time-dependent density functional theory and a set of functionals (B3LYP, M05, MPWB1K, and PBE0) in chloroform with the basis set 6-31++G(d,p) for nonmetal atoms and the pseudopotential LANL2DZ for Ru. Practically no geometrical changes are observed in the Ru environment when py ligand is replaced by MPyTPP. This replacement favors the electronic redistribution from bipy ligands to Ru, and from the metal to MPyTPP ligand, as indicated by NBO analysis. We found that M05 functional predicts very well the UV-vis spectra, as it shows a low deviation with respect to the experimental data, with a maximum error of 0.19 eV (11 nm). M05 theoretical electronic spectrum of [Ru(bipy)(2)(MPyTPP)Cl](+) complex indicates that the presence of the Ru complex does not alter Q porphyrin bands, while charge transfer bands from Ru to bipy and porphyrin ligands mixes up in the region close to the porphyrin Soret band. Theoretical analysis allows the decomposition of this broad experimental band into specific ones identifying the Soret band and new metal to ligand charge transfers toward porphyrin at 425 and 478 nm, which were not possible in none of the moieties MPyTPP and [Ru(bipy)(2)(Py)Cl](+) complex. In the UV region, the most intense intraligand band of bipy ligands becomes slightly blue-shifted both in the experimental and in the theoretical spectrum of [Ru(bipy)(2)(MPyTPP)Cl](+) complex compared to that in [Ru(bipy)(2)(py)Cl](+) complex. Some of the bands of [Ru(bipy)(2)(MPyTPP)Cl](+) showed in this theoretical study may have practical applications. That is the case for the band at 478 nm, with potential use in PDT, and those more energetic at 348 and 329 nm, which could help in the cleavage mechanism of DNA performed by this ruthenium complex.  相似文献

(Nitrosyl)(salen)ruthenium(II) complex 1 was found to serve as an efficient catalyst for the epoxidation of conjugated olefins under photoirradiation, with 2,6-dichloropyridine N-oxide (2) or tetramethylpyrazine N,N'-dioxide as a stoichiometric oxidant. High enantioselectivity was achieved irrespective of the substitution pattern of olefins. The choice of solvent depends on stability of the resulting epoxides: high enantioselectivity is generally observed in the reaction with ethereal solvents, but use of benzene is recommended when the resulting epoxides are acid-sensitive.  相似文献
