光子晶体光纤布拉格光栅传输谱特性的分析 总被引:5,自引:3,他引:2
研究光子晶体光纤中光纤光栅的传输谱特性对于研制基于光子晶体光纤的光纤光栅器件有着重要的意义。结合耦合模理论和光束传输相关函数方法,对一种典型光子晶体光纤中的布拉格光栅(FBG)传输谱进行了理论分析。比较了光子晶体光纤中布拉格光栅与常规布拉格光栅的传输谱。数值分析了光纤截面结构变化对于光栅传输谱的影响,并给出这种影响的定性解释。计算结果显示,与常规光纤光栅相比,包层模共振引起的损耗峰与正反向纤芯模耦合引起的损耗峰可以相比拟,而包层模共振的间隔也比常规光纤中光纤光栅的包层模共振间隔要大。同时给出了晶体光纤截面上空气孔的占空比,空气孔的排布层数对于传输谱影响的规律。 相似文献

We propose a method of tuning resonant wavelengths in the fabrication process of a long-period fiber grating using an amplitude mask tilted relative to the fiber. We irradiated a hydrogenated single-mode fiber with a KrF excimer laser through a tilted amplitude mask with a grating period of 460 Μm. Growth of resonant loss peaks in transmission spectra was measured for various tilt angles. A tuning range up to 329 nm was obtained by tilting up to 45°. The measured results agreed with numerical simulation. It was shown that using only an amplitude mask it is possible to fabricate a long-period fiber grating having resonance at any wavelength throughout the range of 1.2-1.6 Μm. A method to determine the tilt angle for a designed wavelength is discussed. 相似文献

基于光纤光栅的模式耦合理论,采用传输矩阵法对啁啾长周期光纤光栅(LPFG)的超宽带滤波特性进行了分析。研究表明当啁啾LPFG的纤芯模同时与同向传输的多个阶次的包层模发生耦合,且与多个不同阶次包层模对应的谐振峰交叠时,其传输谱带宽可扩展到500nm以上,可用做超宽带带阻滤波器。传输谱带宽随模式序数、啁啾系数、光栅长度、周期和折射率调制量的增加单调递增,但随光纤包层半径的增大单调递减。采用高斯折射率切趾技术抑制了传输谱旁瓣,为设计超宽带滤波器提供了新的方法。 相似文献

研究了具有高双折射的光子晶体光纤(HB PCF)中均匀布拉格光栅(FBG)的光谱特性。利用紧凑的超格子模型,对光子晶体光纤的传输特性进行分析,研究正向传输和反向传输的模式之间的耦合规律,从而研究写入光子晶体光纤中的均匀布拉格光栅的特性。首先给出具有C6v对称性的零双折射光子晶体光纤中光纤布拉格光栅的布拉格波长λB随光纤结构参量的变化规律;然后分析一种高双折射光子晶体光纤中的光纤布拉格光栅的光谱特性,高双折射使两个不同偏振态的反射峰分开较大;最后分析了一种常用的双模双折射光子晶体光纤中光纤布拉格光栅的光谱特性,LP01模和LPe11模的两个偏振态对应的反射谱都由于高双折射而分开。 相似文献

采用传输矩阵法系统研究轴向非均匀应变场下相移光栅光谱特性,对均匀应变、线性应变、二次应变以及三次应变分布下相移光栅反射谱进行仿真,分析应变分布函数各项系数对反射率、通透带宽、透射窗口对应波长以及光谱形状的影响,并得出规律性结论。基于不同形状悬臂梁组建应变调谐实验装置,利用有限元法计算固定于不同形状悬臂梁表面相移光栅栅区应变分布,结合数值计算结果进行相移光栅应变调谐实验,研究相移光栅栅区轴向在均匀应变场、线性应变场以及二次应变场下相移光栅的反射光谱,实验结果表明在不同应变场下相移光栅反射谱呈现规律性变化,与仿真结果很好吻合。 相似文献

快速有效地获得多级联光纤光栅法布里-珀罗(F-P)腔的光谱特性,是优化设计基于上述结构建立的级联多波长激光器、放大器等各种光器件以及复杂分布式传感网络的重要基础和保障.将V-I传输矩阵法用于光纤光栅F-P腔反射光谱特性的分析,并建立了V-I传输矩阵模型.采用该模型对三种不同结构的光纤光栅F-P腔在不同参数下的光谱特性进行分析,并与传统多层膜法的分析结果相比较,表明V-I传输矩阵法能够在保证分析精度的前提下大大节省运算时间.实验结果表明,V-I传输矩阵法对光纤光栅F-P腔谱特性的分析结果比耦合模法更准确. 相似文献

振幅掩膜紫外写入的长周期光纤光栅的纤芯折射率分布函数为矩形波。以三层阶跃折射率光波导结构基础,用弱导标量近似和标量耦合模理论分析折射率调制类型为矩形波的长周期光纤光栅的特性。详细地给出耦合模方程近似处理的方法,并说明了其合理性。用数学软件Matlab进行了数值模拟计算,发现折射率调制类为矩形波的光栅传输谱不是由它的各次余弦光栅谱的线性叠加而成的。还研究了外部环境折射率、包层半径、栅占空比等光栅结构参量对矩形折射率调制的光栅传输谱的影响。同时指出了每阶包层模的双谐振峰位置随栅参量的变化规律。刊■刊『_型,刿j1 相似文献

This paper presents an analysis of how to obtain narrow transmission band in the centre of the spectrum of the arbitrary chirped fiber Bragg grating (ACFBG). Grating chirp coefficient and refractive index profile are the critical parameters in contributing to performance of fiber Bragg grating. The reflection spectra and transmission band were analyzed with different refractive index profile. Apodization techniques are used to get optimized reflection spectra. Optical fiber gratings have developed into a mature technology with a wide range of applications in various areas, including physical sensing for temperature, strain, acoustic waves and pressure. All of these applications rely on the perturbation of the period or refractive index of a grating inscribed in the fiber core as a transducing mechanism between a quantity to be measured and the optical spectral response of the fiber grating. This paper presents a relatively recent variant of the fiber grating concept, whereby a small tilt of the grating fringes causes coupling of the optical power from the core mode into a multitude of cladding modes, each with its own wavevector and mode field shape. The main consequence of doing so is that the differential response of the modes can then be used to multiply the sensing modalities available for a single fiber grating and also to increase the sensor resolution by taking advantage of the large amount of data available. In particular, the temperature cross‐sensitivity and power source fluctuation noise inherent in all fiber grating designs can be completely eliminated by referencing all the spectral measurements to the wavelength and power level of the core mode back‐reflection. The mode resonances have a quality factor of 105, and they can be observed in reflection or transmission. A thorough review of experimental and theoretical results will show that tilted fiber Bragg gratings can be used for high resolution refractometry, surface plasmon resonance applications, and multiparameter physical sensing (strain, vibration, curvature, and temperature). 相似文献

A method that can make the faint reflected wave distinct and legible is also proposed. 利用传输矩阵法分析了级联长周期光栅的光谱特性,讨论了级联处光纤的长度、位置以及包层模损耗系数对级联长周期光栅光谱的影响,并对级联长周期光栅和相移长周期光栅的光谱进行了比较。结果表明两者光谱存级联光纤长度较小或级联位置靠近光栅两端时具有较强的一致性,而在级联处光纤较长并且级联位置在中间时,两者表现出截然不同的光谱特性;在不考虑其他损耗的情况下,如果只改变级联处光纤长度,级联长周期光栅总量守恒;此外,当级联长周期光栅在级联处光纤包层模损耗系数较大时,级联长周期光栅的光谱等效于两个长周期光栅光谱的非相干叠加,从而为长周期光栅增益均衡器的优化设计和制作提供了一个简便有效的方法。 相似文献

In this paper, we analyzed the properties of fiber Bragg grating F-P cavity with different grating parameters at two ends. The features of transmission spectra and group velocity were investigated under different parameters including slight increase for the differences of the lengths of the two gratings, the periods of the two gratings, the refractive index modulation depths of the two gratings. The characteristics of the slow light in fiber Bragg grating and fiber Bragg grating F-P cavity were also compared. The results of this study can be useful for actual experiments and applications in using the fiber Bragg grating F-P cavity in the slow light. 相似文献
