Four steady-state general solutions are derived in this paper for the two-dimensional equation of isotropic thermoelastic materials. Using the differential operator theory, three general solutions can be derived and expressed in terms of one function, which satisfies a six-order partial differential equation. By virtue of the Almansi’s theorem, the three general solutions can be transferred to three general solutions which are expressed in terms of two harmonic functions, respectively. At last, a integrate general solution expressed in three harmonic functions is obtained by superposing the obtained two general solutions. The proposed general solution is very simple in form and can be used easily in certain boundary problems. As two examples, the fundamental solutions for both a line heat source in the interior of infinite plane and a line heat source on the surface of semi-infinite plane are presented by virtue of the obtained general solutions.  相似文献

In this paper, a general version of the KKM theorem is derived by using the concept of generalized KKM mappings introduced by Chang and Zhang. By employing our general KKM theorem, we obtain a general minimax inequality which contains several existing ones as special cases. As applications of our general minimax inequality, we derive an existence result for saddle-point problems under general setting. We also establish several existence results for generalized variation inequalities and generalized quasi-variational inequalities.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce and study a new class of variational inequalities involving three operators, which is called the extended general variational inequality. Using the projection technique, we show that the extended general variational inequalities are equivalent to the fixed point and the extended general Wiener-Hopf equations. This equivalent formulation is used to suggest and analyze a number of projection iterative methods for solving the extended general variational inequalities. We also consider the convergence of these new methods under some suitable conditions. Since the extended general variational inequalities include general variational inequalities and related optimization problems as special cases, results proved in this paper continue to hold for these problems.  相似文献

Summary. In this paper we combine an earlier method developed with K. Jetter on general cardinal interpolation with constructions of compactly supported solutions for cardinal interpolation to gain compactly supported fundamental solutions for the general interpolation problem. The general interpolation problem admits the interpolation of the functional and derivative values under very weak restrictions on the derivatives to be interpolated. In the univariate case, some known general constructions of compactly supported fundamental solutions for cardinal interpolation are discussed together with algorithms for their construction that make use of MAPLE. Another construction based on finite decomposition and reconstruction for spline spaces is also provided. Ideas used in the latter construction are lifted to provide a general construction of compactly supported fundamental solutions for cardinal interpolation in the multivariate case. Examples are provided, several in the context of some general interpolation problem to illustrate how easy is the transition from cardinal interpolation to general interpolation. Although general theories are beginning to emerge in the area of automata based complexity theory, there are very few general methods or even general problem formulations in the area of arithmetic complexity. In this paper we propose and defined a general model for studying bilinear multiplication in order to provide a common framework for discussing a wide class of problems. The problem of minimizing the number of multiplications required to perform a calculation leads to a problem in matrix algebra relating to the expansion of a given set of matrices as linear combinations of rank-one matrices. In this paper we make a systematic attack on this problem and derived some general results which unify and extend numerous known results.  相似文献

In this paper we describe all general solutions of Post equation, supposing that a general solution of this equation is known (Theorem 6). A unified recursive mathematic model is established for full forward kinematics analysis of various redundant kinematic hybrid manipulators which are formed by several different parallel manipulators connected in series. In the established model, the relationships between the general input velocity/acceleration and the general output velocity/acceleration are discovered. The Jacobian matrices for mapping the general output velocities to the general input velocity and the Hessian matrices for mapping the general output velocities to the general input acceleration are derived. The unified iteration recursive formulae are derived for solving the general output velocity/acceleration of the end moving platform of the redundant kinematic hybrid manipulator by only giving the general input velocity/acceleration of every parallel manipulator. A 3D model of a novel (4SPS + SPR )+ (4SPS/SP) + 3SPR type hybrid manipulator is constructed and its full forward velocity/acceleration formulae are derived from the established unified recursive mathematic model and are proved to be correct by utilizing a simulation solution of the novel redundant kinematic hybrid manipulator.  相似文献

Using center manifold theory for maps, we derive necessary and sufficient conditions for general exponential observers for Lyapunov stable discrete-time nonlinear systems. In this paper, we establish that detectability is a necessary condition for the existence of general observers (asymptotic or exponential) for discrete-time nonlinear systems. Using this necessary condition, we show that there does not exist any general observer (asymptotic or exponential) for discrete-time nonlinear systems with real parametric uncertainty, if the state equilibrium does not change with the parameter values and if the plant output function is purely a function of the state. Next, using center manifold theory for maps, we derive necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of general exponential observers for Lyapunov stable discrete-time nonlinear systems. As an application of this result, we show that for the existence of general exponential observers for Lyapunov stable discrete-time nonlinear systems, the dimension of the state of the general exponential observer should not be less than the number of critical eigenvalues of the linearization matrix of the state dynamics of the plant.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce and study a new class of extended general nonlinear mixed variational inequalities and a new class of extended general resolvent equations and establish the equivalence between the extended general nonlinear mixed variational inequalities and implicit fixed point problems as well as the extended general resolvent equations. Then by using this equivalent formulation, we discuss the existence and uniqueness of solution of the problem of extended general nonlinear mixed variational inequalities. Applying the aforesaid equivalent alternative formulation and a nearly uniformly Lipschitzian mapping S, we construct some new resolvent iterative algorithms for finding an element of set of the fixed points of nearly uniformly Lipschitzian mapping S which is the unique solution of the problem of extended general nonlinear mixed variational inequalities. We study convergence analysis of the suggested iterative schemes under some suitable conditions. We also suggest and analyze a class of extended general resolvent dynamical systems associated with the extended general nonlinear mixed variational inequalities and show that the trajectory of the solution of the extended general resolvent dynamical system converges globally exponentially to the unique solution of the extended general nonlinear mixed variational inequalities. The results presented in this paper extend and improve some known results in the literature.  相似文献

In this paper we examine the connections between equistable graphs, general partition graphs and triangle graphs. While every general partition graph is equistable and every equistable graph is a triangle graph, not every triangle graph is equistable, and a conjecture due to Jim Orlin states that every equistable graph is a general partition graph. The conjecture holds within the class of chordal graphs; if true in general, it would provide a combinatorial characterization of equistable graphs.Exploiting the combinatorial features of triangle graphs and general partition graphs, we verify Orlin’s conjecture for several graph classes, including AT-free graphs and various product graphs. More specifically, we obtain a complete characterization of the equistable graphs that are non-prime with respect to the Cartesian or the tensor product, and provide some necessary and sufficient conditions for the equistability of strong, lexicographic and deleted lexicographic products. We also show that the general partition graphs are not closed under the strong product, answering a question by McAvaney et al.  相似文献

In this work, we introduce and consider a new class of general variational inequalities involving three nonlinear operators, which is called the extended general variational inequalities. Noor [M. Aslam Noor, Projection iterative methods for extended general variational inequalities, J. Appl. Math. Comput. (2008) (in press)] has shown that the minimum of nonconvex functions can be characterized via these variational inequalities. Using a projection technique, we establish the equivalence between the extended general variational inequalities and the general nonlinear projection equation. This equivalent formulation is used to discuss the existence of a solution of the extended general variational inequalities. Several special cases are also discussed.  相似文献

In an earlier paper [1] a general procedure has been presented to obtain polynomial spline approximations for the solution of the initial value problem for ordinary differential equations. In this paper the general procedure is described by an equivalent one step method.
