Multi‐wall Sn/SnO2@carbon hollow nanofibers evolved from SnO2 nanofibers are designed and programable synthesized by electrospinning, polypyrrole coating, and annealing reduction. The synthesized hollow nanofibers have a special wire‐in‐double‐wall‐tube structure with larger specific surface area and abundant inner spaces, which can provide effective contacting area of electrolyte with electrode materials and more active sites for redox reaction. It shows excellent cycling stability by virtue of effectively alleviating pulverization of tin‐based electrode materials caused by volume expansion. Even after 2000 cycles, the wire‐in‐double‐wall‐tube Sn/SnO2@carbon nanofibers exhibit a high specific capacity of 986.3 mAh g?1 (1 A g?1) and still maintains 508.2 mAh g?1 at high current density of 5 A g?1. This outstanding electrochemical performance suggests the multi‐wall Sn/SnO2@ carbon hollow nanofibers are great promising for high performance energy storage systems.  相似文献

Porous nitrogen‐doped carbon nanotubes (PNCNTs) with a high specific surface area (1765 m2 g?1) and a large pore volume (1.28 cm3 g?1) have been synthesized from a tubular polypyrrole (T‐PPY). The inner diameter and wall thickness of the PNCNTs are about 55 nm and 22 nm, respectively. This material shows extremely promising properties for both supercapacitors and for encapsulating sulfur as a superior cathode material for high‐performance lithium–sulfur (Li‐S) batteries. At a current density of 0.5 A g?1, PNCNT presents a high specific capacitance of 210 F g?1, as well as excellent cycling stability at a current density of 2 A g?1. When the S/PNCNT composite was tested as the cathode material for Li‐S batteries, the initial discharge capacity was 1341 mAh g?1 at a current rate of 1 C and, even after 50 cycles at the same rate, the high reversible capacity was retained at 933 mAh g?1. The promising electrochemical energy‐storage performance of the PNCNTs can be attributed to their excellent conductivity, large surface area, nitrogen doping, and unique pore‐size distribution.  相似文献

Herein we present a simple method for fabricating core–shell mesostructured CuO@C nanocomposites by utilizing humic acid (HA) as a biomass carbon source. The electrochemical performances of CuO@C nanocomposites were evaluated as an electrode material for supercapacitors and lithium‐ion batteries. CuO@C exhibits an excellent capacitance of 207.2 F g?1 at a current density of 1 A g?1 within a potential window of 0–0.46 V in 6 M KOH solution. Significantly, CuO electrode materials achieve remarkable capacitance retentions of approximately 205.8 F g?1 after 1000 cycles of charge/discharge testing. The CuO@C was further applied as an anode material for lithium‐ion batteries, and a high initial capacity of 1143.7 mA h g?1 was achieved at a current density of 0.1 C. This work provides a facile and general approach to synthesize carbon‐based materials for application in large‐scale energy‐storage systems.  相似文献

Hierarchical hollow structures for electrode materials of supercapacitors could enlarge the surface area, accelerate the transport of ions and electrons, and accommodate volume expansion during cycling. Besides, construction of heterostructures would enhance the internal electric fields to regulate the electronic structures. All these features of hierarchical hollow heterostructures are beneficial for promoting the electrochemical properties and stability of electrode materials for high‐performance supercapacitors. Herein, CoO/Co‐Cu‐S hierarchical tubular heterostructures (HTHSs) composed of nanoneedles are prepared by an efficient multi‐step approach. The optimized sample exhibits a high specific capacity of 320 mAh g?1 (2300 F g?1) at 2.0 A g?1 and outstanding cycling stability with 96.5 % of the initial capacity retained after 5000 cycles at 10 A g?1. Moreover, an all‐solid‐state hybrid supercapacitor (HSC) constructed with the CoO/Co‐Cu‐S and actived carbon shows a stable and high energy density of 90.7 Wh kg?1 at a power density of 800 W kg?1.  相似文献

Carbon nanomaterials, especially graphene and carbon nanotubes, are considered to be favorable alternatives to graphite‐based anodes in lithium‐ion batteries, owing to their high specific surface area, electrical conductivity, and excellent mechanical flexibility. However, the limited number of storage sites for lithium ions within the sp2‐carbon hexahedrons leads to the low storage capacity. Thus, rational structure design is essential for the preparation of high‐performance carbon‐based anode materials. Herein, we employed flexible single‐walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) with ultrahigh electrical conductivity as a wrapper for 3D graphene foam (GF) by using a facile dip‐coating process to form a binary network structure. This structure, which offered high electrical conductivity, enlarged the electrode/electrolyte contact area, shortened the electron‐/ion‐transport pathways, and allowed for efficient utilization of the active material, which led to improved electrochemical performance. When used as an anode in lithium‐ion batteries, the SWCNT‐GF electrode delivered a specific capacity of 953 mA h g?1 at a current density of 0.1 A g?1 and a high reversible capacity of 606 mA h g?1 after 1000 cycles, with a capacity retention of 90 % over 1000 cycles at 1 A g?1 and 189 mA h g?1 after 2200 cycles at 5 A g?1.  相似文献

A hierarchical hollow hybrid composite, namely, MnO2 nanosheets grown on nitrogen‐doped hollow carbon shells (NHCSs@MnO2), was synthesized by a facile in situ growth process followed by calcination. The composite has a high surface area (251 m2g?1) and mesopores (4.5 nm in diameter), which can efficiently facilitate transport during electrochemical cycling. Owing to the synergistic effect of NHCSs and MnO2, the composite shows a high specific capacitance of 306 F g?1, good rate capability, and an excellent cycling stability of 95.2 % after 5000 cycles at a high current density of 8 A g?1. More importantly, an asymmetric supercapacitor (ASC) assembled by using NHCSs@MnO2 and activated carbon as the positive and negative electrodes exhibits high specific capacitance (105.5 F g?1 at 0.5 A g?1 and 78.5 F g?1 at 10 A g?1) with excellent rate capability, achieves a maximum energy density of 43.9 Wh kg?1 at a power density of 408 W kg?1, and has high stability, whereby the ASC retains 81.4 % of its initial capacitance at a current density of 5 A g?1 after 4000 cycles. Therefore, the NHCSs@MnO2 electrode material is a promising candidate for future energy‐storage systems.  相似文献

Nitrogen‐doped mesoporous hollow carbon spheres (NHCS) consisting of hybridized amorphous and graphitic carbon were synthesized by chemical vapor deposition with pitch as raw material. Treatment with HNO3 vapor was performed to incorporate oxygen‐containing groups on NHCS, and the resulting NHCS‐O showed excellent rate capacity, high reversible capacity, and excellent cycling stability when tested as the anode material in lithium‐ion batteries. The NHCS‐O electrode maintained a reversible specific capacity of 616 mAh g?1 after 250 cycles at a current rate of 500 mA g?1, which is an increase of 113 % compared to the pristine hollow carbon spheres. In addition, the NHCS‐O electrode exhibited a reversible capacity of 503 mAh g?1 at a high current density of 1.5 A g?1. The superior electrochemical performance of NHCS‐O can be attributed to the hybrid structure, high N and O contents, and rich surface defects.  相似文献

A series of hierarchical activated mesoporous carbons (AMCs) were prepared by the activation of highly ordered, body‐centered cubic mesoporous phenolic‐resin‐based carbon with KOH. The effect of the KOH/carbon‐weight ratio on the textural properties and capacitive performance of the AMCs was investigated in detail. An AMC prepared with a KOH/carbon‐weight ratio of 6:1 possessed the largest specific surface area (1118 m2 g?1), with retention of the ordered mesoporous structure, and exhibited the highest specific capacitance of 260 F g?1 at a current density of 0.1 A g?1 in 1 M H2SO4 aqueous electrolyte. This material also showed excellent rate capability (163 F g?1 retained at 20 A g?1) and good long‐term electrochemical stability. This superior capacitive performance could be attributed to a large specific surface area and an optimized micro‐mesopore structure, which not only increased the effective specific surface area for charge storage but also provided a favorable pathway for efficient ion transport.  相似文献

Nitrogen‐enriched porous nanocarbon, graphene, and conductive polymers attract increasing attention for application in supercapacitors. However, electrode materials with a large specific surface area (SSA) and a high nitrogen doping concentration, which is needed for excellent supercapacitors, has not been achieved thus far. Herein, we developed a class of tetracyanoquinodimethane‐derived conductive microporous covalent triazine‐based frameworks (TCNQ‐CTFs) with both high nitrogen content (>8 %) and large SSA (>3600 m2 g?1). These CTFs exhibited excellent specific capacitances with the highest value exceeding 380 F g?1, considerable energy density of 42.8 Wh kg?1, and remarkable cycling stability without any capacitance degradation after 10 000 cycles. This class of CTFs should hold a great potential as high‐performance electrode material for electrochemical energy‐storage systems.  相似文献

Porous carbon materials with high surface area and different pore structure have been successfully prepared by phenolic resin combined with polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and KOH as activation agents. The surface morphology, structure, and specific surface area of the carbon materials were studied by scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, and nitrogen sorption measurement, respectively. Furthermore, the effects of specific surface area, pore structure, and electrolyte on electrochemical properties were investigated by galvanostatic charge–discharge measurement. The results show that KOH–PVA-activated carbon materials display specific capacitance as high as 218 F?g?1 in 30 wt.% KOH aqueous electrolyte, 147 F?g?1 in 1 M LiPF6/(ethylene carbonate (EC) + dimethyl carbonate) (1:1?v/v), and 115 F?g?1 in 1 M Et3MeNBF4/propylene carbonate organic electrolyte, respectively. In addition, the carbon materials demonstrate long-term cycle stability, especially the AK3P-0.30 in aqueous electrolyte and the AK2P-0.30 with excellent rate capability in organic electrolyte. These reveal that the existence of a micro-mesoporous structure of activated carbon is beneficial to store energy in an aqueous supercapacitor and broad pore size distribution of activated carbon is favorable to energy storage in an organic supercapacitor. The carbon materials with pore size distribution in different ranges improve the electrochemical performance of supercapacitor in different electrolytes. A new pore-expand agent (PVA combining with KOH) was used to obtain porous carbons with enhanced properties for supercapacitor.  相似文献

A polymeric activated carbon (PAC) was synthesized from the carbonization of a resorcinol–formaldehyde resin with KOH served as an activation agent. The nitrogen adsorption–desorption at 77 K, X-ray diffraction (XRD) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) were used to characterize the prepared PAC. Compared with the commercial activated carbon (Maxsorb: Kansai, Japan), PAC shows superior capacitive performance in terms of specific capacitance, power output and high energy density as electrode materials for supercapacitors. PAC presents a high specific capacitance of 500 F g?1 in 6 mol l?1 KOH electrolyte at a current density of 233 mA g?1 which remained 302 F g?1 even at a high current density of 4.6 A g?1. The good electrochemical performance of the PAC was ascribed to well-developed micropores smaller than 1.5 nm, the presence of electrochemically oxygen functional groups and low equivalent series resistance.  相似文献

A 3D flower‐like mesoporous Ni@C composite material has been synthesized by using a facile and economical one‐pot hydrothermal method. This unique 3D flower‐like Ni@C composite, which exhibited a high surface area (522.4 m2 g?1), consisted of highly dispersed Ni nanoparticles on mesoporous carbon flakes. The effect of calcination temperature on the electrochemical performance of the Ni@C composite was systematically investigated. The optimized material (Ni@C 700) displayed high specific capacity (1306 F g?1 at 2 A g?1) and excellent cycling performance (96.7 % retention after 5000 cycles). Furthermore, an asymmetric supercapacitor (ASC) that contained Ni@C 700 as cathode and mesoporous carbon (MC) as anode demonstrated high energy density (60.4 W h kg?1 at a power density of 750 W kg?1).  相似文献

Ginkgo leave, a naturally abundant resource, has been successfully employed as the raw material to prepare nitrogen doped porous carbon (NDPC) materials. The preparation of the porous carbon does not involve assistance of any activation or template technique. The as‐obtained NDPC shows favorable features for electrochemical energy storage, which can not only provide multiple sites for the storage and insertion of Li ions, but also facilitate rapid mass transport of electrons and Li ions. As a result, the NDPC when evaluated as an anode material for lithium ion batteries delivers high reversible capacity (505 mAh·g?1 at 0.1 C), excellent rate capability (190 mAh·g?1 at 10 C). These favorable properties suggest that the NDPC can be a promising anode material for lithium ion batteries (LIBs).  相似文献

Sodium‐ion batteries (SIBs) have attracted much interest as a low‐cost and environmentally benign energy storage system, but more attention is justifiably required to address the major technical issues relating to the anode materials to deliver high reversible capacity, superior rate capability, and stable cyclability. A SnSe/reduced graphene oxide (RGO) nanocomposite has been prepared by a facile ball‐milling method, and its structural, morphological, and electrochemical properties have been characterized and compared with those of the bare SnSe material. Although the redox behavior of SnSe remains nearly unchanged upon the incorporation of RGO, its electrochemical performance is significantly enhanced, as reflected by a high specific capacity of 590 mA h g?1 at 0.050 A g?1, a rate capability of 260 mA h g?1 at 10 A g?1, and long‐term stability over 120 cycles. This improvement may be attributed to the high electronic conductivity of RGO, which also serves as a matrix to buffer changes in volume and maintain the mechanical integrity of the electrode during (de)sodiation processes. In view of its excellent Na+ storage performance, this SnSe/RGO nanocomposite has potential as an anode material for SIBs.  相似文献

Carbon‐based supercapacitors are a kind of supercapacitors with very promising applications because of their low cost, good stability and adjustable properties. Simple and rapid syntheses of carbon materials with a high surface area and narrow pore size distribution are of great significance to practical applications of carbon‐based supercapacitors. Here we report a new strategy to synthesize sub‐nanometer porous carbon films (Snp‐CF) via a condensation reaction under mild conditions. Carbon films exhibit a narrow pore size distribution (6.6 Å) and high surface area (508 m2 g?1) after annealing at 700 °C. Snp‐CF‐700 displays a good specific capacity and excellent cycle performance (130 F g?1 after 5000 cycles, 118 % of initial 110 F g?1).  相似文献

The manufacture of single-atom transition metal-doping carbon nanocomposites as electrode materials is crucial for electrochemical energy storage with high energy and power density. However, the simple strategy for preparation of such active materials with controlled structure remains a great challenge. Here, cobalt-doped carbon nanocomposites (Co-POM/rGO) were synthesized successfully by deposition of Anderson-type polyoxometalate (POM) on the surface of reduced graphene oxide (rGO) aerogel via one-pot hydrothermal treatment. The resulting Co-POM/rGO possesses three-dimensional graphene-based frameworks with hierarchical porous structure, high surface area and uniform single-atom metal doping. These intriguing features render Co-POM/rGO to be a promising electrode for applications in electrochemical energy storage. As an electrode material of a supercapacitor, Co-POM/rGO shows high-performance electrochemical energy storage (211.3 F g?1 at 0.5 A g?1). Furthermore, the solid-state asymmetric supercapacitor (ASC) device, using Co-POM/rGO as a positive electrode, exhibits the outstanding energy density of 37.6 Wh kg?1 at a power density of 500 W kg?1, and high capacitance retention of 95.2% after 5000 charge–discharge cycles. These results indicate that the proposed strategy for rational design of single-atom-metal doped carbon nanocomposites for flexible ASC devices with excellent capacitive properties.

Sodium‐ion batteries (SIBs) are regarded as an attractive alternative to lithium‐ion batteries (LIBs) for large‐scale commercial applications, because of the abundant terrestrial reserves of sodium. Exporting suitable anode materials is the key to the development of SIBs and LIBs. In this contribution, we report on the fabrication of Bi@C microspheres using aerosol spray pyrolysis technique. When used as SIBs anode materials, the Bi@C microsphere delivered a high capacity of 123.5 mAh g?1 after 100 cycles at 100 mA g?1. The rate performance is also impressive (specific capacities of 299, 252, 192, 141, and 90 mAh g?1 are obtained under current densities of 0.1, 0.2, 0.5, 1, and 2 A g?1, respectively). Furthermore, the Bi@C microsphere also proved to be suitable LIB anode materials. The excellent electrochemical performance for both SIBs and LIBs can attributed to the Bi@C microsphere structure with Bi nanoparticles uniformly dispersed in carbon spheres.  相似文献

High‐surface‐area, guava‐leaf‐derived, heteroatom‐containing activated carbon (GHAC) materials were synthesized by means of a facile chemical activation method with KOH as activating agent and exploited as catalyst supports to disperse nickel oxide (NiO) nanocrystals (average size (2.0±0.1) nm) through a hydrothermal process. The textural and structural properties of these GHAC/NiO nanocomposites were characterized by various physicochemical techniques, namely, field‐emission SEM, high‐resolution TEM, elemental analysis, X‐ray diffraction, X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, and Raman spectroscopy. The as‐synthesized GHAC/NiO nanocomposites were employed as binder‐free electrodes, which exhibited high specific capacitance (up to 461 F g?1 at a current density of 2.3 A g?1) and remarkable cycling stability, which may be attributed to the unique properties of GHAC and excellent electrochemical activity of the highly dispersed NiO nanocrystals.  相似文献

Hierarchically porous carbon materials with high surface areas are promising candidates for energy storage and conversion. Herein, the facile synthesis of hierarchically porous carbons through the calcination of metal–organic framework (MOF)/chitosan composites is reported. The effects of the chitosan (CS) additive on the pore structure of the resultant carbons are discussed. The corresponding MOF/chitosan precursors could be readily converted into hierarchically porous carbons (NPC‐V, V=1, 2, 4, and 6) with much higher ratios of meso‐/macropore volume to micropore volume (Vmeso‐macro/Vmicro). The derived carbon NPC‐2 with the high ratio of Vmeso‐macro/Vmicro=1.47 demonstrates a high specific surface area of 2375 m2 g?1, and a high pore volume of 2.49 cm3 g?1, as well as a high graphitization degree, in comparison to its counterpart (NPC) without chitosan addition. These excellent features are favorable for rapid ion diffusion/transport, endowing NPC‐2 with enhanced electrochemical behavior as supercapacitor electrodes in a symmetric electrode system, corresponding to a high specific capacitance of 199.9 F g?1 in the aqueous electrolyte and good rate capability. Good cycling stability is also observed after 10 000 cycles.  相似文献

For the first time, hierarchically porous carbon materials with a sandwich‐like structure are synthesized through a facile and efficient tri‐template approach. The hierarchically porous microstructures consist of abundant macropores and numerous micropores embedded into the crosslinked mesoporous walls. As a result, the obtained carbon material with a unique sandwich‐like structure has a relatively high specific surface (1235 m2 g?1), large pore volume (1.30 cm3 g?1), and appropriate pore size distribution. These merits lead to a comparably high specific capacitance of 274.8 F g?1 at 0.2 A g?1 and satisfying rate performance (87.7 % retention from 1 to 20 A g?1). More importantly, the symmetric supercapacitor with two identical as‐prepared carbon samples shows a superior energy density of 18.47 Wh kg?1 at a power density of 179.9 W kg?1. The asymmetric supercapacitor based on as‐obtained carbon sample and its composite with manganese dioxide (MnO2) can reach up to an energy density of 25.93 Wh kg?1 at a power density of 199.9 W kg?1. Therefore, these unique carbon material open a promising prospect for future development and utilization in the field of energy storage.  相似文献
