This article deals with the global existence and blow-up of positive solution of a nonlinear diffusion equation with nonlocal source and nonlocal nonlinear boundary condition. We investigate the influence of the reaction terms, the weight functions and the nonlinear terms in the boundary conditions on global existence and blow up for this equation. Moreover, we establish blow-up rate estimates under some appropriate hypotheses.  相似文献

This article studies the blow-up properties of solutions to a porous medium equation with nonlocal boundary condition and a general localized source. Conditions for the existence of global or blow-up solutions are obtained. Moreover, it is proved that the unique solution has global blow-up property whenever blow-up occurs. Blow-up rate estimates are also obtained for some special cases.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider a semilinear heat equation utu+c(x,t)up for (x,t)∈Ω×(0,∞) with nonlinear and nonlocal boundary condition and nonnegative initial data where p>0 and l>0. We prove global existence theorem for max(p,l)?1. Some criteria on this problem which determine whether the solutions blow up in a finite time for sufficiently large or for all nontrivial initial data or the solutions exist for all time with sufficiently small or with any initial data are also given.  相似文献

This paper deals with the blow-up properties of the positive solutions to a degenerate parabolic system with localized sources and nonlocal boundary conditions. We investigate the influence of the reaction terms, the weight functions, local terms and localized source on the blow-up properties. We will show that the weight functions play the substantial roles in determining whether the solutions will blow-up or not, and obtain the blow-up conditions and its blow-up rate estimate.  相似文献

In this paper we consider a semilinear parabolic equation ut=Δuc(x,t)up for (x,t)∈Ω×(0,) with nonlinear and nonlocal boundary condition uΩ×(0,)=∫Ωk(x,y,t)uldy and nonnegative initial data where p>0 and l>0. We prove some global existence results. Criteria on this problem which determine whether the solutions blow up in finite time for large or for all nontrivial initial data are also given.  相似文献

This paper deals with the blow-up properties of positive solutions to a nonlinear parabolic equation with a localized reaction source and a nonlocal boundary condition. Under certain conditions, the blowup criteria is established. Furthermore, when f(u)=up, 0<p?1, the global blowup behavior is shown, and the blowup rate estimates are also obtained.  相似文献

In this article, a porous medium equation with nonlocal boundary condition and a localized source is studied. The results of the existence of global solutions or blow-up of solutions are given. The blow-up rate estimates are also obtained under some conditions.  相似文献

A semilinear reaction-diffusion problem with a nonlocal boundary condition is studied. This paper presents a new and very easy implementable numerical algorithm for computations. This is based on a suitable linearization in time and on the principle of linear superposition. Any method for the space discretization (FEM was taken in this analysis) can be chosen. The derived algorithm is implicit and it does not need any iteration scheme to get a solution with the nonlocal boundary condition. Stability analysis has been performed and the optimal error estimates have been derived. Numerical results have been compared with other known techniques.  相似文献

The thermostat controller for an air-conditioning system isusually placed in a position at some distance from the unitand this can lead to large swings in temperature. This paperaddresses this question by studying a paradigm—a one-dimensionalheat conduction equation with and without heat loss, and wherethe flux of heat extracted or input by the unit is consideredto be a function of the temperature at the other end. The essential results are that the system can be unstable andthat this is exacerbated both by a more powerful air-conditioningunit and by more efficient insulation.  相似文献

In this article, we investigate the blow-up properties of the positive solutions to a degenerate parabolic system with nonlocal boundary condition. We give the criteria for finite time blow-up or global existence, which shows the important influence of nonlocal boundary. And then we establish the precise blow-up rate estimate for small weighted nonlocal boundary.  相似文献

Blow-up rate for a nonlinear diffusion equation   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
In this work we study the blow-up rate for a nonlinear diffusion equation with an inner source and a nonlinear boundary flux, which is equivalent to a porous medium equation with convection. Depending upon the sign of a parameter included, the source can be positive or negative (absorption). By the scaling method, we obtain that the blow-up rate is independent of a negative source, while for the situation with a positive source, the blow-up rate is determined by the interaction between the inner source and the boundary flux. Comparing with the previous results for the porous medium model without convection, we observe that the gradient term included here does not affect the blow-up rates of solutions.  相似文献

We deal with boundary value problems (prescribing Dirichlet or Neumann boundary conditions) for a nonlocal nonlinear diffusion operator which is analogous to the porous medium equation. First, we prove existence, uniqueness and the validity of a comparison principle for these problems. Next, we impose boundary data that blow up in finite time and study the behavior of the solutions.  相似文献

In this paper, the blow-up rate of solutions of semi-linear reaction-diffusion equations with a more complicated source term, which is a product of nonlocal (or localized) source and weight function a(x), is investigated. It is proved that the solutions have global blow-up, and that the rates of blow-up are uniform in all compact subsets of the domain. Furthermore, the blow-up rate of |u(t)| is precisely determined.  相似文献

We prove the global existence and blow-up of solutions of an initial boundary value problem for nonlinear nonlocal parabolic equation with nonlinear nonlocal boundary condition. Obtained results depend on the behavior of variable coefficients for large values of time.  相似文献

In this article, we investigate the blow-up properties of the positive solutions for a doubly degenerate parabolic equation with nonlocal source and nonlocal boundary condition. The conditions on the existence and nonexistence of global positive solutions are given. Moreover, we give the precise blow-up rate estimate and the uniform blow-up estimate for the blow-up solution.  相似文献

We study non-negative solutions of the porous medium equationwith a source and a nonlinear flux boundary condition, ut =(um)xx + up in (0, ), x (0, T); – (um)x (0, t) = uq (0,t) for t (0, T); u (x, 0) = u0 (x) in (0, ), where m > 1,p, q > 0 are parameters. For every fixed m we prove thatthere are two critical curves in the (p, q-plane: (i) the criticalexistence curve, separating the region where every solutionis global from the region where there exist blowing-up solutions, and (ii) the Fujita curve, separating a region of parametersin which all solutions blow up from a region where both globalin time solutions and blowing-up solutions exist. In the caseof blow up we find the blow-up rates, the blow-up sets and theblow-up profiles, showing that there is a phenomenon of asymptoticsimplification. If 2q < p + m the asymptotics are governedby the source term. On the other hand, if 2q > p + m theevolution close to blow up is ruled by the boundary flux. If2q = p + m both terms are of the same order.  相似文献
