The Riemann jump problem is solved for analytic functions of several complex variables with the unit torus as the jump manifold. A well-posed formulation is given which does not demand any solvability conditions. The higher dimensional Plemelj-Sokhotzki formula for analytic functions in torus domains is established. The canonical functions of the Riemann problem for torus domains are represented and applied in order to construct solutions for both of the homogeneous and inhomogeneous problems. Thus contrary to earlier research the results are similar to the respective ones for just one variable. A connection between the Riemann and the Riemann-Hilbert boundary value problem for the unit polydisc is explained.  相似文献

The Cauchy kernel is one of the two significant tools for solving the Riemann boundary value problem for analytic functions. For poly-domains, the Cauchy kernel is modified in such a way that it corresponds to a certain symmetry of the boundary values of holomorphic functions in poly-domains. This symmetry is lost if the classical counterpart of the one-dimensional form of the Cauchy kernel is applied. It is also decisive for the establishment of connection between the Riemann–Hilbert problem and the Riemann problem. Thus, not only the Schwarz problem for holomorphic functions in poly-domains is solved, but also the basis is established for solving some other problems. The boundary values of functions, holomorphic in poly-domains, are classified in the Wiener algebra. The general integral representation formulas for these functions, the solvability conditions and the solutions of the corresponding Schwarz problems are given explicitly. A necessary and sufficient condition for the boundary values of a holomorphic function for arbitrary poly-domains is given. At the end, well-posed formulations of the torus-related problems are considered.  相似文献

In this article we study the Gleason problem locally. A new method for solving the Gleason A problem is presented. This is done by showing an equivalent statement to the Gleason A problem. In order to prove this statement, necessary and a sufficient conditions for a bounded domain to have the Gleason A property are found. Also an example of a bounded but not smoothly-bounded domain in Cn is given, which satisfies the sufficient condition at the origin, and hence has the Gleason A property there.  相似文献

This paper considers the Riemann-Hilbert problem for linear mixed(elliptichyperbolic) complex equations of first order with degenerate curve in a simply connected domain. We first give the representation theorem and uniqueness of solutions for such boundary value problem. Then by using the methods of successive iteration and parameter extension, the existence of solutions for this problem is proved.  相似文献

In this paper, we solve the Riemann-Hilbert problem for the Riemann equation and for the hypergeometric equation. We describe all possible representations of the monodromy of the Riemann equation. We show that if the monodromy of the Riemann equation belongs to SL(2, ℂ), then it can be realized not only by the Riemann equation, but also by the more special Riemann-Sturm-Liouville equation. In this article, we first introduce the general linear elliptic complex equation of first order with certain conditions, and then propose discontinuous Riemann-Hilbert problem and some kinds of modified well-posed-ness for the complex equation. Two boundary value problems are investigated for an over-determined elliptic system with several complex variables in polydisc. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of finitely many linearly independent solutions and finitely many solvability conditions are derived. Moreover, the boundary value problem for any number of complex variables is treated in a unified way and the essential difference between the case of one complex variable and that of several complex variables is revealed.  相似文献

We consider the Riemann problem for a system of conservation laws related to a phase transition problem. The system is nonisentropic and we treat the case where the latent heat is not zero. We study the cases where the initial data are given in the same phase and in the different phases. The role of the entropy condition is studied as well as the kinetic relation and the entropy rate admissibility criterion. We confine our attention to the case where the speeds of phase boundaries are close to zero. This is one interesting case in physics. We discuss the number of phase boundaries consistent with the above criteria and the uniqueness and nonuniqueness issue of the solution to the Riemann problem.  相似文献

This paper addresses the problem of determining stowage plansfor containers in a ship, referred to as the Master Bay PlanProblem (MBPP). MBPP is NP-complete. We present a heuristic method for solvingMBPP based on its relation with the three-dimensional bin packingproblem (3D-BPP), where items are containers and bins are differentportions of the ship. Our aim is to find stowage plans, takinginto account structural and operational constraints relatedto both the containers and the ship, that minimize the timerequired for loading all containers on board. A validation of the proposed approach with some test casesis given. The results of real instances of the problem involvingmore than 1400 containers show the effectiveness of the proposedapproach for large scale applications.  相似文献

We study the time-periodic Stokes problem in the domain with cylindrical outlets to infinity in weighted function spaces. We prove that there exists a unique solution with prescribed fluxes over the sections of outlets to infinity and that, in each outlet, this solution tends to the corresponding time-periodic Poiseuille flow. The solution of the weak Neumann problem for the Laplace equation with a distribution as a boundary condition is studied on a general open set G in the Euclidean space. It is shown that the solution of the problem is the sum of a constant and the Newtonian potential corresponding to a distribution with finite energy supported on ∂G. If we look for a solution of the problem in this form we get a bounded linear operator. Under mild assumptions on G a necessary and sufficient condition for the solvability of the problem is given and the solution is constructed.
