GaAs量子阱半导体微腔中, 光子同时与重空穴激子、轻空穴激子耦合形成腔极化激元. 本文采用三谐振子耦合模型, 计算了腔极化激元的三支的色散关系、线宽、有效质量及其群速度; 结果表明, 由于腔极化激元的三支中光子、重空穴激子、轻空穴激子所占的权重随着平面波矢(或入射角度)变化, 腔极化激元三支的线宽、有效质量及其群速度呈现出不同的动态行为.  相似文献

The dynamics of dipolariton states in a planar microcavity has been studied upon pumping of a state corresponding to the middle dipolariton branch. It has been shown that, under exact resonance conditions, both periodic and aperiodic regimes of conversion of pump dipolaritons to dipolaritons of idler and signal modes occur. The periodic regime of conversion of signal and idler dipolaritons without involving pump dipolaritons on the middle branch has also been analyzed.  相似文献

We present the results of numerical simulation of the complex dynamics of a nonlinear radio-technical line having reflections at the boundaries and excited by an external harmonic signal. It is shown that, with increase in the amplitude of the input signal, periodic oscillations at the external-forcing frequency become unstable and are changed to more complex regimes, either quasiperiodic or chaotic. The main scenarios of transition to chaos are studied. The influence of the modulation instability and soliton formation on the complex dynamics is discussed.  相似文献

研究了一维Bragg微腔中的光学增强效应,并对F-P腔中Kerr介质的双稳态特性进行了理论分析,并得到相应的数学表达式.研究表明,对聚焦型Kerr介质(χ(3)>0),要产生双稳态特性必须给入射光波预置一定的红移量,若是散焦型介质(χ(3)<0)则要预置一定的蓝移量.红移量(或蓝移量)的临界值与光子晶体的介质折射率、周期数、F-P腔长度、缺陷模的线宽(FWHM)等因素密切相关,它随介质折射率比、周期数、F-P腔长的增大而减小,随缺陷模的线形变窄而降低.要有效地降低非线性介质的双稳态开关阈值,除了尽可能选择较小的合适红移(或蓝移)量外,还要选择|χ(3)|较大的Kerr介质以增强腔内的非线性光学效应.  相似文献

The fundamental properties of parametrically excited oscillatory systems of the Kochin oscillator type with double degeneracy of frequencies are investigated. The qualitative phenomenon of their absence is established for arbitrarily small actions of a dissipative nature. As a result, the resonance motions of the first mode prove to be relatively more substantial; the excitation of subsequent odd modes is difficult in the applied aspect and requires a significant increase in the eigenvalue of the corresponding parameter.  相似文献

We apply Feynman's principle, The same equations have the same solutions, to Kepler's problem and show that Newton's dynamics in a properly curved 3-D space is identical with that described by Einstein's theory in the 3-D optical geometry of Schwarzschild's spacetime. For this reason, rather unexpectedly, Newton's formulae for Kepler's problem, in the case of nearly circular motion in a static, spherically spherical gravitational potential accurately describe strong field general relativistic effects, in particular vanishing of the radial epicyclic frequency at r = r ms.  相似文献

This paper aims to investigate nonlinear oscillations of an elevator cable in a drum drive. The governing equation of motion of the objective system is developed by virtue of Lagrangian's method. A complicated term is broached in the governing equation of the motion of the system owing to existence of multiplication of a quadratic function of velocity with a sinusoidal function of displacement in the kinetic energy of the system. The obtained equation is an example of a well-known category of nonlinear oscillators, namely, non-natural systems. Due to the complex terms in the governing equation, perturbation methods cannot directly extract any closed form expressions for the natural frequency. Unavoidably, different non-perturbative approaches are employed to solve the problem and to elicit a closed-form expression for the natural frequency. Energy balance method, modified energy balance method and variational approach are utilized for frequency analyzing of the system. Frequency-amplitude relationships are analytically obtained for nonlinear vibration of the elevator's drum. In order to examine accuracy of the obtained results, exact solutions are numerically obtained and then compared with those obtained from approximate closed-form solutions for several cases. In a parametric study for different nonlinear parameters, variation of the natural frequencies against the initial amplitude is investigated. Accuracy of the three different approaches is then discussed for both small and large amplitudes of the oscillations.  相似文献

We show that it is possible to realize quantum superpositions of switched-on and-off strong light-matter interaction in a single quantum dot-semiconductor microcavity system.Such superpositions enable the observation of counterintuitive quantum conditional dynamics effects.Situations are possible where cavity photons as well as the emitter luminescence display exponential decay but their joint detection probability exhibits vacuum Rabi oscillations.Remarkably,these quantum correlations are also present in the nonequilibrium steady state spectra of such coherently driven dissipative quantum systems.  相似文献

Nonlinear dynamics of the sliding process of a chain driven with a constant velocity at one end in a periodic substrate potential is investigated. The driven chain exhibits distinctly different dynamical characteristics at different velocities. In the low velocity region, the chain moves in a stick-slip manner. When the driving velocity is increased, the stick-slip behaviour is replaced by complicated and regular oscillatory motions. The dependence of the dynamics on the coupling strength is studied and the step-like behaviour is found, where different steps correspond to different dynamical phases.  相似文献

We analyze the characteristics of a three-frequency spatial parametric soliton formed by virtue of the cascade frequency tripling in quadratic, periodically poled crystals. We investigate the mechanics ofa new double chain-model of DNA. The model consists of two long elastic homogeneous strands (or rods), which represent two polynucleotide chains of the DNA molecule, connected with each other by an elastic membrane (or some linear springs) representing the hydrogen bonds between the base pairs of the two chains. The nonlinear dynamical equations are derived and some solitary wave solutions are discussed. We consider the problem of exciton-polariton-condensate formation in a semiconductor microcavity in the strong coupling regime. The condensate is confined in a one-dimensional periodic potential and coupled to an exciton reservoir that is formed by the external cw pumping. The condensate dynamics is studied in the center and in the edges of the Brillouin zone (BZ). Modeling the formation of the condensate from weak initial noise shows that besides steady states the macroscopic oscillations of polariton density can also occur. Within the framework of the mean field approach, we obtain important analytic relations for the condensate eigenstates using the developed simplified model for three coupled spatial harmonics. A numerical analysis verifies the correctness of the analytic results.  相似文献
