高效率的电子冷却过程, 要求电子束与离子束位置平行且重叠。 为了同时测量电子束与离子束的位置, 在HIRFL CSR电子冷却装置上研发了以容性圆筒形极板为感应电极的束流位置探测系统。 系统测量束流通过探针时产生的脉冲感应信号, 并进行傅里叶变换得到频谱信号, 分析4个不同电极上频谱信号强度获取束流的位置信息。 测量结果表明, 该束流位置探测系统测量准确, 为定量研究储存环离子累积和电子冷却过程与两种束流相对位置及角度的依赖关系提供了条件。 The efficient electron cooling requires that the ion beam and electron beam are parallel and overlapped. In order to measure the positions of ion beam and electron beam simultaneously, a beam position monitor system is developed for the HIRFL-CSR electron cooler device, which probe consists of four capacitive cylinder linear cut poles. One can get the both beam positions from the picking up signals of four poles by using Fourier transform(FFT) method. The measurement results show that the beam position monitor system is accurate. This system is suitable for investigating the relation between electron cooling processing and the angle of ion beam and electron beam.  相似文献

In order to achieve the required beam parameters in the NICA booster, the electron cooling system (ECS) was designed and manufactured at the Institute of Nuclear Physics (INP), Novosibirsk. In 2017, the system was shipped to JINR and its assembly and commissioning started. A specific feature of this system is that, for the first time ever, the electron cooling method with a magnetized e-beam is applied at the superconducting synchrotron; this imposes some additional requirements for the design and start of the ECS, operating at room temperature. This paper describes the main steps of the ECS assembly and start at the straight section of the booster, including mounting mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems (water, electricity, air, and oil system) and geodetic works on installing the system on site. The measured magnetic field homogeneity for the straight solenoid is given. The assembly of vacuum and magnet systems takes several steps because of the ECS design features. At the final assemblage stage of the vacuum system, the vacuum chamber is baked up and the bulk getters and the cathode of the electron gun are activated. Upon completing assembly and testing the high voltage system, the E-beam is conducted from the gun to the collector.  相似文献

The basic feature and design method of MMW TWTs electron optics are analyzed in this paper. With the increasing area convergence ratio of the electron gun in TWTs, the initial thermal velocity of electrons at cathode and the non-magnetic shielded effect can no longer be neglected. It brings new challenge for the design and simulation of MMW TWTs electron optics. A method of investigation the beam DC characteristics is described using particle-in-cell (PIC) simulation and incorporate electron beam optics model integrated electron gun with periodic permanent magnetic focusing system. It is valuable for achieving the goal of first-pass design success and the electron optics engineering design and optimization.  相似文献

介绍了合肥光源储存环紫外光束团截面及束流发射度测量系统. 本系统采用光学探测, 由光学成像和图像采集处理两大部分组成. 光学成像部分利用光学成像将中心波长366.1nm紫外光1:1成像于CCD探测器上. 图像采集处理部分将CCD探测器采集的视频信号由电缆输出到图像采集卡进行图像采集, 然后由LabVIEW程序进行数据处理获得束团截面尺寸以及束流发射度和耦合度, 最后给出了实验结果.  相似文献

为了准确了解电子束随时间变化的性能, 在神龙一号直线感应加速器上进行电子束束参数测量时要求测量系统精确地同步于电子束的产生和输运. 其功率系统开关放电波形后沿幅度高达250kV, 下降时间约20ns, 并且从该下降沿到电子束打靶的时间有145ns, 抖动1—2ns, 非常稳定; 如果以陡峭的后沿作为测量时间基准, 则可以获得与其抖动相同量级的同步精度. 因此通过对其波形的下降沿进行微分来获取测量系统的触发信号, 选择合适的微分参数可以得到对应于下降沿 约ns级精度的测量时间基准, 通过采用光纤驱动电路完全消除了高压开关对低压测量系统的干扰, 保证测量系统正常工作. 该方法消除了传统触发方式因延时长、精度低、抖动大等对确定测量时间基准的不利影响, 满足了使用高速测量设备准确获取电子束不同时刻的束参数波形的精确触发要求.  相似文献

The longitudinal velocity compression of a supersonic atomic beam (mean velocity v0; initial velocity spread Δvi) by light pressure from two counterpropagating laser fields is studied.
