In this paper, we mainly research a multifractal formalism in a probability space.The first objective of this paper is to define a multifractal generalisation of the Hausdorff measure and the packing measure. We explore the properties of the multifractal Hausdorff measure and the multifractal packing measure in a probability space, and invesigate the relative results of multifractal spectra functions in a probability space. We also describe a sufficient condion and a necessary one of validity for the multifractal formalism in a probability space.  相似文献

For countable to one transitive Markov systems we establish thermodynamic formalism for non-Hölder potentials in nonhyperbolic situations. We present a new method for the construction of conformal measures that satisfy the weak Gibbs property for potentials of weak bounded variation and show the existence of equilibrium states equivalent to the weak Gibbs measures. We see that certain periodic orbits cause a phase transition, non-Gibbsianness and force the decay of correlations to be slow. We apply our results to higher-dimensional maps with indifferent periodic points.

We use the theory of Borel equivalence relations to analyze the equivalence relation of isomorphism among one-dimensional subshifts. We show that this equivalence relation is a universal countable Borel equivalence relation, so that it admits no definable complete invariants fundamentally simpler than the equivalence classes. We also see that the classification of higher dimensional subshifts up to isomorphism has the same complexity as for the one-dimensional case.  相似文献

A dynamical zeta function is proposed for the subshift on an countable set. It is shown that the zeta function extends meromorphically to some domain where its poles (including multiplicities) are the inverse of the isolated eigenvalues of the transfer operator associated to the subshift.  相似文献

For a very ample line bundle L on a smooth projective algebraic curve C, we prove that, under some circumstances on positive integers \(\gamma , d\), if one had \(\dim V^{d-1}_{d}(L)=d-1-\gamma \), then the scheme \(V^{\gamma +2}_{\gamma +3}(L)\), if non-empty, would be 2-dimensional. Furthermore, for a 2-very ample line bundle L on C and an integer d, \(4\le d\le h^0(L)-2\), it will be proved that the dimension of the scheme \( V^{d-1}_{d}(L)\) cannot attain its maximum value, i.e. \(d-2\). This will be used to prove irreduciblity of the highest secant loci of L, namely \(V^{h^0(L)-2}_{h^0(L)-1}(L)\). Then we discuss on the existence of very ample line bundles having reducible highest secant loci on k-gonal curves. Extending a well-known result of Montserrat Teixidor to secant loci, our results answer a question proposed and left unanswered recently by Marian Aprodu and Edoardo Sernesi.  相似文献

Let Ω be a Borel subset of where S is countable. A measure is called exchangeable on Ω, if it is supported on Ω and is invariant under every Borel automorphism of Ω which permutes at most finitely many coordinates. De-Finetti's theorem characterizes these measures when . We apply the ergodic theory of equivalence relations to study the case , and obtain versions of this theorem when Ω is a countable state Markov shift, and when Ω is the collection of beta expansions of real numbers in [0,1] (a non-Markovian constraint).  相似文献

We consider minimal, aperiodic symbolic subshifts and show how to characterize the combinatorial property of bounded powers by means of a metric property. For this purpose we construct a family of graphs which all approximate the subshift space, and define a metric on each graph, which extends to a metric on the subshift space. The characterization of bounded powers is then given by the Lipschitz equivalence of a suitably defined infimum metric with the corresponding supremum metric. We also introduce zeta-functions and relate their abscissa of convergence to various exponents of complexity of the subshift. Our results, following a previous work of two of the authors, are based on constructions in non commutative geometry.  相似文献

We develop a multifractal random tilling that fills the square. The multifractal is formed by an arrangement of rectangular blocks of different sizes, areas and number of neighbors. The overall feature of the tilling is an heterogeneous and anisotropic random self-affine object. The multifractal is constructed by an algorithm that makes successive sections of the square. At each n-step there is a random choice of a parameter ρi related to the section ratio. For the case of random choice between ρ1 and ρ2 we find analytically the full spectrum of fractal dimensions.  相似文献

Let π:XY be a factor map, where (X,σX) and (Y,σY) are subshifts over finite alphabets. Assume that X satisfies weak specification. Let a=(a1,a2)∈R2 with a1>0 and a2?0. Let f be a continuous function on X with sufficient regularity (Hölder continuity, for instance). We show that there is a unique shift invariant measure μ on X that maximizes . In particular, taking f≡0 we see that there is a unique invariant measure μ on X that maximizes the weighted entropy a1hμ(σX)+a2hμ°π−1(σY), which answers an open question raised by Gatzouras and Peres (1996) in [15]. An extension is given to high dimensional cases. As an application, we show that for each compact invariant set K on the k-torus under a diagonal endomorphism, if the symbolic coding of K satisfies weak specification, then there is a unique invariant measure μ supported on K so that dimHμ=dimHK.  相似文献

By now the multifractal structure of self-similar measures satisfying the so-called Open Set Condition is well understood. However, if the Open Set Condition is not satisfied, then almost nothing is known. In this paper we prove a nontrivial lower bound for the symbolic multifractal spectrum of an arbitrary self-similar measure. We emphasize that we are considering arbitrary self-similar measures (and sets) which are not assumed to satisfy the Open Set Condition or similar separation conditions. We will study a certain synchronizing property of subshifts called λ-synchronization. The λ-synchronizing subshifts form a large class of irreducible subshifts containing irreducible sofic shifts. We prove that the λ-synchronization is invariant under flow equivalence of subshifts. The λ-synchronizing K-groups and the λ-synchronizing Bowen-Franks groups are studied and proved to be invariant under flow equivalence of λ-synchronizing subshifts. They are new flow equivalence invariants for λ-synchronizing subshifts.  相似文献

It has recently been shown that a strongly irreducible subshift of finite type in two or more dimensions may have more than one measure of maximal entropy. In this paper we obtain some results on when (i.e. for what kinds of subshifts of finite type) this happens, and when it does not. In particular, we show that the parameter of a certain subshift of finite type introduced by Burton and Steif has a critical value, below which we have a unique measure of maximal entropy, and above which we have non-uniqueness.  相似文献

For a factor code between subshifts of finite type, we analyze the associated relative entropy function and give a necessary condition for the existence of saturated compensation functions. Necessary and sufficient conditions for a map to be a saturated compensation function will be provided.

In this paper we study the distribution of hitting times for a class of random dynamical systems. We prove that for invariant measures with super-polynomial decay of correlations hitting times to dynamically defined cylinders satisfy exponential distribution. Similar results are obtained for random expanding maps. We emphasize that what we establish is a quenched exponential law for hitting times.  相似文献
