0+, 2+, 44 and 3? states in 112–124Sn have been studied with the (p, p′γ) reaction and in Coulomb excitation. Absolute E2 transition rates between these levels have been extracted with the aid of the Winther-de Boer code. For 116,118Sn, B(E2; 41+ → 21+) ≈ 20 W.u., suggesting a two-phonon character of the 41+ states. For the lighter and heavier isotopes, this value is significantly smaller. All observed values of B(E2; 22+ → 21+) and B(E2; 23+→ 21+) are about 5 W.u. Also. values of B(E3; 01+ → 3?1) have been measured for all stable even Sn nuclei. In 116Sn the branching ratio (31? → 01+)/(31? → 21+) has been measured. From this we obtain a half-life of 0.34±0.07 ps for the first 3? level in 116Sn and B(E1; 31? → 21+) = (1.4±0.3) × 10?5'e2 · b, corresponding to a hindrance factor of 103.  相似文献

A small rotational perturbation has been found in the 5Δi ground state of FeO. This occurs in the v = 2 level of the Ω = 2 substate, and only one Λ-boudling component of one rotational level is affected. The perturbing state, which lies about 2100 cm?1 above the lowest spin-orbit level of the molecule, is orbitally nondegenerate, and is likely to belong to the 7Σ+ state arising from the configuration (4)1(3)2(3)2(3)1. The new state, a7Σ+, is possibly responsible for anomalies in the intensity pattern of the FeO? photodetachment spectrum of Engelking and Lineberger [J. Chem. Phys., 66, 5054–5058 (1977)]. Improved vibrational and rotational constants are presented for the ground state, combining new Fourier transform measurements of the Λ-doubling in X5Δ1 with the recent microwave data of Endo et al. [Astrophys. J., 278, L131–132 (1984)].  相似文献

A systematic investigation was carried out on115In to determine the contribution of different reactions to the total non-elastic cross-section in the 13.43 and 14.84 MeV incident neutron energy range. All the major components ofσ NE were measured with exception of theσ g(n, n′) cross section. An analytical expression is recommended to estimate theσ NE data as a function of mass number at En=14.1 MeV. By the knowledge ofσ NE, the energy dependence ofσ g(n, n′) could be deduced. The isomeric cross section ratios both for (n, 2n) and (n, n′) processes were also determined in the given energy range. The present experiment proves the dependence ofσ m/(σ g+σ m) ratio on the spin value (I m) of the isomeric state in the (n, 2n) reaction. Excitation functions of the (n, 2n), (n, n′) (n, p) and (n∶ p, α) reactions calculated by STAPRE code show good agreement with the experimental results.  相似文献

An analytic expression is obtained for the time dependence Q ?1(t) of internal friction associated with plasticity of a phase transformation. Time dependences Q ?1(t) of internal friction of the Pb-62Sn and Pb-1.9Sn alloys (wt.%) alloys were studied in the regime of continuous excitation of resonant flexural vibrations. The measurements of the Q ?1(t) dependences for 1 h at room temperature and a fixed strain amplitude ε0 ≈ 7 and 19 min) for the Pb-62Sn alloy. For the Pb-1.9Sn alloy under the same conditions, an exponential decrease followed by an internal friction peak (at t m ≈ 7 min) is observed. It is shown numerically that the above singularities of internal friction are formed by processes of intermittent phase decomposition of Pb-Sn alloys in the cyclic stress field produced by an external load. Experimental data on Q ?1(t) are used for reconstructing the kinetic curves describing the decomposition (conversion) ratio as a function of time and for calculating the corresponding values of parameters K and n of the Avrami kinetic equation for the Pb-62Sn alloy.  相似文献

Coherent neutron scattering lengths and free cross sections were measured for arsenic, for ordinary selenium and its isolated isotopes. By means of the Cristiansen filter technique the following scattering lengths for the bound atoms were obtained (in fm):b(As) =6.58(1) [b +=6.04(5) andb ?=7.47(8)],b(Se)=7.970(9),b(76Se)=12.2(1),b(77Se) =08.25(8),b(78Se)=8.24(9),b(80Se)=7.48(3) andb(82Se)=6.34(8). Transmission measurements with neutrons of 1.26 eV and 5.19 eV resulted in an energy independent free scattering cross section for arsenic ofσ s, t=5.40(3)b (in the eV-region). For ordinary selenium energy dependent free cross sections ofσ s, t(1.26 eV)=7.9(1)b andσ s, t (5.19 eV)=7.55(3)b were found. The results were compared with the resonance parameters of the nuclei and with different sets of potential scattering radii. Thus it could be concluded that there is no evidence for a bound state of the neutron-nucleus compound75As+n but a clear evidence for strong bound levels of76Se+n and77Se+n.  相似文献

The partial sum σ(2)(Eγ) = Σi?2 σ(γ, in…), representing the inclusive cross section for all reaction channels in which at least two neutrons are emitted, has been measured with a quasimonochromatic photon beam obtained by the in-flight annihilation of monoenergetic positrons, and neutron multiplicity counting. These experimental results, taken with photon energies Eγ from 145 up to 440 MeV for Pb and with photon energies Eγ= 235 MeV and 330 MeV for Al, Cu, Zr, Sn, Ho, Ta and U, are subsequently used to determine the total photonuclear absorption cross section σ(tot: Eγ) and to study the dependence upon the mass number A of the normalized cross section σ(tot: Eγ)/A. These results are then compared with other information on the total photonuclear absorption cross section.  相似文献

The decay ofrf resonance signals (Δm F =± 1, ΔF=0) in the hfs-states (F=3/2, 5/2) of the 63 P 2-state of199Hg has been observed by means of a sampling method. By comparing the relaxation times to those of the even isotopes, the cross section σ2(F) for the destruction of an alignment in the hfs-states by collisions with ground state Hg-atoms could be measured. The following ratios were obtained: σ2(F=3/2)/σ2=1.04±0.06 and σ2(F=5/2)/σ2=0.90± 0.03. The cross section σ2 for the even isotopes was found to be (2.620±0.265) 10?14cm2. Assuming total decoupling of nuclear spinI and electronic angular momentumJ during the collision, the cross sections for the destruction of an orientation (σ1) and an “octupolarisation” (σ3) could be calculated. For the even isotopes the following ratios were derived: σ12=0.76 ± 0.07 and σ32=1.08 ± 0.09.  相似文献

Absorption spectra of Ni2+ doped NaCl, KCl, and RbCl were measured in the spectral range from 55,000 to 5,000 cm?1. The bands in the UV region are ascribed to the transition 3t 1u(σ, π)→3e g(σ) of NiCl6 complex ion. The connection of the intensity of charge transfer andd-d transitions has been discussed.  相似文献

Photoionization of H2(1Σg+) in a vibrational υ″ and rotational N″ state into H2+(2Σg+) in a vibrational υ′ and rotational N′ state is studied theoretically. The differential cross section, after summing over the final states, is expressed in the well-known simple form of (σT)[1 + βP2(cos θ)]. Parallel expressions are obtained for H2+ in a specific υ′ state (in terms of σ(υ′) and β(υ′)) and for H2+ in a rotational fine level υ′N′ (in terms of σ(υ′N′) and β(υ′N′)). Asymmetry parameters β, β(υ′) and β υ′N′), which are expressed in terms of Racah and Clebsch-Gordan coefficients and electronic transition moments, can be reduced approximately to 2 lineary polarized light and to -1 for unpolarized light. Using single-center electronic wave functions and including partial eaves l = 1, 3, and 5, σ(υ′) and β(υ′) are computed as a function of υ′ at 584 Å. The computed σ(υ′) divided by the Frank-Condon overlap, in agreement with experimental results, increases monotonically with υ′; σT and β are computed in the incident photon energy range of 600–4000 Å and the results compare favorably with previous calculations.  相似文献

New excited states in the nucleus132Sn have been identified fromγγ coincidence measurements. Strong beta feeding to a state at 7,210 keV was established. This level is interpreted as a 6? state formed after aπg 9 2/?1 →vg 7 2/?1 GTβ ? transition from the 7? ground state of132In. The deexcitation of the 7,210 keV state passes through a 4,351 keV state, providing support for a 3? assignment of this level.  相似文献

In the reaction π? + A → π+π?π? + A at 15.1 GeV/c the coherently produced 3π mass spectrum has a broad peak around 1.1 GeV which consists mainly of a JP = 1+ state and of a smaller fraction of 0-. Comparing the observed dependence of the production of these diffractive states on the atomic weight A of the target nuclei with the optical model, we have studied the absorption of the produced states in nuclear matter. We have found the following values of the absorption cross-sections: σ2(0-) = 49?7+9 mb and σ2(1+) = 15.8?1.3+1.5 mb.  相似文献

High-spin levels in125Ba have been produced in the116Sn(12 C, 3n) reaction and studied by in-beam spectroscopic methods. Two strongly populated band structures are observed. The odd-parity one is based on a 7/2? state and can be explained as the result of the coupling between anh 11/2 neutron-hole and a prolate type triaxial core. The even-parity band, built on a 7/2+ state, corresponds to collective excitations associated with a neutron-hole in theg 7/2 shell. Comparisons with heavier odd-A Ba isotopes and discussions are made in the frame work of the triaxial core model. Nuclear Reactions116Sn(12C, 3nγ), E=45–55 MeV; measuredσ(E;E γ,θ),γγ-coinc,γ-γ delay. The lifetimes of several negative-parity states in126,130Xe and132Ba have been determined by means of the generalized centroid-shift method. The reactions124,128Te(α,2n) and122Sn(13C, 3n) have been used. Following results were obtained:T 1/2(2758 keV)=1.3±0.2 ns in126Xe,T 1/2(2060 keV)=0.20±0.10 ns,T 1/2(2104 keV)=0.50±0.10 ns,T 1/2(2376 keV)=0.30±0.10 ns andT 1/2(2973 keV)=4.6±0.4 ns in130Xe as well asT 1/2(2120 keV)=0.40 ?0.10 +0.20 ns in132Ba. A systematics of the B(E2; 7 ? 1 ?5 1 ? ) values in theN=76 nuclei is presented. Electric dipole and quadrupole transition rates are discussed in terms of octupole and quadrupole collectivity. The structure of the 5 1 ? and 7 1 ? states is considered. Nuclear reactions:124,128Te(α, 2 n ),E=26 MeV,122Sn (13C, 3n),E=53 MeV; measuredE γ I γ , γ-r.f. DeducedT 1/2, B(σL) in126,130Xe and132Ba. A formulation of generalized vector dominance (GVD), consistent with the parton model (PM) for deep inelastic electroproduction, is presented. The parton distributions at small x are correctly predicted in terms of the photoabsorption parameters. It is found that no charmed partons exist in the sea of the nucleon. The pomeron ??c coupling and the ?c ? photoproduction cross section are negligible. The ratio σL/σT for deep inelatic and diffractive electroproduction is found to be small. This is related to the prediction that the highest Regge singularity coupled to longitudinal vector mesons is a cut with intercept minus one. In the time-like region it implies that the angular distribution in e+e?π + X is ~ (3?cos2Θ), in consistence with experiment and disagreement with PM. Finally the large value of σ(e+e? → hadrons) is attributed to a series of ?c's.  相似文献

Multireference configuration interaction (MRCI) and complete active space second-order perturbation theory (CASPT2) calculations are performed on Fe2 and Fe? 2. Although it is not possible to definitively identify the ground states of Fe2 and Fe? 2, the calculations suggest that the ground state of Fe? 2 in 8Σ? u derived from 3d132 g2 u and that the states observed in photodetachment are the 9Σ? g and 7Σ? g states with a 3d132 g1 u occupation, but that the ground state of Fe2 is 7Δu(3d142 g) and is not observed in the photo-detachment spectra.  相似文献

Nb3Sn diffusion layers were irradiated with 24 MeV oxygen ions at fluences from 3.2×1013 up to 1.6×1015 cm?2. The enhancement of the superconducting critical current density Δj c has been measured as a function of fluence and of the external magnetic fieldH a(j cH a). The thermal annealing treatment of the defects concerning thej c and induced by irradiation, has been investigated in the temperature region from 200 to 800 °C. The results are compared with the measurements of irradiation of Nb3Sn with protons and deuterons. The measured data are discussed in connection with size of defects, cluster distance, fluxline distance and pinning-force.  相似文献

Time differentialγγ-angular correlation measurements have been performed to determine the electric interaction of the 2.3 MeVI=5? state of120Sn in different polycristalline antimony compounds. A calibration of the field gradient was achieved by Mößbauerexperiments with the 23.8 keVI=3/2+ state in119Sn using identical sources. From the ratio of the measured electric interactions the ratio of the quadrupole moments is deduced as: $$\left| {\frac{{Q(2.3{\mathbf{ }}MeV level,{\mathbf{ }}I = 5^ - ,^{120} Sn)}}{{Q(2.8{\mathbf{ }}keV level,{\mathbf{ }}I = {3 \mathord{\left/ {\vphantom {3 2}} \right. \kern-\nulldelimiterspace} 2}^ + ,^{119} Sn)}}} \right| = 2.86(15)$$ . Using 0.06 (2) b for the quadrupole moment of the 23.8 keV level in119Sn one gets for the quadrupole moment of the 2.3 MeV level in120Sn ¦Q(2.3 MeV level,I=5?,120Sn)¦=0.021 (8) b.  相似文献

The first experimental study of the interaction γγπ+πt- has been carried out in the region of ?(660) through the reaction e+e? → e+e?π+π?. Based on two observed events, the γγ width of ?(660) is obtained to be Γ?γγ = 9.6?8.0+12.3 keV. Applied on this, theory of P.C.D.C. anomaly predicts R = 5.8?3.5+3.2 for the asymptotic value of σ(e+e? → hadrons)/σ(e+e?μ+μ?).  相似文献

We have measured the total and differential cross-sections for coherently photoproduced ?, ω and ?′ on deuterium at 7.5 GeV. Using VDM relations, we have obtained γω2/γ?2 = 7.1 ± 1.5, σT(?d) = (54 ± 2) mb and σT(ωd) = (56 ± 5) mb. Assuming the amplitude for ?′ production via an intermediate ?0 to be small and that the amplitudes for ?p and ?′p elastic scattering are comparable, we found γ?2/γ?2 = 6.0 ± 1.2 and σT(?′d) = (47 ± 6) mb.  相似文献
