The dependence of fidelity on the squeezing parameter in teleportation of the squeezed coherent statesvglue4pt

This paper investigates an analytical expression of teleportation fidelity in the teleportation scheme of a single mode of electromagnetic field. The fidelity between the original squeezed coherent state and the teleported one is expressed in terms of the squeezing parameter r and the quantum channel parameter (two-mode squeezed state) p. The results of analysis show that the fidelity increases with the increase of the quantum channel parameter p, while the fidelity decreases with the increase of the squeezing parameter r of the squeezed state. Thus the coherent state (r=0) is the best quantum signal for continuous variable quantum teleportation once the quantum channel is built.     

Realistic teleportation of coherent states using squeezed vacuum states

This paper presents a realistic scheme for the teleportation of coherent states in which a two-mode squeezed vacuum state serves as the quantum channel and the position-sum and momentum-difference of two local modes serve as the measuring observables. The average fidelity of the teleportation of coherent states is derived for finite squeezing parameters and it turns out that fidelity greater than 1/2 cannot be achieved by using a classical channel alone and the probability distribution of the measurement result is a Gaussian distribution around the unknown parameter of the input coherent state with a width given by the squeezing parameter.     

Statistical properties of coherent photon-subtracted two-mode squeezed vacuum and its application in quantum teleportation

We introduce a kind of non-Gaussian entangled state, which can be obtained by operating a non-local coherent photon-subtraction operation on a two-mode squeezed vacuum. It is found that its normalization factor is only related to the Legendre polynomials, which is a compact expression. Its statistical properties are discussed by the negative region Wigner function with the analytical expression. As an application, the quantum teleportation for coherent states is considered by using the non-Gaussian state as an entangled channel. It is found that the teleportation fidelity can be enhanced by this non-Gaussian operation.     

Continuous-variable quantum teleportation of even and odd coherent states through varied gain channels

This paper has investigated quantum teleportation of even and odd coherent states in terms of the EPR entanglement states for continuous variables. It discusses the relationship between the fidelity and the entanglement of EPR states, which is characterized by the degree of squeezing and the gain of classical channels. It shows that the quality of teleporting quantum states also depends on the characteristics of the states themselves. The properties of teleporting even and odd coherent states at different intensities are investigated. The difference of teleporting two such kinds of quantum states are analysed based on the quantum distance function.     

Effects of photon addition on quantum nonlocality of squeezed entangled coherent states

Effects of photon addition on quantum nonlocality of squeezed entangled coherent states for Bell-inequality tests are studied theoretically. By utilizing the method of photon-parity measurement, it is found that photon addition can always increase the degrees of Bell violations within a certain parameter range. A possible scheme for generating photon-added squeezed entangled coherent states is proposed.     

Quantum teleportation of entangled squeezed vacuum states

An optical scheme for probabilistic teleporting entangled squeezed vacuum states (SVS) is proposed. In this scheme, the teieported state is a bipartite entangled SVS, and the quantum channel is a tripartite entangled SVS. The process of the teleportation is achieved by using a 50/50 symmetric beamsplitter and photon detectors with the help of classical information.     

Oscillation behaviour in the photon-number distribution of squeezed coherent states

From the normally ordered form of the density operator of a squeezed coherent state(SCS),we directly derive the compact expression of the SCS’s photon-number distribution(PND).Besides the known oscillation characteristics,we find that the PND is a periodic function with a period of π and extremely sensitive to phase.If the squeezing is strong enough,and the compound phase which is relevant to the complex squeezing and displacement parameters are assigned appropriate values,different oscillation behaviours in PND for even and odd photon numbers appear,respectively.     

单-双模组合压缩热态的纠缠性质及在量子隐形传态中的应用

基于单-双模组合压缩真空态一定范围内能够获得压缩增强的效果,引入单-双模组合压缩热态(DSMST),讨论其纠缠性质.利用Weyl编序算符在相似变换下的不变性,简洁方便地导出了DSMST的纠缠度-负对数值,并给出了当热效应存在时保持纠缠的条件.研究表明:与通常的双模压缩态相比,随着参数的增加,DSMST的纠缠度增加.作为DSMST的应用,利用其实现相干态的量子隐形传输.结果表明:不同于纠缠度随压缩参数增加,保真度获得改善是有条件的,该条件恰好就是一正交分量涨落出现压缩增强的参数区域.此外,解析推导了有效隐形传输保真度(1/2)的条件.     

Properties of field quantum entropy evolution in the Jaynes--Cummings model with initial squeezed coherent states field

The properties of the field quantum entropy evolution in a system of a single-mode squeezed coherent state field interacting with a two-level atom is studied by utilizing the complete quantum theory, and we focus our attention on the discussion of the influences of field squeezing parameter $\gamma $, atomic distribution angle $\theta $ and coupling strength $g$ between the field and the atom on the properties of the evolution of field quantum entropy. The results obtained from numerical calculation indicate that the amplitude of oscillation of field quantum entropy evolution decreases with the increasing of squeezing parameter $\gamma $, and that both atomic distribution angle $\theta $ and coupling strength $g$ between the field and the atom can influence the periodicity of field quantum entropy evolution.     

Preparation of multicomponent motional coherent and squeezed coherent states of a trapped ion

In this paper, we present a scheme for preparation of multicomponent motional coherent and squeezed coherent states of the quantized centre of mass of an ion trapped in a one-dimensional harmonic potential and driven by two travelling-wave laser beams tuned to the nth red and blue vibrational sidebands, respectively. In addition, our scheme also provides experimental possibility for quantum state engineering.     

双模最小关联混合态作为量子信道实现量子隐形传态的保真度

基于Braunstein和Kimble提出的B-K方案以双模最小关联混合态作为量子信道实施对未知量子态的隐形传送，并以传送相干态为例进行了研究.结果表明：双模最小关联混合态作为一种广义的Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen型纠缠态在实现量子隐形传态中能很好地担当量子信道的角色，在纠缠度和压缩度选择适当的条件下被传送未知量子态的保真度可以达到1.这是比双模压缩真空态更优越的量子信道. 关键词： 量子隐形传态 双模最小关联混合态 保真度

Entanglement diversion and quantum teleportation of entangled coherent states

The proposals on entanglement diversion and quantum teleportation of entangled coherent states are presented.In these proposals, the entanglement between two coherent states, $|\alpha\rangle$ and $|-\alpha\rangle$, with the same amplitude but a phase difference of $\pi$ is utilized as a quantum channel. The processes of the entanglement diversion and the teleportation are achieved by using the 50/50 symmetric beam splitters, the phase shifters and the photodetectors with the help of classical information.

Quasiprobabilities based on squeezed states

We introduce quasiprobabilities based on the so-called squeezed states to represent the density operator of an oscillator. Such representations become especially useful for oscillators designed to display, strong excitation notwithstanding, pronounced quantum features such as squeezing of the quantum fluctuations of certain observables below the limit characteristic of coherent states.     

Higher-order squeezing of quantum electromagnetic fields and higher-order uncertainty relations in two-mode squeezed states

It is found that the two-mode output quantum electromagnetic field in two-mode squeezed states exhibits higherorder squeezing to all even orders, and the degree of higher-order squeezing is greater than that of the second-order.The higher-order squeezed parameter and squeezed limit due to the modulation frequency are investigated. The smaller the modulation frequency is, the stronger the degree of higher-order squeezing becomes. Furthermore, the higher-order uncertainty relations in two-mode squeezed states are presented for the first time. The product of higher-order noise moments is related to even order number N and the squeeze factor r.     

Entanglement fidelity of the standard quantum teleportation channel

We consider the standard quantum teleportation protocol where a general bipartite state is used as entanglement resource. We use the entanglement fidelity to describe how well the standard quantum teleportation channel transmits quantum entanglement and give a simple expression for the entanglement fidelity when it is averaged on all input states.

Amplitude-squared squeezing of superposition of coherent states

This paper discusses the amplitude-squared squeezing for the superposition of two coherent states with their phase differences being separately π/2, 3π/2, and π1, as well as for the superposition state of two pseudoclassical states. According to the analysis, it is found that the superposition state of two coherent states with their phase differences π/2 and 3π/2, and the superposition state of two pseudoclassical states both do exhibit the amplitude-squared squeezing. Also, some specific states are found to exhibit even stronger squeezing effects when relative phase of the superposition is equal to the average photon number. Amplitude-squared squeezing is dependent on the difference in phase between two coherent states.     

Amplitude-squared squeezing in superposed coherent states

We study amplitude-squared squeezing of the Hermitian operator Z_θ=Z₁ cosθ+Z₂ sin θ, in the most general superposition state , of two coherent states and . Here operators Z_1,2 are defined by , a is annihilation operator, θ is angle, and complex numbers C_1,2 , α, β are arbitrary and only restriction on these is the normalization condition of the state . We define the condition for a state to be amplitude-squared squeezed for the operator Z_θ if squeezing parameter , where N=a⁺a and . We find maximum amplitude-squared squeezing of Z_θ in the superposed coherent state with minimum value 0.3268 of the parameter S for an infinite combinations with α- β= 2.16 exp [±i(π/4) + iθ/2], and with arbitrary values of (α+β) and θ. For this minimum value of squeezing parameter S, the expectation value of photon number can vary from the minimum value 1.0481 to infinity. Variations of the parameter S with different variables at maximum amplitude-squared squeezing are also discussed.
