Compound nucleus states in 5Li and 5He have been investigated with the 3He(d,p)pt and 3H(d,n)pt three-particle reactions. The observed Jπ=32? states (EX≈20 MeV) can be understood, in analogy to the ground states of the A=5 system, by coupling a p32 nucleon to the first 0+ excited state of 4He.  相似文献

The absorption and MCD spectra of the 4A2g4T2g, 4A2g, 4A2g4T1ga and 4A2g4T1gb spin-allowed transitions of Cr3+ in K2NaGaF6 are reported. It is shown that transitions to the 4T1g. states are induced by T1u vibratio the other spin-allowed transition, 4A2g4T2g, there are three competing intensity mechanisms: electric dipole induced by T1u vibrations, electric dipole induced by T2u vibrations and magnetic dipole, and an estimate is made of the relative importance of these. The magnetic dipole 4A2g2Eg zero-phonon line is observed to be accompanied by a vibrational sideband for which the coupling is predominantly with T2u vibrations. Other weak transitions are observed in MCD spectra and their origin briefly discussed.  相似文献

No perturbation between two valence states of NO has ever been identified, although many valence-Rydberg and several Rydberg-Rydberg perturbations have been extensively studied. The first valence-valence crossing to be experimentally documented for NO is reported here and occurs between the 15N18O B2Π (v = 18) and B2Δ (v = 1) levels. No level shifts larger than the detection limit of 0.1 cm?1 are observed at the crossings near J = 6.5 [B 2Π(F1) ~ B′ 2Δ(F2)] and J = 12.5 [B 2Π(F1) ~ B′ 2Δ(F1)]; two crossings involving higher rotational levels could not be examined. Semi-empirical calculations of spin-orbit and Coriolis perturbation matrix elements indicate that although the electronic part of the B 2Π ~ B′ 2Δ interaction is large, a small vibrational factor renders the 15N18O B (v = 18) ? B′ (v = 1) perturbation unobservable. Semi-empirical estimates are given for all perturbation matrix elements of the operators Σia?ili·si and B(L±S? ? J±L?) which connect states belonging to the configurations (σ2p)2(π2p)412p), (σ2p)(π2p)412p)2, and (σ2p)2(π2p)312p)2.  相似文献

We consider a neutrino field with geodesic rays in interaction with a gravitational field admitting a Killing vector field nμ. It is found that for solutions of the Einstein-Weyl field equations the neutrino field ξA and the neutrino flux vector lμ are restricted by the equations: LnξA = ?12is ξA and Lnlμ = 0, whereas s is a real constant. In the case of pure radiation neutrino fields these equations become: LξA = case12(p ? is)ξA, Lnlμ = plμ, where p and s are in general real functions of the coordinates.  相似文献

A partial-wave analysis of the low-mass (π+π?p) system produced in the reaction K?p → K?(π+π?p) at 4.2 GeV/c incident momentum is performed in order to study the two (π+π?p) enhancements around 1500 and 1700 MeV. It is found that the low-mass (π+π?p) system can be described using the spin-parity states JP = 12+, 32? and 52+ only. In the 1500 MeV region contributions are observed from the 12+ wave decaying into p? and the 32? wave decaying into Δ++π?; in the 1700 MeV region contributions are found from the 12+ wave decaying into Δ++π?, the 32? wave decaying into p?, and the 52+ wave decaying into p?.  相似文献

We have investigated the reactions ppπ+π?a?and ppa?pp+?at 100 GeV/c. The ppπ+π? final state is dominated by diffractive production of a pπ+π? (orpπ+π?) system which shows a strong tendency to form Δ++π? (orΔ++π+). The process ppa?Δ++Δ++ is also observed in this reaction, indicating an energy dependence of s?1.5±0.1. The pp+? channel shows less single diffraction, and has a doubly diffractive component consistent with pomeron factorization. Strong Δ++(Δ++) production is agoain seen, but in contrast to the ppπ+π? channel we also observe considerable ?0 production.  相似文献

The vertical transition energies and oscillator strengths from the X?2Σ+ ground and A?2Π excited states of the ethynyl radical C2H to all higher-lying states resulting from excitation out of π and σ into π1 and σ1 valence-shell MO's, respectively, as well as into 3s and 3p Rydberg species, are calculated by large-scale CI techniques. It is found that the first excited states all result from π → π1 excitations (the lowest three with quartet character), and not from the 4σ → 5σ counterparts favored in the case of isoelectronic CN. This distinction can be explained on the basis of orbital stability differences caused by the effects of hydrogen mixing. The first six states of the C2H+ ion are also treated, and the correspondence with the various associated Rydberg series is discussed. Dipole moments for the X?2Σ+ and A?2Π states are also calculated.  相似文献

The 12?[521] and72+[633] one-quasiparticle bands in the N = 99 nucleus 171Hf have been identified to spins of about 452 using (heavy ion, xn) reactions. The moments of inertia of these bands are consistent with the absence of backbending in the N = 98 core nucleus. The half-life of the 52?[512] intrinsic state was measured as 63.6 ns. The strength of the 52?[512] → 72+[633] E1 transition is discussed. Two three-quasiparticle isomers with spins and parities 192+and232? have been identified and their suggested configurations are a 72+[633] neutron added to the 6+ and 8? two-quasiproton states of the core. The moment of inertia of a rotational band based on the 232? isomer supports this suggestion, and shows the effect of partial rotation alignment of the i132 neutron.  相似文献

We provide a simple proof that the kth gap, Δk, for the Mathieu operator ?d2dx2 + 2κ cos (2x) is Δk = 8(κ4)k [(k ? 1)!]?2 (1 + o(k?2)), a result obtained (up to the value of an integral) by Harrell. The key observation is that what is involved is tunneling in momentum space.  相似文献

Predissociations in the y1Πg and x1Σg? Rydberg states of N2 (configurations u?14pσ and u?13pπ, respectively) and their likely causes, are discussed. Peaking of rotational intensity at unusually low J values, without sharp breaking off, is interpreted as due to case c? or case ci predissociation. Λ doubling in the y state, attributed to interactions with the x1Σg? state and with another, 1Σ+, state of the same electron configuration as x, is analyzed. From this analysis the location of the (unobserved) 1Σg+ state, here labeled x′, is obtained. It is concluded that the predissociation in the Π+ levels of the y state is an indirect one mediated by the interaction with x′ coupled with predissociation of x′ by a 3Σg? state dissociating to 4S + 2P atoms: combined, however, with perturbation of the y state by the k1Πg Rydberg state (configuration g?14dπ), whose Π+ levels are completely predissociated.  相似文献

The three-body final states Σ±π?K0, Σ0π0K+ and Λπ0K+0 produced from πp interactions at 1.69 GeV/c are examined. The quasi-two-body state Λ(1405)K0 is discussed in detail. In particular, the spin of Λ(1405) is determined, via the method of Byers and Fenster, to be consistent with 12. The Σ±π? mass spectrum is compared to that produced by various zero-range and effective-range parametrizations and the Λ(1405) is found to have a mass of 1405 MeV and width of 45–55 MeV. Production and decay characteristics of the quasi-two-body states Σ(1385)0K0 are reported.  相似文献

The emission spectrum of the He2 molecule has been rephotographed in the ~4000–~5700 Å region and the 4d(3Σu+, 3Πu, 3Δu) → 2pπ3Πg, 4d(1Σu+, 1Πu, 1Δu) → 2pπ1Πg, 4s3Σu+ → 2pπ3Πg and 4s1Σu+ → 2pπ1Πg transitions analyzed. The 4dδj3Δu, 4dπj3Πu, 4dσj3Σu+ and 4sh3Σu+ states have been characterized through v = 2 and the 4dδJ1Δu, 4dπJ1Πu, 4dσJ1Σu+, and 4sH1Σu+ states for v = 0. The term levels for these perturbed and l-uncoupled states have been confirmed (a) by analyses of bands with common levels from Δv = 0, ±1 sequences and (b) by analyses of the transitions between the above states from 4d and 4s and the c3Σg+ and C1Σg+ states associated with 3. Molecular constants are reported which have been partially corrected for the effects of l-uncoupling and the homogeneous perturbations between the state pairs J, H and j, h.  相似文献

Dependence of static dielectric susceptibility and correlation length of charge density waves (CDW) with weak defects on parameter of incommensurability with lattice is investigated. The high-dispersion absorption spectrum of the CuH molecule has been photographed in the ~2500- to 1750-Å region. Observations include the previously reported D 1Π-X 1Σ+ and E 1Σ+-X 1Σ+ transitions and four new transitions which occur between 2100 and 1890 Å: F 1±-X 1Σ+, G 0+-X 1Σ+, H 1±-X 1Σ+, and I 1±-X 1Σ+. The D 1Π state has been characterized through v = 2 while the new observations on E 1Σ+ include v = 11 through 16. The F, H, and I states are characterized through v = 1. All of the upper states exhibit perturbations. In addition the H 1± and I 1± states show signs of predissociation.  相似文献

Angular distributions of the vector analyzing power and the absolute cross section were measured for the 58Ni(d, p)59Ni reaction at a deuteron energy of 10 MeV. The observed j-dependence of the vector analyzing power allowed unambiguous spin assignments for the following states in 59Ni with excitation energies in MeV: 0.0, 32?; 0.341, 52?; 0.465, 12?; 0.879, 32?; 1.303, 12?; 1.686, 52?; 3.454, 32?; 3.858, 32?; 4.495, 52+. The data are well reproduced by DWBA calculations employing deuteron and proton optical model parameters obtained from analyses of elastic scattering cross sections and polarizations. A tentative spin assignment of 92+ is made for the level at 3.061 MeV. A 52+ assignment to the level at 3.538 MeV is suggested on the basis of the empirical behavior of the j-dependence of the vector analyzing power for l = 2 transitions. Measurements of the vector analyzing power for the four low-lying 59Ni states formed by l = 1 transfer were made for angles from 2.5° to 15° using a magnetic spectrograph. A very strong j-dependence was observed for these far-forward-angle measurements in agreement with DWBA predictions.  相似文献

We evaluate cross sections for the two processes e+e?γ-photino-antiphotino, e+e?γ-gravitino-antiphotino. In the local limit approximation they are proportional to α3sm4 (spin-0 electron) and GNewtonα2sm2 (gravitino), respectively. I If spin-0 electrons have masses between 16 and 40 GeVc2, the γ-photino-antiphotino production cross section would be of the order of 0.4 to 0.1 pb at s = 40 GeV, with the cuts indicated in the text. Detecting this process is within the range of possibilities at PETRA. If no such signal is found the existence of light photinos coupled to spin-0 electrons lighter than ≈40 GeVc2, or to gravitinos lighter than ≈10?6eVc2, would be excluded.  相似文献

Rotational bands up to high-spin members in odd-neutron Hf nucleides are studied by in-beam spectroscopy using (α, xn) reactions on isotopically enriched Yb targets. The 12? [521], 52? [512], and the 72+ mixed positive-parity (mainly 72+ [633]) bands were observed in 173Hf and 175Hf while the 72? [514], 92+ (mainly 92+[624]), and the 3QP(K = 232+) bands were studied in 177Hf. The analysis of the band structure within the Nilsson model is extended to also include adjacent odd Hf nuclei making it possible to follow these bands through five isotopes of Hf.  相似文献

High-spin states in 195, 197Tl have been populated with (α, xn) reactions and studied by means of in-beam γ-ray and e? spectroscopic methods. Complementary studies of the decay of 195, 197Pb to 195, 197Tl have been carried out. Several new features have been observed in these nuclei. The 92? bands of 195, 197T1. extended to 272(?) and 292(?), respectively, show a quenching of energy spacings between the 232?, 252?, 272(? and 292(? states. This has been interpreted as resulting from the coupling of a h92 proton to the (πh?2112)8+, 10+ configurations in the core nuclei 194, 196Hg. Furthermore, positive-parity bands based on 152+ states were established up to the 352(+) and 292(+) states in 195, 197Tl respectively. Probably these bands originate from the coupling of a h92 proton to a broken neutron pair. This pair consists of a rotation-aligned i132 neutron and a low-j neutron in the P12, P32 or f52 shell. It is known to constitute the 5? bands in 194, 196Hg.  相似文献

Potential energy curves for the 4Σ+u, 4Πg and 6Σ+g states of N+2 that dissociate to N (4S0) and N+(3P), have been determined from a complete active space self-consistent field calculation. The 6Σ+g state is found to be significantly bound (De = 2.68 eV) with a minimum at 1.72 Å.  相似文献

We have studied the reaction K-p → K-π+π-π+π-p at 14.3 GeV/c to search for evidence of the double dissociation process K-pQN121. In the channel K-pK10 (890)π1-π2-Δ++ (1236) there is evidence for simultaneous production of low-mass enhancements in the K10π1- and Δ++(1236)π2- subsystems which correspond to the QK1 (890)π and N121 → Δπ decay modes. In this particular final state the double fragmentation system is produced with a cross section of the order of a few microbarns. Our data are consistent with the factorizable pomeron exchange model of double diffractive dissociation.  相似文献
