The helicity amplitudes for J/ψ→Λ■ and the relevant background decays are presented for measuring the ■ decay parameter α (■→π ) in J/ψ→Λ■. The Monte Carlo (MC) simulations based on the helicity amplitudes information are carried out. The likelihood fit method to determine the ■ decay parameter is presented. Based on the MC generated sample, the sensitivity of the measurement for α has been estimated, which shows that the J/ψ→Λ■ channel can be used to measure the ■ decay parameter α (■→π ) well.  相似文献

Using the sequential decay process m e+e- → J/ψ → ΛΛ, Λ → pπ-, Λ → pπ+ as an example, the procedure for deducing the full angular distribution is illustrated by adopting both the Jacob-Wick and Jackson conventions in the helicity formalism. To make sure that the final physical result is free of phase conventions, we point out that the coefficients that relate the angular momentum states in different coordinate systems of reference frames have to be taken into account properly in the procedure. The fact that those coefficients are constants suggests that the Jackson convention is favorable in dealing with the processes with sequential decays.  相似文献

Based on 58 million J/ψ events collected by the BESⅡ detector at the BEPC, J/ψ→ΛΛ π+π- is observed for the first time. The branching fraction is measured to be Br(J/ψ→ΛΛ π+π-)=(4.30±0.13±0.99)×10-3, excluding the decays to intermediate states, namely J/ψ→Ξ-Ξ+, J/ψ→Σ(1385)-Σ(1385)+, and J/ψ→Σ(1385)+Σ(1385)-. The branching fractions for these intermediate resonance channels are measured to be:Br(J/ψ→Ξ-Ξ+)=(0.90±0.03±0.18)×10-3, Br(J/ψ→Σ(1385)-Σ(1385)+)=(1.23±0.07±0.30)×10-3,and Br(J/ψ→Σ(1385)+Σ(1385)-)=(1.50±0.08±0.38)×10-3, respectively. The angular distribution is of the form dN/d(cosθ)α(1+αcos2θ) with α=(0.35±0.29±0.06) for J/ψ→Ξ-Ξ+, α=(-0.54±0.22±0.10) for J/ψ→Σ(1385)-Σ(1385)+, and α=(-0.35±0.29±0.06) for J/ψ→Σ(1385)+Σ(1385)-.  相似文献

The helicity amplitudes for the processes of e^+e^- →J/ψ→γηc→γYY(Y: hyperon) are presented, together with the joint angular distributions for ηc decays into ∧∧,∑^0 ∑^0, and [1]-[1]+. The sensitivities to measure the hyperon decay parameters in these decays are evaluated based on the helicity amplitudes. The prospects to test the Bell inequality in experiment using the decay of ηc→∧∧ are discussed.  相似文献

The formalisms of helicity coupling amplitudes for J/ψ→π^+π^-π^0 are presented. A detailed discussion is also given on the barrier factor, Breit Wigner, and density matrix. A Monte Carlo simulation of J/ψ→ρ(770)π→π^+π^-π^0 is carried out. The results show that the p(770) resonance is well reproduced compared with experimental data.  相似文献

We study the effects of the fourth quark generation model in Bs → π-K+ decay. Combining with the up-to-date experimental measurement for B(Bs → π-K+) and Acpdir(Bs → π-K+) by the CDF Collaboration, we derive the new bound of weak phase øbd, which are 0°< øbd <44°, 321°< øbd < 360° and 0°< øbd < 26°, 342°< øbd < 360° for mt'=400 and 600 GeV respectively. In these regions, B(Bs → π-K+) and Acpdir(Bs → π-K+) consist with the current experimental data within errors.  相似文献

In the framework of factorization, we study direct CP violation in the decays of B(s)→J/ψP(V) (P(V) refer to the pseudoscalar (vector) meson). The CP violation depends strongly on Cabibbo-Kobayashi- Maskawa (CKM) matrix elements and the effective parameter, Nc. The recent experimental data for the branching ratios of B(s)→J/ψP(V) are accurate enough and we can give a strong constraint on the range of Nc. We nd that the CP violating asymmetry is consistent with the available experiment values for the b→d transition, and a little smaller than the b→s transition. We also predict the CP violation of other decay channels for B(s)→J/ψP(V). We expect our results can give valuable guidance for experiments.  相似文献

The production of Λ-hypernuclei in the A(p, K+)ΛB reaction is investigated in the framework of the distorted wave impulse approximation(DWIA). The total cross sections and differential cross sections for various nuclear targets are calculated with an elementary process pN→NKΛ where the additional contributions from the N*(1535) resonance and the final state interaction between p and Λ are included. The dependence of the production cross sections of Λ-hypernuclei on the phenomenological nuclear density and the nucleon number in the target, as well as the distortion effect of the incident proton and outgoing kaon, are also explored. It is shown that the distortion effect tends to decrease the cross  相似文献

We investigate the D0-D0 mixing through the doubly Cabibbo suppressed (DCS) channel D0→f0(980)K*0 and its charge conjugate channel, in which the K*0 meson is reconstructed in both K+π and K0 final state. Although the decay D0→f0(980)K* has a small branching ratio, the final state mesons are relatively easy to identify. The f0(980) meson can be replaced by the S-wave π+π state, or a longitudinally polarized vector meson ρ0. All mixing parameters, including the mass difference and decay width difference, can be extracted by studying the time-dependent decay width of these channels. We show that the method is valid in all regions for mixing parameters and it does not depend on the strong phase difference.  相似文献

Effects of core polarization and tensor coupling on the magnetic moments in 13ΛC, 17Λ, and 41ΛCa Λ-hypernuclei are studied by employing the Dirac equation with scalar, vector and tensor potentials. It is found that the effect of core polarization on the magnetic moments is suppressed by Λ tensor coupling. The Λ tensor potential reduces the spin--orbit splitting of pΛ states considerably. However, almost the same magnetic moments are obtained using the hyperon wavefunction obtained via the Dirac equation either with or without the Λ tensor potential in the electromagnetic current vertex. The deviations of magnetic moments for pΛ states from the Schmidt values are found to increase with nuclear mass number.  相似文献

Using data samples collected at center-of-mass energies of √s=4.009, 4.230, 4.260, and 4.360 GeV with the BES0 detector operating at the BEPC/ collider, we perform a search for the process e+e-→γχc,j (J =0, 1, 2) and find evidence for e+e-→γχc1 and e+e-→γχc2 with statistical significances of 3.0σ and 3.4σ, respectively. The Born cross sections σB(e+e-→γχc,j), as well as their upper limits at the 90% con dence level (C.L.) are determined at each center-of-mass energy.  相似文献

Apart from the charmful decay channels of Y(4260), the charmless decay channels of Y(4260) also provide us a good platform to study the nature and the decay mechanism of Y(4260). In this paper, we propose to probe the structure of Y(4260) through the charmless decays Y(4260)→VP via intermediate D1D+c.c. meson loops, where V and P stand for light vector and pseudoscalar mesons, respectively. Under the molecule ansatz of Y(4260), the predicted total branching ratio BRVP for all Y(4260)→VP processes are about (0.34-0.23+0.23)% to (0.75-0.52+0.72)% with the cutoff parameter α=2-3. Numerical results show that the intermediate m D1D+c.c. meson loops may be a possible transition mechanism in the Y(4260)→VP decays. These predicted branching ratios are the same order to that of Y(4260)→Zc+(3900)π-, which may be an evidence of D1D molecule and can be examined by the forthcoming BESⅢ data in the near future.  相似文献

In a combined investigation of B→K(*)l+l- decays, constraints on the related couplings in family non-universal Z' models are derived. We find that within the allowed parameter space, the recently observed forward-backward asymmetry in the B→K(*)l+l- decay can be explained by flipping the signs of the Wilson coefficients C9eff and C10. With the obtained constraints, we also calculate the branching ratio of the Bs→μ+μ- decay. The upper bound of our prediction is nearly an order of magnitude smaller than the upper bound given by the CDF Collaboration recently.  相似文献

Recently, the LHCb experiment announced 3.5σ evidence for direct CP violation in D0 decay by looking at the difference between ACP(D0→K+K-) and ACP(D0→π+π-). This is the rst evidence of CP violation in a charm system, which may indicate new physics beyond the Standard Model. Motivated by this measurement, we review rare processes in charmonium decay, especially, the weak decay, C or P violated decay, and lepton avor violated decays. In case the new physics appears in charm sector, these rare decays of charmonium states will provide an opportunity to search for signi cant contributions from physics beyond the Standard Model. With huge J/ψ and ψ(2S) samples in BES0 experiment, the rare decays may be feasible.  相似文献

We have measured the cross section for π+π production in two-photon collisions using a data sample with an integrated luminosity of 85.9fb-1 collected with the Belle detector. The f0(980) resonance is observed as a peak in the energy spectrum of the cross section. We also report preliminary results for γγ→π0π0 with two-photon center-of-mass energies ranging from 0.6 to 4.0GeV, based on a 95fb-1 data sample. We find at least four resonant structures including a peak from f0(980). In addition, there is evidence for χc0 production. We also make a preliminary discussion of the angular dependence and cross section ratio of γγ→π+π and γγ→π0π0.  相似文献

The decays of J/φ→μ+μ- and J/φ→ e+e- are studied by Monte-Carlo simulation, based on the Beijing Spectrometer (BES)Ⅲ offline software system. The methods of determination of the J/φ event number via J/φ→μ+μ- and J/φ→ e+e- are presented, respectively. With a 15M J/ψ inclusive Monte Carlo sample, the absolute branching fraction of J/ψ→γ\η' from the J/ψ inclusive photon spectrum is measured to be Br(J/ψ→γ\η')=(4.68±0.08±0.27)×10-3, which is in good agreement with the input value. The J/ψ→γfJ(2220) is also searched for using the same sample. Under our assumptions, the statistical significances of J/ψ→γfJ(2220) are larger than 7\σ.  相似文献

The Babar Collaboration announced two new excited charmed baryons Ξc(3055)+ and Ξc(3123)+. We study their strong decays assuming they are D-wave states. Some assignments are excluded by comparing our numerical results with the experimental values of the total widths of Ξc(3055)+ and Ξc(3123)+.
