直接调制半导体激光器的脉冲驱动电路研究   总被引:1,自引:1,他引:0  
研制了一种应用于直接调制半导体激光器的脉冲驱动电路.根据直接数字频率合成原理,利用现场可编程逻辑阵列产生频率可调方波去触发雪崩晶体管,以及雪崩晶体管的雪崩效应产生频率可调脉宽固定在3 ns的主体脉冲.该脉冲经过衰减器衰减得到合时的脉冲幅度.输出脉冲最高频率可到100 kHz,其输出电压幅度为9 V.  相似文献

 提出了一种用于高温超导系统的新型星载光控高温超导微波可变衰减器,详细介绍了设计过程,并针对测试结果进行了分析。该衰减器的实质是利用液氮温区高温超导薄膜极低的微波表面电阻和卓越的激光响应特性,实现优良的衰减功能。在器件结构的设计上引入过渡材料和透明有机材料以保证器件良好的接地性能以及激光光束的对准。主要结论如下:光控高温超导微波可变衰减器在液氮温区工作,电路尺寸为12 mm×8 mm×0.5 mm,可单独使用也可集成于高温超导系统中,可大幅减小系统的体积与质量;高温超导衰减器的插损小于0.2 dB,比常规衰减器低1个量级;高温超导衰减器的可变衰减步进值小于0.01 dB,比常规衰减器低1~2个量级。根据激光功率大小对衰减器插损变化特性的影响,该衰减器也可以实现步进式调谐。  相似文献

利用具有相反热光特性的氮氧化硅与聚合物材料,采用混合集成波导结构设计了一种低功耗S型可变光衰减器.该衰减器以聚合物为芯层材料,氮氧化硅为包层材料,在弯曲波导上方制作加热电极从而通过热光效应来实现可调谐的衰减功能.理论分析表明,对于1.55μm的工作波长,衰减器实现50dB的衰减仅需要3.6mW的功率.实验结果可实现0~40dB的衰减范围,相应的最大温度变化为70.4℃,器件插入损耗为5.4dB.  相似文献

基于TEM10模拉盖尔-高斯光束,推导自由空间量子密钥分配中单光子捕获概率表达式.针对低轨卫星-地面站间激光链路进行单光子捕获分析.结果表明:采用可高度衰减激光脉冲的TEM10模拉盖尔-高斯光束作为单光子源,单光子捕获采用前驱波参考脉冲设置时间窗口的方法,可使卫星上接收机以最大概率捕获光子.与基模高斯光束相比,采用TEM10模拉盖尔-高斯光束的优点是,不会由于卫星运动而增加单光子捕获概率的损耗.  相似文献

设计了一种二维液晶调制光子晶体微腔光衰减器。两条二维三角晶格空气孔光子晶体波导由一个光子晶体微腔连接,在微腔的点缺陷中填充苯乙炔类液晶。通过施加不同电压,电场诱导液晶取向以改变液晶的折射率,从而改变光子晶体微腔的谐振波长,进而实现光传播强度调节。运用时域有限差分方法和平面波展开法分析了二维液晶调制光子晶体微腔光衰减器的光学特性。数值计算结果表明:对于1.55μm通信波段,通过外界电场控制所填充的向列相液晶的方向可以对这种二维液晶调制光子晶体微腔光衰减器实现3.40%~99.58%的可调谐光输出。  相似文献

针对硅单光子雪崩探测器探测效率高准确度测量的需要,建立了一套溯源至标准探测器的硅单光子探测器探测效率测量装置。首先通过大动态范围高精度衰减产生光子数已知的准单光子源来校准探测器的探测效率,其次对影响探测效率测量的后脉冲概率和死时间进行了分析与测量,最后系统分析了各测量不确定度的来源,实现了硅单光子雪崩探测器在632.8nm波长处探测效率测量不确定度达到0.6%(k=2)。该装置采用超连续谱光源与单色仪组合输出单色光源,结合标准探测器,可根据需要实现硅单光子雪崩探测器宽波段内的探测效率自动化测量。  相似文献

基于分光棱镜的光学耦合系统,设计了激光引信仿真系统.该系统通过将准直整形后的发射机窗口输出的激光束耦合进入校准夹具的光学系统中,通过光开关和程序控制的电控可变衰减器实时地模拟光束经过目标反射引起的光强衰减,最后将衰减后的光信号馈入激光引信的接收机窗口.该设计能够较为准确地模拟激光引信在交会过程中的回波光功率大小,并可实时地仿真激光引信各通道的回波信号,从而可以在实验室内验证激光引信信号处理系统的可靠性.  相似文献

设计了一种调节精度可配置的可变光衰减器结构,通过流体恒压泵驱动薄膜弹起,将流体压力/压强调节转化为光纤微位移控制,实现对接光纤横向位错及光学衰减。使用多物理场耦合与三维时域有限差分的方法对结构模型进行分析,并利用精细加工技术实现了器件的制作。通过对薄膜厚度的选配,实现了光强耦合效率的精度可调配置。理论分析和实验结果表明,选用合适的膜厚得到本衰减器的插入损耗为1.24 dB,可变衰减范围大于60 dB,波长相关损耗小于1 dB。当设定可变光衰减器的光衰减动态范围分别为10 dB和40 dB时,配置0.5 mm薄膜厚度的调节精度分别优于0.04 dB和0.11 dB;当膜的厚度增加时,调节精度会更高。  相似文献

对掺饵光激光器的自脉冲行为进行了研究。采用半导体激光器连续光泵浦,在较低的泵浦功率下,在掺饵光纤激光器中得到了稳定的1倍周期和2倍周期自脉冲输出,观察到周期性的不等幅脉冲序列输出,在理论上动用光子寿命可变的正交偏振激光场耦合模型对实验进行了分析。结果表明,掺饵光纤激光器中两正交偏振模光子寿命的调节对获得稳定的自脉冲有着十分重要的作用。  相似文献

原子系综中的Duan-Lukin-Cirac-Zoller(DLCZ)过程是产生光与原子(量子界面)量子关联和纠缠的重要手段.当一束写光与原子发生作用时,将会产生斯托克斯(Stokes)光子的自发拉曼散射,并同时产生一个自旋波(spin-wave)存储在原子系综中,上述过程即为DLCZ量子记忆产生过程.这一过程被广泛地研究.本文将87Rb原子系综放入驻波腔,并使Stokes光子与光学腔共振,我们观察到有腔且锁定的情况下Stokes光子产生概率比无腔时增大了8.7倍.在此条件下研究了Stokes光子产生概率和写光功率的关系,Stokes光子产生概率随写光功率线性增大.  相似文献

Starting from a model of an indirect optical semiconductor with two bands, the electron states are calculated in the presence of an additional periodic one-dimensional potential (superlattice) in the semiconductor material. These states are used to determine the transition probability connected with the absorption of a photon. This transition corresponds to an optical direct transition — no phonon takes part in this process. The optical direct and optical indirect transitions are compared. For optical frequencies near the band gap one expects only direct transitions, whereby the optical indirect transitions may be neglected.  相似文献

We have reconstructed the quantum state of optical pulses containing single photons using the method of phase-randomized pulsed optical homodyne tomography. The single-photon Fock state 1> was prepared using conditional measurements on photon pairs born in the process of parametric down-conversion. A probability distribution of the phase-averaged electric field amplitudes with a strongly non-Gaussian shape is obtained with the total detection efficiency of (55+/-1)%. The angle-averaged Wigner function reconstructed from this distribution shows a strong dip reaching classically impossible negative values around the origin of the phase space.  相似文献

We have demonstrated efficient production of triggered single photons by coupling a single semiconductor quantum dot to a three-dimensionally confined optical mode in a micropost microcavity. The efficiency of emitting single photons into a single-mode traveling wave is approximately 38%, which is nearly 2 orders of magnitude higher than for a quantum dot in bulk semiconductor material. At the same time, the probability of having more than one photon in a given pulse is reduced by a factor of 7 as compared to light with Poissonian photon statistics.  相似文献

The total probability of production of an electron-positron pair by a polarized photon in a constant uniform electromagnetic field of an arbitrary configuration is determined using the imaginary part of the diagonalized polarization operator. Approximate expressions are derived for this probability in four ranges of photon energy. In the high-energy range, the corrections to the standard semiclassical approximation are calculated. In the range of intermediate energies, in which this approximation is inapplicable, the probability of the process is calculated using the steepest descent method. It is shown that in the range of photon energies higher than the pair production threshold in a magnetic field, a weak electric field removes root divergences in the probability of production of the particles at the Landau levels. For relatively low photon energies, a low-energy approximation is developed. At such energies, the effect of the electric field on the process is decisive, while the effect of the magnetic field is associated with its interaction with the magnetic moment of the particles being produced. Such an interaction is manifested, in particular, in the difference in the probabilities of production of a pair by an external field for scalar and spinor particles.  相似文献

通过分析多像素光子计数器(MPPC)的工作原理和其光学串话(OC)效应的特点,提出在使用MPPC输出雪崩信号的幅度或电荷量作为光子计数的参量时,利用MPPC的OC效应能提高MPPC的光子探测效率的观点,并从理论上分析了OC效应对光子探测效率的影响。理论分析结果显示,在这两种光子计数模式下,利用OC效应能明显提高MPPC的光子探测效率。利用本文模型计算得出当MPPC的雪崩单元数M为1 600个,忽略OC效应时的光子探测效率等于30%,光学串话概率等于50%,以及单脉冲入射光子数均值为10时,包含OC效应影响的等效光子探测效率可提高50%,达45%左右。该结果对MPPC在天体物理、粒子物理、荧光光谱探测等弱光探测场合的应用有一定指导意义。  相似文献

The process of pair creation by a photon in a constant and homogeneous electric field is investigated basing on the polarization operator in the field. The total probability of the process is found in a relatively simple form. At high energy the quasiclassical approximation is valid. The corrections to the standard quasiclassical approximation (SQA) are calculated. In the region of relatively low photon energies, where SQA is unapplicable, the new approximation is used. It is shown that in this energy interval the probability of pair creation by a photon in electric field exceeds essentially the corresponding probability in a magnetic field. This approach is valid at the photon energy much larger than the “vacuum” energy in electric field: ω?eE/m. For smaller photon energies the low energy approximation is developed. At ω?eE/m the found probability describes the absorption of soft photon by the particles created by an electric field.  相似文献

We report on a guided-wave asynchronous heralded single-photon source based on the creation of nondegenerate photon pairs by spontaneous parametric downconversion in a periodically poled lithium niobate wave-guide. We show that, by use of the signal photon at 1310 nm as a trigger, a gated detection process permits announcement of the arrival of single photons at 1550 nm at the output of a single-mode optical fiber with a high probability of 0.37. At the same time the multiphoton emission probability is reduced by a factor of 10 compared with Poissonian light sources. Furthermore, the model we have developed to calculate those figures of merit is shown to be accurate. This study can therefore serve as a paradigm for the conception of new quantum communication and computation networks.  相似文献

The long-range interaction between Rydberg-excited atoms endows a medium with large optical nonlinearity. Here, we demonstrate an optical switch to operate on a single photon from an entangled photon pair under a Rydberg electromagnetically induced transparency configuration. With the presence of the Rydberg blockade effect, we switch on a gate field to make the atomic medium nontransparent thereby absorbing the single photon emitted from another atomic ensemble via the spontaneous fourwave mixing process. In contrast to the case without a gate field, more than 50% of the photons sent to the switch are blocked,and finally achieve an effective single-photon switch. There are on average 1-2 gate photons per effective blockade sphere in one gate pulse. This switching effect on a single entangled photon depends on the principal quantum number and the photon number of the gate field. Our experimental progress is significant in the quantum information process especially in controlling the interaction between Rydberg atoms and entangled photon pairs.  相似文献
