In this paper, we introduce new versions of ?-dual problems of a vector quasi-equilibrium problem with set-valued maps, and we give an ?-duality result between approximate solutions of the primal and dual problems. As the first application of the main result, we obtain an ?-duality for a vector quasi-equilibrium problem whose ?-solutions are understood in the sense of proper efficiency. The second application is devoted to an?-duality for a vector optimization problem with set-valued maps.  相似文献

The duality principle for Gabor frames states that a Gabor sequence obtained by a time-frequency lattice is a frame for L2(Rd) if and only if the associated adjoint Gabor sequence is a Riesz sequence. We prove that this duality principle extends to any dual pairs of projective unitary representations of countable groups. We examine the existence problem of dual pairs and establish some connection with classification problems for II1 factors. While in general such a pair may not exist for some groups, we show that such a dual pair always exists for every subrepresentation of the left regular unitary representation when G is an abelian infinite countable group or an amenable ICC group. For free groups with finitely many generators, the existence problem of such a dual pair is equivalent to the well-known problem about the classification of free group von Neumann algebras.  相似文献

In this paper we employ generalized convexity of complex functions to establish several sufficient optimality conditions for minimax programming in complex spaces. We construct an example of a Banach space which is not lush, but whose dual space is lush. This example shows that lushness is not equivalent to numerical index one. A characterization of lushness for some quotient spaces of L1(μ) spaces and new results on C-rich subspaces of (scalar- or vector-valued) C(K) spaces are also presented.  相似文献

In this paper, a new construction of vertex algebras from more general vertex operators is given and a notion of quasimodule for vertex algebras is introduced and studied. More specifically, a notion of quasilocal subset(space) of for any vector space W is introduced and studied, generalizing the notion of usual locality in the most possible way, and it is proved that on any maximal quasilocal subspace there exists a natural vertex algebra structure and that any quasilocal subset of generates a vertex algebra. Furthermore, it is proved that W is a quasimodule for each of the vertex algebras generated by quasilocal subsets of . A notion of Γ-vertex algebra is also introduced and studied, where Γ is a subgroup of the multiplicative group C× of nonzero complex numbers. It is proved that any maximal quasilocal subspace of is naturally a Γ-vertex algebra and that any quasilocal subset of generates a Γ-vertex algebra. It is also proved that a Γ-vertex algebra exactly amounts to a vertex algebra equipped with a Γ-module structure which satisfies a certain compatibility condition. Finally, two families of examples are given, involving twisted affine Lie algebras and certain quantum torus Lie algebras.  相似文献

We describe a connection between the combinatorics of generators for certain groups and the combinatorics of Helly's 1913 theorem on convex sets. We use this connection to prove fixed point theorems for actions of these groups on nonpositively curved metric spaces. These results are encoded in a property that we introduce called “property FAr”, which reduces to Serre's property FA when r=1. The method applies to S-arithmetic groups in higher Q-rank, to simplex reflection groups (including some nonarithmetic ones), and to higher rank Chevalley groups over polynomial and other rings (for example SLn(Z[x1,…,xd]), n>2).  相似文献

In this paper a new class of higher order (F,ρ,σ)-type I functions for a multiobjective programming problem is introduced, which subsumes several known studied classes. Higher order Mond-Weir and Schaible type dual programs are formulated for a nondifferentiable multiobjective fractional programming problem where the objective functions and the constraints contain support functions of compact convex sets in Rn. Weak and strong duality results are studied in both the cases assuming the involved functions to be higher order (F,ρ,σ)-type I. Quasicategories are simplicial sets with properties generalising those of the nerve of a category. They model weak (ω,1)-categories. Using a combinatorially defined ordinal subdivision, we examine composition rules for certain special pasting diagrams in quasicategories. Different partial hypergroupoids are associated with binary relations defined on a set H. In this paper we find sufficient and necessary conditions for these hypergroupoids in order to be reduced hypergroups. Given two binary relations ρ and σ on H we investigate when the hypergroups associated with the relations ρσ, ρσ and ρσ are reduced. We also determine when the cartesian product of two hypergroupoids associated with a binary relation is a reduced hypergroup.  相似文献

We prove a Delorme-Guichardet type theorem for discrete quantum groups expressing property (T) of the quantum group in question in terms of its first cohomology groups. As an application, we show that the first L2-Betti number of a discrete property (T) quantum group vanishes.  相似文献

We present a method of lifting linear inequalities for the flag f-vector of polytopes to higher dimensions. Known inequalities that can be lifted using this technique are the non-negativity of the toric g-vector and that the simplex minimizes the cd-index. We obtain new inequalities for six-dimensional polytopes. In the last section we present the currently best known inequalities for dimensions 5 through 8.  相似文献

We study the so-called weakly Koszul modules and characterise their Koszul duals. We show that the (adjusted) associated graded module of a weakly Koszul module exactly determines the homology modules of the Koszul dual. Given an edge- or vertex-weighted graph or digraph and a list of source-sink pairs, the minimum multicut problem consists in selecting a minimum weight set of edges or vertices whose removal leaves no path from each source to the corresponding sink. This is a classical NP-hard problem, and we show that the edge version becomes tractable in bounded tree-width graphs if the number of source-sink pairs is fixed, but remains NP-hard in directed acyclic graphs and APX-hard in bounded tree-width and bounded degree unweighted digraphs. The vertex version, although tractable in trees, is proved to be NP-hard in unweighted cacti of bounded degree and bounded path-width.  相似文献

We investigate a limiting uniqueness criterion to the Navier-Stokes equations. We prove that the mild solution is unique under the class , where bmo-1 is the “critical” space including Ln.
