A white light speckle technique is combined with high speed photography to study the dynamic fracture of a sample of PMMA. A series of single exposure speckle patterns are photographically recorded at the rate of 2 × 105 frames s-1 during fracture of the sample. The displacement field around the tip of the propagating crack may then be determined by superimposing pairs of individual frames to form a ‘double-exposure’ speckle pattern. It is shown that the method gives values for the stress intensity factor K which are consistent with those obtained from other techniques.  相似文献

White beam neutron diffraction by time-of-flight (TOF) technique has been studied over a number of years as it is believed to be the most convenient method to investigate solids in a fixed geometry. This technique needs a pulsed neutron source and a suitable multichannel, analysing system. The entire system is in general, mechanically quite intricate and expensive. We have investigated an alternative technique to achieve the end result of a constant geometry around the diffracting sample. This involves the use of a single crystal as an analyser to study diffraction pattern from the sample bathed in a white beam and diffracting at any fixed scattering angle. In this paper we report the results of our investigations and have compared this technique with other diffraction techniques. Taking Si, KCl and KNO3 as typical specimens we have illus. trated the results of our technique and we find that the results are comparable to those obtained by conventional neutron diffraction and TOF diffraction. The technique is simple in mechanical design and data acquisition. It can be easily adapted for high pressure diffraction which is being attempted.  相似文献

本文介绍了冰洲石晶体的性能检测试验,冰洲石偏振光棱镜的制造工艺,冰洲石偏振光棱镜消光比的检测以及冰洲石偏振光棱镜的部分性能检测试验。延边冰洲石晶体是属于光学质量很高的无色透明晶体,其化学成分纯净,双折射和偏振现象明显,光谱透过的范围为0.214~2.5μm,寻常光线的折射率为1.6589,非常光线的折射率为1.4869。用它制成有偏光棱镜,其性能良好。格兰·泰勒棱镜在电源电压950V,注入能量45J,40次/s的强功率激光作用下能连续工作20min,无自振现象,插入损耗小,透射率高。渥拉斯顿棱镜在PLDV型偏振差动式激光流速仪和LDV/LZF型二维多用激光流速仪上使用,其效果良好,波长为632.8nm时,其波振面畸变为λ/6-λ/8。格兰偏振棱镜的散射和吸收小于1%,消光比可达10 ̄(-5),可作为光学精密测量和高灵敏度探测等仪器中较理想的光学元件。  相似文献

For the density operator(mixed state) describing squeezed chaotic light(SCL) we search for its thermal vacuum state(a pure state) in the real-fictitious space. Using the method of integration within ordered product(IWOP) of operators we find that it is a kind of one- and two-mode combinatorial squeezed state. Its application in evaluating the quantum fluctuation of photon number reveals: the stronger the squeezing is, the larger a fluctuation appears. The second-order degree of coherence of SCL is also deduced which shows that SCL is classic. The new thermal vacuum state also helps to derive the Wigner function of SCL.  相似文献

Monte Carlo approaches to compute multiple scattering of polarized light are examined. A Backward Monte Carlo (BMC) method is developed to solve the Stokes vector of the multiple scattered light for an inhomogeneous scattering medium with boundaries. A generalized form of the BMC method in vector notation is proposed. This method can determine the scattered light with sufficient accuracy in both intensity and polarization compared to the same calculation using the doubling-adding method for a plane parallel medium.For application to a narrow incident beam and an inhomogeneous medium, a modified BMC method is developed, borrowing a concept from the Forward Monte Carlo (FMC) method for the first scattering events. Furthermore, a modification of the total scattering matrix, i.e., the combination of the derived scattering matrix with its time inverse, is discussed. This BMC method can be used successfully for model calculations of lidar and other laser measurements of polarized light.  相似文献

本文利用交叉偏振波产生技术(XPW)对800 nm波段钛宝石飞秒激光器输出的激光脉冲进行时域净化, 提高脉冲时域对比度, 并测量验证了1011对比度的脉冲, 达到测量仪器的动态范围极限, 比初始脉冲时域对比度有三个量级的提高, XPW的效率为22%. 同时发现净化后脉冲光谱宽度也得到一定展宽, 进一步利用啁啾镜对和补偿片对净化后的脉冲进行色散补偿, 得到25 fs脉宽的脉冲. 利用该净化后的激光脉冲作为种子注入已有的太瓦级钛宝石啁啾脉冲放大系统中, 在输出脉冲能量250 mJ, 宽度50 fs, 对应峰值功率5 TW的情况下, 在主脉冲前100 ps以外的范围内测量验证了1011的脉冲对比度.  相似文献

The contrast of interference pattern formed by two circularly polarized waves and by a linearly polarized wave and a circularly polarized one is discussed. The results are compared with that by two linear beams. It shows that the use of circular light in holographic fabrication of three-dimensional periodic microstructures may remove the necessity of beam ratio and polarization optimization needed in the interference of three linear noncoplanar beams and improve the uniform contrast of resultant pattern simultaneously.  相似文献

The aim of this paper is to present the white light speckle method as a practical tool in metrology and to search for the optimum conditions for its application. In particular, the study provides evidence that the white light speckle technique is not exclusively sensitive to the in-plane components of displacement. Consequently, the interpretation of the Young's fringes as pure in-plane fringes is prone to inaccurate measurements. The errors so introduced are systematically analysed for various optical parameters. Some practical considerations are then pointed out to aid in the design of an error-tolerance limited white light displacement measurement system to suit a particular need. two complementary techniques are next proposed which promise to eliminate the influence of the out-of-plane movements on the measurement of the lateral components of displacement. The proposed methods not only allow an increase in the accuracy of in-plane measurements, but also permit mapping of the out-of-plane movements undergone by the object surface. The techniques presented, apply equally to coherent speckle photography where the same problems are manifest, and should pave the way for the application of these methods to concrete engineering problems.  相似文献

The noise suppression techniques with wavelet transform (WT) are widely used in non-destructive testing and evaluation (NDT&E), especially in ultrasonics. Complete reconstruction theory with hard or soft thresholds, reconstruction technique based on the singularities of noise and signal, matched filter with an impulse response, and optimal frequency-to-bandwidth ratio of wavelet technique have all been used to analyze ultrasonic signals for noise suppression. But a more simple and effective technique has been pursued for decades. This paper develops a new technique using WT for the right purpose. In this work, WT is treated as a band-pass filter whose central frequency and frequency bandwidth (CF&FB) are determined by the spectra distribution of an ultrasonic signal captured from real testing situation. For the purpose of matching their CF&FB well, a technique for evaluating the optimal scale of a daughter wavelet is carried out too. By acting this daughter wavelet as a band-pass filter, we can obtain excellent de-noising results, even when the signal to noise ratio (SNR) is below -18 dB. The performance of the technique has been done by ultrasonic signals with computer generated white noises. Finally, the experimental verification is performed on a pipeline specimen with man-made small flaws with good results obtained. The results show that the technique is more suitable for processing heavy noised ultrasonic signals, and it can also be used in automatic flaw detection.  相似文献

Suppression of distortion induced by nonlinearity in a dynamical system (such as an analog optical link) is very challenging, particularly for a wide-bandwidth signal. Conventional compensation techniques are computationally intensive, significantly limiting their realization in real-time applications. Here, we propose and demonstrate an efficient digital postprocessing technique to suppress distortions added to a wideband signal by a nonlinear system with memory effect. Experimentally, digital broadband linearization of the photonic time-stretch analog-to-digital converter (TSADC) is demonstrated. In case of TSADC, a dynamic range improvement of >15 dB compared to conventional memory-less correction method is achieved.  相似文献

高速铁路的快速发展,给我国经济和社会发展带来了巨大的推动作用,同时对铁路系统的安全性提出了更高的要求。针对声发射技术在铁路系统安全检测中的研究和应用,介绍了声发射技术及其在检测应用中的优点,综述了目前国内外声发射技术在铁路系统检测研究中的情况,包括钢轨伤损检测、车轮伤损检测、轮轴轴承伤损检测、铁路结构安全监测以及车体材料安全监测等,特别针对钢轨裂纹伤损引起的钢轨断裂这一铁路安全中的主要事故,着重分析了声发射技术在钢轨裂纹伤损检测研究中的情况,并介绍了在高速铁路方面的应用探索。最后在上述分析总结的基础上,指出了声发射技术在铁路系统特别是高速铁路检测研究中的前景及研究难点。  相似文献

A new method for solving the reaction matrix equation is described. In this method the Pauli operator is treated exactly and the reaction matrix is found straightforwardly from systems of differential and algebraic equations. The three-body cluster contribution is discussed. The low truncation used in computation of it in other papers is shown to be unsatisfactory. A dependence of computed binding energy on the formally introduced parameter λ, corresponding to the shift of the single-particle spectrum of unoccupied states, is studied. In principle, the exact results should not depend on λ and therefore in an approximate calculation one must achieve a weak dependence on this parameter. It is shown that in this case the consideration of the third order in the Goldstone series is necessary. Various conditions are suggested for choosing the parameter λ. As an example of light nuclei, the 4He nucleus is chosen. Its binding energy is found to be about 20 MeV, both for the Reid potential and the RHEL potential.  相似文献

We have prepared various porous silicon (PS) structures with different surface conditions (any combination of oxidation, carbonization as well as thermal annealing) to increase the intensity of photoluminescence (PL) spectrum in the visible range. Strong white light (similar to day-light) emission was achieved by carrying out thermal annealing at 1100 °C after surface modification with 1-decene of anodic oxidized PS structures. Temperature-dependent PL measurements were first performed by gradually increasing the sample temperature from 10 to 300 K inside a cryostat. Then, we analyzed the measured spectrum of all prepared samples. After the analysis, we note that throughout entire measured spectrum, only two main peaks corresponding to blue and green-orange emission lines (which can be interpreted by quantum size effect and/or configuration coordinate model) were seem to be predominant for all temperature range. To further reveal and analysis these peaks, finally, measured data were inputted into the formula of activation energy of thermal excitation. We found that activation energies of blue and green-orange lines were approximately 49.3 and 44.6 meV, respectively.  相似文献

In this paper,we introduce the complex modulus to express the viscoelasticity of a medium.According to the correspondence principle,the Biot-Squirt(BISQ)equations in the steady-state case are presented for the space-frequency domain described by solid displacements and fluid pressure in a homogeneous viscoelastic medium.The effective bulk modulus of a multiphase flow is computed by the Voigt formula,and the characteristic squirt-flow length is revised for the gas-included case.We then build a viscoelastic BISQ model containing a multiphase flow.Through using this model,wave dispersion and attenuation are studied in a medium with low porosity and low permeability.Furthermore,this model is applied to observed interwell seismic data.Analysis of these data reveals that the viscoelastic parameter tanδ is not a constant.Thus,we present a linear frequency-dependent function in the interwell seismic frequency range to express tanδ.This improves the fit between the observed data and theoretical results.  相似文献

A new technique for analysis of the extended X-ray absorption fine structure is developed. It is proposed to separate out the oscillating part of the spectra on the basis of the variational principle. By analyzing the dependence of spectrum processing results on the Fourier transform window, the boundaries of the Fourier window are found within which the Fourier analysis of spectra yields the most correct results. Using the developed technique, the spectra of human ceruloplasmin near the K edge of Cu and Li4Ti5O12 compound near the K edge of Ti were analyzed. The environment of Cu atoms in a ceruloplasmin molecule is hypothesized. The composition of the Li4Ti5O12 sample is estimated.  相似文献

A new kind of four-mode continuous variable coherent-entangled state is proposed in the Fock space by using the technique of integration within an ordered product, which exhibits both the properties of a coherent state and an entangled state, and spans a complete and orthonormal representation. The conjugate state of the four-mode continuous variable coherent-entangled state is derived by using the Fourier transformation. Moreover, a simple experimental protocol of generating a four-mode continuous variable coherent-entangled state is proposed by using beam splitters. As applications of this four-mode continuous variable coherent-entangled state, a four-mode entangled state and a four-mode squeezing-Fresnel operator are constructed.  相似文献
