X-ray absorption spectroscopy is used to probe the electronic and structural features of the actinides. To better understand the effect of the effective charge and polyhedron on the edge structure, we discuss the LIII and MV edges in AnO2(NO3)2(TBP)2 (where the actinide is shortly linked to the ‘yl’ oxygens) and in the perovskite Ba2ZnAnO6 (where the hexavalent actinide is in the cubic structure as An6+), An=U, Np, Pu. A novel anion derived from the Anderson structure has been obtained in aqueous acid solution by condensation of three pairs of edge-sharing molybdenum octahedra around a central arsenite. This association forms a hexanuclear ring of Mo(V) with three external sulphate groups bridging the binuclear molybdenum units. This compound crystallizes in the presence of alkaline ions and its orthorhombic structure was solved by single crystal X-ray diffraction [Cmca, a=24.3189(3) Å, b=12.4454(1) Å, c=26.9211(3) Å, V=8 147,9 Å3] from 4 277 unique reflections [I≥2 σ(I)], R1=0.0471 and wR2=0.1429. The solid is a three-dimensional network built up from cluster anions strongly connected to alkaline ions via ionic links. The ligand (i-Pr)2PCH2(oxazoline) (1a), of the P,N-donor type, was reacted with [PdMeCl(COD)] to yield the square planar methylpalladium(II) complex [PdClMe(P,N)] (P,N = 1a) (2a), from which the complex [PdMe(P,N)OTf] (OTf = OSO2CF3) (3a) was obtained by AgOTf-promoted chloride abstraction. The alkyl complexes
(P,N = 1a) (5a, R = H; 7a, R = C(O)OMe) have been isolated from the initial CO/ethylene or CO/methyl acrylate insertion steps into the Pd–Me bond of 3a, respectively, and spectroscopically characterized. Complexes 2a, 3a and 7a have been fully characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction. Complex 7a is still a rare example of a structurally characterized CO/methyl acrylate stepwise insertion product. These complexes are relevant to the alternating copolymerization of olefins and carbon monoxide catalyzed by palladium complexes. In addition, the centrosymmetric dinuclear complex trans-[Pd(μ-Cl){(i-Pr)2PCH2(oxazoline)}]2(OTf)2 (6) has been obtained and characterized by X-ray diffraction; it appears to be the first dinuclear complex of the type [Pd(μ-Cl)(P,N)]2 to be characterized by X-ray crystallography.

Le ligand (i-Pr)2PCH2(oxazoline) (1a), de type donneur P,N, réagit avec [PdClMe(COD)] pour former le complexe plan carré méthylpalladium(II) [PdClMe(P,N)] (P,N = 1a) (2a), à partir duquel le complexe [PdMe(P,N)OTf] (OTf = OSO2CF3) (3a) a été obtenu par abstraction de chlorure à l'aide de AgOTf. Les complexes alkyles
(P,N = 1a) (5a, R = H; 7a, R = C(O)OMe), ont été isolés lors des premières étapes d'insertion de CO/éthylène ou de CO/acrylate de méthyle, respectivement, dans la liaison Pd–Me de 3a, et caractérisés par méthodes spectroscopiques. Les complexes 2a, 3a et 7a ont été complètement caractérisés par diffraction des rayons X sur monocristal. Le complexe 7a est un exemple encore rare de produit d'insertion par étapes de CO/acrylate de méthyle qui ait été caractérisé structuralement. Ces complexes sont pertinents pour la copolymérisation alternée d'oléfines et de monoxyde de carbone catalysée par les complexes du palladium. En outre, le complexe dinucléaire centrosymétrique trans-[Pd(μ-Cl){(i-Pr)2PCH2(oxazoline)}]2(OTf)2 (6) a été obtenu et caractérisé par diffraction des rayons X; il s'agit du premier complexe dinucléaire de type [Pd(μ-Cl)(P,N)]2 à être caractérisé par diffraction des rayons X.  相似文献

The first silver palladium oxide, Ag2PdO2, was synthesised from a co-precipitated oxide precursor by annealing at 423–823 K, applying an oxygen pressure of 73 MPa. The crystal structure has been determined from X-ray and neutron powder diffraction data. The new compound crystallises in space group Immm. The lattice constants as determined from X-ray powder diffraction are a=4.55523(5) Å, b=3.00803(3) Å and c=9.8977(1) Å. The crystal structure constitutes a new structure type showing some features in common with the Li2CuO2-type. Palladium is found in a nearly square planar arrangement while silver has an almost linear co-ordination. The overall structure can be considered as a rocksalt defect structure. Ag2PdO2 is diamagnetic and semiconducting. The band gap, estimated from conductivity measurements in the temperature range of 240–300 K, is 0.18(2) eV.  相似文献

The structure of the complex of dimethylphenyl betaine (DMPB) with dichloroacetic acid (DCA) (1) has been investigated by X-ray diffraction, FTIR and Raman spectroscopy, and B3LYP/6-311 + + G(d,p) calculations. The crystal is monoclinic, space group P21. The acid is connected with betaine through the OH⋯O hydrogen bond of 2.480(2) Å. In the optimized structure the short, asymmetric O⋯O distance is 2.491 Å. FTIR spectrum shows a broad absorption in the 1500–400 cm−1 region characteristic of very short OH⋯O hydrogen bond caused by Fermi resonance between νOH and overtones of δOH and γOH. In the Raman spectrum this broad absorption is not observed. The potential energy distributions (PED) were used for the assignments of IR and Raman frequencies in the experimental and calculated spectra. The FTIR and Raman spectra of the crystal complex are consistent with the X-ray results.  相似文献

3-(2,3-Dimethoxyphenyl)-1-(pyridin-2-yl)prop-2-en-1-one (DMPP) a potential second harmonic generating (SHG) has been synthesized and grown as a single crystal by the slow evaporation technique at ambient temperature. The structure determination of the grown crystal was done by single crystal X-ray diffraction study. DMPP crystallizes with orthorhombic system with cell parameters a = 20.3106(8) Å, b = 4.9574(2) Å, c = 13.4863(5) Å, α = 90°, β = 90°, γ = 90° and space group Pca21. The crystals were characterized by FT-IR, thermal analysis, UV–vis–NIR spectroscopy and SHG measurements. Various functional groups present in DMPP were ascertained by FTIR analysis. DMPP is thermally stable up to 80 °C and optically transparent in the visible region. The crystal exhibits SHG efficiency comparable to that of KDP.  相似文献

A novel co-crystal of trans-(R,R)-1,2-cyclohexanediol and (R,R)-tartaric acid (with 1:1 molar ratio, 1) has been found to be a key crystalline compound in the improved resolution of (±)-trans-1,2-cyclohexanediol by supercritical fluid extraction. The molecular and crystal structure of this co-crystal, which crystallizes in orthorhombic crystal system (space group P212121, a = 6.7033(13) Å, b = 7.2643(16), c = 24.863(5), Z = 4), has been solved by single crystal X-ray diffraction (R = 0.064). The packing arrangement consists of two dimensional layers of sandwich-like sheets, where the inner part is constructed by double layers of tartaric acids which hydrophilicity is “covered” on both upper and bottom side by cyclohexanediols with the hydrophobic cyclohexane rings pointing outward. Thus, a rather complex hydrogen bonding pattern is constructed. The relatively high melting point (133 °C) observed by both simultaneous TG/DTA and DSC, and the main features of FTIR-spectrum of 1 are explained by the increased stability of this crystal structure. DSC studies on binary mixtures of co-crystal 1 with (R,R)-1,2-cyclohexanediol or (R,R)-tartaric acid, revealed eutectic temperatures of Teu = 100 or 131 °C, respectively. Between (S,S)-1,2-cyclohexanediol and (R,R)-tartaric acid a eutectic temperature of Teu = 85 °C have also been observed. The phase relations have been confirmed by powder X-ray diffraction, as well.  相似文献

Compound 1-benzyl-5-amino-1H-tetrazole (BAT) was synthesized and characterized by 1H NMR, FT–IR, and UV–Vis spectroscopies and elemental (CHNS) analysis. The crystal structure was further elucidated by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations with B3LYP and PBE1PBE functionals of the BAT were performed to provide structural and spectroscopic information and guide spectral assignments. The compound crystallizes in monoclinic primitive system space group P2(1)/c with a = 14.91 Å, b = 5.12 Å, c = 11.19 Å, V = 852 Å3, Z = 4, R1 = 0.0428 at 298 K. The structure exhibits intermolecular hydrogen bonds of the type N–H(amino)···N(tetrazole). Simultaneous hydrogen bonds between amino···tetrazole and tetrazole···amino establish a dimeric intermolecular structure, whereas another hydrogen bond between the remaining H atom of the amino group and the other N atoms of the tetrazole ring extends the structure into another dimension. The crystal structure of BAT is properly reproduced by DFT calculations only when a dimeric or tetrameric model is employed in the modeling. Comparisons between experimental and calculated spectral properties suggest that the monomeric form of BAT is dominant in aprotic, polar, hydrogen-bonding solvents, such as DMSO and DMF.  相似文献

The structure of [C3N2H5]4[Bi2Br10]·2H2O, (PBB) was determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction at 100 K. It crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2/m, with a = 12.992(4) Å, b = 16.326(5) Å, c = 8.255(3) Å, β = 108.56°(3), V = 1659.9(9) Å3 and Z = 2. The structure consists of discrete binuclear [Bi2Br10]4− anions, ordered pyrazolium cations and water molecules. The crystal packing is governed by strong N–H⋯O and weak O–H⋯Br hydrogen bonds. A sequence of structural phase transitions in PBB was established on the basis of differential scanning calorimetry and dilatometric studies. Two reversible first-order phase transitions were found: (I  II) at 381/371 K (on heating/cooling) and (II  III) at 348/338 K. Dielectric response near both phase transitions is characteristic of crystals with the “plastic-like” phases. Over the phase III a low frequency dielectric relaxator is disclosed. The possible molecular motions in the PBB compound are characterized by the 1H NMR studies. The infrared spectra of polycrystalline compound in the temperature range 300–380 K are reported for the region 4000–400 cm−1. The observed spectral changes through the structural phase transition III  II are attributed to an onset of motion both of the pyrazolium cations and water molecules.  相似文献

Single crystal of γ-glycine, an organic nonlinear optical material, has been grown by solvent evaporation technique from a mixture of aqueous solutions of glycine and potassium nitrate, lithium nitrate at room temperature. Gamma glycine crystals have been grown up to the dimension of 20 mm × 15 mm × 12 mm. Powder X-ray diffraction of the grown crystal was recorded and indexed. Single crystal X-ray diffraction studies were carried out and the unit cell parameters were compared with the literature values. The γ-phase of glycine is confirmed by single crystal XRD and FTIR spectral analysis. The crystals were characterised by UV–vis–NIR transmission spectrum in the range 200–1100 nm. The second harmonic generation conversion efficiency of γ-glycine crystal was twice the efficiency of KDP crystal. Thermal characteristics of γ-glycine crystals were determined by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and differential thermal analysis, which shows the thermal stability of the grown crystals. Dielectric constant and dielectric loss measurements were carried out at different temperatures and frequencies. The microhardness of the grown crystals has been studied using Vicker's microhardness tester.  相似文献

The crystal structure of δ-VOPO4 was determined from powder X-ray diffraction data in the tetragonal space group P42/mbc (No. 135) with a = 9.0547(7) Å and c = 8.6080(8) Å. The structure is found to be closely related to that of ω-VOPO4, thus disproving two traditional structure hypotheses commonly found in the literature. The structural relationship between the two phases is discussed in the light of a recently observed fast phase transition from ω- to δ-VOPO4.  相似文献

(E)-N-(4-Nitrobenzylidene)-2,6-dimethylaniline (1) and (E)-N-(4-nitrobenzylidene)-2,3-dimethylaniline (2) have been synthesized. The crystal structures of both compounds have been defined by X-ray diffraction analysis. The maximum one-photon absorption (OPA) wavelengths recorded by quantum mechanical computations using a configuration interaction (CI) method are estimated in the UV region to be shorter than 450 nm, showing good optical transparency to the visible light. To provide an insight into the microscopic third-order nonlinear optical (NLO) properties of the investigated molecules, both dispersion-free (static) and also frequency-dependent (dynamic) linear polarizabilities (α) and second hyperpolarizabilities (γ) at λ = 825–1125 nm and 1050–1600 nm wavelength areas have been computed using time-dependent Hartree–Fock (TDHF) method. According to the ab initio calculation results, the title molecules exhibit second hyperpolarizabilities with non-zero values, implying microscopic third-order NLO behavior.  相似文献

Various chiral ligands bearing phosphorus or nitrogen donor atoms were obtained in a straightforward manner starting from trans-(2R,3R)-diphenylcyclopropane-1,1-dimethanol as a key structure. These chiral ligands were tested and compared in palladium(0)-catalyzed asymmetric allylic alkylation reactions (up to 71% ee) and rhodium(I)-catalyzed asymmetric hydrogenations (up to 88% ee). Moreover, in the asymmetric allylic alkylation, we observed excellent activity with a diphosphinite ligand (TOF = 600 mol 17 × [mol Pd × h)?1].  相似文献

Deposition of smooth diamond coatings on titanium alloy. A new process has been perfected to deposit smooth diamond coatings, at 600 °C, on titanium alloys. Scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, visible and UV Raman spectroscopy show that these coatings are smooth and mainly composed of crystalline diamond with a fine-grained morphology. The results are compared here to those obtained with classical rough polycrystalline coatings. The thermal behavior of AgNCO (silver isocyanate) has been studied via thermal analysis, optical spectroscopy, X-ray powder diffraction and transmission electron microscopy. Upon quenching the high temperature polymorph (HT-AgNCO) to room temperature, a new modification has been obtained (q-AgNCO). Its crystal structure was solved from X-ray powder diffraction data and refined by the Rietveld method (Pmmn (no. 59), a = 3.579(3) Å, b = 5.777(4) Å, c = 5.807(2) Å, V = 120.08(3) Å3, Z = 2, T = 295 K). The structure consists of chains of Ag+ ions bridged by isocyanate units. HT-AgNCO exists between T = 135 °C and the melting/decomposition point and exhibits virtually free rotation of the complex anions. According to preliminary single-crystal studies, HT-AgNCO (C2/m, a = 5.87 Å, b = 3.51 Å, c = 5.81 Å, ß = 105.953°, Z = 2, T = 373 K) is structurally related to α-NaN3. The crystal structures of both, HT-AgNCO and q-AgNCO have been compared with that of the room temperature modification (RT-AgNCO). The thermal behavior and the ionic conductivity of AgNCO are discussed with respect to the related compounds AgN3 and KSCN. Decomposition of AgNCO proceeds in distinct steps, as seen from TGA, and results in the formation of nanoparticles of elemental silver and an amorphous polymer consisting of C, N and O, only.  相似文献

A series of potassium rare earth oxyborates, K2RE2(BO3)2O (RE = La, Nd, Sm and Eu), have been synthesized. Single crystal of the first member of the series, K2La2(BO3)2O, has been grown by the flux method. Its structure, determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction, shows that it belongs to the monoclinic system, space group P21/c with unit cell parameters of a = 11.422(2) Å, b = 6.6803(13) Å, c = 10.813(2) Å, β = 17.23(3)° and Z = 4. Optical transmission spectrum shows that the K2La2(BO3)2O crystal is highly transparent from 215 nm to 2750 nm.  相似文献

Tetragonal copper ferrite (CuFe2O4) nanofibers were fabricated by electrospinning method using a solution that contained poly(vinyl pyrrolidone) (PVP) and Cu and Fe nitrates as alternative metal sources. The as-spun and calcined CuFe2O4/PVP composite samples were characterized by TG-DTA, X-ray diffraction, FT-IR, and SEM, respectively. After calcination of the as-spun CuFe2O4/PVP composite nanofibers (fiber size of 89 ± 12 nm in diameter) at 500 °C in air for 2 h, CuFe2O4 nanofibers of 66 ± 13 nm in diameter having well-developed tetragonal structure were successfully obtained. The crystal structure and morphology of the nanofibers were influenced by the calcination temperature. After calcination at 600 and 700 °C, the nature of nanofibers changed which was possibly due to the reorganization of the CuFe2O4 structure at high temperature, and a fiber structure of packed particles or crystallites was prominent. Crystallite size of the nanoparticles contained in nanofibers increases from 7.9 to 23.98 nm with increasing calcination temperature between 500 and 700 °C. Room temperature magnetization results showed a ferromagnetic behavior of the calcined CuFe2O4 samples, having their specific saturation magnetization (Ms) values of 17.73, 20.52, and 23.98 emu/g for the samples calcined at 500, 600, and 700 °C, respectively.  相似文献

SrSi2O2N2 is an important host lattice for Eu2+ doped phosphors. Its crystal structure (space group P1, a = 7.0802(2) Å, b = 7.2306(2) Å, c = 7.2554(2) Å, α = 88.767(3)°, β = 84.733(2)°, γ = 75.905(2)° and V = 358.73(2) Å3, Z = 4) is isotypic with EuSi2O2N2: highly condensed silicate layers are separated by Sr2+. The samples are characterized by pronounced real structure effects owing to pseudosymmetry of partial structures. Polysynthetic twinning with domains of various sizes is ubiquitous and oriented intergrowth of domains with different orientations has also been observed and analysed in detail by means of electron diffraction and high-resolution electron microscopy. These effects also affect the X-ray powder pattern and were taken into account in a Rietveld refinement.  相似文献
