A series of tridentate NˆNˆN iron(II) and cobalt(II) complexes containing N-((pyridin-2-yl)methylene)-quinolin-8-amine derivatives were synthesized and characterized by elemental and spectroscopic analyses. The molecular structure of 1a was confirmed by X-ray diffraction analyses. On treatment with modified methylaluminoxane, these metal complexes exhibited good catalytic activities up to 2.8 × 106 g mol−1(Fe) h−1 for ethylene oligomerization, and butenes were the major products with nice selectivity for 1-C4. The steric and electronic effects on catalytic activities of metal complexes were carefully investigated as well as the influence of various reaction parameters. In the catalytic system, Fe(II) complexes performed better catalytic activities than their Co(II) analogues. With ligands having bulky substituents, the better catalytic activity was observed in catalytic system of Fe(II) complex, however, the lower catalytic activity was obtained in catalytic system of Co(II) complexes.  相似文献

This review highlights the methods used for the synthesis of 3-oxo-N-(pyridin-2-yl)butanamide compounds. The reactivity and synthetic importance are investigated. In this context, recent progress in the synthesis and use of 3-oxo-N-(pyridin-2-yl)butanamide as precursors for heterocyclic compounds is reviewed. The synthetic routes for preparation of 3-oxo-N-(pyridin-2-yl)butanamide are based on the reaction of diketene with aromatic primary amine and reaction of 2-aminopyridine with β-keto-t-butylthioester or ethylacetoacetate. The bibliography includes 73 references.  相似文献

Mononuclear Co(II), Zn(II) and Cd(II) complexes derived from bidentate or tridentate N,N′,N-bis((1H-pyrazol-1-yl)methyl)amines (Ln = LA, LB), where LA is N,N-bis((1H-pyrazol-1-yl)methyl)-3-methoxypropan-1-amine and LB is 3-methoxy-N,N-bis((3,5-dimethyl-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)methyl)propan-1-amine, have been synthesized and characterized. The geometry at Co(II) and Cd(II) for [LACoCl2], [LBCoCl2] and [LBCdBr2] with N,N′,N-tridentate ligands (Ln = LA, LB) can be described as a distorted trigonal bipyramid achieved by coordinative interaction of Npyrazole, two halides and the nitrogen of amine moiety. However, the molecular structure of four-coordinate [LAZnCl2] can be best described as tetrahedral, resulting in an eight-membered chelate ring. [LACoCl2] polymerized methyl methacrylate in the presence of modified methylaluminoxane at 60 °C and resulted in poly(methylmethacrylate) (PMMA) with higher molecular weight and narrower polydispersity index compared to the other synthesized complexes. However, all the synthesized complexes yielded syndiospecific PMMA, characterized using 1H NMR spectroscopy, with ca. 0.70.  相似文献

Three new coordination complexes, [Cd2(ppt)2(cpba)]?·?(H2O)2 (1), [Zn(ppt)2]?·?(H2O) (2), and [Zn(MoO4)(Hppt)] (3) (H2cpba: 3-(2′-carboxy-phenoxy)-benzoic acid; Hppt: 3-(pyridin-3′-yl)-5-(pyridin-2′′-yl)-1,2,4-triazole), were synthesized under hydrothermal conditions. Their structures have been determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction analyses and further characterized by elemental analyses, IR spectra, and thermogravimetric analyses. X-ray diffraction analyses revealed that Cd(II) ions are linked by ppt? to form a ladder-shaped structure along the a-axis and further displays a 2-D supramolecular architecture with cpba2? along the c-axis. In 2, each Zn(ppt)2 fragment is linked by the nitrogen of pyridin-3′-yl from the neighboring Zn(ppt)2 forming a V-shaped chain. Compound 3 consists of a ladder structure, in which each {MoO4} unit is a bridge linking three Zn(Hppt)2+ fragments.  相似文献

A novel series of Zn(II) complexes [LnZnCl2] (Ln = LA ? LF) based on N,N′,N-bis((1H-pyrazol-1-yl)methyl)amine bidentate ligands, N,N-bis((1H-pyrazol-1-yl)methyl)-3,5-dimethylaniline [LA], N,N-bis((1H-pyrazol-1-yl)methyl)-2,6-dimethylaniline [LB], N,N-bis((1H-pyrazol-1-yl)methyl)-2,6-diethylaniline [LC], N,N-bis((1H-pyrazol-1-yl)methyl)-2,6-diisopropylaniline [LD], N,N-bis((1H-pyrazol-1-yl)methyl)-4-bromoaniline [LE] and N,N-bis((1H-pyrazol-1-yl)methyl)benzhydrylamine [LF], has been synthesized and characterized. X-ray structures of these Zn(II) complexes showed a distorted tetrahedral geometry. No interaction exists between the Namine and the Zn(II) center in the [LnZnCl2] (Ln = LA ? LF) complexes, resulting in formation of an eight-membered chelate ring. [LFZnCl2] exhibited the highest catalytic activity (3.95 × 104 g PMMA/mol·Zn·h) for the polymerization of methyl methacrylate (MMA) in the presence of modified methylaluminoxane (MMAO) at 60 °C and yielded high molecular weight (Mw) (11.0 × 105 g/mol) of poly(methylmethacrylate) (PMMA). All the complexes resulted in syndiotactic enriched PMMA with high Tg (125–131 °C). The steric bulk of ligand architecture plays an influential role in controlling the catalytic activity and stereoregularity of the resultant PMMA. Further, alkyl derivatives [LnZnMe2] (Ln = LA ? LF) of synthesized Zn(II) complexes, generated in situ, showed moderate to high activities toward ring opening polymerization (ROP) of rac-lactide (rac-LA) and yielded heterotactic polylactide (PLA) with Pr up to 0.95 at ?50 °C. The activity and stereoselectivity toward ROP of rac-LA by these dimethyl Zn(II) complexes should be considered as a combined effect of steric hindrance and electronic density around the metal center.  相似文献

The results of the X-ray structure analysis of three novel 3,6-bis(pyridin-2-yl)-1,2,4,5-tetrazine cocrystals are presented. These are 3,6-bis(pyridin-2-yl)-1,2,4,5-tetrazine–2,4,6-tribromophenol (1/2), C12H8N6·2C6H3Br3O, 3,6-bis(pyridin-2-yl)-1,2,4,5-tetrazine–isonicotinic acid N-oxide (1/2), C12H8N6·2C6H5NO3, and 3,6-bis(pyridin-2-yl)-1,2,4,5-tetrazine–4-nitrobenzenesulfonamide (1/1), C12H8N6·C6H6N2O4S. Special attention is paid to a conformational analysis of the title tetrazine molecule in known crystal structures. Quantum chemistry methods are used to compare the energetic parameters of the investigated conformations. A structural analysis of the hydrogen and halogen bonds with acceptor aromatic tetrazine and pyrazine rings is conducted in order to elucidate factors responsible for conformational stability.  相似文献

Two new complexes, [Co(L)2]Cl·(MeOH)2 (1) and [Ni(L)2]4·EtOH (2) (L?=?(E)-2-(amino((pyridin-2-ylmethylene)amino)methylene)maleonitrile), were synthesized and characterized by X-ray crystallography, IR, UV, and fluorescence spectroscopy. According to X-ray crystallographic studies, each metal was six-coordinate with six nitrogens from two ligands. Both complexes form two-dimensional supramolecular networks via hydrogen bonding and π–π interactions. Ultraviolet and visible spectra showed that absorptions arise from π–π ?, MLCT, and dd electron transitions. Fluorescence spectroscopy revealed moderate intercalative binding of these two complexes with EB–DNA, with apparent binding constant (K app) values of 9.14?×?105 and 3.20?×?105?M?1 for Co(III) and Ni(II) complexes, respectively. UV–visible absorption spectra showed that the absorption of DNA at 260?nm was quenched for 2 but quenched then improved for 1 with addition of complexes, tentatively attributed to the effect of the combined intercalative binding and electrostatic interaction for 1.  相似文献

Abstract

A number of alternatives were made to overcome numerous life-threatening infectious diseases by metal-based anticancer compounds. At present, thiosemicarbazones and their metal complexes have received significant consideration as a result of their metal DNA-interaction, structural diversity and availability of bonding modes. In this study, the coordination characteristics of nine diimine copper(II) complexes with sulfur containing ligands, [Cu(L)2] (13), [Cu(L)(bpy)]Cl (46) and [Cu(L)(phen)]Cl (79) (L?=?H(L1)–H(L3), phen = 1,10-phenanthroline, bpy = 2,2′-bipyridyl, H(L1) = (Z)-2-((4-methoxynaphthalen-1-yl)methylene)-N-methylhydrazinecarbothioamide, H(L2) = (Z)-N-ethyl-2-((4-methoxynaphthalen-1-yl)methylene)hydrazinecarbothioamide and H(L3) = (Z)-2-((4-methoxynaphthalen-1-yl)methylene)-N-phenylhydrazinecarbothioamide] have been synthesized from 4-methoxy-1-naphthaldehyde along with N(4)-substituted thiosemicarbazide derivatives. The synthesized ligands and their Cu(II) complexes were characterized through different spectroscopic techniques and square-planar coordination was proposed. Biological evaluation such as DNA-cleavage, antibacterial and in vitro cytotoxicity of thiosemicarbazone ligands and their resultant Cu(II) complexes were analyzed. Interestingly, Cu(II) complex containing heteroaromatic moiety 9 had potential cytotoxic activity with strong DNA-interaction. In the future, these may be helpful to design more effective novel chemotherapeutic drugs.  相似文献

Six tridentate NNN ligand precursors derived from 2-(pyridin-2-yl)benzo[d]thiazole(PBT) with different linkers, PBTNNXN (X = NH, NMe, O, S) ( 1a – 1f ), have been successfully prepared. The electronic properties of PBTNNXN ligands are well tunable by differing linkers between PBT skeleton and the pyridine ring, and/or by introducing electron-donating/withdrawing groups on the pyridine ring (R = OMe or F). The ligand precursors and representative complexes Ru (PBTNNNHN)Cl2(PPh3) ( 2a ), Ru (PBTNNNMeN)Cl2(PPh3) ( 2b ), and Ru (PBTNNSN)Cl2(PPh3) ( 2f ) have been characterized by NMR spectroscopy, high-resolution mass spectroscopy, and Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR). The molecular structures of 1f , 2a , and 2f have been determined by X-ray diffraction study. The results indicate that PBTNNNHN ligand in the complex presented coplanar with two five-membered chelating rings. It should be noted that 2a featuring a NH group exhibits superior performance compared to those with other linkers (such as NMe, O, or S). A variety of heterocyclic and aromatic nitriles with aromatic and aliphatic alcohols have been explored in α-alkylation for good to excellent yields. Based on kinetic experiments and mechanistic studies, a proposed mechanism was put forward. Ru-H species and benzaldehyde, which was oxidized from benzyl alcohol, were detected in the catalytic cycle.  相似文献

A new copper(II) coordination polymer, [Cu(PIA)·2H2O]n (1) [H2PIA = 5-(pyridin-4-yl)isophthalic acid], has been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, TGA, powder, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Structural analysis shows that each PIA2? in 1 bridges three Cu(II) ions, and likewise each Cu(II) ion connects to three PIA2? ligands, giving a 3-D framework with utp topology and left-/right-handed helical channels. Interestingly, two such identical frameworks interlock with each other to generate a twofold interpenetrated structure that is stabilized by hydrogen bonding and π–π interactions. In addition, the thermal stability and the magnetic properties of 1 have been investigated.  相似文献

Three new metal coordination polymers constructed from adipic acid and 2-(pyridin-3-yl)-(1H)-benzimidazole ligands, [M(ADP)(3PBI)2(H2O)2]·2H2O (M = Ni and Co for 1 and 2, respectively) and [Cd(ADP)(3PBI)(H2O)] (3) [ADP = adipic acid dianion; 3PBI = 2-(pyridin-3-yl)-(1H)-benzimidazole], have been synthesized by hydrothermal reactions and were characterized by X-ray single-crystal diffraction, elemental analyses, IR, powder X-ray diffraction, and thermogravimetry. Complexes 1 and 2 are isostructural. Both form a 1-D linear chain structure, which is further assembled into a 3-D supramolecular framework by π?π stacking and hydrogen bonding interactions. Complex 3 possesses a binuclear unit and displays a 2-D layer which is further extended to a 3-D supramolecular architecture via hydrogen bonding and other weak packing interactions. The luminescent properties of 3 were investigated in the solid state at room temperature.  相似文献

Pt(II) and Pd(II) methyl- and chloro-complexes with the tridentate N-donor ligands ((pyridin-2-yl)methylene)quinolin-8-amine (NNPy), ((pyridin-2-yl)ethylidene)quinolin-8-yl-amine (NNMePy), (phenyl(pyridin-2-yl)methylene)quinolin-8-yl-amine (NNPhPy), ((thiazol-2-yl)methylene)quinolin-8-amine (NNTh) and ((imidazol-4-yl)methylene)quinolin-8-amine (NNImH) were prepared by metal-assisted condensation of 8-aminoquinoline and an ortho-substituted aldehydo- or keto- N-heterocycle. Preliminary reactivity studies involving the coordinated tridentate N-donors, the chloro-ligand and the M-CH3 bond were carried out, leading to the synthesis of several new complexes. During these studies, the formation of a novel five-coordinate Pt(II) carbonyl-complex was observed.  相似文献

The two new nickel(II) complexes, [Ni(HL)(L)](NO3)?H2O (1) and [Ni(L)2] (2) (where HL/L = N′-[(E)-phenyl(pyridin-2-yl)methylidene]benzohydrazide), have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, spectroscopic, magnetic susceptibility, and cyclic voltammetric measurements. Single-crystal X-ray analysis of [Ni(HL)(L)](NO3)?H2O (1) and [Ni(L)2] (2) has revealed the presence of a distorted octahedral geometry around nickel(II). The X-ray and spectral characterizations have confirmed the existence of the keto-enol form of the ligands in the complexes. The electronic structures and spectral properties of the ligands and the complexes have been explained by DFT and TDDFT calculations. Superoxide dismutase activity of these complexes has also been measured.  相似文献

Two complexes formulated as {[Cd(btec)0.5(tmb)H2O]·4H2O}n (1) and {[Cd(H2btec)(tmb)(H2O)]·2H2O}n (2) (H4btec?=?1,2,4,5-benzenetetracarboxylic acid, tmb?=?2-((1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)methyl)-1H-benzimidazole) have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, and single crystal X-ray diffraction. Single crystal X-ray diffraction shows that 1 has a 2-D layer structure in which tmb bridges and all of the carboxylates from 1,2,4,5-benzenetetracarboxylate chelate. In 2 Cd(II) ions are bridged by monodentate carboxylates leading to a 2-D layer structure with all tmb ligands coordinated monodentate to Cd(II), hanging at two sides of the layers. Complexes 1 and 2 are further extended to 3-D supramolecular structures by hydrogen bonding interactions. Luminescent properties have been investigated in the solid state at room temperature.  相似文献

The reaction of silver(I) with 1,2-bis[1-(pyridin-2-yl)ethylidene]hydrazine (bpeh) and N,N-bis(pyridin-2-ylmethyl)amine (bpma) in the presence of Na(sac) (sac = saccharinate) yielded [Ag2(sac)2(bpeh)] (1) and [Ag(sac)(bpma)]n (2) with conformational chirality. Both complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis, IR, thermal analysis and X-ray single crystal diffraction. Complex 1 displays a binuclear composition, in which each silver(I) ion is bound to one monodentate sac ligand and one of the bidentate pyridylimino groups of the bpeh ligand in a distorted trigonal coordination geometry. Complex 2 is a one-dimensional helical polymer, in which silver(I) centers are bridged by tridentate bpma ligands, and each silver(I) ion is coordinated in a distorted tetrahedral geometry by one monodentate sac ligand, a bidentate pyridylamine group of one bpma ligand, and a py group of another bpma ligand. Weak intermolecular C–H?O hydrogen bonds and C–H?π interactions lead to assembly of 1 and 2 into three-dimensional supramolecular frameworks. Spectral and thermal analysis data for 1 and 2 are in agreement with the crystal structures. In addition, both complexes in the solid state display intraligand π–π∗ fluorescence.  相似文献

Three new ruthenium complexes with bidentate chloroquine analogue ligands, [Ru(η(6)-cym)(L(1))Cl]Cl (1, cym = p-cymene, L(1) = N-(2-((pyridin-2-yl)methylamino)ethyl)-7-chloroquinolin-4-amine), [Ru(η(6)-cym)(L(2))Cl]Cl (2, L(2) = N-(2-((1-methyl-1H-imidazol-2-yl)methylamino)ethyl)-7-chloroquinolin-4-amine) and [Ru(η(6)-cym)(L(3))Cl] (3, L(3) = N-(2-((2-hydroxyphenyl)methylimino)ethyl)-7-chloroquinolin-4-amine) have been synthesized and characterized. In addition, the X-ray crystal structure of 2 is reported. The antimalarial activity of complexes 1-3 and ligands L(1), L(2) and L(3), as well as the compound N-(2-(bis((pyridin-2-yl)methyl)amino)ethyl)-7-chloroquinolin-4-amine (L(4)), against chloroquine sensitive and chloroquine resistant Plasmodium falciparum malaria strains was evaluated. While 1 and 2 are less active than the corresponding ligands, 3 exhibits high antimalarial activity. The chloroquine analogue L(2) also shows good activity against both the chloroquine sensitive and the chloroquine resistant strains. Heme aggregation inhibition activity (HAIA) at an aqueous buffer/n-octanol interface (HAIR(50)) and lipophilicity (D, as measured by water/n-octanol distribution coefficients) have been measured for all ligands and metal complexes. A direct correlation between the D and HAIR(50) properties cannot be made because of the relative structural diversity of the complexes, but it may be noted that these properties are enhanced upon complexation of the inactive ligand L(3) to ruthenium, to give a metal complex (3) with promising antimalarial activity.  相似文献

Four oxovanadium(V) complexes of heterocycle based ditopic ligands PyPzOAP (N-[amino(pyridin-2-yl)methylidene]-5-methyl-1-(pyridin-2-yl)-1H-pyrazole-3-carbohydrazonic acid), PyPzOAPz (N-[amino(pyrazin-2-yl)methylidene]-5-methyl-1-(pyridin-2-yl)-1H-pyrazole-3-carbohydrazonic acid), PymPzOAP (N-[amino(pyridin-2-yl)methylidene]-1-(4,6-dimethylpyrimidin-2-yl)-5-methyl-1H-pyrazole-3-carbohydrazonic acid) and PyPzCAP (5-methyl-1-(pyridin-2-yl)-N′-[1-(pyridin-2-yl)ethylidene]-1H-pyrazole-3-carbohydrazide) and a binuclear (di-μ-oxo) oxovanadium(V) complex of the ligand PymPzCAP (1-(4,6-dimethylpyrimidin-2-yl)-5-methyl-N′-[1-(pyridin-2-yl)ethylidene]-1H-pyrazole-3-carbohydrazide) have been investigated. The ligands act as uninegative NNO tridentates donors for the VO2+ ion exhibiting their monotopicity. The ligands show varying emission properties due to the presence of fluophoric groups like 1-(2-pyridyl)pyrazole or 1-(2-pyrimidyl)pyrazole. The vanadium(V) complexes show fluorescence quenching with respect to the used ligands to a varying extent. The complexes were characterized by UV-Vis, IR, cyclic voltammetry and X-ray crystallography.  相似文献

N-(-1H-Benzimidazol-2-yl) imidates 1a–c react with chlorophosphoramide to give the N-[-1-N,N,N′,N′-tetramethylphosphoramidoyl-1H-benzimidazol-2-yl]-imidates 2a–c or with dichlorophosphoramide to yield the bis[(N-1-benzimidazol-2-yl)-imidate] phosphoramide derivatives 3a–b. The reaction of compounds 2a–c toward primary amines is studied. The obtained amidine derivatives 4a–b were unambiguously characterized by different spectroscopic techniques (IR, 1H, 13C, and 31P NMR, and in some cases MS).  相似文献

A protocol for the synthesis of 3-[4-(1-benzofuran-2-yl)-1,3-thiazol-2-yl]-2-(4-aryl)-1,3-thiazolidin-4-one derivatives (5a–e) has been developed from 1-(1-benzofuran-2-yl)-2-bromoethanone (2),which served as a key intermediate for the synthesis of the title compounds. The reaction of compound 2 with thiourea furnished 4-(1-benzofuran-2-yl)-1,3-thiazol-2-amine 3, which upon further reaction with various aromatic aldehydes, gave Schiff bases 4a–e. These Schiff bases, when treated with thioacetic acid in the presence of catalytic amount of anhydrous ZnCl2, yielded thiazolidinone derivatives 5a–e. All the newly synthesized compounds have been characterized by analytical and spectral data and screened for their antimicrobial and analgesic activity.

Sm., four phenylpropens, (E)-3-(4-methoxyphenyl)prop-2-en-1-amine (1), (E)-4-methoxycinamaldehyde (2), (E)-4-methoxycinamic acid (3) and (E)-1-methoxy-4-(3-methoxyprop-1-enyl)benzene (4), together with two other compounds, (E)-((E)-3-(4-methoxyphenyl)allyl)3-(4-hydroxyphenyl)acrylate (5) and 4-methoxybenzoic acid (6) were isolated. This is the first report on the presence of all compounds in Etlingera. Compounds 1 and 5 have been previously synthesised, but this is the first report of their isolation from a natural source. Compound 5 exhibited weak activity against Mycobacterium tuberculosis with MIC 50.00 μg/mL and cytotoxic activity against the KB, MCF7 and NCI-H187 cells with IC50 values of 25.11, 20.16 and 34.83 μg/mL, respectively.  相似文献
