Unprecedented chiral oxacalixarenes were obtained from the reaction of (±)-1,1′-binaphthyl-2,2′-diol (BINOL) with 1,5-difluoro-2,4-dinitrobenzene. Structural elucidation of C2h-symmetric meso (R,S)-oxacalix[4]arene and D2-symmetric racemic (as well as enantiopure) (R,R)- and (S,S)-oxacalix[4]arene was carried out by means of 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopy, ESI-MS, X-ray diffractometry, and circular dichroism spectroscopy.  相似文献

Tetranitrooxacalix[4]arenes are generated in high yield by the room-temperature S(N)Ar reaction of 1,3-dihydroxybenzenes with 1,5-difluoro-2,4-dinitrobenzene. The reaction is tolerant to a range of functionality on the nucleophilic component, including hydroxyl-substitution at the 2- and 5-positions, which yields previously unknown 26,28- and 5,17-dihydroxyoxacalix[4]arenes.  相似文献

p-Perfluoroalkylealix[4]arenes were prepared readily from the reaction of calix-[4]arene with perfluoroalkyl iodides in the presence of sodium dithionite or sodium hydroxy-methanesulfinate under mild conditions,These fluorine-containing calixarenes showed bettersolubilities in common organic solvents as compared to their nonperfluoroalkylation analogand formed inclusion complexes with many neutral molecules as well as fluorocarbons.  相似文献

Tetranitroazacalix[4]arenes have been synthesized by the nucleophilic aromatic substitution of 1,5-difluoro-2,4-dinitrobenzene with 1,3-diaminobenzenes. An X-ray crystal structure analysis revealed that the azacalixarenes adopt a non-symmetrical 1,3-alternate conformation, and the dinitrobenzene rings strongly conjugate with the bridging nitrogen atoms. In the 1H NMR spectrum (CDCl3, 30 °C), the tetraisopropyl derivative 3b displays a pair of diastereotopic methyl signals of the isopropyl groups in agreement with the frozen 1,3-alternate conformation on the NMR time scale. The free energy of activation () for the macrocyclic inversion was determined to be 87.5 kJ mol−1 by temperature-dependent NMR spectroscopy.  相似文献

Mono-, di-, and tetraiodothiacalix[4]arenes 13-16 have been successfully synthesized for the first time by the Griess reaction of diazonium salts of the corresponding aminothiacalix[4]arenes 4-7. X-ray crystallography reveals that monoiodinated compound 13 adopts a distorted pinched cone conformation, in which the three hydroxy groups and the iodine atom form a pseudo-cyclic hydrogen bonding. On the other hand, tetraiodinated compound 16 adopts a 1,3-alternate conformation presumably due to the steric hindrance and dipole repulsion between the iodine atoms.  相似文献

A series of new calix[4]phenols, calix[4]resorcinols and calix[4]pyrogallols with acetylhydrazide substitutes has been␣synthesized with high yields by hydrazinolysis of ester group containing calix[4]arenes. The synthesized calix[4]phenols adopt the cone conformation while the calix[4]resorcinol and calix[4]pyrogallol derivatives prefer the boat conformation. The amide fragment of the hydrazide groups predominantly exists in the trans-conformation. The binding ability of synthesized calix[4]arenes toward transition and alkali metals by solvent extraction has been investigated.  相似文献

New derivatives of calix[4]arenes, containing two isoindole fragments in distal positions of the macrocycle upper rim were synthesized. According to NMR and molecular modeling data, the obtained calixarenes exist in “flattened cone” conformation with inclination angles of benzene rings to the macrocycle plane equal to 133–140° and 92–100°. Fluorometric studies showed the presence of self-aggregation of isoindolenylcalixarenes in acetone solutions starting from micromolar concentrations.  相似文献

All four stereoisomers of p-tert-butylsulfinylcalix[4]arene [4(rccc), 4(rcct), 4(rctt), and 4(rtct)], arising from the disposition of the four sulfinyl groups with respect to the mean plane of the four bridging sulfur atoms, have been prepared via oxidation of p-tert-butylthiacalix[4]arene (2) or its tetra-O-benzyl ethers 5 of defined conformations. Thus, treatment of 2 with 4.4 molar equiv of NaBO(3).4H(2)O gave the rtct and rctt isomers in 27% and 17% yields, respectively, while oxidation of cone 5 (5(C)) and partial cone 5 (5(PC)) proceeded stereoselectively to give, after debenzylation of the resulting tetrasulfoxides 12 and 15, the rccc and rcct isomers in 56% and 28% yields, respectively, based on 5. The sulfinylcalix[4]arenes 4 were treated with iodomethane in the presence of a base to give the corresponding tetramethyl ethers 16, the structures of which in regard to the disposition of the sulfinyl groups and the conformation of the phenol units were determined by X-ray crystallography. Also reported is the synthesis of all four conformational isomers of tetra-O-benzyl ether of 2 (5(C), 5(PC), 5(1,2-A), and 5(1,3-A)).  相似文献

A new series of highly fluorinated calix[4]arene-based amphiphilic molecules was designed and synthesized. Using the calix[4]arene scaffold, four perfluorinated hyper-hydrophobic groups and four water solubilizing chains were introduced in the same molecule and also segregated in space following the scaffold directionality. Upon solubilization in aqueous solutions, these amphiphilic molecules form microscopic fluorous domains that drive the formation of various self-assembly patterns. We found that the self-assembly of these semifluorinated calix[4]arenes is dependent on external stimuli, such as changes in the polarity of the solvent or pH. As a consequence, by changing the pH of the solutions, it is possible to shift the aggregation pattern of these molecules, by a regular change either in the shape or in the size of the initially formed ordered aggregates. These are examples of the variety of structures and possibilities in nano-engineering offered by fluorous-phase driven molecular recognition.  相似文献

Stereoisomers of thiacalix[4]arenes unsubstituted at the upper rim and containing four carbonyl fragments have been synthesized for the first time. Their structures were studied by 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopy, IR spectroscopy, and mass spectrometry. The complexation properties of the macro-cycles toward alkaline metal cations were estimated by the picrate extraction method. The absence of the preorganization effect in the case of the thiacalixarenes unsubstituted at the upper rim is the main reason for the sharp decrease in their extraction ability. 使用相应的w-硫醚羧酸酰氯与杯[4]芳烃或者偶氮杯[4]芳烃酰化合成了一类新型的杯[4]芳烃衍生物。分离得到六个新化合物4a-4c和5a-5c,并使用MALDI, EA, 1H和13C NMR进行了表征。NMR图谱表明偶氮杯[4]芳烃衍生物 5a-5c均为1,3-转换构型,而4a-4c则均为锥式构型。对偶氮杯[4]芳烃衍生物5a-5c的红外和紫外性质也进行了研究。  相似文献

The regioselective nitration of 25,27-dipropoxythiacalix[4]arene was carried out as a key step in the synthesis of thiacalix[4]arene derivative bearing two arylureido functions on the upper rim. The preorganisation of ureido units using the thiacalix[4]arene/calix[4]arene moieties as a molecular scaffold gave novel anion receptors. These compounds, albeit based on hydrogen bonding interactions, show good complexation ability even in highly HB-competitive solvent, such as DMSO. Direct comparison of otherwise identical structures 6a and 7a revealed remarkable dominance of the thiacalix[4]arene derivative over its classical analogue in anion binding.  相似文献

A series of tetrahomodiazacalix[4]arenes (1–8) with different substituents (or substituted) at the upper rim and/or N-side arm has been synthesized with acceptable yields. The compounds were characterized by elemental analysis, IR, MS and NMR methods. In particular, 5 was shown by X-ray crystallography to adopt the cone conformation in the solid state. Two-phase picrate extraction showed that 2 and 6, bearing N-2-picolyl arms, are the best extractants. Of the cations tested, Ag(I) is the best extracted by almost all ligands and the extraction efficiency follows the order 2-picolyl > 3-picolyl > 4-picolyl.  相似文献
