The Atanassov’s intuitionistic fuzzy (IF) set theory has become a popular topic of investigation in the fuzzy set community. However, there is less investigation on the representation of level sets and extension principles for interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy (IVIF) sets as well as algebraic operations. In this paper, firstly the representation theorem of IVIF sets is proposed by using the concept of level sets. Then, the extension principles of IVIF sets are developed based on the representation theorem. Finally, the addition, subtraction, multiplication and division operations over IVIF sets are defined based on the extension principle. The representation theorem and extension principles as well as algebraic operations form an important part of Atanassov’s IF set theory.  相似文献

Civil engineering projects and designs are commonly developed in a systems framework that includes different types of uncertainty. In general, uncertainty can be of the ambiguity or vagueness type. The theory of probability and statistics has been extensively used in civil engineering to deal with the ambiguity type of uncertainty. The theory of fuzzy sets and systems have been used in civil engineering to model the vagueness type of uncertainty in many civil engineering applications. In this paper, the role of fuzzy sets in civil engineering systems is described using several example applications, e.g., quality assessment of wildlife habitat, construction engineering and management, structural reliability, and damage assessment of existing structures.  相似文献

In this paper we propose a method to construct more general fuzzy sets using ordinary fuzzy sets as building blocks. We introduce the concept of multi-fuzzy sets in terms of ordered sequences of membership functions. The family of operations T, S, M of multi-fuzzy sets are introduced by coordinate wise t-norms, s-norms and aggregation operations. We define the notion of coordinate wise conjugation of multifuzzy sets, a method for obtaining Atanassov’s intuitionistic fuzzy operations from multi-fuzzy sets. We show that various binary operations in Atanassov’s intuitionistic fuzzy sets are equivalent to some operations in multi-fuzzy sets like M operations, 2-conjugates of the T and S operations. It is concluded that multi-fuzzy set theory is an extension of Zadeh’s fuzzy set theory, Atanassov’s intuitionsitic fuzzy set theory and L-fuzzy set theory.  相似文献

The notion of product fuzzy topology in the case of fuzzy topology on fuzzy sets is introduced and the product invariance of fuzzy Hausdorffness, compactness, connectedness are examined. The product fuzzy topology is used to define fuzzy group topology on a fuzzy subgroup of a group G and some properties of fuzzy topological groups are obtained.  相似文献

In crisp environment the notions of normal subgroup and group operating on a set are well known due to many applications. In this paper we study extensions of these classical notions to the larger universe of fuzzy sets. A toral algebraic set A is an algebraic set in n whose intersection with T n is sufficiently large to determine the holomorphic functions on A. We develop the theory of these sets, and give a number of applications to function theory in several variables and operator theoretic model theory. In particular, we show that the uniqueness set for an extremal Pick problem on the bidisk is a toral algebraic set, that rational inner functions have zero sets whose irreducible components are not toral, and that the model theory for a commuting pair of contractions with finite defect lives naturally on a toral algebraic set.  相似文献

A fuzzy ordering for fuzzy sets on is presented by a fuzzy relation on which is induced by closed convex cones. The suitability of the fuzzy order is discussed using the axioms A1–A7 in (Fuzzy Sets and Systems 118 (2001) 375). For fuzzy sets on which are incomparable with respect to the fuzzy order, a method to evaluate the degree of satisfaction regarding the fuzzy order is presented by using a subsethood degree. Approximation by discrete cases is discussed for numerical calculation on the degree of the fuzzy order. Numerical examples are also given to illustrate our idea.  相似文献

Abstract. The objective of this paper is to deal with a kind of fuzzy linear programming problem based on interval-valued fuzzy sets (IVFLP) through the medium of procedure that turns IVFLP into parametric linear programming via the mathematical programming. Some useful results for the benefit of solving IVFLP are expounded and proved,developed and discussed. Furthermore,that the proposed techniques in this paper allow the decision-maker to assign a different degree of importance can provide a useful way to efficiently help the decision-maker make their decisions.  相似文献
