A shape-preserving quasi-interpolation operator satisfying quadratic polynomial reproduction property to scattered data

In this paper, we construct a univariate quasi-interpolation operator to non-uniformly distributed data by cubic multiquadric functions. This operator is practical, as it does not require derivatives of the being approximated function at endpoints. Furthermore, it possesses univariate quadratic polynomial reproduction property, strict convexity-preserving and shape-preserving of order 3 properties, and a higher convergence rate. Finally, some numerical experiments are shown to compare the approximation capacity of our quasi-interpolation operator with that of Wu and Schaback’s quasi-interpolation scheme.

Let M(u) be an N-function, Lr(f, x) and Kr(f, x) are Bak operator and Kan-torovich operator, WM(Lr(f)) and WM(Kr(f)) are the Sobolev-Orlicz classes defined by Lr(f, x), Kr(f, x) and M(u). In this paper we give the asymptotic estimates of the n?K widths dn(WM(Lr(f)),L2[0,1]) and dn(WM(Kr(f)),L2[0,1]).     

Oscillatory Property of n-th Order Functional Differential Equations

The authors study oscillatory property of nonlinear functional differential equation $L_nx(t)+p(t)f(x(t),x(g(t)))=r(t)$(1) where L_nx(t) is an n-th order linear differential operator defined by $L_0x(t)=x(t)$, $L_kx(t)=\frac{d}{dt}(a_k-1(t)L_k-1x(t)),k=1,2,\cdots,n.$ Sufficient conditions are obtained which guarantee that all continuable solutions of (1) are oscillatory or tend to zero as t\rightarrow \infinity.

On the Fourier cosine-Kontorovich-Lebedev generalized convolution transforms

We deal with several classes of integral transformations of the form $$f(x) \to D\int_{\mathbb{R}_ + ^2 } {\frac{1} {u}} \left( {e^{ - u\cosh (x + v)} + e^{ - u\cosh (x - v)} } \right)h(u)f(v)dudv,$$ , where D is an operator. In case D is the identity operator, we obtain several operator properties on L _p (?₊) with weights for a generalized operator related to the Fourier cosine and the Kontorovich-Lebedev integral transforms. For a class of differential operators of infinite order, we prove the unitary property of these transforms on L ₂(?₊) and define the inversion formula. Further, for an other class of differential operators of finite order, we apply these transformations to solve a class of integro-differential problems of generalized convolution type.

Riesz函数演算的Lipschitz性质

设A是具有单位的复Banach代数,Ω为复平面C上的一个区域,γ是复平面上的任一可求长的封闭曲线且其内部区域ins(γ)Ω,证明了存在A的子集A_δ~γ,使得对于Ω上的任一解析函数f,Riesz函数演算f:xf(x)是从A_δ~γ到A中的Lipschitz映射即f∈L~1(A_δ~γ,A)且其Lipschtiz常数(L_1(f)■M_f(γ)Γ)/(2πδ~2)．作为这一结果的应用,研究了算子值的根式函数TT~(1/m)及绝对值函数T|T|的Lipschitz性质．最后,证明了:若f为一个复值整函数,则对任一非空有界集EA,有f∈L~1(E,A)．     

一类二阶边值问题解的存在性

讨论了一类椭圆问题:-u″+a(x)u=f(x,u),u(0)=u(1)=0,a∈C([0,1],R+),f∈C~1([0,1]×R~1,R~1)且对任意的x∈[0,1]有f(x,0)=0.我们首先给出了关于f的一些条件,然后运用强单调算子原理建立了此问题唯一解的存在性结果.
