LiEuPSe4, the first quaternary lithium-containing selenophosphate, was synthesized as red polyhedra by reacting Eu with a molten mixture of Li2Se/P2Se5/Se at 750 degrees C. Similarly, the reaction of Eu with a molten mixture of K2Se/P2Se5/Se at 495 degrees C produced red polyhedral crystals of KEuPSe4. Both compounds are unstable in moist air. In addition, both compounds were plagued with crystal twinning. Acceptable crystal structure refinements could only be obtained by identifying the type of twinning and taking it into account in the final refinement. LiEuPSe4 crystallizes in the noncentrosymmetric space group Ama2 (no. 40) with a = 10.5592 (9) A, b = 10.415 (1) A, c = 6.4924(7) A, and Z = 4. The structure is three-dimensional and composed of EuSe8 distorted square antiprisms and PSe4 tetrahedral building blocks that create tunnels, running down the a axis, in which the Li ions reside. The Li ions are in a highly distorted tetrahedral coordination. KEuPSe4 crystallizes in the space group P2(1)/m (no. 11) with a = 6.8469(6) A, b = 6.9521(6) A, c = 9.0436(8) A, beta = 107.677(2) degrees, and Z = 2. The structure has two-dimensional character with layers composed of EuSe6 trigonal prisms and PSe4 tetrahedral units. Between the [EuPSe4]nn- layers the K ions reside in a bicapped trigonal prism of Se atoms. The structure of the [EuPSe4]nn- framework is similar to that found in CsPbPSe4. Both compounds are semiconductors with band gaps of 2.00 and 1.88 eV, respectively. Differential thermal analysis and infrared spectroscopic characterization are also reported.  相似文献

Complexes [Zn[Se(2)P(OEt)(2)](2)]( infinity ) (1) and [Zn(2)[Se(2)P(O(i)Pr)(2)](4)] (2) are prepared from the reaction of Zn(ClO(4))(2).6H(2)O and (NH(4))[Se(2)P(OR)(2)] (R = Et and (i)Pr) in a molar ratio of 1:2 in deoxygenated water at room temperature. Positive FAB mass spectra show m/z peaks at 968.8 (Zn(2)L(3)(+)) and 344.8 (ZnL(+)) for 1 and m/z at 1052.8 (Zn(2)L(3)(+)) for 2. (1)H NMR spectra exhibit chemical shifts at delta 1.43 and 4.23 ppm for 1 and 1.41 and 4.87 ppm for 2 due to Et and (i)Pr group of dsep ligands. While the solid-state structure of compound 1 is a one-dimensional polymer via symmetrically bridging dsep ligands, complex 2 in the crystalline state exists as a dimer. In both 1 and 2, zinc atoms are connected by two bridging dsep ligands with an additional chelating ligand at each zinc atom. The dsep ligands exhibit bimetallic biconnective (micro(2), eta(2)) and monometallic biconnective (eta(2)) coordination patterns. Thus, each zinc atom is coordinated by four selenium atoms from two bridging and one chelating dsep ligands and the geometry around zinc is distorted tetrahedral. The Zn-Se distances range between 2.422 and 2.524 A. From variable-temperature (31)P NMR studies it has been found that monomer and dimer of the complex are in equilibrium in solution via exchange of bridging and chelating ligands. However, at temperature above 40 degrees C the complex exists as a monomer and shows a very sharp peak while with lowering of the temperature the percentage of dimer increases gradually at the expense of monomer. Below -90 degrees C the complex exists as a dimer and two peaks are observed with equal intensities which are due to bridging and chelating ligands. (77)Se NMR spectra of both complexes at -30 degrees C exhibit three doublets due to the presence of monomer and dimer in solution.  相似文献

A new preparative sequence from 2,3-polymethylene-2-cyclopentenone 5 to 2,6-polymethylenebromobenzenes 3 (n = 6, 7, 10) and 2,6-polymethylenephenyllithiums 6 has been found. The reaction of 6 with various electrophiles produces a number of new compounds to disclose the unique reactivity of the aryl C-Li moiety surrounded by the polymethylene chain. Photolysis of 3a and 3b provides transannular products 8, 10 and 11, all arising from the proximity between the aromatic bromine and the aliphatic hydrogen intraannularly opposed to be removed as HBr. Spectrometric study gives quantitative data of the dependence of the molecular geometry upon the chain length and the aromatic substituents. The energy barriers ΔGc of the conformational flipping are 17·4 kcal/mol (Tc 76·5°) for [6]metacyclophane (7a), 11·5 kcal/mol (Tc ?28°) for [7]metacyclophane (7b), ·8 kcal/mol for [10]metacyclophane (7c). The lower-energy process of the aliphatic chain in [6]metacyclophane derivatives is the pseudorotation with substituent-dependent barrier ΔGc 11·1 kcal/mol (Tc ?31·5°) for 7a, 12·4 kcal/mol (Tc ?4·5°) for 3a and 12·7 kcal/mol (Tc 1·0°) for 12a. The rather large rotational barrier is attributed to the compressed structure of each system. The benzene ring distortion of the cyclophanes is deduced from the bathochromic shift of the B-band and the diamagnetic shift of the benzene proton signals in the PMR.  相似文献

Chloro- and Polyselenoselenates(II): Synthesis, Structure, and Properties of [Ph3(C2H4OH)P]2[SeCl4] · MeCN, [Ph4P]2[Se2Cl6], and [Ph4P]2[Se(Se5)2] By symproportionation of elemental selenium and SeCl4 in polar protic solvents the novel chloroselenates(+II), [SeCl4]2? and [Se2Cl6]2?, could be stabilized; they were crystallized with voluminous organic cations. They were characterized from complete X-ray structure analysis. Yellow-orange [Ph3(C2H4OH)P]2[SeCl4] · MeCN (space group P1 , a = 10.535(4), b = 12.204(5), c = 16.845(6) Å, α = 77.09(3)°, β = 76.40(3)°, γ = 82.75(3)° at 140 K) contains in its crystal structure monomeric [SeCl4]2? anions with square-planar coordination of Se(+II). The mean Se? Cl bond length is 2.441 Å. In yellow [Ph4P]2[Se2Cl6] (space group P1 , a = 10.269(3), b = 10.836(4), c = 10.872(3) Å, α = 80.26(3)°, β = 79.84(2)°, γ = 72.21(3)° at 140 K) a dinuclear centrosymmetric [Se2Cl6]2? anion, also with square-planar coordinated Se(+II), is observed. The average terminal and bridging Se? Cl bond distances are 2.273 and 2.680 Å, respectively. From redox reactions of elemental Se with boranate/thiolate in ethanol/DMF the bis(pentaselenido)selenate(+II) anion [Se(Se5)2]2? was prepared as a novel type of a mixed-valent chalcogenide. In dark-red-brown [Ph4P]2[Se(Se5)2] (space group P21/n, a = 12.748(4), b = 14.659(5), c = 14.036(5) Å, β = 108.53(3)° at 140 K) centrosymmetric molecular [Se(Se5)2]2? anions with square-planar coordination of the central Se(+II) by two bidentate pentaselenide ligands is observed (mean Se? Se bond lengths: 2.658 Å at Se(+II), 2.322 Å in [Se5]2?). The resulting six-membered chelate rings with chair conformation are spirocyclically linked through the central Se(+II). The vibrational spectra of the new anions are reported.  相似文献

The 2,2,2-crypt salts of the Tl4Se8(4-) and [Tl2Se4(2-)]infinity1 anions have been obtained by extraction of the ternary alloy NaTl0.5Se in ethylenediamine (en) in the presence of 2,2,2-crypt and 18-crown-6 followed by vapor-phase diffusion of THF into the en extract. The [2,2,2-crypt-Na]4[Tl4Se8].en crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/n, with Z = 2 and a = 14.768(3) angstroms, b = 16.635(3) angstroms, c = 21.254(4) angstroms, beta = 94.17(3) degrees at -123 degrees C, and the [2,2,2-crypt-Na]2[Tl2Se4]infinity1.en crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c, with Z = 4 and a = 14.246(2) angstroms, b = 14.360(3) angstroms, c = 26.673(8) angstroms, beta = 99.87(3) degrees at -123 degrees C. The TlIII anions, Tl2Se6(6-) and Tl3Se7(5-), and the mixed oxidation state TlI/TlIII anion, Tl3Se6(5-), have been obtained by extraction of NaTl0.5Se and NaTlSe in en, in the presence of 2,2,2-crypt and/or in liquid NH3, and have been characterized in solution by low-temperature 77Se, 203Tl, and 205Tl NMR spectroscopy. The 1J(203,205Tl-77Se) and 2J(203,205Tl-203,205Tl) couplings of the three anions have been used to arrive at their solution structures by detailed analyses and simulations of all spin multiplets that comprise the 205,203Tl NMR subspectra arising from natural abundance 205,203Tl and 77Se isotopomer distributions. The structure of Tl2Se6(6-) is based on a Tl2Se2 ring in which each thallium is bonded to two exo-selenium atoms so that these thalliums are four-coordinate and possess a formal oxidation state of +3. The Tl4Se8(4-) anion is formally derived from the Tl2Se6(6-) anion by coordination of each pair of terminal Se atoms to the TlIII atom of a TlSe+ cation. The structure of the [Tl2Se4(2-)]infinity1 anion is comprised of edge-sharing distorted TlSe4 tetrahedra that form infinite, one-dimensional [Tl2Se42-]infinity1 chains. The structures of Tl3Se6(5-) and Tl3Se7(5-) are derived from Tl4Se4-cubes in which one thallium atom has been removed and two and three exo-selenium atoms are bonded to thallium atoms, respectively, so that each is four-coordinate and possesses a formal oxidation state of +3 with the remaining three-coordinate thallium atom in the +1 oxidation state. Quantum mechanical calculations at the MP2 level of theory show that the Tl2Se6(6-), Tl3Se6(5-), Tl3Se7(5-), and Tl4Se8(4-) anions exhibit true minima and display geometries that are in agreement with their experimental structures. Natural bond orbital and electron localization function analyses were utilized in describing the bonding in the present and previously published Tl/Se anions, and showed that the Tl2Se6(6-), Tl3Se6(5-), Tl3Se7(5-), and Tl4Se8(4-) anions are electron-precise rings and cages.  相似文献

Crystal Structure of Tetraphenylphosphonium Monothiocyanatohydro-closo-Decaborate, [P(C6H5)4]2[2-(SCN)B10H9] · CH3CN The X-ray structure determination of [P(C6H5)4]2[2-(SCN)B10H9] · CH3CN (monoclinic, space group P21/n, a = 10.6040(10), b = 13.8880(9), c = 33.888(3) Å, β = 94.095(8)°, Z = 4) reveals the S coordination of the SCN substituent with a B? The structure of the silicate Rb10[Si6O17] containing a novel dimeric cyclotrisilicate anion is reported. The compound is formed by the reaction of a mixture of SiO2 and Rb at temperatures above 700 degrees C. Systematic investigations by means of differential thermal analysis and temperature-dependent powder X-ray diffraction experiments revealed that the new compound evolved from Rb6[Si3O9], which occurred as an intermediate product. Thus, the dimeric anion [Si6O17]10- is formed by condensation of the monomeric cyclotrisilicate [Si3O9]6-. For both silicates, [Si6O17]10- and [Si3O9]6-, the characteristic ring vibration modes were observed in the IR spectrum. The structure of Rb10[Si6O17] was solved and refined from single-crystal X-ray diffraction data in the orthorhombic space group Pbca (No. 61). Synthesis and structure determination of Rb10[Si6O17] bridge the gap to show that the recently reported structures of Rb14[Si4][Si6O17] and Rb14[Ge4][Si6O17] are indeed fascinating intergrowth structures of the stable oxide Rb10[Si6O17] and the Zintl phases RbSi (Rb4Si4) and RbGe (Rb4Ge4), respectively.  相似文献

About Selenidostannates. I Synthesis, Structure, and Properties of [Sn2Se6]4–, [Sn4Se10]4–, and [Sn3Se7]2– The selenidostannates [(C4H9)2NH2]4Sn2Se6 · H2O ( I ), [(C4H9)2NH2]4Sn4Se10 · 2 H2O ( II ) und [(C3H7)3NH]2Sn3Se7 ( III ) were prepared by hydrothermal syntheses from the elements and the amines. I crystallizes in the monoclinic spacegroup P21/n (a = 1262.9(3) pm, b = 1851.3(4) pm, c = 2305.2(4) pm, β = 104.13(3)° and Z = 4). The [Sn2Se6]4– anion consists of two edge‐sharing tetrahedra. II crystallizes in the orthorhombic spacegroup Pna21 (a = 2080.3(4) pm, b = 1308.2(3) pm, c = 2263.5(5) pm and Z = 4). The anion is formed from four SnSe4 tetrahedra which are joined by common corners to the adamantane cage [Sn4Se10]4–. III crystallizes in the orthorhombic spacegroup Pbcn (a = 1371.1(3) pm, b = 2285.4(5) pm, c = 2194.7(4) pm and Z = 8). The anion is a chain, built from edge‐sharing [Sn3Se5Se4/2]2– units, in which two corner sharing tetrahedra are connected to a trigonal bipyramid by an edge of one and a corner of the other tetrahedron. The results of the TG/DSC measurements and of temperature dependent X‐ray diffractograms reveal that I and II decompose at first by release of minor quantities of triethylammonium to compounds with layer structure and larger cell dimensions. At still higher temperature the rest of triethylammonium and H2Se is evolved, leaving SnSe2 and Se in the bulk. The former decomposes partially at the highest temperature to SnSe. In the measurements of III the complex intermediate compound was not observed. III decomposes directly to SnSe2.  相似文献

Two noncentrosymmetric quaternary tin chalcoarsenates, Cs(2)SnAs(2)S(9) (1) and Cs(2)SnAs(2)Se(9) (2), were synthesized by the polychalcoarsenate flux method. Compound 1 crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pmc2(1) with a = 7.386(3) A, b = 14.614(5) A, c = 14.417(5) A, and Z = 4. Compound 2 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1) with a = 7.715(5) A, b = 17.56(1) A, c = 7.663(5) A, beta = 115.86(1) degrees, and Z = 2. Both structures contain the same tin-centered molecular cluster anions [Sn[AsQ(2)(Q(2))][AsQ(Q(2))(2)]](2)(-) (Q = S, Se) separated by Cs cations. The Sn(4+) ion is in a distorted octahedral environment coordinated by two different pyramidal-shaped tridentate ligands, [AsQ(2)(Q(2))](3)(-) and [AsQ(Q(2))(2)](3)(-). These compounds absorb visible light at energies above 1.98 and 1.45 eV for 1 and 2, respectively. Differential thermal analysis revealed that 1 melts at 350 degrees C and on cooling gives a glass. The glass recrystallizes at 268 degrees C upon subsequent heating. Compound 2 melts at 258 degrees C.  相似文献

We report the measurement of 113Cd NMR chemical shift data for homoleptic thioether and related aza and mixed aza/thiacrown complexes. In a series of Cd(II) complexes containing trithioether to hexathioether ligands, we observe solution 113Cd NMR chemical shifts in the range of 225 to 731 ppm. Upfield chemical shifts in these NMR spectra are seen whenever: (a) the number of thioether sulfur donors in the complex is decreased, (b) a thioether sulfur donor is replaced by a secondary nitrogen donor, or (c) the size of the macrocycle ring increases without a change in the nature or number of the donor atoms. Changes in the identity of non-coordinating anions such as perchlorate or hexafluorophosphate have little effect upon the 113Cd NMR chemical shift in solution. We report the X-ray structure of the complex [Cd([12]aneS4)2](ClO4)2 ([12]aneS4 = 1,4,7,10-tetrathiacyclododecane) (1) which shows the first example of octakis(thioether) coordination of a metal ion, forming an unusual eight-coordinate square antiprismatic structure. We report the X-ray structure of the complex [Cd([9]aneS3)2](PF6)2 ([9]aneS3 = 1,4,7-trithiacyclononane) (3a) which shows hexakis(thioether) coordination to form a distorted octahedral structure. We have also prepared and characterized the Cd(II) complex of a mixed azathiacrown, [Cd([18]aneS4N2)](PF6)2 ([18]aneS4N2 = 1,4,10,13-tetrathia-7,16-diazacyclooctadecane) (6). Its X-ray structure shows a distorted octahedral S4N2 environment around the Cd(II) with the ligand coordinated in the rac fashion. We observe a solvent- and temperature-dependent 14N-1H coupling in the 1H NMR spectrum of the complex which is not present in analogous complexes with this ligand.  相似文献

Carbon-13 NMR spectra of solid polycrystalline bicyclo[3.3.1]nonan-9-one and adamantanone have been measured at 315K. The relatively narrow 13C linewidths observed for these solids, together with measured spin-lattice relaxation times, indicate that both these solids are orientationally disordered. Observed 13C chemical shifts of solid bicyclo[3.3.1]nonan-9-one indicate a twin-chair conformation for the two cyclohexanone rings.  相似文献

New ternary and quaternary molybdenum cluster chalcohalides were obtained by high-temperature reactions between Mo, chalcogens, and halogens in evacuated ampules. The crystal structures of [Mo3Se7(TeBr3)Br2]2[Te2Br10] (1), [Mo3Se7(TeI3)I2]I (2), and [Mo3Te7(TeI3)3]2(I)(TeI3) (3) were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The structures of 1 and 2 consist of positively charged zigzag chains infinity1 [Mo3Se7(TeX3)X4/2] (X=Br, I), with Te2Br102- and I-, respectively, as counterions. The TeI3- and TeBr3- ions function as bidentate ligands in 1 and 2. In 3, TeI3- is not coordinated to the metal but acts as a counterion to the [Mo3Te7(TeI3)3]+ cluster cation.  相似文献

The octahedral cluster anion [Re6Se6Br8]2– was prepared by high-temperature synthesis from elementary substances in the presence of KBr. This cluster anion was isolated and structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis as the (PPh4)2[Re6Se6Br8] complex (1). Refluxing of polymeric rhenium selenide bromide Re6Se6Br6 in DMF in the presence of Bu4NBr led to the cleavage of the Re—Br—Re bridges to form the complex (Bu4N)2[Re6Se6Br8]. Comparative analysis of the interatomic distances in the octahedral rhenium(iii) selenide bromide clusters was carried out.  相似文献

Single crystals of A2ThP3Se9 (A = K (I), Rb (II)) and Cs4Th2PsSe17 (III) form from the reaction of Th and P in a molten A2Se3/Se (A = K, Rb, Cs) flux at 750 degrees C for 100 h. Compound I crystallizes in the triclinic space group P1 (No. 2) with unit cell parameters a = 10.4582(5) A, b = 16.5384(8) A, c = 10.2245(5) A, alpha = 107.637(1); beta = 91.652(1); gamma = 90.343(1) degrees, and Z = 2. Compound II crystallizes in the triclinic space group P1 (No. 2) with the unit cell parameters a = 10.5369(5) A, b = 16.6914(8) A, c = 10.2864(5) A, alpha = 107.614(1) degrees, beta = 92.059(1) degrees, gamma = 90.409(1) degrees, and Z = 2. These structures consist of infinite chains of corner-sharing [Th2Se14] units linked by (P2Se6)4- anions in two directions to form a ribbonlike structure along the [100] direction. Compounds I and II are isostructural with the previously reported K2UP3Se9. Compound III crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c (No. 14) with unit cell parameters a = 10.238(1) A, b = 32.182(2) A, c = 10.749(1) A; beta = 95.832(1) degrees, and Z = 4. Cs4Th2P5Se17 consists of infinite chains of corner-sharing, polyhedral [Th2Se13] units that are also linked by (P2Se6)4- anions in the [100] and [010] directions to form a layered structure. The structure of III features an (Se2)2- anion that is bound eta 2 to Th(2) and eta 1 to Th(1). This anion influences the coordination sphere of the 9-coordinate Th(2) atom such that it is best described as bicapped trigonal prismatic where the eta 2-bound anion occupies one coordination site. The composition of III may be formulated as Cs4Th2(P2Se6)5/2(Se2) due to the presence of the (Se2)2- unit. Raman spectra for these compounds and their interpretation are reported.  相似文献
