We propose an entangled fractional squeezing transformation (EFrST) generated by using two mutually conjugate entangled state representations with the following operator: e-iα(a1?a2?+a1a2)eiπa2?a2; this transformation sharply contrasts the complex fractional Fourier transformation produced by using e-iα(a1?a2?+a2?a2)eiπa2?a2 (see Front. Phys. DOI 10.1007/s11467-014-0445-x). The EFrST is obtained by converting the triangular functions in the integration kernel of the usual fractional Fourier transformation into hyperbolic functions, i.e., tanα → tanhα and sinα → sinhα. The fractional property of the EFrST can be well described by virtue of the properties of the entangled state representations.  相似文献

A 52 MHz Radio Frequency Quadrupole (RFQ) linear accelerator (linac) is designed to serve as an initial structure for the SSC-Linac system (injector into Separated Sector Cyclotron). The designed injection and output energy are 3.5 keV/u and 143 keV/u,respectively.The beam dynamics in this RFQ have been studied using a three-dimensional Particle-In-Cell (PIC) code BEAMPATH.Simulation results show that this RFQ structure is characterized by stable values of beam transmission effciency (at least 95%) for both zerocurrent mode and the space charge dominated regime. The beam accelerated in the RFQ has good quality in both transverse and longitudinal directions, and could easily be accepted by Drift Tube Linac (DTL).The effect of the vane error and that of the space charge on the beam parameters have been studied as well to define the engineering tolerance for RFQ vane machining and alignment.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with orbital stability of the smooth solitary wave with nonzero asymptotic value for the mCH equation

Under the parametric conditions a > 0 and , an interesting phenomenon is discovered, that is, for the stability there exist three bifurcation wave speeds

such that the following conclusions hold.

  1. When wave speed belongs to the interval (c1, c2) for , the smooth solitary wave is orbitally stable.

  2. When wave speed belongs to the interval (c2, c3) for , the smooth solitary wave is orbitally unstable.

  3. When wave speed belongs to the interval (c1, c3) for , the smooth solitary wave is orbitally unstable.

By applying a nonperturbative quantum electrodynamic theory, we study ponderomotive resonances when an electron beam is scattered by a standing photon wave. Our study shows that the ponderomotive parameter up, the ponderomotive energy per laser-photon energy, for each of the two traveling laser modes possesses a minimum value ω/(mec2). Ponderomotive resonances occur only when the ratio of the laser photon energy to the electron rest-mass energy is a fraction, where the denominator is twice the square of a positive integer and the numerator is the total ponderomotive number, which is also a positive integer.  相似文献

The axion-like particle (ALP) is a well motivated new particle candidate for beyond the standard model. In this study, we propose to probe the ALP via photon fusion scattering at the upcoming Electron-Ion Collider (EIC) with electron and proton energies of \begin{document}$ E_e=20\; {\rm GeV} $\end{document} and \begin{document}$ E_p=250\; {\rm GeV} $\end{document}, respectively. We can constrain the effective coupling strength between the ALP and photons to be \begin{document}$ 0.2\; {\rm TeV}^{-1} $\end{document} at the \begin{document}$ 2\sigma $\end{document} confidence level with an integrated luminosity of \begin{document}$ 300\; {\rm fb}^{-1} $\end{document} for the mass range \begin{document}$ m_a\in [5,40]\; {\rm GeV} $\end{document}. Such bounds may be significantly improved if we consider the nucleus beam at the EIC. We also demonstrate that the limits from the EIC can be stronger than the off Z-pole measurement at the LEP and light-by-light scattering with pp collisions at the LHC.  相似文献

One of the most fascinating challenges facing modern strong interaction physics is to understand the origin of the spin of the nucleon in terms of the spin and orbital angular momentum of the quarks and gluons. We review recent progress on this problem as well as some of the uncertainties associated with state of the art lattice QCD simulations. In particular,we explain the importance of the corrections associated with chiral extrapolation and finite volume corrections, especially for the term B(0) extracted from the appropriate low moment of the deeply virtual Compton scattering amplitude.  相似文献

This paper presents the prospects of measuring \begin{document}$\sigma(e^{+} e^{-} \to ZH)\times {\rm Br}(H \to \gamma \gamma)$\end{document} in three Z decay channels \begin{document}$ Z \to q \bar{q}/ {\mu ^ + }{\mu ^ - }/ \nu \bar \nu $\end{document} using the baseline detector with \begin{document}$\sqrt{s} = 240$\end{document}GeV at the Circular Electron Positron Collider (CEPC). Simulated Monte Carlo events were generated and scaled to an integrated luminosity of 5.6 ab–1 to mimic the data. Extrapolated results to 20 ab–1 are also reported. The expected statistical precision of these measurements after combining three channels of Z boson decay was 7.7%. With some preliminary estimation on the systematical uncertainties, the total precision is 7.9%. The performance of the CEPC electro-magnetic calorimeter (ECAL) was studied by smearing the photon energy resolution in simulated events in the \begin{document}$e^{+} e^{-} \to ZH \to q\bar q\gamma \gamma $\end{document} channel. In the present ECAL design, the stochastic term in resolution plays the dominant role in the precision of Higgs measurements in the \begin{document}$H \to \gamma \gamma $\end{document} channel. The impact of the resolution on the measured precision of \begin{document}$\sigma(ZH)\times {\rm Br}(ZH \to q\bar q\gamma \gamma)$\end{document} as well as the optimization of the ECAL constant and stochastic terms were studied for further detector design.  相似文献

We investigate the parton distribution function(PDF) uncertainty in the measurement of the effective weak mixing angle sin ~2θ_(eff)~l at the CERN Large Hadron Collider(LHC).The PDF-induced uncertainty is large in proton-proton collisions at the LHC due to the dilution effect. The measurement of the Drell-Yan forward-backward asymmetry(AFB) at the LHC can be used to reduce the PDF uncertainty in the sin~2θ_(eff)~l measurement. However, when including the full mass range of lepton pairs in the A_(FB) data analysis, the correlation between the PDF updating procedure and the sin~2θ_(eff)~l extraction leads to a sizable bias in the obtained sin ~2θ_(eff)~l value. From our studies,we find that the bias can be significantly reduced by removing Drell-Yan events with invariant mass around the Z-pole region, while most of the sensitivity in reducing the PDF uncertainty remains.Furthermore, the lepton charge asymmetry in the Wboson events as a function of the rapidity of the charged leptons,A_±(η_l),is known to be another observable which can be used to reduce the PDF uncertainty in the sin~2θ_(eff)~l measurement. The constraint from A_±(η_l)is complementary to that from A_(FB),and thus no bias affects the sin~2θ_(eff)~l extraction. The studies are performed using the error PDF Updating Method Package(ePump),which is based on Hessian updating methods. In this article, the CT14 HERA2 PDF set is used as an example.  相似文献

A single spin‐1/2 particle obeys the Dirac equation in spatial dimension and is bound by an attractive central monotone potential which vanishes at infinity (in one dimension the potential is even). This work refines the relativistic comparison theorems which were derived by Hall 1 . The new theorems allow the graphs of the two comparison potentials and to crossover in a controlled way and still imply the spectral ordering for the eigenvalues at the bottom of each angular momentum subspace. More specifically in a simplest case we have: in dimension , if , then ; and in dimensions, if , where and , then .

The difference between the strange and antistrange quark distributions,δs(x) = s(x) ˉs(x),and the combination of light quark sea and strange quark sea,Δ(x) =ˉ d(x) + uˉ(x) s(x) ˉs(x),are originated from non-perturbative processes and can be calculated using non-perturbative models of the nucleon. We report calculations of δs(x) and Δ(x) using the meson cloud model.Combining our calculations of Δ(x) with relatively well known light antiquark distributions obtained from global analysis of available experimental data,we estimate the total strange sea distributions of the nucleon.  相似文献

The standard model has for massless quarks and leptons “miraculously” no triangle anomalies due to the fact that the sum of all possible traces — where and are the generators of one, of two or of three of the groups and U (1) — over the representations of one family of the left handed fermions and anti‐fermions (and separately of the right handed fermions and anti‐fermions), contributing to the triangle currents, is equal to zero. 1 - 4 It is demonstrated in this paper that this cancellation of the standard model triangle anomaly follows straightforwardly if the and are the subgroups of the orthogonal group , as it is in the spin‐charge‐family theory. 5 - 22 We comment on the anomaly cancellation, which works if handedness and charges are related “by hand”.  相似文献

In this paper,we include the density dependence behavior of the symmetry energy in the improved quark mass density dependent (IQMDD) model.Under the mean field approximation, this model is applied to investigate neutron star matter and neutron stars successfully.Effects of the density dependence of the symmetry energy on neutron stars are described.  相似文献
