<正>Applied Mathematics-A Journal of Chinese Universities, Series B (Appl. Math. J. Chinese Univ., Ser. B) is a comprehensive applied mathematics journal sponsored by Zhejiang University, China Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics, and Springer-Verlag. It is a quarterly journal with the first issue published in 1993. It is not the translation of the Appl. Math. J. Chinese Univ., Ser. A, which is in Chinese. The primary goal of this journal is to publish innovative and original research papers in applied mathematics, including the application of theoretical results in practical fields.

努力发展中国的工业与应用数学

为进一步发挥数学特别是应用数学在我国工业以至整个国民经济主战场中的积极作用,使工业界、学术界、企业界以及领导决策部门对“数学可以转化为技术,从而促进生产力的发展,提高企业的竞争力。数学在以计算机革命为主要标志的信息社会中具有根本的重要性”这一论点达到共识,积极运用数学方法解决我国工矿企业及其它国民经济部门的实际问题,同时,努力提高我国工业与应用数学学科水平,发展壮大我国工业与应用数学队伍,中国工业与应用数学学会(CSIAM)起草了这份报告,阐述数学与国民经济发展的内在关系,分析我国应用数学学科发展与队伍的现状,并对进一步提高我国应用数学的水平和发挥它对我国国民经济的推动作用提出相应的建议和呼吁。     

《数学杂志》开设新栏目Research Announcements的通知

尊敬的编委、同行评议专家、作者为快速向外界通报国内外优秀的原创性数学成果,《数学杂志》决定于2020年开设一档新的英文栏目Research Announcements,其具体功能和录用规则如下:(1)Research Announcements用以通报纯粹数学和应用数学领域内优秀的研究成果,即为研究成果通报.其功能主要是创建这样一个平台,使之能将一些重要的原创性成果快速向外通报.

国际工业与应用数学联合会(ICIAM)“苏步青奖”和中国工业与应用数学学会(CSIAM)“苏步青应用数学奖”新闻发布会，年前于教育部新闻发布厅举行。中国工业与应用数学学会副理事长阵叔平教授主持了会议。中国科学院院士、国际工业与应用数学联合会执行委员、中国工业与应用数学学会理事长李大潜教授首先介绍了苏步青先生生平以及“苏步青奖”及“苏步青应用数学奖”的有关情况；

Suppose that G is a finite group and D（G） the double algebra of G. For a given subgroup H of G, there is a sub-Hopf algebra D（G; H） of D（G）. This paper gives the concrete construction of a D（G; H）-invariant subspace AH in field algebra of G-spin model and proves that if H is a normal subgroup of G, then AH is Galois closed.
