The superconducting R1.4Ce0.6RuSr2Cu2O10  δ(R = Sm, Eu and Gd) withTc  28, 32 and 42 K are also magnetically ordered atTN  220, 122 and 180 K, respectively, thus,TN  Tc. This is in contrast to intermetallic magnetic superconductors (such as RNi2B2C) in whichTc  TN. Magnetic susceptibility and Mossbauer spectroscopy show that superconductivity is confined to the CuO2planes, whereas magnetism is due to the Ru sublattice. Irreversibility phenomena and magnetic anomalies, observed at low magnetic fields originate from antisymmetric exchange coupling of the Dzyaloshinsky–Moria type, and from spin reorientation of the Ru moments. The shielding fraction is about 100%, supporting the conclusion that the materials consist of a single phase, manifesting both magnetism and superconductivity at once.  相似文献

We discuss the novel superconducting characteristics and unusual normal-state properties of iron (Fe)-based pnictide superconductors REFeAsO1?y (RE = La, Pr, Nd) and Ba0.6K0.4Fe2As2 (Tc = 38 K) by means of 57FeNMR and 75AsNQR/NMR. In the superconducting state of LaFeAsO0.7 (Tc = 28 K), the spin component of the 57Fe-Knight shift decreases to almost zero at low temperatures, which provide firm evidence of the superconducting state formed by spin-singlet Cooper pairing. The nuclear spin–lattice relaxation rates (1/T1) in LaFeAsO0.7 and Ba0.6K0.4Fe2As2 exhibit a T3-like dependence without a coherence peak just below Tc, indicating that an unconventional superconducting state is commonly realized in these Fe-based pnictide compounds. All these events below Tc are consistently argued in terms of an extended s±-wave pairing with a sign reversal of the order parameter among Fermi surfaces. In the normal state, 1/T1T decreases remarkably upon cooling for both the Fe and As sites of LaFeAsO0.7. In contrast, it gradually increases upon cooling in Ba0.6K0.4Fe2As2. Despite the similarity between the superconducting properties of these compounds, a crucial difference was observed in their normal-state properties depending on whether electrons or holes are doped into the FeAs layers. These results may provide some hint to address a possible mechanism of Fe-based pnictide superconductors.  相似文献

Inelastic neutron scattering has been performed on powder sample of an iron-based superconductor BaFe2(As0.65P0.35)2 with superconducting transition temperature (Tc) = 30 K, whose superconducting (SC) order parameter is expected to have line node. In the normal state, constant-E scan of dynamical structure factor, S(Q, E), exhibits a peak structure centered at momentum transfer Q  1.20 Å?1, corresponding to antiferromagnetic wave vector. Below Tc, the redistribution of the magnetic spectral weight takes place, resulting in the formation of a peak at E  12 meV and a gap below 6 meV. The enhanced magnetic peak structure is ascribed to the spin resonance mode, evidencing sign change in the SC order parameter similar to other iron-based high-Tc superconductors. It suggests that fully-gapped s± symmetry dominates in this superconductor, which gives rise to high-Tc (=30 K) despite the nodal symmetry.  相似文献

With the advent of Fe–As based superconductivity it has become important to study how superconductivity manifests itself in details of 57Fe Mössbauer spectroscopy of conventional, Fe-bearing superconductors. To this end, the iron-based superconductor Lu2Fe3Si5 has been studied by 57Fe Mössbauer spectroscopy over the temperature range from 4.4 K to room temperature with particular attention to the region close to the superconducting transition temperature (Tc=6.1 K). Consistent with the two crystallographic sites for Fe in this structure, the observed spectra appear to have a pattern consisting of two doublets over the whole temperature range. The value of Debye temperature was estimated from temperature dependence of the isomer shift and the total spectral area and compared with the specific heat capacity data. Neither abnormal behavior of the hyperfine parameters at or near Tc, nor phonon softening were observed.  相似文献

We review the properties of Ni-based superconductors which contain Ni2X2 (X = As, P, Bi, Si, Ge, B) planes, a common structural element found also in the recently discovered FeAs superconductors. Strong evidence for the fully gapped nature of the superconducting state has come from field dependent thermal conductivity results on BaNi2As2. Coupled with the lack of magnetism, the majority of evidence suggests that the Ni-based compounds are conventional electron–phonon mediated superconductors. However, the increase in Tc in LaNiAsO with doping is anomalous, and mimics the behavior in LaFeAsO. Furthermore, comparisons of the properties of Ni- and Fe-based systems show many similarities, particularly with regards to structure–property relationships. This suggests a deeper connection between the physics of the FeAs superconductors and the related Ni-based systems which deserves further investigation.  相似文献

Low-energy spin excitations have been studied on polycrystalline LaFeAsO1?xFx samples by inelastic neutron scattering. The Q-integrated dynamical spin susceptibility χ″(ω) of the superconducting samples is found to be comparable to that of the magnetically ordered parent sample. On the other hand, χ″(ω) almost vanishes at x = 0.158, where the superconducting transition temperature Tc is suppressed to 7 K. In addition, χ″(ω) in optimally doped LaFeAsO0.918F0.082 with Tc = 29 K exhibits a spin resonance mode. The peak energy, Eres, when scaled by kBTc is similar to the value of about 4.7 reported in other high-Tc iron-based superconductors. This result suggests that there is intimate relationship between the dynamical spin susceptibility and high-Tc superconductivity in iron-based superconductors, and is consistent with a nesting condition between Fermi surfaces at the Γ and M points.  相似文献

We have performed an ab initio band structure calculation for the new high-Tc related iron-pnictide compounds LaFeXO (X = P, As), BaFe2As2, CaFe2As2 and LiFeAs (X = P, As). We found that LaFeXO and CaFe2As2 have many similarities in their band structures, which is expected by an ionic model. We found that the degree of distortion of FeAs4 tetrahedra in LaFeAsO considerably changes the slope of the density of states near the Fermi level, and this result may explain why REFeAsO (RE = Nd, Sm, …) have higher Tc than LaFeAsO when electrons are doped. For all the above compounds, the density of states at the Fermi level decreases when X atoms approaches to the Fe–Fe plane, which means that the hybridization between Fe and X orbitals considerably expands the Fe d-bands.  相似文献

Although BPSCCO superconducting regime has very low stability under high oxygen pressures as reported in the literature, we managed to synthesize relatively pure 2212-BPSCCO and their Nb-doped samples having general formula Bi1−xNbxPbSr2CaCu2O8, where x = 0.1, 0.2, 0.4 and 0.6 mole, respectively, at moderate oxygen pressure (∼30 bar). The superconducting measurements proved that the best recorded Tc  69 K was for the undoped 2212-BPSCCO, while the lowest Tc  58 K was recorded for the maximum doped sample x = 0.6 mole indicating that superconductive transition temperatures Tcs decrease regularly with increasing Nb-dopant concentration from x = 0.1 to 0.6, respectively. The lattice parameter c exhibited a slight length compression as Nb-dopant ratio increases from 0.1 to 0.6 mole, respectively. From SE-microscopic analysis, the average grain size was estimated and found in between 0.44 and 1.6 μm which is considered relatively high to that reported in the literature. The measured Jc’s values were found to be enhanced remarkably as Nb-dopant concentration increases.  相似文献

A series of Gd2Zr2O7 (GZO) single buffer layers with different thicknesses were epitaxially grown on highly textured Ni–5 at.% W tapes using pulsed laser deposition. These allow the subsequent growth of high-quality superconducting YBa2Cu3O7?δ layers. The superconducting transition temperature Tc reaches a maximum value of 92.4 K as well as a narrow transition width of 0.8 K for the optimized GZO layer thickness. The inductive measurements show the critical current density as high as 1.2 MA/cm2 at 77 K in self-field, indicating that a GZO single buffer layer is a suitable alternative for simplifying the second generation high Tc superconducting coated conductors architecture.  相似文献

Pt doped 122 iron arsenide SrFe1?xPtxAs2 (0 ? x ? 0.4) was successfully synthesized. The tetragonal unit-cell volume and the lattice constant a increase with increasing the Pt content, while c decreases, suggesting that the Fe ions are indeed replaced by Pt ions. By the Pt doping, the magnetic order of the parent phase is suppressed, and superconductivity emerges at approximately x = 0.15. Tc reaches the maximum of 16 K at x = 0.2. The compounds series can be a suitable subject to investigate role of the doped 5d state in the superconducting 3d Fe–As layer.  相似文献

We discovered two new classes of superconductors in the course of material exploration for electronic-active oxides. One is 12CaO · 7Al2O3 crystal in which electrons accomodate in the crystallographic sub-nanometer-sized cavities. This material exhibiting metal–superconductor transition at 0.2 K is the first electride superconductor. The other is iron oxypnicitides with a layered structure. This superconductor is rather different from high Tc cuprates in several respects. The high Tc is emerged by doping carriers to the metallic parent phases which undergo crystallographic transition (tetra to ortho) and Pauli para to antiferromagnetic transition at ~150 K. The Tc is robust to impurity doping to the Fe sites or is induced by partial substitution of the Fe2+ sites with Co2+ or Ni2+. This article gives a brief summary of these discoveries and recent advances.  相似文献

We report the achievement of transport critical currents in Sr0.6K0.4Fe2As2 wires and tapes with a Tc = 34 K. The wires and tapes were fabricated through an in situ powder-in-tube process. Silver was used as a chemical addition as well as a sheath material. All the wire and tape samples have shown the ability to transport superconducting current. Critical current density Jc was enhanced upon silver addition, and at 4.2 K, a largest Jc of ~1200 A/cm2 (Ic = 9 A) was achieved for 20% silver added tapes, which is the highest in iron-based wires and tapes so far. The Jc is almost field independent between 1 T and 10 T, exhibiting a strong vortex pinning. Such a high transport critical current density is attributed to the weak reaction between the silver sheath and the superconducting core, as well as an improved connectivity between grains. We also identify a weak-link behavior from the apparent drop of Jc at low fields and a hysteretic phenomenon. Finally, we found that compared to Fe, Ta and Nb tubes, Ag was the best sheath material for the fabrication of high-performance 122 type pnictide wires and tapes.  相似文献

Artificially stacked structures of [(infinite layer CaCuO2)k/(superconducting (Cu, C)Ba2CuOx:(Cu, C)-1201)l]m were fabricated on SrCuO2 buffer layer by means of sequential deposition of each block using pulsed laser deposition. Smooth and epitaxial growth all over the deposition cycles of (Cu, C)-1201 and CaCuO2 were confirmed by streak patterns of in situ RHEED. In comparison with (Cu, C)-1201 single layer films, the artificial stacking resulted in a rise of superconducting properties, Tc-onset and Tc(ρ=0) up to 95 K and 65 K, respectively.  相似文献

We report the superconducting properties of the pyrochlore oxide Cd2Re2O7. The bulk superconducting transition temperature Tc is about 1.0 K, and the upper critical field Hc2 determined by the measurement of specific heat under magnetic fields is 0.29 T. The superconducting coherence length is estimated to be 34 nm. Specific heat data measured on single crystals suggest that the superconducting gap of Cd2Re2O7 is nodeless.  相似文献

We present results of transport and magnetic properties measurements performed on polycrystalline NdFe0.9Rh0.1AsO. Despite the large size difference between Fe and Rh elements, this compound undergoes a superconducting transition with Tc  15 K. We have compared the transport properties of this Rh-doped oxypnictide with that of optimally doped NdFeAsO0.88F0.12. Contrary to this latter compound, a strong upturn of the normal-state resistivity occurs above Tc, and no peak of the thermopower has been observed.  相似文献

A review of high pressure studies on Fe-pnictide superconductors is given. The pressure effects on the magnetic and superconducting transitions are discussed for different classes of doped and undoped FeAs-compounds: ROFeAs (R = rare-earth), AeFe2As2 (Ae = Ca, Sr, Ba), and AFeAs (A = Li, Na). Pressure tends to decrease the magnetic transition temperature in the undoped or only slightly doped compounds. The superconducting Tc increases with low pressure for underdoped FeAs-pnictides, remains approximately constant for optimal doping, and decreases linearly in the overdoped range. The undoped LaOFeAs and AeFe2As2 become superconducting under pressure although non-hydrostatic pressure condition seems to play a role in CaFe2As2. The superconductivity in the (undoped) AFeAs is explained as a chemical pressure effect due to the volume contraction caused by the small ionic size of the A-elements. The binary FeSe shows the largest pressure coefficient of Tc in the Se-deficient superconducting phase.  相似文献

BaFe2As2 is the parent compound of the ‘122’ iron arsenide superconductors and crystallizes with the tetragonal ThCr2Si2-type structure, space group I4/mmm. A spin-density-wave transition at 140 K is accompanied by a symmetry reduction to space group Fmmm and simultaneously by antiferromagnetic ordering. Hole-doping induces superconductivity in Ba1?xKxFe2As2 with a maximum Tc of 38 K at x  0.4. The upper critical fields approach 75 T with rather small anisotropy of Hc2. At low potassium concentrations (x ? 0.2), superconductivity apparently co-exists with the orthorhombically distorted and magnetically ordered phase. At doping levels x ? 0.3, the structural distortion and antiferromagnetic ordering is completely suppressed and the Tc is maximized. No magnetically ordered domains could be detected in optimally doped Ba1?xKxFe2As2 (x ? 0.3) by 57Fe Mössbauer spectroscopy in contrast μSR results obtained with single crystals. The magnetic hyperfine interactions investigated by 57Fe Mössbauer spectroscopy are discussed and compared to the ZrCuSiAs-type materials.  相似文献

A brief review of optical and Raman studies on the Fe-based superconductors is given, with special emphasis on the competing phenomenon in this system. Optical investigations on ReFeAsO (Re = rare-earth element) and AFe2As2 (A = alkaline-earth metal) families provide clear evidence for the gap formation in the broken symmetry states, including the partial gaps in the spin-density wave states of parent compounds, and the pairing gaps in the superconducting states for doped compounds. Especially, the superconducting gap has an s-wave pairing lineshape in hole-doped BaFe2As2. Optical phonons at zone center detected by Raman and infrared techniques are classified for several Fe-based compounds. Related issues, such as the electron–phonon coupling and the effect of spin-density wave and superconducting transitions on phonons, are also discussed. Meanwhile, open questions including the T-dependent mid-infrared peak at 0.6–0.7 eV, electronic correlation, and the similarities/differences between high-Tc cuprates and Fe-based superconductors are also briefly discussed. Important results from other experimental probes are compared with optical data to better understand the spin-density wave properties, the superconductivity, and the multi-band character in Fe-based compounds.  相似文献

We calculate Tc map in region of weak electron–phonon coupling based on simple phonon spectrum. By using linear-response method and density functional theory, we calculate phonon spectra and Eliashberg functions of simple metals under pressure. Based on the evolutions of superconducting parameters of simple metals on the Tc map with increasing pressure, we find that there are two different responses to pressure for simple metals: (1) enhancing electron–phonon interaction λ such as for La and Li, (2) increasing phonon frequency such as for Pb, Pt. The λ threshold effect is found, which origins from the competition between electron–phonon interaction and electron–electron Coulomb interaction and is the reason why Tc of most superconductors of simple metals are higher than 0.1 K.  相似文献

We review neutron scattering investigations of the crystal structures, magnetic structures, and spin dynamics of the iron-based RFe(As, P)(O, F) (R = La, Ce, Pr, Nd), (Ba,Sr,Ca)Fe2As2, and Fe1+x(Te–Se) systems. On cooling from room temperature all the undoped materials exhibit universal behavior, where a tetragonal-to-orthorhombic/monoclinic structural transition occurs, below which the systems become antiferromagnets. For the first two classes of materials the magnetic structure within the ab plane consists of chains of parallel Fe spins that are coupled antiferromagnetically in the orthogonal direction, with an ordered moment typically less than one Bohr magneton. Hence these are itinerant electron magnets, with a spin structure that is consistent with Fermi-surface nesting and a very energetic spin wave bandwidth ~0.2 eV. With doping, the structural and magnetic transitions are suppressed in favor of superconductivity, with superconducting transition temperatures up to ≈55 K. Magnetic correlations are observed in the superconducting regime, with a magnetic resonance that follows the superconducting order parameter just like the cuprates. The rare earth moments order antiferromagnetically at low T like ‘conventional’ magnetic superconductors, while the Ce crystal field linewidths are affected when superconductivity sets in. The application of pressure in CaFe2As2 transforms the system from a magnetically ordered orthorhombic material to a ‘collapsed’ non-magnetic tetragonal system. Tetragonal Fe1+xTe transforms to a low T monoclinic structure at small x that changes to orthorhombic at larger x, which is accompanied by a crossover from commensurate to incommensurate magnetic order. Se doping suppresses the magnetic order, while incommensurate magnetic correlations are observed in the superconducting regime.  相似文献
