A new three-dimensional thallium(I) supramolecular polymer, [Tl2(μ2-ATA)]n (1), [H2ATA = 2-aminoterephthalic acid], has been synthesized and characterized. The single-crystal X-ray data of compound 1 shows one type of TlI ion with a low coordination number. Compound 1 was self-assembled from Tl⋯C, Tl⋯O and Tl⋯N secondary interactions in thallium(I) coordination and the active lone pair on TlI in this compound may be involved in donor bonding. Two sides of the aromatic ring of ATA2− anion have been involved in two types of secondary Tl⋯C approaches. Three samples of 1 were synthesized with three different concentrations of initial reagents under ultrasonic irradiation. The thermal stability of compound 1 samples were studied by thermo gravimetric (TG) and differential thermal analyses (DTA). These nano-structures were characterized by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM).  相似文献

The orientation parameter A10 and the alignment parameter A20 have been calculated for the single photoionization of the closed-shell cations Na+, Al+, K+, Cu+, Ga+, Rb+, Ag+, In+, Cs+, Au+, Tl+ and Fr+ where all possible vacancies from 2p1/2 up to 6p3/2 have been investigated. The calculations have been performed by employing a relaxed-orbital method within a single-configurational Hartree–Fock approach where mass–velocity and Darwin corrections have been incorporated into the non-relativistic approach. To cover the range of a possibly occurring Cooper minimum kinetic energies of the emitted photoelectron up to at least 20 Ry (≈ 272 eV) have been considered. The results are compared with the orientation and alignment parameters of the respective singly photoionized isoelectronic atoms to underline differences in the strength of repulsive barriers and in the energetic position of shape resonances and Cooper minima.  相似文献

The luminescence kinetics of CsI(Tl) exposed to an electron pulse irradiation (Ee = 250 keV, t1/2 = 10 ns, j = 2 ÷ 160 mJ/cm2) has been studied. It has been discovered that the slow emission rise is due to hole Vk–Tl0 recombination luminescence at temperature from 100 to 160 K and electron–VkA recombination, where electrons released from single Tl0 at temperature from 180 to 300 K. The effect of Tl concentration on both processes has been investigated.  相似文献

Magnetic and dielectric properties have been investigated for Bi2CuO4, which has the same chemical formula as that of the parent materials of cuprate superconductors R2CuO4 (R: rare earths). Magnetization measurements show the antiferromagnetic transition of the Cu2+ spins at ~42 K, as reported previously. Dielectric measurements for the frequencies of 1 kHz to 1 MHz show that the dielectric constants are 100–500 at room temperature. The dielectric dispersion reveals that the dielectric response lacks spatial coherence, a property which indicates the possible existence of phase separation as suggested for La2CuO4. The imaginary part of dielectric response gives the activation energy of 0.22 eV, suggesting that the dielectric response is governed by the electron hopping between the Cu ions.  相似文献

We present a detailed analysis of the electronic and geometric bonding properties of the model alkene ethene on different mono- and bimetallic surfaces to establish the difference between adsorption energy and interaction energy and to elucidate the chemical character of a single platinum atom in different chemical environments. The adsorption of ethene on Pt(1 1 1) at 100 K leads to two adsorption states, which are commonly described as being of di-σ-type (bidentate, μ2η2) and π-type (monodentate, μ1η2). While the later is the minority species on Pt(1 1 1) it is of larger abundance on the platinum alloys. We have chosen π-bonded ethene for our study since it can be found on Pt(1 1 1), the Pt3Sn and Pt2Sn surface alloys, and Cu3Pt(1 1 1). Density functional theory calculations of the adsorption structures, site and decomposed densities of states, as well as partial charge densities in conjunction with vibrational spectroscopy show that the bonding, i.e. the interaction energy, of the π ethene is only weakly influenced by alloying. Even in a copper matrix – as in the case of Cu3Pt(1 1 1) – the bonding platinum atom essentially keeps its chemical identity and the interaction energy is reduced by only 14% compared to Pt(1 1 1). This observation suggests that bonding on surfaces is a strongly localized phenomenon. However, the adsorption energy decreases significantly due to alloying, which is attributed to the varying local relaxation of the different metal surfaces.  相似文献

Tri block-copolymer poly(iminoethylene)-b-poly(oxyethylene)-b-poly(iminoethylene) with a poly(oxyethylene) central block (PEI-b-PEO-b-PEI) were used as a “dual” matrix for polymer electrolytes having selectivity for hard cations (Li+/PEO) in one phase and for soft cations (Cu2+/PEI) in the other. Conductivity measurements were recorded for 20:1, 12:1 and 8:1 coordinating atom (O or/and N) to cation (Li+, Cu2+) ratios, for each of the three complexes studied: PEI-b-PEO-LiTFSI-b-PEI, PEI-Cu(TFSI)2-b-PEO-b-PEI-Cu(TFSI)2 and PEI-Cu(TFSI)2-b-PEO-LiTFSI-b-PEI-Cu(TFSI)2. For either low (20 °C) or high temperature (80 °C) the highest conductivity was given by the polymer electrolyte based on Cu(TFSI)2 with N/Cu2+ = 20:1 (10 6, respectively 2 × 10 4 S cm 1). In the present paper, the conductivity evolution is discussed in relation with the polymer structure, the type and the concentration of the salt and the thermal behavior of our systems.  相似文献

An intercomparison of Fluctuation Induced Conductivity (FIC) of Cu0.5Tl0.5Ba2Can?1CunO2n+4?y (n = 2, 3, 4) [CuTl-12(n ? 1)n] superconductor thin films is given. We tried to find any correlation between the critical temperature and the parameters extracted from the excess conductivity data i.e. cross-over temperature, pseudogap temperature and fluctuation amplitudes. We found that the critical temperature seems to depend on the fluctuation amplitude; greater the fluctuation amplitude higher is the critical temperature.  相似文献

Substitution of Ge4+ in place of Cu in Tl0.85Cr0.15Sr2CaCu2?xGexO7?δ (x = 0–0.6) showed initial increase in zero critical temperature value, Tc zero from 98 K (x = 0) to 100 K (x = 0.1) and in the range of 85–86 K for x = 0.2–0.3. The slow decrease in Tc zero is unexpected as tetravalent Ge4+ substitution is expected to strongly reduce hole concentration in the samples and suppress Tc zero. Excess conductivity analyses of resistance versus temperature data based on Asmalazov–Larkin (AL) theory revealed that the substitution induced 2D-to-3D transition of fluctuation induced conductivity with the highest transition temperature, T2D3D observed at x = 0.1. FTIR spectroscopy analysis indicates Ge4+ substitution cause reduction in CuO2/GeO2 interplanar distance while our calculation based on Lawrence–Doniach model revealed highest superconducting coherence length, ξc(0) and interplanar coupling, J at x = 0.3. On the other hand, substitution of divalent Mg2+ for Ca2+ in (Tl0.5Pb0.5)(Sr1.8Yb0.2)(Ca1?yMgy)Cu2O7 (y = 0–1.0), which is not expected to directly vary hole concentration, surprisingly caused Tc zero to increase from 89.6 K (y = 0) to an optimum value of 95.9 K (y = 0.6) before decreasing with further increase in y. Excess conductivity analyses showed 2D-to-3D transition of fluctuation induced conductivity for all samples where the highest T2D3D was at y = 0.4. Similar calculation revealed highest values of ξc(0) and J also at y = 0.4. FTIR analysis of the samples indicates inequivalent Cu(1)O(2)Pb/Tl lengths and possible tilting of CuO2 plane as a result of Mg2+ substitution. The increased ξc(0) and J as a result of the Ge4+ and Mg2+ substitutions are suggested to contributed to sustenance of superconductivity above 80 K in the samples.  相似文献

Chemical interactions between the Ba2YCu3O6+x superconductor and the LaMnO3 buffer layers employed in coated conductors have been investigated experimentally by determining the phases formed in the Ba2YCu3O6+x–LaMnO3 system. The Ba2YCu3O6+x–LaMnO3 join within the BaO–(Y2O3–La2O3)–MnO2–CuOx multi-component system is non-binary. At 810 °C (pO2 = 100 Pa) and at 950 °C in purified air, four phases are consistently present along the join, namely, Ba2?x(La1+x?yYy)Cu3O6+z, Ba(Y2?xLax)CuO5, (La1?xYx)MnO3, (La,Y)Mn2O5. The crystal chemistry and crystallography of Ba(Y2?xLax)CuO5 and (La1?xYx)Mn2O5 were studied using the X-ray Rietveld refinement technique. The Y-rich and La-rich solid solution limits for Ba(Y2?xLax)CuO5 are Ba(Y1.8La0.2)CuO5 and Ba(Y0.1La1.9)CuO5, respectively. The structure of Ba(Y1.8La0.2)CuO5 is Pnma (No. 62), a = 12.2161(5) Å, b = 5.6690(2) Å, c = 7.1468(3) Å, V = 494.94(4) Å3, and Dx = 6.29 g cm?3. YMn2O5 and LaMn2O5 do not form solid solution at 810 °C (pO2 = 100 Pa) or at 950 °C (in air). The structure of YMn2O5 was confirmed to be Pbam (No. 55), a = 7.27832(14) Å, b = 8.46707(14) Å, c = 5.66495(10) Å, and V = 349.108(14) Å3. A reference X-ray pattern was prepared for YMn2O5.  相似文献

205Tl-NMR in Tl2Ba2Can-1CunO8?δ for differentn and δ is reviewed. Forn=2,3 the205Tl spectra consist of two lines. The main line arises from Tl(1) in the TlO-layer whereas the defect line belongs to Tl(2) in the Ca-layers between the CuO2-layers. The temperature dependent Knight shift of the Tl(2) (defect) line is caused by the hyperfine interaction with the CuO2-layer and is strongly related to the oxygen content of the sample. We find quasipartticle behavior for the T1(2) line similar to the89Y Knight shift in the YBa2Cu3O6+δ system. In contrast the T1(1) line shows strong antiferromagnetic correlations with indication of pseudo spin gap opening above the superconducting transition temperatureT c.  相似文献

Transport properties of (Cu, C)Ba2CuOx [(Cu, C)-1201] thin films have been characterized by in situ temperature dependence of resistivity, without breaking vacuum from the deposition to the measurement. In in situ transport properties measurements, the obtained results reveal that (Cu, C)Ba2CuOx films exhibit Tc > 20 K on the cased of conductivity at 290 K (σ[290 K]) > 4 × 102 S/cm and temperature coefficient of resistivity (TCR) > 1.5 × 10?3 K?1, and doping level of them should be in between under-doped and optimally-doped states. Their results suggest that there would be possible to further increases of Tc, and XPS data suggest that (Cu, C)-system should have the excellent dopability in their charge reservoir and the possibility of low anisotropy.  相似文献

This paper reports the visible luminescence properties of 1D2 state of Tm3 + -doped lead borate titanate aluminumfluoride (LBTAFTm) glasses. The absorption and luminescence was analyzed within the frame work of Judd-Ofelt model. The reliability of J-O intensity parameters obtained from the experimental oscillator strengths have satisfactorily been correlated with the calculated oscillator strengths with small r.m.s deviation of ± 0.12 × 10-6 by the least square fit analysis. Upon 359 nm excitation, the luminescence spectra show only one emission band at 458 nm (blue) corresponding to the 1D2  3 F4 transition in the spectral region 400–500 nm. No luminescence quenching has been observed with the increase of Tm3 + concentration. The decay profiles of the 1D2 level have shown single-exponential nature for all the concentrations and the decay times were found to decrease with the increase of concentration. The stimulated emission cross-section (σe) for the observed emission transition has also been computed. The large quantum efficiency (η) of the 1D2 level suggests the utility of LBTAFTm glass as a potential host for optical device applications at 458 nm emission wavelength.  相似文献

Cd0.9−xZn0.1CuxS (0≤x≤0.06) nanoparticles were successfully synthesized by a conventional chemical co-precipitation method at room temperature. Crystalline phases and optical absorption of the nanoparticles have been studied by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and UV–visible spectrophotometer. XRD confirms the phase singularity of the synthesized material, which also confirmed the formation of Cd–Zn–Cu–S alloy nanocrystals rather than separate nucleation or phase formation. Elemental composition was examined by the energy dispersive X-ray analysis and the microstructure was examined by scanning electron microscope. The blue shift of absorption edge below Cu=2% is responsible for dominance of Cu+ while at higher Cu concentration dominated Cu2+, d–d transition may exist. It is suggested that the addition of third metal ion (Cu2+/Cu+) is an effective way to improve the optical property and stability of the Cd0.9Zn0.1S solid solutions. When Cu is introduced, stretching of Cd–Zn–Cu–S bond is shifted lower wave number side from 678 cm−1 (Cu=0%) to 671 cm−1 (Cu=6%) due to the presence of Cu in Cd–Zn–S lattice and also the size effect. The variation in blue band emission peak from 456 nm (∼2.72 eV) to 482 nm (∼2.58 eV) by Cu-doping is corresponding to the inter-band radiation combination of photo-generated electrons and holes. Intensity of red band emission centered at 656 nm significantly increased up to Cu=4%; beyond 4% it is decreased due to the quenching of Cu concentration.  相似文献

M2Mn3O8 (M = Ca2+, Cu2+) compounds were synthesized and characterized in lithium cells. The M2+ cations, which reside in the van der Waals gaps between adjacent sheets of Mn3O84−, may be replaced chemically (by ion-exchange) or electrochemically with Li. More than 7 Li+/Cu2Mn3O8 may be inserted electrochemically, with concomitant reduction of Cu2+ to Cu metal, but less Li can be inserted into Ca2Mn3O8. In the case of Cu2+, this process is partially reversible when the cell is charged above 3.5 V vs. Li, but intercalation of Cu+ rather than Cu2+ and Li+/Cu+ exchange occurs during the subsequent discharge. If the cell potential is kept below 3.4 V, the Li in excess of 4 Li+/Cu2Mn3O8 can be cycled reversibly. The unusual mobility of + 2 cations in a layered structure has important implications both for the design of cathodes for Li batteries and for new systems that could be based on M2+ intercalation compounds.  相似文献

A systematic study of the weak link behaviour for (Cu0.5Tl0.5?xKx)Ba2Ca2Cu3O10?δ (x = 0, 0.25) superconductors samples has been carried out using electrical resistivity and AC-susceptibility techniques. The K-doped (Cu0.5Tl0.5?xKx)Ba2Ca2Cu3O10?δ samples were synthesized by solid-state reaction method. In magnetic susceptibility measurements, the real (χ′) and imaginary (χ″) parts of the magnetic susceptibility of (Cu0.5Tl0.5?xKx)Ba2Ca2Cu3O10?δ (x = 0, 0.25) samples were measured as a function of temperature under various DC-magnetic fields up to 172 Oe. It is observed from these studies that the magnitude of the diamagnetism is substantially enhanced by K-doping. The possible reasons for the enhanced magnitude of diamagnetism have been investigated. It is observed from in-field magnetic measurements that the inter-grain coupling is improved with the K-doping. It is concluded from these studies that potassium atoms appearing at the crystal boundaries enhance inter-grain coupling and pinning mechanism in K-doped (Cu0.5Tl0.25K0.25)Ba2Ca2Cu3O10?δ superconductors.  相似文献

The internal friction of partially Sr-substituted Pr(Ba1?xSrx)2Cu3O7?δ (x = 0, 0.05, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, and 0.4) ceramics was measured by the vibrating-reed method from liquid nitrogen temperature to room temperature at kilohertz frequencies. The intensity of the internal friction peak, which appears around 250 K, decreases upon Sr doping. The result is explained in terms of a possible combining structural freezing transition of CuO5 square pyramids and oxygen atoms in CuOx chains. Another internal friction peak around 134 K was observed in tetragonal Pr(Ba0.6Sr0.4)2Cu3O7?δ which is temporarily explained by the hopping of holes in the CuO2 layers.  相似文献

A near-IR laser absorption spectrometer using a technique of wavelength modulation spectroscopy is used to measure stable carbon isotope ratios of ambient CO213C) via the absorption lines 12CO2 R(17) (2ν1 + ν12  ν12 + ν3) at 4978.205 cm−1 and 13CO2 P(16) (ν1 + 2ν2 + ν3) at 4978.023 cm−1. The isotope ratios are measured with a reproducibility of 0.02‰ (1σ) in a 130-s integration time over a 12-h period. The humidity effect on δ13C values has been evaluated in laboratory experiments. The δ13C values of CO2 in ambient air were measured continuously over 8 days and agreed well with those from isotope ratio mass spectrometry of canister samples. The spectrometer is thus capable of real-time, in situ measurements of stable carbon isotope ratios of CO2 under ambient conditions.  相似文献

A brief overview of previously obtained and novel data on the manifestations of an analogue of Franck–Hertz effect in photo- and cathodoluminescence of wide-gap inorganic materials is presented. On the example of NaCl:Tl+ and MgO:Cr3+ single crystals, the excitation processes of the luminescence of 6s2 Tl+ ions and 3d3 Cr3+ ions by 5–15 keV electrons or 5–20 eV photons at 6–420 K have been studied. The rapid processes of the direct energy transfer to Tl+ by hot conduction electrons or to Cr3+ centers by hot electrons and/or hot valence holes have been separated from rapid excitonic and more inertial electron–hole processes.  相似文献

Densities and viscosities of ternary mixtures of 2-pyrrolidone + 1,2-propanediol + water and corresponding binary mixtures of 1,2-propanediol + water, 2-pyrrolidone + water and 2-pyrrolidone + 1,2-propanediol have been measured over the whole composition range at 313.15 K. From the obtained data, the excess molar volumes (VE), the deviations in viscosity (Δη) and the excess Gibbs free energy of activation (ΔG?E) have been calculated. The VE, Δη and ΔG?E results were correlated and fitted by the Redlich–Kister equation for binary mixtures and by the Cibulka equation for ternary mixtures, as a function of mole fraction. Several predictive empirical relations were applied to predict the excess molar volumes of ternary mixtures from the binary mixing data.  相似文献
