Functionalized 6-substituted-thiosalicylates are key intermediates for the synthesis of pyrimidinyl(thio)salicylic acids, a group of important herbicides targeting plant acetohydroxyacid synthase. Therefore, it is of great interest to develop an efficient method for the syntheses of 6-substituted-thiosalicylates. Herein, we have developed a direct and efficient method for the synthesis of functionalized 6-substituted-thiosalicylates (4) from aryl iodide (1) by using an improved microwave-assisted Suzuki cross-coupling reaction. Almost all the reactions proceeded smoothly and afforded moderate to excellent yields of products. Moreover, this protocol is obviously superior to the traditional available methods and could be utilized to synthesize pyrimidinyl(thio)salicylic acid and its derivatives.  相似文献

Porous curved polycyclic aromatic compounds 6 and 14 bearing a tribenzotriquinacene (TBTQ) core encircled by an m,p,p,m,m,p,p,m,m,p,p,m‐cyclododecaphenylene belt were synthesized and characterized by NMR spectroscopy and mass spectrometry. These trefoil hydrocarbon macrocycles were constructed in high yield using an intramolecular three‐fold Scholl macrocyclization. X‐ray crystal analysis of 14 demonstrated a large wizard‐hat‐shaped structure with three pores (radii 2.9–3.0 Å). The π‐stacking aggregation of the hexa‐n‐dodecyloxy derivative 6 a and the chloride anion binding properties of 14 were studied by NMR spectroscopy. Such stacking and anion binding properties were much weaker in the singly 11 and doubly macrocyclized products 12 .  相似文献

A convenient synthetic pathway to β-aryl substituted isotetronic acid derivatives was developed via Suzuki cross-coupling of the corresponding β-bromo substituted isotetronic acid derivatives with arylboronic acids under palladium acetate catalysis. A series of arylstannanes have been synthesized, through an SRN1 mechanism, in good to excellent yields (74%-99%) by the photostimulated reaction of trimethyl stannyl ion with substrates supporting different nucleofugal groups. The arylstannanes thus obtained were suitable intermediates for Stille cross-coupling reactions leading to asymmetric bi- and triaryl compounds in acceptable global yields. An attractive feature of this route is that simple commercially available benzenediols, chloro- and methoxy phenols might be useful starting substrates, leading the latter to higher global yields of products in fewer steps. The strategies proposed open a broad synthetic tool.  相似文献

A straightforward method was developed for construction of aromatic compounds with a triphenylene core. The method involves Pd‐catalyzed annulative dimerization of o‐iodobiaryl compounds by double C?I and C?H bond cleavage steps. Simple reaction conditions are needed, requiring neither a ligand nor an oxidant, and the reaction tolerates a wide range of coupling partners without compromising efficiency or scalability. Significantly, the tetrachloro‐substituted synthon, 1,6,11‐trichloro‐4‐(4‐chlorophenyl)triphenylene, can be generated and used to prepare a series of fully fused, small graphene nanoribbons by a late‐stage arylation with arylboronic acids and a subsequent Scholl reaction. The synthetic strategy enables bottom‐up access to extended π‐systems in a controlled manner.  相似文献
