The Drude weight is a central quantity for the transport properties of quantum spin chains. The canonical definition of Drude weight is directly related to Kubo formula of conductivity. However, the difficulty in the evaluation of such expression has led to several alternative formulations, accessible to different methods. In particular, the Euclidean, or imaginary-time, Drude weight can be studied via rigorous renormalization group. As a result, in the past years several universality results have been proven for such quantity at zero temperature; remarkably, the proofs work for both integrable and non-integrable quantum spin chains. Here we establish the equivalence of Euclidean and canonical Drude weights at zero temperature. Our proof is based on rigorous renormalization group methods, Ward identities, and complex analytic ideas.

We discuss the conditions where a charged particle that was originally revolving around a weakly magnetized black hole containing cosmic string in the innermost stable circular orbit will escape to infinity after it is kicked by another particle or photon. We find that the motion of the kicked particle is chaotic. The critical escape energy and velocity of the kicked charged particle with different initial radial velocities are obtained.

We study the entropy of the Gibbons-Maeda-Garfinkle-Horowitz-Strominger (GMGHS) charged black hole, originated from the effective action thatemerges in the low-energy of string theory, beyond semiclassical approximations. Applying the properties of exact differentials for three variables to the first law thermodynamics we derive the quantum correctionsto the entropy of the black hole. The leading (logarithmic) and non leading corrections to the area law are obtained.

In this contribution, we review long-range integrable spin chains that originate from the recently discovered integrability in the planar AdS/CFT correspondence. We also briefly summarise the theory of generic integrable perturbatively long-range spin chains.

In this paper we investigate the large deviation principle (LDP) for spin particle systems with possibly vanishing flip rates. The situation turns out to be much more complicated if the flip rates are allowed to be zero than the one considered by Dai, where the systems are assumed to have strictly positive flip rates. The upper and lower large-deviation bounds are studied, respectively. The two governing rate functions are compared and a variational principle is given. We then apply the results to obtain some new large-deviation estimates for the occupation times of attractive systems. In particular, we prove a strong form of exponential convergence for ergodic systems.

A construction of relativistic wave equations on the homogeneous spaces of the Poincaré group is given for arbitrary spin chains. Parametrizations of the field functions and harmonic analysis on the homogeneous spaces are studied. It is shown that a direct product of Minkowski space time and two-dimensional complex sphere is the most suitable homogeneous space for the physical applications. The Lagrangian formalism and field equations on the Poincaré and Lorentz groups are considered. A boundary value problem for the relativistically invariant system is defined. General solutions of this problem are expressed via an expansion in hyperspherical functions defined on the complex two-sphere. PACS numbers: 02.30.Gp, 02.60.Lj, 03.65.Pm, 12.20.-m  相似文献

In this paper we investigate the scattering of massless Dirac wave from several different black hole spacetimes(i.e. the Schwarzschild black hole, the RN extremal black hole, the Schwarzschild de Sitter black hole, and the extremal Schwarzschild de Sitter black hole) which are influenced by the cosmic string, respectively. All these cases show us that the total absorption cross sections oscillate around the geometric-optical limit and decrease with linear mass density μof the cosmic string. All of the total scattering cross sections exhibit that the main scattering angle becomes narrower for the high partial frequency wave. Due to the influence of cosmic string, the glory peak becomes wider for larger values of linear mass density μ of the cosmic string.

We give a characterization of the class of gapped Hamiltonians introduced in Part I (Ogata, A class of asymmetric gapped Hamiltonians on quantum spin chains and its classification I, 2015). The Hamiltonians in this class are given as MPS (Matrix product state) Hamiltonians. In Ogata (A class of asymmetric gapped Hamiltonians on quantum spin chains and its classification I, 2015), we list up properties of ground state structures of Hamiltonians in this class. In this Part II, we show the converse. Namely, if a (not necessarily MPS) Hamiltonian H satisfies five of the listed properties, there is a Hamiltonian H′ from the class by Ogata (A class of asymmetric gapped Hamiltonians on quantum spin chains and its classification I, 2015), satisfying the following: The ground state spaces of the two Hamiltonians on the infinite interval coincide. The spectral projections onto the ground state space of H on each finite intervals are approximated by that of H′ exponentially well, with respect to the interval size. The latter property has an application to the classification problem with open boundary conditions.

We introduce a class of gapped Hamiltonians on quantum spin chains, which allows asymmetric edge ground states. This class is an asymmetric generalization of the class of Hamiltonians (Fannes et al. Commun Math Phys 144:443–490, 1992). It can be characterized by five qualitative physical properties of ground state structures. In this Part I, we introduce the models and investigate their properties.

Based on the solution to the Bargmann-Wigner equations, a direct derivation of the projection operator and Feynman propagator for a free massive particle of arbitrary spin is worked out. The projection operator constructed by Behrends and Fronsdal is re-deduced and confirmed, and simplified in the case of half-integral spin, the general commutation rules and Feynman propagator with additional non-covariant terms for a free massive particle with any spin are derived, and explicit expressions for the propagators for spins 3/2, 2, 5/2, 3, 7/2, and 4 are provided.

In this chapter of Review of AdS/CFT Integrability we introduce ${\mathcal{N}=4}$ Super Yang-Mills. We discuss the global superalagebra PSU(2, 2|4) and its action on gauge invariant operators. We then discuss the computation of the correlators of certain gauge invariant operators, the so-called single trace operators in the large N limit. We show that interactions in the gauge theory lead to mixing of the operators. We compute this mixing at the one-loop level and show that the problem maps to a one-dimensional spin chain with nearest neighbor interactions. For operators in the SU(2) sector we show that the spin chain is the ferromagnetic Heisenberg spin chain whose eigenvalues are determined by the Bethe equations.
