The effect of magnetic field on electron energy spectrum, wave functions and probabilities of intraband quantum transitions in multilayered spherical quantum-dot-quantum-well (QDQW) CdSe/ZnS/CdSe/ZnS is studied. Computations are performed in the framework of the effective mass approximation and rectangular potential barriers model. The wave functions are expanded over the complete basis of functions obtained as exact solutions of the Schrodinger equation for the electron in QDQW without the magnetic field.It is shown that magnetic field takes off the spectrum degeneration with respect to the magnetic quantum number and changes the localization of electron in the nanostructure. The field stronger effects on the spherically-symmetric states, especially in the case of electron location in the outer potential well. The magnetic field changes more the radial distribution of probability of electron location in QDQW than the angular one. The oscillator strengths of intraband quantum transitions are calculated as functions of the magnetic field induction and their selection rules are established.  相似文献

The effects of Rashba spin-orbit coupling on the physical properties of a non-interacting two-dimensional electron gas (2DEG) in presence of a tilted magnetic field are investigated. The spin-orbit and Zeeman interactions depend on the intensity and direction of the external magnetic field and we study their influence on the physical properties of the system. We obtain the energy spectrum, the density of states, the Fermi energy, and we analyze the combined effect of the Zeeman and Rashba Spin-Orbit Interaction on the transport and thermodynamic properties.  相似文献

The expression for the electron wave function for a 3D crystal in a constant magnetic field is obtained in the strong coupling approximation. A 3D Harper-type equation describing the electron spectrum in magnetic 3D subbands is derived. The Fermi surfaces for monovalent noble metals are constructed for various orientations and magnitudes of magnetic fields corresponding to a rational number p/q of the magnetic flux quanta; radical changes in the topology of the Fermi surfaces in a strong magnetic field are observed. As a result, considerable changes in the physical properties of crystals in a strong magnetic field can be expected. In particular, a metal-semiconductor transition occurs for all even values of q, while metallic properties are preserved for odd values of q. The total energy of electrons as a function of the magnetic field is also calculated and shows a minimum for p/q=1/2. The type of thermodynamic oscillations in an ultrastrong magnetic field is discussed. The effects considered by the authors may be observed in fields with a strength of several tens of megagausses.  相似文献

In the experiences carried out on the capacitively excited high-frequency helium discharges at pressures of 10?3?10?2 Torr, a spectral line intensities redistribution in helium spectrum in function of applied steady magnetic field magnitude has been observed. The magnetic field application modifies also the plasma dispersive properties, which are reflected in the variable relative weight of the h.f. field harmonics. The experiences evidenced an electron temperature dependence on the relative h.f. harmonics intensities, confirming the previous researche conclusion concerning the electron temperature increase with the electric field frequency.  相似文献

The quantum states and energy spectrum of an electron in a rectangular step quantum well in a magnetic field parallel to the plane of two-dimensional electronic gas are investigated. It is shown that the joint effect of a magnetic field and confining potential of quantum well results in radical change of the electron energy spectrum. The energy dependencies on the parameters of the quantum well and magnetic field induction are investigated. Numerical calculations are carried out for an AlAs/ GaAlAs/ GaAs/ AlAs step quantum well.  相似文献

We study the energy spectrum and electronic properties of a two-dimensional (2D) spinless electron gas in a periodic magnetic field which has the symmetry of a triangular lattice. We show that the energy bands depend strongly on the value of the magnetic field. For large field the low-energy electrons are localized on closed rings where the magnetic field vanishes. This results in the appearance of persistent currents around these rings. We also calculate the intrinsic Hall conductivity, which is quantized when the Fermi level is in a gap.  相似文献

 采用单电子模型分析了电子在线极化激光驻波中的动力学及谐波自发辐射谱,数值计算了电子在驻波中的运动情况及辐射谱。结果表明:电子在波节和波腹处入射后,其辐射谱出现不同的特征;电子在波节处垂直磁场入射后,在洛伦兹力作用下快速振动并向前运动,其向后辐射的光谱发生红移,向前辐射的光谱发生蓝移,谱线出现展宽;当激光强度或者电子初始能量增大时,这些效应更加突出,以至于产生更高阶谐波,形成连续谱;而电子在波腹处以平行电场的方向入射后,仅在电场作用下作直线运动,其自发辐射谱线没有发生移动和展宽。  相似文献

We discuss the two-slit experiment and the Aharonov-Bohm (AB) experiment in the magnetic field. In such a case the electron moving in the magnetic field produces so called synchrotron radiation. In other words the photons are emitted from the points of the electron trajectory and it means that the trajectory of electron is visible in the synchrotron radiation spectrum. The axiomatic system of quantum mechanics does not enable to define the trajectory of the elementary particle. The two-slit experiment and AB experiment in a magnetic field was never performed and it means that they are the missing experiments of quantum mechanics. The extension of the discussion to the cosmical rays moving in the magnetic field of the Saturn magnetosphere and its rings is mentioned. It is related to the probe CASSINI. The solution of the problem in the framework of the hydrodynamical model of quantum mechanics and the nonlinear quantum mechanics is also mentioned.  相似文献

We analyze the influence of constant magnetic constituents on the radiation of high energy electrons in a planar undulator. Broadening and spectrum shift effect of the constant field is compared with other common spectrum distortions in UR sources. Analytical formulation of the effect of the constant magnetic field enables us to obtain and study exact expressions for the UR intensity. They reveal the possibilities to influence off-axis effects and give practical recommendations for the undulators with radiation properties, best profitable for free electron lasers. Several examples of undulators are considered, recommendations specific for each case are given.  相似文献

The excitation spectrum of a two-electron quantum dot is investigated by tunneling spectroscopy in conjunction with theoretical calculations. The dot made from a material with negligible Zeeman splitting has a moderate spatial anisotropy leading to a splitting of the two lowest triplet states at zero magnetic field. In addition to the well-known triplet excitation at zero magnetic field, two additional excited states are found at finite magnetic field. The lower one is identified as the second excited singlet state on the basis of an avoided crossing with the first excited singlet state at finite fields. The measured spectra are in remarkable agreement with exact-diagonalization calculations. The results prove the significance of electron correlations and suggest the formation of a state with Wigner-molecular properties at low magnetic fields.  相似文献

We have studied the interplay of Andreev reflection and cyclotron motion of quasiparticles at a superconductor-normal-metal interface with a strong magnetic field applied parallel to the interface. Bound states are formed due to the confinement introduced by both the external magnetic field and the superconducting gap. These bound states are a coherent superposition of electron and hole edge excitations similar to those realized in finite quantum-Hall samples. We find the energy spectrum for these Andreev edge states and calculate transport properties.  相似文献

用数值方法研究了拓扑绝缘体薄膜体系在外加垂直磁场 作用下其边缘态的性质. 磁场的加入通过耦合k+eA, 即Peierls势替换关系和 该作用导致的Zeeman交换场体现在哈密顿量中. 考虑窄条圆环状结构的二维InAs/GaSb/AlSb薄膜量子阱材料, 当其处于拓扑非平庸状态, 即量子自旋霍尔态时, 会出现受时间反演对称性保护的两支简并边缘态, 而在垂直磁场的作用下, 时间反演对称性被破坏, 这时能带将形成一条条的朗道能级, 原来简并的两支边缘态也会分开到朗道能级谱线的两侧, 从电子态密度的空间分布情况则可以看到边缘态分别局域在材料的两个边界. 随着磁场的增大, 位于同一边界上的不同 自旋极化的边缘态将出现分离: 一支仍然局域在边缘, 另一支则随外加磁场的增加而有逐渐演化到材料内部的趋势. 文中还计算了同一边界上的两支边缘态之间的散射, 结果表明由于两个边缘态在空间发生分离, 相互之间的散射被很大的压制, 得到了其散射随磁场增加没有明显变化的结论, 所以磁场并不会增强散射过程, 也没有破坏体拓扑材料的性质, 说明了量子自旋霍尔态在没有时间反演对称的情况下也可以有较强的稳定性.  相似文献

频谱噪声的抑制问题一直是磁控管的研究重点。对14叶片5.8 GHz磁控管进行了三维建模,包括阴极、叶片、隔膜带、极靴和输出天线等。使用冷腔模拟得到了模腔体频率5.86 GHz。热腔模拟计算得到7个电子轮辐,说明管子在模正常工作。在某种极靴结构下,计算得到腔体中存在一个近似二次曲线的非均匀磁场分布。在阳极电压4.5 kV、非均匀磁场中心值0.289 T时,模拟得到输出频率5.891 GHz,阳极电流1.55 A,输出功率4.9 kW,电子效率70.3%的结果。输出频谱比较干净,抑制了非模式的工作,提高了工作效率。  相似文献

A model is created for bilayer heterostructures in a strong magnetic field which makes it possible to neglect the Coulomb interaction. The thermodynamic instability of states of the electron system in a strong magnetic field leads to the formation of a periodic vortex lattice. The case is considered where the electron density is close to the density of the half-filled Landau level. An electron spectrum is found and an analog of the Cooper effect appearing under the Bogoliubov canonical transformation for electron Fermi operators is studied.  相似文献

The spectrum of magnetoplasma oscillations of a two-dimensional electron layer in a transversal magnetic field is studied under the condition that the electron system is unbounded along the layer plane and screened in the perpendicular direction. It is shown that under certain conditions oscillation frequencies much lower than the electron cyclotron frequency exist. Also the electromagnetic wave-guided oscillations in the system are described. It is shown that a strong magnetic field causes a frequency shift and splitting, depending inversely on the external magnetic field and the transversal specific dimension.  相似文献

为了揭示大气环境电子束等离子体的性质,基于蒙特卡罗程序包Geant4建立了一个包含电离、激发以及轫致辐射等物理过程的计算模型,用于模拟非均匀磁场约束条件下高能强流稳态电子束的输运特性、以及大气环境等离子体的性质。结果表明:非均匀磁场可以有效控制电子束在空气中的输运轨迹,显著降低电子束的发散;随着电子束在空气中行程的增加,电子束能谱开始展宽并向低能区移动;输运装置出口能量损失比电子束射程末端高2个量级,且随着电子束输运距离的增加,等离子体密度降低;等离子体密度的高低与电子束能量直接相关。  相似文献

We investigate the energy spectrum and the corresponding wave functions of an electron confined by a pseudoharmonic potential both including harmonic dot and antidot potentials in the presence of a strong magnetic field together with an Aharonov-Bohm flux field. Exact solutions for the energy levels and wave functions are found for this exactly soluble system. These are all tested under various conditions and also are compared with other works found in the literature. Further, we discuss the related energy spectrum in terms of special values of the proposed pseudoharmonic potential, AB field and magnetic field as a function of magnetic quantum number and magnetic field.  相似文献
