An efficient method for the transformation of N-benzyl bisarylhydrazones and bisaryloxime ethers to functionalized 2-aryl-N-benzylbenzimidazoles and 2-arylbenzoxazoles is described. The protocol involves a copper(II)-mediated cascade C-H functionalization/C-N/C-O bond formation under neutral conditions. Substrates having either electron-donating or -withdrawing substituents undergo the cyclization to afford the target heterocycles at moderate temperature.  相似文献

An unprecedented copper(II)-catalyzed aerobic oxidative synthesis of 2,4,5-triaryl-1,2,3-triazoles and 1,3,5-triaryl-1,2,4-triazoles from bisarylhydrazones as the common starting precursor has been achieved via cascade C-H functionalization/C-C/N-N/C-N bonds formation under mild reaction conditions. One of the enthralling outcomes of this strategy is the copper(II)-catalyzed room temperature C-H functionalization/C-N bond formation in presence of air, which has been accomplished during the synthesis of substituted 1,2,4-triazoles. This new class of compounds could give prospective luminescence as an iconic component in the area of pharmaceutical and biological sciences. The intermediates for both the processes have been isolated to elucidate the mechanistic scenario.  相似文献

Copper(II) acetate catalyzes the coupling of pinacol vinylboronates with silanols producing enol silyl ethers. This represents a novel enol silyl ether synthesis via formation of the C-O bond instead of the conventional Si-O bond. This also constitutes the first transition-metal-catalyzed oxidative cross-coupling with silanols.  相似文献

Rhodium(III)-catalyzed direct functionalization of C-H bonds under oxidative conditions leading to C-C, C-N, and C-O bond formation is reviewed. Various arene substrates bearing nitrogen and oxygen directing groups are covered in their coupling with unsaturated partners such as alkenes and alkynes. The facile construction of C-E (E = C, N, S, or O) bonds makes Rh(III) catalysis an attractive step-economic approach to value-added molecules from readily available starting materials. Comparisons and contrasts between rhodium(III) and palladium(II)-catalyzed oxidative coupling are made. The remarkable diversity of structures accessible is demonstrated with various recent examples, with a proposed mechanism for each transformation being briefly summarized (critical review, 138 references).  相似文献

A new method in which a series of substituted carbazoles is efficiently produced by the combination of an amide and an arene is described. The key feature of this method is the palladium-catalyzed tandem directed C-H functionalization and amide arylation. The method tolerates substitution on either ring of the biaryl amide substrates, and the products can be assembled in a simple two-step protocol from readily available reagents. The Pd(0) species generated are reoxidized to Pd(II) in the presence of Cu(OAc)2 and an atmosphere of oxygen.  相似文献

A catalytic, enantioselective method for the C-H functionalization of indoles by diazo compounds has been achieved. With catalytic amounts of Rh(2)(S-NTTL)(4), the putative Rh-carbene intermediates from α-alkyl-α-diazoesters react with indoles at C(3) to provide α-alkyl-α-indolylacetates in high yield and enantioselectivity. From DFT calculations, a mechanism is proposed that involves a Rh-ylide intermediate with oxocarbenium character.  相似文献

The ruthenium-catalyzed hydroarylation of alkynes with benzamides proceeds regio- and stereoselectively through a directed C-H bond cleavage. Preliminary mechanistic investigations indicate that the reaction involves amide-directed ortho-metalation, carbometalation of alkyne, and protonolysis. Similarly, phenylazoles also add to alkynes regioselectively.  相似文献

The first rhodium-catalyzed arylation of imines proceeding via C-H bond functionalization is reported. Use of a non-coordinating halide abstractor is important to obtain reactivity. Aryl-branched N-Boc-amines are formed, and a wide range of functionality is compatible with the reaction.  相似文献

The development of a novel intermolecular oxidative amination reaction, a synthetic transformation that involves the simultaneous functionalization of both a N-H and C-H bond, is described. The process, which is mediated by an I(III) oxidant and contains no metal catalysts, provides a rapid and green method for synthesizing protected anilines from simple arenes and phthalimide. Mechanistic investigations indicate that the reaction proceeds via nucleophilic attack of the phthalimide on an aromatic radical cation, as opposed to the electrophilic aromatic amination that has been reported for other I(III) amination reactions. The application of this new reaction to the synthesis of a variety of substituted aniline derivatives is demonstrated.  相似文献

Catalytic conversion of unreactive sp(3) C-O bonds in alkyl ethers to C-C bonds is described. Alkyl ethers bearing 2- or 4-pyridyl groups were coupled with triarylboroxines in the presence of a ruthenium catalyst. Triarylboroxines bearing a variety of functional groups including electron-withdrawing and -donating groups can be used for the reaction. No additional base was required for the coupling with the organoboron reagents, and base-sensitive groups can be tolerated. The reaction is considered to proceed via dehydroalkoxylation followed by addition of triarylboroxines to form C-C bonds.  相似文献

A new and highly regioselective arylation of 2-arylbenzoxazoles based on C-H activation has been developed. The results represent the first examples of palladium-catalyzed direct ortho-arylation of 2-arylbenzoxazoles and also provide a facile route for the synthesis of complicated structures containing arylated benzoxazoles moieties.  相似文献

We herein report that PtCl4 has proven to be a hydroarylation catalyst with an efficiency and substrate scope superior to previously known methods. This catalyst demonstrated consistent performance with arene-yne substrates of diverse structural features, including propargyl ethers, propargylamines, and alkynoate esters, providing good to excellent yields of the 6-endo products (chromenes, dihydroquinolines, and coumarins). In contrast, Pt(II), Pd(II), and Ga(III) salts were shown to be sensitive to the substitution on the alkyne moiety. PtCl4 is compatible with both terminal and disubstituted alkynes, as well as with various functionalities on the arene ring, including methyl, methoxyl, hydroxyl, protected amine, and halide.  相似文献

A highly efficient protocol for the benzyl or allylic C-H functionalization of simple hydrocarbons has been developed using stoichiometric amounts of N-hydroxyphthalimide and PhI(OAc)2 in the presence of CuCl catalyst. The reaction was revealed to proceed via a radical pathway, in which phthalimide N-oxyl (PINO) radical plays a dual role, serving as a catalytic hydrogen abstractor from hydrocarbons as well as a stoichiometric reagent to couple with the resultant alkyl radicals.  相似文献

The development of a new method for the assembly of unsymmetrical carbazoles is reported. The strategy involves the selective intramolecular functionalization of an arene C-H bond and the formation of a new arene C-N bond. The substitution pattern of the carbazole product can be controlled by the design of the biaryl amide substrate, and the method is compatible with a variety of functional groups. The utility of the new protocol was demonstrated by the concise synthesis of three natural products from commercially available materials.  相似文献

Cu(II)-catalyzed acetoxylation and halogenation of aryl C-H bonds are developed. ortho-Selectivity was observed with a wide range of 2-arylpyridine substrates. Both mono- and difunctionalizations are achieved by tuning the reaction conditions. Excellent functional group tolerance and use of O2 as a stoichiometric oxidant are significant advantages over our recently developed Pd-catalyzed C-H functionalization reactions. These newly discovered reaction conditions are also applicable for cyanation, amination, etherification, and thioetherification of aryl C-H bonds. Mechanistic investigations are carried out to gain insights into the Cu(II)-catalyzed C-H functionalization reactions.  相似文献

Free NH 3,3-diarylacrylamides are cyclized to substituted 2-quinolones in the presence of CuI, PPh(3), and KO-t-Bu in o-xylene at 100 °C. The reaction proceeds through a C-H functionalization/C-N bond formation process. With unsymmetrical 3,3-diarylacrylamides, high selectivity is observed using substrates where the aromatic ring trans to the amide group bears o-methyl, -chloro, or -bromo substituents.  相似文献
